Our interviews are known for being open, honest, and touching on a variety of subjects, just like real-life conversations. Our primary goal is not to stir controversy or trip up our guests; we genuinely want to create captivating content without relying on shock jock antics. Surviving a Nigerian ft @Lilah_de
It wasn't heartbreak he shattered me! I learned how to make Egusi , He sent me to therapy alone!
On this TCCO episode, I’m joined by Delilah (aka Lilah_de) — a former model I met at one of my events — and her life is what she calls “authentically chaotic.” She met what looked like the love of her life at a jouvert party… first Nigerian guy she ever dated… and honestly, the rollercoaster that followed is mad.
We get into everything: the love-bombing, the cheating (multiple times), the manipulation, the blackmail, and the straight-up gaslighting that made her feel like she was the problem. Man was borrowing money, flipping stories, and then had the nerve to send her to therapy to “work on herself” when he was the one doing the damage. It’s love, betrayal, hurt and sadness — with receipts.
We even had to cut parts out because it was too spicy for YouTube. Still, you’ll hear how she held it down, cooked egusi and jollof for his mum, tried to build something real, and got met with madness. This one’s raw, funny in parts, but very real. If you’ve ever ignored red flags, dated potential, or been spun by sweet talk — tap in.
Time to talk patterns, accountability, and healing. Surviving a Nigerian, ft. Lilah_de. Tune in, like, comment your thoughts, and share with someone who needs the warning signs.
