SPEAKER_04

When the wheel. Guess who's controlling the uh board today? The one in the one. What? I really wanted to tell people that I'm in charge. He's trying to make sure. He wants to make for dang sure. Hey everybody. Welcome to the Print Theory Podcast. We are back and in a new location in the same shop. Let's go. In the embroidery room.

SPEAKER_05

Woo! Woohoo!

SPEAKER_04

Give it up for embroidery.

SPEAKER_03

They're awesome. They are they're also not here, but they are awesome. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

We let them go a little bit early today.

SPEAKER_02

They finished.

SPEAKER_03

Because they're so awesome. Because they're so fast. Because they're so fast. Let's make that distinction. Because they're so good.

SPEAKER_04

That's good. That's good to hear.

SPEAKER_03

It is crazy. Guys, so we just came back from ISS.

unknown

Right?

SPEAKER_03

The last one we did was Impressions. Or sorry, Impressions. Impressions. And the name has changed. It has. It has. You're right. That's my bad. I still call it ISS. So Impressions Expo, Long Beach. It is one of the best conferences in our industry. It's probably the biggest, I think, in our industry. The most well known. Everyone who's everyone goes to it. We love going to it every single year. And this year, uh, we went and we took our whole team. Whole team. And man, it was a like absolute success, right? It was it was fun. What did you guys think about it?

SPEAKER_04

Good time.

SPEAKER_02

I I thought this trip was different in such a good way. It was like uh and you know, it was so fun to take some of our younger crew members that are new here, they had never been to an industry show, but they they kind of onboarded early last year. So, well, a couple of them in the fall. Mid year?

SPEAKER_04

Mid to late.

SPEAKER_02

So for them, you know, when you've never been in a show like that and you go the first time, your head kind of explodes a little bit because you're like, oh my gosh, you know, Addy with her bag, she was so pumped. She was like, Oh my gosh, I got so much free stuff. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_03

It's literally what we do. Like we're shirts and apparel and promotional items, and you go to a conference. That's what you expect.

SPEAKER_02

It's it's like going through the Costco samples on steroids. It's like, can I give you a hot press sample? That's you bet you can.

SPEAKER_03

It's a good way to do it. Yeah, that is true. They literally hot press these shirts that you're 100%.

SPEAKER_02

That is a great way of fresh hot samples.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome. Man, we did a lot since the last pod. Impressions. Uh we hosted our first shop field trip. Yes. We got a new uh piece of equipment in our shop, uh, which is is super, super, super awesome. Yeah. But let's uh let's go through like let's dive into impressions specifically. Like it was awesome, it was fun, it was really, really good for a lot of our first time uh employees. Um but what did you guys kind of uh take from from from this year specifically? Of like uh like I I think it was a major success. Our this this trip, it was awesome for team morale and everything, everything really, but like I want to pick your guys' brains on like why why we why we all agree that it was such a success.

SPEAKER_02

I think we had really good synergy. Um like the the group that went, I think we just um yeah, everybody just like really jived and glued and it was it was really good. I think it was fun to see Christine lead a production team.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, that was cool.

SPEAKER_02

Um, because she kind of corralled our whole production crew and taught them how to go into the show with questions and get answers. And I know she went with several different um like groups. So she was with Embroidery Group at one point, and then she went off with Elijah and Dan, and they did some some exploring and try to get some answers to their questions. And I I just think that was really cool. It's it's been cool to see how our whole production crew has responded to her leadership, and yeah, um, yeah, it's really it was a really great trip.

SPEAKER_04

What you did, yeah. Um I it was good all all around. Got to get some pizza, so that was good. Always some Italian food, some Italian food. We had to go to Dominico's Dominico's Always that was good, yeah, and Burratino's buratino.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, Dominico's mozzarella sticks are mozzarella logs, mozzarella logs, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I think they say logs, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That big, they're like they're big though, but they come out and you're like, what's going on with those things? They're enormous, but they were good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, it was it was a good trip. I I think everyone got along well and everyone just drived together. There wasn't any issues or anything, and um, I think everyone really enjoyed the trip and just seeing what the industry offers. Yeah, there's there's a lot of cool things.

SPEAKER_03

I'd venture to say that this year was not to discredit any other year because every year it just feels like it gets better. But like it I genuinely think this year was the funnest year ever because that synergy that we had and everyone was just having fun and relaxing and then going from business talk to conspiracy talk to Bible talk to like everything in between. That was the best. I remember Addy was sitting there, she's just like, These are my people. Like, I this is so she's like, I am so in love with what we're talking about right now. She's like, this is awesome. She's like, I've never been able to talk about this, like just never been able to like sit in a place and be around people and be like, these are my people. Yeah. And I was like, Well, you're here. So soak it up. Like it was.

SPEAKER_02

Let's let's be each other's people.

SPEAKER_03

For real. It was fun. And we all like there was there's like no drama, and there was a lot of learning, and there was a lot of like uh okay, it's back and forth, like in a good way. Of like uh we were constantly asking, like, so what do you guys think? Like what especially like like the new uh our our new people are for their first timers, is like, what did you think? What do you think about today? What do you think about the what do you think about your uh like Elijah and Dan? Like, what do you think about your classes this year? Yeah. Like what did you learn from that? And yeah, Joe, we're like, has it we went to Ruth Chris was like, was has your perception changed of this industry?

SPEAKER_05

And yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm like, this was this was a lot of fun. What do you think uh okay, what do you think your favorite moment was? You guys went up so Dan and Elijah, Dan, Elijah, little Dan and Joe Joe went up a day before us.

SPEAKER_04

Day before that was fun. I got to spend the day with Joe while Dan and uh did a little romance going on. Went to uh class, and so we like walked around, drove around, found like a pier to sit at, and we had our computers out and phones and just was like working. Well, it was at a table. Oh yeah, it was a table, and um they were just sitting by the sitting at the coast on the coastline on the bench remotely, but we had some good talk. It was it was good, good.

SPEAKER_03

Joe couldn't shut up about it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was it was uh he was I was like, Joe, you can either go today or tomorrow. Um I go, but you're gonna have to spend the day with me because Elijah and Dan, and he's like, wait, you're telling me that all my dreams would come true. And I was like, give me the opportunity right now. All right, you're you're in. Let's go. You're in, you're in. Yeah, I kind of know. That was that was good, that was a good day. That was uh that was a fun time.

