In this episode, Austin shares his raw, unfiltered experience spending 3 months working remotely across Latin America — the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

Starting in Medellín, Colombia, Austin worked full days while enjoying the city's incredible food, perfect weather, and ultra-low cost of living. From there, a visa mishap meant he couldn't enter Brazil as planned, leaving him stranded in Buenos Aires, Argentina over one of the most expensive weekends of the year (Bad Bunny + Carnival + Valentine's Day). Rather than stress, he pivoted to Punta del Este, Uruguay — a hidden gem he calls the Monaco of Latin America — where he found peace, ocean views, and a level of calm he's rarely experienced anywhere in the world.

Once his Brazil visa finally came through, he made it to Rio de Janeiro, soaking in the views and taking a much-needed mental break before returning to Medellín for his final stretch.

Austin breaks down the real pros and cons of remote work abroad — the affordability, the freedom, and the culture — but also the energy drain of language barriers, the lack of ambitious peers, and why he ultimately believes that for serious entrepreneurs, staying home and locking in will always outperform the digital nomad lifestyle.
