Economics, Philanthropy, Synergy: Steven Rattner
Steven Rattner is the Chairman and CEO of Willett Advisors, which oversees Michael Bloomberg’s personal and philanthropic investments. He is also the Economic Analyst on MSNBC’s Morning Joe and regularly contributes to The New York Times. Previously, Steven was Counselor to the Treasury Secretary, where he led the Obama Administration’s successful auto industry restructuring, chronicled in his book, Overhaul: An Insider's Account of the Obama Administration's Emergency Rescue of the Auto Industry. Additionally, Steven has held leadership roles in public and philanthropic organizations, including serving as Chair of the Educational Broadcasting Corporation and the Mayor’s Fund to Advance NYC. He is a graduate of Brown University and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