SPEAKER_02

Nice.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, Sarah, what about you? What's your favorite moment of the trip?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, my favorite moment was probably, and it I would say is a culmination of a few different moments, but I think it was probably getting to talk to colleagues and um vendor partners about merch on a mission and seeing the response. I mean, what an incredible response from so many organizations that we deeply respect. S, Sanmar, Rock. Um, these are kind of our our linchpin companies that we we have worked so closely with and grown with over the years, and to see them uh like express the interest. And not just express the interest, but like actually follow up on that. I just I think it I think for me it makes those moments extra special because I'll look back on those conversations when this is a really big deal and be like, wow, like those were my first moments of like sharing the vision with our industry and taking it to s to people that are you know we're locked arms with in um in apparel.

SPEAKER_03

So yeah. That was fun. Man, for me, um, I think it was I think like for me it was uh seeing Joe like he started to see things click in his mind while he's having conversations and while we're walking the show. Like it it was like it felt like I got to experience the transformation of how his brain was thinking in the lifetime where like the first day, our for our all first day at the show. We get there and you know, we're doing what we do, we're walking the show, and he's just like kind of soaking it all in, and like you could tell proactively throughout the day things are becoming more real to him, and he's starting to understand, like, oh, this is what it is, and then like the conversations, and like he starts to ask more questions and like so why did you ask them this? It's like, oh, because you know, this and this and this, and he's like, Oh, now that makes sense. And then I would start to like we'd be waiting in a booth or whatever, we'd walk to the next booth, and if I didn't ask that question again, he would be like, Why didn't you ask that question? Or he would just like by the I think it was on uh one of the booths we went to, he was like, he starts asking the question, and he's just like he was like, So what do you have in comparison to next level 6040 blend?

SPEAKER_02

And I'm like when you start naming codes and dropping fabric blends, that's when you know, like, oh, it's clicky.

SPEAKER_03

But it was awesome, and it was like him being like, This was cool, and it was funny in the or it was it was funny, but it was like really good in in which showed me his like his process of thinking, um, which meant that he cared. It was like we went to we went to lunch, right? And uh we were talking about like you know, the morning time, how everyone's day was. I think we I think it was the day we went to CPK and uh he was like, Oh, I'm like, I I want to go, we we want to go see the smart blanks boot booth. And Christine was like, Oh, like I wasn't I wasn't impressed, like I wasn't a fan. Yeah. And he was like, Oh, okay. And we were walking by it, and Joe was like, Christine says she didn't like this, like I won I want to see like what she didn't like. And he was going and we're and like we walk in. I think Nate was walking with us, and we're going in and we're we're looking at the smart blanks booth and we're looking at different stuff, and he was just like, I don't know, Christine's talking, like I like I genuinely like this. Like this is it feels actually like this. Well, and I was like, like it wasn't just like, oh, I'm just taking her word at it because I don't really know. I'm just feeling it, I don't know the difference. He was like, actually, this feels like this, which is a good product, and like that you could see him being like, it's cool, and then like yeah, he asked our guy, like, what's the price point on this? Because he heard me ask like earlier. And it was cool, and he was just like, That's like that's cheaper than what we get the DM1 away for. And I was like, Yeah. And he's like, Oh, we gotta write this one down. And I was like, it was cool to be like this, and then to hear him, like, now that we're back, him being like, Hey, what about like what about this? Have we gotten logged in with smart blanks yet? Or have we gotten logged in with this like yet?

SPEAKER_02

Like, I remember they had like this pri like, and I'm just like so Joe transformed into a salesman.

SPEAKER_03

It happened, and I saw it in Lifetime. What was it?

SPEAKER_02

Like a beautiful butterfriend. We need to input that scene as a little live caterpillar.

SPEAKER_03

It was cool. That that was probably my my my just like favorite like kind of moment of of like the show, just seeing it like in live time, him asking more direct questions that you could tell were clicking in his mind of like, oh, this is what we do. And like it was like, oh, this is cool.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, but Dan, Dan, what was your funniest moment on this trip? I know exactly what my funniest moment.

SPEAKER_04

Go ahead, go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Let me share away, Brandon. So it was it was one of the last, I think it was the last day.

SPEAKER_02

You tell the same story I tell.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, that would be hilarious. And cut.

SPEAKER_02

Mr. Producer! Okay, Mr.

SPEAKER_03

Producer. Okay, so the funniest moment was I think it was the last day. We were all pretty tired, and Nate's like Nate and or Nate, me and Joseph, we're in like the back back room, like after the rock area, like the back room where like a lot of just like kind of the smaller.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, is one of my favorite moments too.

SPEAKER_03

We were we're going around. Oh man, and Nate is like, you can says some funny stuff sometimes when he's like tired or like just been a long day, and he's carrying around his equipment and stuff like that. And he goes, actually, there's two. These these two kind of go in coincide. He's like, he's talking about it, and uh, we're getting ready to like do. I was like, oh, can we like we we want to do a uh or like oh we should I was like we we should do a video with Next Cap. Let's go back and talk to him. And he was like, Okay. He's like, let me let me get set back up again. He's like, I gotta just put this. He's like taking my backpack. I gotta find I gotta find a table. And then we're trying to find a table, and he's like, There's no tables, there's no tables. Then he's like, I just gotta get on the floor. And then he's like, and he like, he's like, I gotta change the batteries, and he like flicks out the battery, and it like like like like a like a precision marksman with a gun. He like reloads his like the battery flies out and he pops back in and Joe goes, whoa, whoa, do that again. And Nate's on the floor, like looking up at him, he goes, You like that? You like that? That's how we do it. And he goes, and he tries it, he's like, Oh wait, I can't do it. He's like, wait a second. He's like, hold up. He's like, that's how we do it. Oh, it was funny. And then like immediately there were like he gets set up, and then he's like, All right, I gotta go to the bathroom before we like before we do this. And then he walks back through the behind the curtain, and we're like, I think it's back here. We've got to find a place. And he walks, he walks, he goes to the bathroom, and he comes back out, and he's like, Well, I know where all the tables are. He's like, they're all in the back here. They aren't, there were a lot of tables in the back. He's like, there's so many tables back there. And while we're doing that, like while he's in the bath, like like then that that that the 10 minutes of that span was like the funniest time for me because while he's in the bathroom, Joe is just being Joe. And like totally organic, just like he starts feeling the backdrop that is like hanging from the ceiling, and he's just like, and I'm I literally like I'm just like looking at him, just like, what is what is he doing? And he's just like like total genuine, like total with total genuineness.

