Happy New Year everybody. Welcome to 2025. And welcome to this very special episode, which is going to be a walking meditation. I love walking meditations because they combine two powerful forms of self-care movement and mindfulness. And walking allows us to feel grounded and energized, while meditation helps calm the mind and bring clarity, and together they're a beautiful way to reconnect with yourself and set intentions for the year ahead. The year ahead and I wanted to give you this gift as my New Year's gift to you so, as we step into 2025, I thought it'd be a wonderful time to try something a little different, something that allows you to move forward physically while also moving forward emotionally and mentally while also moving forward emotionally and mentally. This meditation is designed to help you release stress, connect to your inner strength and step confidently into the parent and person you want to be this year, the parent and person you identify as being this year. We'll also focus on inviting health, abundance and prosperity into your life as you walk into this new year.
Speaker 1:Now, find a quiet, safe place to walk, indoors or outdoors, and let's begin at a comfortable pace as you move. I'll guide you through the meditation. So let's begin as you walk, take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. Feel your feet connect with the ground beneath you With every step. Feel yourself becoming more and more grounded and steady. Notice the rhythm of your steps Right, left, right, left. Let this rhythm calm your mind and anchor you in the present moment. Allow your shoulders to relax and drop. Let your arms swing naturally by your sides. Feel the tension in your body melting away with every step. Say quietly to yourself I am here, I am present, I am calm. As you continue to walk, imagine any stress or worries you're carrying as a heavy weight on your shoulders. With each step, picture that weight becoming lighter. Inhale deeply and as you exhale, say to yourself I release what I cannot control. Feel your body becoming lighter and lighter, step by step, as you let go of tension, guilt and fear. Picture these emotions dissolving into the ground behind you, leaving you free to move forward with clarity and ease.
Speaker 1:Now think about who you want to be this year. Not just what you want to do, but who you want to become. What qualities would you like to embody? Patience, strength, compassion, joy, strength, compassion, joy. Choose one word that resonates deeply with you and repeat it softly to yourself I am patient, strong, compassionate, joyful. As you walk, imagine yourself moving through your day with this quality guiding you. Picture yourself responding to challenges with ease and connecting with your child with love and understanding. Say to yourself I am enough, I am growing into the parent my child needs.
Speaker 1:As you walk, visualize health flowing into every part of your body. Imagine each step infusing your body with vitality and strength. Feel your energy increasing, your mind clearing and your body moving with ease. Now turn your thoughts to abundance. Picture opportunities for growth and prosperity opening up for you. Imagine financial abundance flowing into your life effortlessly. See your family surrounded by the resources you need to thrive emotionally, physically and financially. Say to yourself I welcome health into my life. I am open to receiving abundance. Prosperity flows to me and through me. Feel gratitude for this abundance as though it is already here Now.
Speaker 1:Reflect on a moment when you felt strong and capable. Reflect on a moment when you felt strong and capable. Maybe it was a time when you supported your child through a tough moment, overcame a challenge or took a step toward your goals. Hold that memory in your mind and feel the strength it brings. Let it remind you that you have the resilience and courage to face whatever comes your way. Say to yourself I am resilient, I trust myself, I am strong. Let each step reinforce these affirmations, grounding you in your inner power.
Speaker 1:Now imagine yourself six months from now. See yourself walking confidently, feeling calm, connected and proud of the person and parent you've become. Picture your family thriving, your child or children happy and supported, your home filled with warmth, laughter and joy. Imagine yourself achieving your financial and personal goals, creating a life of balance, health and abundance. With each step, know that this future is within your reach. Say to yourself I am becoming the parent and person I want to be. I am creating a life of health, abundance and joy.
Speaker 1:As you continue walking, take a moment to focus on gratitude. Think of one thing, big or small, that you're grateful for today. Say quietly to yourself I am grateful for, and name your gratitude. Let that feeling of gratitude fill your heart and energize your steps. I am grateful. As your walk comes to an end, let's finish with these affirmations I am strong and capable. I welcome health, abundance and joy. I am enough just as I am. Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale. Feel a deep sense of calm and confidence within you, ready to carry into your day Now. Thank yourself for taking this time to reconnect and reflect. Every step you've taken today is part of the growth and journey as a parent and as a person. Carry this energy with you into the rest of your day and remember growth happens one step at a time.
