Dr. Sonia F. Tan, BA, BA(H), DTCM Dip, DAOM, RAc, RTCMP, is a second-generation Chinese Metaphysician, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, the late Woon-Yew Tan. Sonia is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM degree-USA), a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner. Licensed since 2006, she is also trained in Chinese Face Reading and is a Certified Practitioner of Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology under Master Marlyna Los, with additional training under Master Joseph Yu. Sonia obtained her clinical research doctorate degree from Yo San University of TCM in Los Angeles, California, where she received the DAOM Distinction Award (for excellence in clinical research and clinical didactic work). This doctorate specialized in Integrative Medicine in Healthy Aging and Longevity and her research was on “A novel approach to treating Allergic Rhinitis and its efficacy results.”