SPEAKER_04

Could have been a scene from the office type. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Um and we had to like try and re-record it, but it wasn't as good. Like it just wasn't as good.

SPEAKER_02

But just so you know, that was an actual real moment. So if you saw the Instagram reel and thought that was funny, it was truly organic at one point. It was not like 20 minutes before that.

SPEAKER_03

It was literally just he's touching it, and I'm like, What the heck are you doing? And he just like, you think this is like 6040? I'm like, no, Joe, it's a backdrop. And he's like, I'd wear it. And I'm just like, oh my gosh. And then Nate comes out and he's like, I know where the tables are, and I'm like, oh my gosh, like, this is the best, and we're so tired. But those are my that was, man, like I'm a little that's gonna live rent-free in my mind uh forever. That was so much fun. Maybe that should be a shirt. I'd I'd wear that. I'd wear that. Ooh. That was my funniest that's my contribution. Oh, yeah, we got it. I forgot we're on Spotify Video now, guys. Yeah, really? They got us on Mr. Producer. Got us on Spotify Video. Yeah, Mr.

SPEAKER_02

Producer.

SPEAKER_03

We got this.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't sound like Mark Levin. I tried Mr.

SPEAKER_03

Producer.

SPEAKER_02

Everyone do your best, Mark Levin.

SPEAKER_03

Mr. Producer. First, explain to me who Mark Levin is.

SPEAKER_04

Mark Levin is a syndicated Grammy Award-winning host. How dare you not say that? I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Just much hostility from both sides. Mr. Producer. I don't know how you said Mr. Producer.

SPEAKER_02

It's not bad. Mr. Producer. There it is. A little higher pitch. Dan's got it. You know, he has a good radio voice.

SPEAKER_04

He does have a good radio voice. No, she's talking about you, Dan. Oh, me? You have a good radio voice. Yeah, but I secretly, one of my dreams would have been to be a like a DJ on like Caleb. And I would have been called Caleb Still Available. Still available. You listen to 88.9 K Dove FM. Uh we got the next song coming up, and then I'm just listening.

SPEAKER_03

Caleb Dan has uh weekday nights from 10 p.m. Caleb Still Ramsey.

SPEAKER_02

Caleb Still Ram.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

88.9. Okay. Forrest. I think he works for 88.9. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Spirit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah. Maybe maybe you should re-record for Spirit 88.9, and then maybe they'll pick you up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I'll s I'll send my stuff to him. Yeah. Ooh, that's good. But I do have to have a show called Dan in the Night Time. Hey, this is Dan in the Nighttime. Thank you for tuning in. That's why it's 88.90 to 2 a.m. radio.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. It's Dan in the nighttime. Dan in the morning time.

SPEAKER_04

Because I get off work here and then just go there for a little bit. When Dan gets done here at 10 p.m. and then go to there. No, you just don't sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. My goodness. Okay. Uh that was some funny stuff. What was what was our most valuable conversation from my from impressions?

SPEAKER_04

I think we had a lot of them. We had we had conversations with Sanmar, which was good. We got connected to some higher ups uh with Ryan from Ryanette. Oh yeah. Um from Rock and even like some of those other guys, um some of all their text and uh Brandon. And yeah, there's there was quite a few that we talked to. It's kind of cool like to to go to the show and people remember you and they're like, Oh hey guys, how you doing? Like they they actually like want to talk to you or um yeah, catch up or stuff like that. It's really it's really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it is pretty cool.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. At one point we were talking, I don't know what we were talking about, but we were like walking around, they were like showing us all around, and uh the group was I think with Christine and they were like in the middle, and I was like, Oh, we're just walking around. She's like, Nope, nope, we're just watching like the magic happen, like you guys connect and talk to people, and like it's cool to see that from behind the scenes, you know. Yeah, yeah. So I thought it was cool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

What uh what relationships do you guys think moved forward, like progressed from out of this show, leaving out of impressions 2026? If you could pinpoint like a specific relationship.

SPEAKER_02

I think I think that certainly our relationship with Ryan and Rock, you know, uh, I think even screenprinting.com, like I I think just getting to like network and primarily around Murch on a mission, like kind of bringing that mission to these people that you know they've they've done so much for the industry. For us, and we we didn't share anything. We like we weren't asking for anything. It was incredible to me to see how people responded like immediately. Hey, we want to be a part of this and we want to help. That to me was just like I I thought that was amazing. Um, and so certainly I've had more communication, like personal communication with a lot of these people since the show. Another one for me, um, advanced imaging. We got to talk to Jeff, their founder, and he's coming out with a scoop coder, which is something that we need in the shop. We're literally a scoop coder away from like I don't even know what more automated equipment we could buy in screen printing at this point. It would literally just be buying more of them.

SPEAKER_04

You can buy the machines that take the shirts off and then put up.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we can get the robot. Now that would be Fun.

SPEAKER_03

Rocks and robots are crazy. Let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um, but yeah, I think I think our Sanmar connections, Matt from Sanmar, Debbie, um, Ryan, Chris from FPG, um Brandon from Screenprinting.com. Just a lot of people.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, a lot of people. Great conversations with them.

SPEAKER_03

So we talked with Jade, Jade Porter from Jade from SNS, and they're on board, so it's like that's so cool. That's this year's gonna be wild. It's gonna be cool. It's gonna be a lot of fun.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, you know, Dan, you got your burgerino's this year. Burgotinos pizza. The annual tradition of our rock show, and we uh ended the show with uh a nice dinner out with our team at Ruth's Chris, and this was funny. We got into we we had never been to Ruth's Chris.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that was my first time. For most well, I think you guys have been a few of the I have been to Ruth Chris uh honestly, maybe like twice like two or three times in my life.

SPEAKER_03

Uh Nathan has always been really good. Yeah, me and Nate went and went in Hawaii. We went in Hawaii, that was fun. Uh but I hadn't got it's been years. It's been years since we went. And I think everyone else hadn't been there. Yeah, it was Addie's first time ever at like a nice steakhouse like that.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's fun.

SPEAKER_03

Well, she had been at Cheyenne's. So that's true.

SPEAKER_02

Cheyenne's has got the they got the fire. They got the huge.

SPEAKER_03

You know, Cheyenne's is I would ri I would say that Cheyenne's is just as good, if not better. Cheyenne's probably better. I would say better than Ruth Chris, which is crazy because like Ruth Chris is known for being like the best of the best.

