Chicago, Children, Commitment: Susan Crown
Susan Crown is the Chairman and Founder of the Susan Crown Exchange (SCE) and Chairman & CEO of Owl Creek Partners. As a Partner at Henry Crown & Co., she helped manage investments across oil and gas, defense, banking, telecom, and real estate. Susan served as the Chairman of Crown Family Philanthropies, where she professionalized its grantmaking and led key initiatives, including the Crown Fountain in Millennium Park. Now, Susan serves as Vice-Chair of Rush University Medical Center, spearheading a $1 billion campus transformation and Chicago’s first gold-level LEED-certified hospital. A former Yale Corporation Fellow, she co-chaired the Yale Tomorrow Campaign and holds a B.A. from Yale and an M.A. from NYU.
