Urbanism, Tel Aviv, Diversity: Hila Oren
Dr. Hila Oren is the CEO of The Tel Aviv Foundation. Previously, she founded and led Tel Aviv Global, an initiative from the Mayor’s Office aimed at elevating the city’s global brand. Under her leadership, the "Startup City" vision was launched, positioning Tel Aviv-Yafo as the Best Smart City in the World in 2014. Hila also directed the Tel Aviv Centennial Administration and held leadership roles at the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. She has served on the boards of Haifa Port, Vertigo Dance Troupe, Neot Kdumim Park, and the Amidor Housing Company. Hila holds a PhD in Geography from Haifa University, with research focused on Tel Aviv's global branding, along with a BA and MBA from Tel Aviv University and executive education from Harvard Kennedy School.