SPEAKER_02

If I had to pick both good, I would pick Cheyenne's.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, me too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

You can wear a hat in Cheyenne's.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and I can wear a hat in Cheyenne's. You can't wear a hat at Ruth Chris. Okay, so we get into Ruth Chris. Such a bummer. Story time. Story time.

SPEAKER_02

Story time. And the waitress says to me, she says, Um, excuse me, uh, we do have a dress code here, and I'm sorry, but they're not gonna be able to wear their hats. I think we had two people. Was it you and Nate?

SPEAKER_03

It was me. And me and Nate that had hats on. I know we couldn't wear hats. I don't remember that really.

SPEAKER_02

And I said, I looked at her and I said, Oh, no problem. They totally understand etiquette. They're gonna remove those hats on their own. You don't even have to tell them. And she looked at me with like this sense of relief, like, oh, thank God, I don't want to tell them that they can't wear a hat in here. Um, and you guys did. I don't even think I had to say anything, and I feel like you guys think the waitress told us, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Although waitressed when they went to go sit down. Or the hostess down. Um, I think right when they went to set everyone down, they're like, oh, just you can't you can't wear hats. And I was like, I and then Brandon had to take his hat off. It was I had to take my hat off. Yeah. And his hair was they all had head hair or hat hair.

SPEAKER_02

Did you put your hat on for the picture?

SPEAKER_03

No.

SPEAKER_02

No, huh? And I regret it. I regret it.

SPEAKER_03

I should have. I really and I I legit for like a good 10 minutes into the into dinner or like ordering sitting there, I was like, please don't make me do it. Yeah, I really want my hat on. Like, I just want to put my hat on. It feels so weird. I don't know why. I wasn't planning on it. It's your credit.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you weren't, yeah. You weren't.

SPEAKER_03

It's my safe space. You were less talkative. It's because I was insecure. Superpower. My hat is my superpower. That's why I sell hats. Money spread.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I'm selling hats. We need that song interjected into this pod. That should be our exit song.

SPEAKER_03

That happened in January, too.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we did. We came up with a song for Brandon for the hat save. It's so good we're gonna use it all the time.

SPEAKER_03

It's unreleased. Let's let's let's put in a snippet here.

SPEAKER_01

They be like, hey, Brandon, what you gotta do? Don't want the money. Don't want the funny, sweetheart. Don't want the funny.

SPEAKER_00

We can bring three like who need candies. Then they got a sample, stacked like flex, snap bags, that had a little too big, in the lips, sell embroidery just to feel sitting again. They say cheap, better say nigga fan. Your merch man at us, please understand. He say merch different with a straight face too. Like I said, your wisdom passed down through the crew. My name is My name's Brand. He don't chase leads, leads, chase some inbox, dressed out look. Hate them hat mock ups, line, colorways clash, still closes, deals. I'll vibe the math. He swear every brand need at least one lid. Trust me, bro, Brennan insists from startup drink to little league teams, everybody capped out at print. Theory. Do we have it?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, we do.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, right here. I don't know where.

SPEAKER_04

Hello, clear this link. Click right here.

SPEAKER_03

This link right on my face.

SPEAKER_04

Nope, noop.

SPEAKER_03

I walk in.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, actually. I honestly do do those buttons ever get in when we say that. Just right here below. I don't think so. Right here.

SPEAKER_03

Nate's like, I'm not doing this. This time this time. This time. I got a bone to pick with Nate Dog and then. Apparently they were like, Of course, Brandon's gonna load this song. Of course, Brandon's gonna load this song. It's got his name in it. And I'm like, I walk in and they're and the song's going, and I'm like, this song's fire. Like, what who what is this? What is this? And they're like, and they just start laughing. They start laughing, and they're like, Of course you like it. It's your it's literally about you. It's like it's your name. And I was like, wait, what? And then they restarted it. And I mean, it's fire, and it's literally like what is Brandon.

SPEAKER_04

It's like we should take the clip, you know, the meme of the hey Brandon, what you wearing? And he's like, Don't worry about it, sweetheart. Don't work this next. We should start the the song off with that. Like, hey Brandon, what you wearing? Don't worry about it, sweetheart. And then the music fades in. That would be cool. That would be cool.

SPEAKER_02

He's already learned how to play it. Oh man. He's been practicing it.

SPEAKER_03

Wait a second. Let me just let me let me cook.

SPEAKER_02

What? Just kidding.

SPEAKER_04

He's all canceling worship practice. Guys, I got a new song for you.

SPEAKER_03

Guys, I got a new song. Trust me. It's called My Name's Brandon. It is so good though, guys.

SPEAKER_02

You gotta hear it.

SPEAKER_03

It's so good.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, we came home, we had a great show, and then Brandon had a little surprise for us, which we knew about, but we kind of were like, forgot that it was right after, but we were happy about it. Oh yeah. Yes. Yes, you did.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. It wasn't a surprise. I just all kind of just we knew we were gonna handle it later. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

It was like that thing we were like, yeah, we're doing that in January.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And then we came home, we were like, whoa. Oh, it's January.

SPEAKER_03

It's happening right now.

SPEAKER_02

It's next week. It's this week.

SPEAKER_03

It's next week.

SPEAKER_02

It's this week. Which was?

SPEAKER_03

We had, oh yeah. We had our very first shop tour.

unknown

Woohoo!

SPEAKER_03

First shop tour. Ever. Ever. And I know you guys have built this shop like intentionally with like right in like in our showroom, like looking into production, because you know you you wanted to bring people in and show them the you know the uh the behind the scenes of like like what goes into like making a shirt and stuff like that. And so it was really cool. Um yeah, it was fun. Man, it we uh so Eric uh Eric Lewis uh shout out love you man. Uh Eric Lewis over at Selma High School uh and Aaron Nino, they run the uh Eric runs the entrepreneurship class and Aaron Nino runs the uh the Selma Bear Prince class. And they knew we work with print theory and we and I do stuff with Eric on the FCA side uh for Fellowship Christian athletes and uh we do a lot of wholesale business for Selma High School and we love them. And he was like, Hey, I would love to bring Oh uh m months ago, months ago, yeah, he had brought the Valley ROP uh leaders of like his friends and team and was like, Hey, can I bring them to the shop and show them around? And we were like, Yeah, of course. And he's like, All right, we're gonna be meeting in Kingsburg anyways.

SPEAKER_04

Like that day or something.

