Samantha Curley is an activist and producer whose most recent film, Union, documents a group of Amazon workers that embark on an unprecedented campaign to unionize their warehouse in Staten Island, New York. She shares how the film found its origins in trolling Jeff Bezos's mansion in Beverly Hills, how the crew was both inspired by and part of the activism, and how race and class dynamics come into play when institutional powers attempt to suppress our ability to unite.
