Today we see Jeremiah tell the people of Judah in exile to settle in and live a full life for 70 years. He warns them to not believe anyone who prophesies otherwise. Jeremiah assures the exiles that God has a plan to prosper them and not harm them. (after they have served their 70 year sentence)