SPEAKER_03

I think he told me the day before or something like that. And he was like, Is this okay? And I'm like, Of course. Like, let's just come on by whenever you guys are here. And he brought some of them by and we gave just gave them just a tour of the shop, and he was like, Man, this was awesome. And then he's like, Would you guys be open to doing tours for our like our schools? And I was like, Yeah, of course, like that'd be cool. And then he started asking me, like, I think in November, uh was like, Hey, is this like I really want to do this? Can we figure something out? Like, what would it take? And all this different. So we figured out all the details, and we figured it out, you know, for Jan end of January was gonna work best, and um, and he was gonna bring the entrepreneurship class and the bear prints class they were gonna bring, and uh graphics design and a couple and just like for their uh for their pathways and uh marketing and entrepreneurship and all that stuff. And I was like, this is really cool. And then we did it, and it was so much fun.

SPEAKER_02

It was a lot of fun. Oh man, it was it was a lot of fun. So we did three stations. So we had screen printing, um, and then the kids came into our wide format room and we talked in this room about entrepreneurship, and we kind of shared a little bit of our journey and some of the ups and downs and some kind of guiding lights that we tend to follow. And then we had the kids come into the embroidery side and they got to work with Christine. And I will say, I think both departments crushed it on screen printing and embroidery. So proud of you guys. The kids had an interactive experience in both of those sessions. Yeah, it's cool. So they actually got to like step up and load a shirt on our big press and catch shirts coming off the dryer. They came to embroidery, and Christine hosted a little heat press competition, which was a lot of fun, a blindfolded heat press competition. Don't worry, folks. They weren't actually heat pressing those shirts, they were just placing their transfers.

SPEAKER_03

But we didn't let them touch the heat press.

SPEAKER_02

If they were interacting with our team or they volunteered to like load shirts on the press or just be a part of the demonstration, then they won uh extra tickets, yeah, which bought them better odds when we got to the end of the day where we did uh a ton of raffles and giveaways and gave away a ton of merch. I thought it was so cool. It's like my favorite box of hats I've ever given away. Every single one of those kids wore those hats and loved them.

SPEAKER_04

Well, they were doing the embroidery station, they were stitching hats. And then everybody got a hat if they wanted a hat. Yeah, that's I was like, that's cool.

SPEAKER_03

And they're all wrapped in print. It was pretty cool. They were all I saw a kid today. I was on campus and I saw a kid wearing a hat. Wearing a PT hat? Like across the across the uh the quad, I was like, hey, that's one of our PT hats. Yeah. So I was like, he went. He came, I must have came. It was really, really fun to do that. Like, and I and I think like it was really cool, like it was a momentous day. I don't know if I use that word right, but like for us, it was really, really cool of like, man, we've never done something like that, especially at that scale. When we have like 40 teenagers, three sessions, simultaneously rotating these sessions, uh utilizing our space and doing demonstrations, and then uh shout out to Corsaros for uh helping us out with the pizza. Tim, you were awesome. Uh they really hooked it up, and so we had the pizza, we had pizzas for them, and we so we created this space to not only learn for another school in our community uh to learn about the possibility of being in like what it means to be in this industry and what it means to even just start a business and what whatever that may look like for them and their life, and uh and then to like break bread together and talk about and ask them questions and they got to ask they got to ask us more questions.

SPEAKER_02

They had great questions. They came, they those questions packed the heat too. They were like value. What is your gut word? It's like woo.

SPEAKER_03

Dan Sarah.

SPEAKER_02

Can you add to this?

SPEAKER_03

I'm not at liberty to speak. It was fun. We then we gave out a ton of Dutch Bros gift cards. Dutch Bros cards. That was a lot of goods, um laser-etched mugs and uh cups and stickers and hoodies and shirts. And these kids left like they left with a lot of cool stuff.

SPEAKER_02

They left pretty stacked with stuff, I thought, which was cool. But I think just seeing, you know, sometimes I've I've been to like different functions with high school kiddos, and sometimes they're really um timid to answer or to ask questions or like get involved. And I just I I I really appreciated that these kids like they were they were intrigued and it showed and they had great questions and they I mean it was a lot of fun. And I think our team, you guys did such a good job because you broke the ice for them. And so you kind of showed them like, hey, you don't have to be timid here, like we're all just like normal people, and and you know, we we want to have a good time and enjoy ourselves. And it was just a great, it was great. I for me, this shop making it look aesthetical and making it look beautiful and be functional at the same time. Yeah, the the number one driver outside of just wanting to have uh uh an amazing space to come to work every day is that I wanted to do field trips and I wanted it to be presentable to people and to customers and to give back to our community and give back to kids in that way because it is a lot of fun. You know, when we put our press in, you know, our kids were just little and they thought it was just amazing, you know. So spaceship, man. Yeah, and that's that's why we have a glass wall.

SPEAKER_04

Even adults like it's like a spaceship. Yeah, thank you.

SPEAKER_03

It's really fun. It's it was intentional that you guys did that, and the fact that like it's it's been able to come to fruition now, like in a very quick and you know, semi-stressful of just like getting everything prepared and you know making the shop look nice and all this stuff. Like, I know it was probably a lot.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but like they all left with the T, like a yeah, and they all left with the T-shirt.

SPEAKER_02

We actually printed their shirts during their sessions, yeah. So each session, whatever the kids in there, like we were printing those shirts.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we did puff prints. Really cool to be able to do that for people in our community and like especially like with our industry, there's a lot of people who have been in the industry for just so long. Yeah, and you have a lot of like there's not a lot, there's not a there's not a surplus of new print shop owners or screen printers wanting embroiderers to come into the industry and be like, I'm gonna take over. It's it's a lot of people are just like, I'm ready to retire. And then you have the certain pockets of the young, fresh blood of people who are like really making a change in us, and uh you know, amongst others, and it's really cool to be to like I just think like, man, like what if we maybe just spark the seed of whatever somebody else to be like, oh my gosh, or future salesman or future printers or screen printers or entrepreneurs in general, that that can be like what for what for whatever industry be like. I remember my sophomore or my senior or my freshman year or whatever it is. Like I went to print theory and you know, Sarah was talking about you know what it means like the to start this business and any business, and what it like you have to be willing to put in the hard work and you know the long hours and willing to and it's like they can reference back to like that. It's like man, we we planted the seeds and you know gotta reap the harvest. It's really, really cool. Um but before we go on with that, I want you guys to open something from from Selma High. So I went today and they uh Eric was like, hey, we have something for you guys. And I want you guys to I want you to give it to Dan and Sarah. And I was like, awesome, I definitely will. And I opened it up and he's like, open it. And I was like, okay, cool. So I opened it, and I was like, I will, it's right here. It's right here. This box. And either one of you get whoever.

SPEAKER_02

Go ahead, Dano.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, okay. Whoever's got the best camera angle. Nate, who's got the better camera angle? All right, Dio. So this is from Selma High, from uh Aaron Nino and Eric Lewis and the whole team that uh that came to uh to our shop tour.

SPEAKER_02

No way. That's that's gonna live in this building for the end of time. First, they all signed it. That is first print theory field trip. You know what would be amazing is like five years from now, try and catch up with some of these kids. Yeah because a lot of I think all of them were juniors and seniors, and like see where they're at. Like, what what did you end up doing? Because a lot of them are studying entrepreneurship, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But I was like, no way they signed it. Every single one that showed up signed it. He was like, We were trying to think about like what we could do to give back to you guys.

SPEAKER_02

Like man, I think one of them becomes famous. Thank you, Selma. That's it. We appreciate that. That's special. That's really fun.

SPEAKER_03

It's that's cool. Yeah, I was like, That's really cool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, totally. Yeah, that is very special.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because they have a little thing. It does. Yeah, there you go. There we go. Man, that was uh yeah, that was a fun day. I look back and I'm like, let's do this again. Yeah, like let's do this again.

SPEAKER_02

You know what was so good about it too, like honestly, is kind of a blessing to our shop is like taking that one day to just go through and deep clean everything. Like our functionality as a team was so good all week long because the shop was super organized and clean. I was like, we just need to schedule one a month and then we'll get our deep cleaning in every single month. It was great.

SPEAKER_03

Man, it was a lot of fun. All right, and speaking of leveling up and what we can do for our customers and our community, we have added another monster upgrade to our shop. Sarah, do you want to talk about it?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. So every year when we go to a show, we're asking ourselves, what do we need to buy that we don't have now? What capabilities are we missing that we need to add to our repertoire so we can better serve our people? Uh, we usually always try to come home with another form of decoration, but this year going to the show is a little different because we kind of have all the equipment and now it's really just expanding on the equipment, buying more of it, buying bigger.

SPEAKER_03

Rock oval.

SPEAKER_02

Um, yep, rock oval. It's in our future. So we'll be talking soon.

SPEAKER_03

We just don't got the space.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. As soon as I get that building built. Not yet. Um working on it. Um, we bought another six-head inboarding machine.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

My name's Brandon.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So so we almost bought this machine uh back in November because we were slammed. I think we had one week where we stitched 3,500 hats. I honestly look back now and think, I don't know how it was possible.

SPEAKER_04

We worked so much.

SPEAKER_02

It was crazy.

SPEAKER_04

We worked so hard.

SPEAKER_02

So, in a shift, our shop could, in an eight-hour shift, standard shift, we could produce 250 hats on our one six-head Tajima. And then we needed to produce 500 hats a day for seven days in order to get our orders out on time. And we did. We literally ran double shifts. Um, Christine was coming in at like 5 a.m. And then I was working till like 10 p.m. midnight. Like we were trying to get the time in. We staggered lunches so that we never paused on the Tojima during a lunch break, so that we were like solid 16 hours of runtime all the way through. And we were able to get our job done, you know, and get all that stuff out for customers that needed it by Christmas for parties and whatnot. But coming into the next year, we knew we needed to expand. So this machine, I'm so glad we ended up not getting it till January because we ended up getting the upgraded model. So this, yeah, so our machine previously, like it's all manually tensioning with turning wheels on the actual stitch heads. This machine auto-tensions everything. So it's threaded a little bit differently, but it you it like capacity-wise, we're gonna get like our our assessment so far is a solid 10% of capacity increase because it's auto-tensioning for you, you're not breaking thread. And every time you break a thread, the machine stops. And so it's not breaking thread. Um we crazy yesterday.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, You're kidding me. She goes, No, for reels. Like, and she was like counting it off to me, all the stuff they got done. Yeah, and her and Addy were so proud. They were like, We we did this. Two people, two machines, 700 pieces. Yeah, unbelievable.

SPEAKER_04

And not even like crazy, like they weren't like crazy rush. Or like it was just crazy. It's just like, no, it's just their flow. Yep. Yeah. It's cool. Yeah. With great stitching.

SPEAKER_02

It's pretty amazing. We had a really good conversation with the VP of Hirsch Sales. And so they they are contracted to sell Tajima. And I actually think he convinced me to sell our T Mark, which is only a year old, and then replace it with a brand new TMEZ, which is just the later version that we have sitting over here now. Right behind us. Yeah, right behind us. The TM EZ. Just because for me to like the functionality in the shop, training people, it's it's a lot easier to train people on the same machine. Yeah as opposed to having to like train them different. You know what I mean? So for expansion, it'll be better. And uh yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's fine. It's fun. I mean that and that literally means like when our customers ask us for 150 hats, like we can do it and we can do it faster.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And if you need rush orders or different stuff like that, like we can get more done quicker, yeah, which means we may have more uh capacity for rush orders. We have more capacity to just do more, uh which is on the sales side. I'm like bring it on. Yeah, I awesome.

SPEAKER_02

And I think the important thing here, and and I I think Dan and I, I mean, babe, I don't know what you like your thoughts on this, but I feel like we have sometimes more capacity than we may need in this shop, but but having extra capacity, having a little more capacity than you need ensures that we're gonna pump out great quality. Yeah. So we're not like lowering stitch counts and trying to like shave things down so we can get them done faster. And you know, it's still good, but it's just okay. Like we're we're we're actually like we're not, we're keeping quality at the forefront and making sure, like, no, however many times that needle needs to puncture through that garment, it's gonna happen so that we can give the best quality items. So I think for us it was it was also important to make sure that we protected growth and capacity so that we could protect ensuring quality as we grow. So we don't become that company that got really big and then their product turned bad. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I mean, we we hear all the like, and Joe's starting to hear it more. Like we hear we hear it all the time of when we're going out and uh having new client consults and we're going over like what their needs are and what their previous experience was with uh previous vendors and different stuff like that. I hear all the time of like it was great in the beginning.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Or it was great for the first couple months, and then it just feels like they stopped caring. Then the quality just kind of got worse, or the communication got worse, or it just feels like they they had me, and so then they had my business and they just didn't have to try anymore. And I'm like, oh, that's right. That's that's hard because it can be easily like they're fine, they they usually don't complain. So like I can shave a stitch count here and not gonna say anything or whatever, and but can customers notice? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, and I think I don't think that ever happens, like I I don't think it ever happens in a way of like, well, I just don't care anymore. I think what happens is if you aren't investing in the expansion of your team and your capacity, you're just you're putting yourself in a situation where you're almost always gonna get cornered and pressured. And that pressure is gonna lead you to just you're gonna start putting out fires as opposed to like responding. You just have to become very reactionary to everything being thrown at you because now, like, great, you've done good in sales, you put out great quality, now your sales are exploding. And if you don't grow with those sales, you're like, what's gonna give? How are you gonna get the workout? And so I think that's when people start like putting themselves in a pressure cooker. And I and I always find it so interesting. It's like people are afraid to grow and add more machines. And I'm thinking, like, well, you're torturing yourself right now. What would be worse? I mean, you're already realizing the impact of of not growing, and that seems to be harder than just growing. So I don't know, I don't know, it's different. Yeah, it's riskier to grow, but it's more fun that way.

SPEAKER_03

It's riskier and it's more stressful, but dang, it it really pushes you as we're like reading about like the science of scaling and stuff, like it's forcing it forces us to think differently and make decisions that we wouldn't uh do previously that uh intentionally were going into it knowing this is gonna make us feel really uncomfortable and this is gonna feel like we are being stretched like crazy. But when your back's against the wall or when you're when you when you're given no other option, yeah, people who are doers just do. They they figure it they figure a way through it, and those are the people that really excel. Uh and I feel like just like anything, like the more you force yourself to do that, not that it's gonna get more comfortable every time you stretch because you're stretching yourself to hire, but your brain and you will be more used to taking uh educated risks and and you seeing the reward of you putting in the hard work and the paying off, saying, you know what, big risks the majority of the time if I'm gonna put in the work and I'm gonna consistently focus on our quality, I'm gonna make sure I have X, Y, and Z like planned out, these risks are gonna equal reward. And that is fun and that is exciting, and you're never gonna get to a$20 million company if you're not willing to make them take the necessary steps to push yourself to be a five million dollar company or a three million dollar company.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_03

In a time frame that seems impossible, which is crazy. It's it's hard.

SPEAKER_04

And we're not just like pushing people with just the equipment that we have. Like we're scaling so that way our our team is not like overburdened or having to work overtime or you know, having to take away from their time to to do jobs. Now our capacity has grown. I mean, 700 items, that's that's crazy for one day. But imagine yeah, with just one machine added. Like what would another one do? You know, two hats going with one flat, like that'd be crazy. Oh my gosh. But um, yeah, it's it's it's an investment into the business, it's an investment into the people, uh, because we believe in our team. Like I I don't think we would have done it if we didn't believe our team could handle it or or uh could handle maximizing that yeah, that that adjustment. Like they they care as much as I do about quality.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And so that it's like, no, we want our people to to care as much as we do. Um and so that's the cool thing.

SPEAKER_02

And I think you'd like we don't we don't want to put people through a meat grinder, you know what I mean? Like we we don't want to have to work five, six hours extra of overtime, you know, split between two people just to pull off the job. Like you don't you don't want to have to do that to people on a consistent basis. My dad said something to me this week, which I thought was pretty profound. He said, make it so that the best way is the easiest way. Build so that the best way to do something or the easiest way to do something is the best way to do it. Like the two have to go hand in hand. So he's like, if you just structure things where the right quality and the right product comes out of whatever production process you have, and it's built so that it is the easiest way. He's like, then your people won't deviate from it. So they won't take shortcuts because the shortcut is the fastest way to quality. So he's like, You you always get the best of both worlds. They're happy, you're happy, nobody's you know, racking their brain during their job all day. So I thought that was pretty cool.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's true. That's really good. And for like for us when we add this, add equipment like this, like for me on the sales side, I'm like, it just gives me a heck of a lot more comfort. Oh, yeah. When I'm like selling this stuff, I'm like, I'm not having nervous in November. Because it's like when when you're when you're selling and you're like, okay, I have a sales goal to hit, and you know, when it comes to the holidays, people love embroidery. You're gonna do in jackets, you're doing more hats, you're doing uh hoodies and polos, you just do a lot more embroidery. And it's like, oh man, I know we already sold this much embroidery, and I have someone being like, Can I add another 300 hats or can I add another thousand hats? And can I get it done in the still the normal turnaround? Yeah.

unknown

Right.

SPEAKER_03

And you're like, yeah, no problem. Yeah, no worries, we'll take care of you. And then we just figure it out. But I'm like, well, now I'm like, I can breathe a little more easy and be like, yeah, we can do it. I can say yeah with more confidence than I could before. Because I'm like, now it's it's not like I'm gonna have to go back and be like, guys, we're gonna have to figure this out.

SPEAKER_02

At one point, Brandon was like, Do you need me to stay? I'll help.

SPEAKER_03

It's okay, Brandon.

SPEAKER_02

Just sell.

SPEAKER_03

Just sell. We're gonna be all right. We will figure this out. Just be a little smarter next time. But we will figure this out.

SPEAKER_02

When our massive order of hats, well, it wasn't one order, it was many orders like accumulation. But when those went out, Christine and I literally just looked at each other and we cried a little because we were like, we did it, we did it, we're done. And I was like, we won't have to do it again. I promise we're gonna get another machine, and we delivered. So that was cool. Thank you, Tiger. Yeah, thank you, Tiger. Her solutions, yeah. You have been a blessing to our business. If you guys need uh a hookup on great embroidered machines, reach out to Tiger. I know I don't know if he's like only isolated to California. If not, he can get you in touch with your rep. But great machines, great people, great company to work with, super straightforward. Love them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, fast delivery. Yeah, we got it, yeah. Uh, and then installed it like right away. It was really good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, amazing, amazing.

SPEAKER_03

I just love our industry. It's really, really fun. Yeah, guys, this has been this has been fun. Okay, so like lightning round as we're recapping this episode and recapping the past, what has felt like months, but it's only been um a month, month and a half. No, not even been a month. It's it's we've we've lived a lot in the past four weeks, a month or so. But so let's go kind of lightning round uh Impressions Expo MVP award goes to who? First person that comes to mind the Impressions Expo MVP.

SPEAKER_02

For me, Dan and Elijah, they are ready to compete in the rock challenge next year. And I think they're gonna have I think they're gonna they're gonna hold their own. They're gonna hold their own. I think watching them realize that they could keep up with that.

SPEAKER_03

They're like, wait, this isn't that hard. This wasn't that hard.

SPEAKER_02

We are excited for them. Yep, yep. So we're excited for them. That's gonna be good.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they're in. We just gotta email and be like, hey, we want to compete.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, let us compete. Yeah, I like that. Okay, Dan.

SPEAKER_04

Most dangerous food choice of this trip was maybe not for me, maybe for Nathan was the Italian food. Because Nathan has some intolerances with acid. Dude Nate's voice was gone. He didn't have a voice. Nate doesn't lose his voice, like rarely enough. I was like making sure Nate, are you are you sure you're okay? He's like, Yeah, it's just I don't have a voice. But by the end, he was it was good. It came back. Uh yeah, those uh those um mozzarella logs were pretty dangerous.

SPEAKER_03

We're so good.

SPEAKER_04

And to to our surprise, there's a there's a burger place that we passed by. We've stayed in that location like two or three times. Oh yeah. And um, we've passed by this place and we were all going to In N Out before we were headed back, and we passed it one more time because we had to go back to the house. And um, I was like, hey, why don't we try this place? Like we've always passed it, it smells good. There's a lot of people out there. Like, let's just everyone turn back around wherever you're at.

SPEAKER_03

So we got a text that was like, not in and out anymore. And they said the window.

SPEAKER_02

We were already at In N Out parked and going in, and they were like, guys, come back. Come back. We're going to the window.

SPEAKER_03

I'm like, all right the window.

SPEAKER_02

This is my favorite.

SPEAKER_04

It's actually Is it the window or the window? The window. I don't know. The window. Everyone, oh, I've looked at all the videos. What we're talking about. And they have multiple locations in LA. They have like a whole bunch of them. Um, but it was a way. Yeah, it's they've they've popped up uh it's the window. The window, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I remember pronouncing it as the window. The window. It is it was good. It's spelt win-dow. But that makes sense. The window's whole concept is like the windows. It actually makes a lot more sense.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah, it was cool.

SPEAKER_03

They do smash burgers and chicken and I've never wanted to do like a food review, but dang, I'm not gonna lie. I took a bunch of videos like this. He thinks about the window every week. Dude, I do. It was so good. I was unpopular opinion, probably, but it ri it rivaled. I I would I'd venture to say and put my hat in the ring that it is better than In and Out. Oh man, I it was so good.

SPEAKER_02

You need to take that right there, snip it out, and post it, and we'll tag them. Our window review.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I think it was a really good burger. It was so good that people went back and ordered more. But what do you think? Because it was so good.

SPEAKER_03

Would you would you not? Oh, okay. Absolutely. It was really good.

SPEAKER_04

We're going back. Just like Buratino's is one of our stops. The window is now one of our stops. It is. We has to be. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was so good.

SPEAKER_04

Fries, shakes, like everything. Shakespeare.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my gosh. I want to go back. Dang. Day trip. Day trip to Long Beach. Let's go Friday. Yeah. We could be back in six hours. Someone go Joe. Go get the window first. That was fun. Okay. Funniest moment in the shop field trip was what? Sarah? For you. Oh gosh. What was the funniest moment in the shop field trip?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. I don't know. I'm probably not a good answer for that.

SPEAKER_04

I was sitting in the office managing everything else while everyone was having fun. And I'm listening to Brandon. He's directed. I'm listening to Brandon tell the story of like, all right, everyone, um, don't get too close because it might cut you in half or something. Like it has cut people. And I was like, Brent, what are you? Why do you say that? And then and then you're like, yeah, these are from Spain. And I'm like, no, they're from Portugal. And like there was like a few things. I was like, uh, well, I'll tell them later. I'll cut them up. But I was just like laughing while he was giving, and it changed every time.

SPEAKER_03

Every every single session simultaneously had to figure out we're figuring out our flow. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

The first time the first session went long, and I was like, oh man, like, is everyone waiting for everyone else to move stations?

SPEAKER_05

I know.

SPEAKER_02

So then I finally was like, I'm initiating, and I just slid the doors open and was like, it's time to change. And Christine's like, perfect, it's time to change.

SPEAKER_03

It's funny. You're right. That actually was. I did I remember because I and I only caught it because little Dan looked at me and was like, like big eyed. I didn't realize I said it like that. But when I was like, make sure you guys stay safe, stay away from these arms because they'll cut you in half. It's happened. And then they let me be like, not here. Not on our happen here. I have heard that it happened. Not on a rocket.

SPEAKER_04

Not on a rock.

SPEAKER_03

And not in our shop. Never. Never. But I guess that was funny.

SPEAKER_02

Safety first partner.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Okay. Lastly, what should we name the new Tejima? It's got names.

SPEAKER_02

I think we should name it Teasy.

SPEAKER_03

Teasy?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. T M Easy. It's easy. And we should call it the Teasy.

SPEAKER_03

The Teasy. Teasy. Easy. I'm thinking Lil Jimmy. The Jima. Little Jimmy. Jimmy the Jima.

SPEAKER_04

Limmy the Jima. Lil Gima. Lil Jima. Lil Jima. I like that.

SPEAKER_02

Lil Jima? It's not little though. It's like the biggest one.

SPEAKER_04

The biggest bad is the one. Maybe little Jimmy. That's bigger, though. That's like an eight-head. It's like when you call someone who's really big, tiny.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. She's like, I still don't agree. I still don't agree with that.

SPEAKER_02

Sure.

SPEAKER_03

That makes sense. That's my hat in the ring. That's my hat in the ring, Jimmy. Jimmy the Jima.

SPEAKER_02

How's your dad gonna feel about that, Dan?

SPEAKER_03

No, not Jim, Jimmy. His dad's Little Jimmy. Lil Jima? Yeah, Lil Jimmy.

SPEAKER_02

Little Jimmy? Gangster. It's like Cooper when he used to write his little Jimmy stories.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's so sweet. Our son loves his papa, and he created a fictional character named Little Jimmy, and he would tell stories. He would make up stories in his head and tell stories about little Jimmy going to the ice cream shop, which is why we created Cooper's Cup. Ice cream coming soon in 2036. Whenever Cooper graduated.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome. Well, do you guys have anything else to add before we close this out?

SPEAKER_04

No, we've got to give a shout out to our official cafecito in Hanford in Merced. And Merced. If you guys haven't tried them out, try them out. They're just it's just wonderful. It's wonderful coffee all around from the matcha to the cafe. From the matcha to the baths. That needs to be a song. We need to chat them a song. Chilequiles on Friday and Saturday. SPEAKER_02

It's also good.

SPEAKER_04

SPEAKER_02
