Welcome back guys episode 46 The Trilateral podcast. How's it going? How's it going. It's going It's going We had enough one race over in the island of Japan Yes we did Yeah Oh yeah we did Yeah Good old team McClaren you know We're cleared double double podium They didn't do good Oh yeah they didn't do good yeah these double podiums again what do you know What is that How big deal they didn't win How far I knew they didn't win either We don't talk about one It's irrelevant Yeah I guess you're right If you're first you're last All right side I really like this track not gonna lie I kind of this track It's cool this track is amazing It's uh it's kind of a mainstay track They It's some I kind of it's iconic it's the Cherry blossoms all that stuff going on usually during it Yeah fandoms really fandoms really strong there Um oh yeah they love that shit Pretty And I can't recall where this one ranks in the speed overall But usually pretty fast track It's hard to overtake Um There's only one DRS zone so Really whoever gets pulls Got a high chance of keeping that race You know I think overall if there was no There was no cautions Very clean race no deep just everyone finished the race Um Leading up it was kind of hard I was so we had the Driver swap at Red Bull which I think put a lot of pressure on Yuki but um he didn't really end up doing the greatest but Um He didn't really flounder either though I don't think The I believe McLaren could have taken it but um Hopefully Asco in the pit was pretty wild Yeah, that could have got pretty nasty um Naras Norris almost clipped the wall there Yeah, he uh they I mean what was he thinking though like what I mean Like honestly yeah I would know those like Max or Steppen but like let's be honest. I don't think he was gonna ever Pass him right there so Now they honestly price shouldn't have released team Right and it's a prize it didn't lead to a penalty but They let him race um I don't think yeah there was no penalties Yeah, no penalties during the race Everyone but the last car was on the leading lap You know maybe just slightly different strategy with pits might have landed a little different um You know a couple things out of this race uh And it totally is definitely putting himself in the record books He's the youngest driver to lead the Grand Prix now He beat Max by like three days Wow Also the youngest driver to have the fastest lap uh which Max attempted to Relinquish that one they said he was Pushing it pretty hard the last couple laps Ferrari You know hamson was up to second because the tire strategy but it just didn't work out with laps or with pits Red Bull had good pace McLean's I think we're still faster but they just couldn't get past him Um And lighty said those kind of a tough one no overtake so It is yeah Um I was kind of surprised there was no cautions I was expecting probably swan but Clean race um now leading up it was a little Back and forth during practices uh We had um the one rickie find out what happens when you take a full Field car full drs into that turn you're not gonna make it Um, yeah, that was scary. I'm surprised he That car was even ready for him honestly He destroyed that thing He was feeling it because he he had to be helped out of the car after the race Um That was a pretty high g Impact Yeah, I said that was People's of that crash and that was that was a pretty like he hit that wall pretty hard Yeah Um I would say that is a pretty low key race honestly Um this weekend we're in uh Bahrain Uh 11 a.m 11 a.m race for us Sunday so Don't step too late for that one Like the first normal one yet Yeah Uh, where's that at what you said where at LaRan Bahrain which is in Bahrain Is that You know what country that is on your Uh That's sorry, but you're putting it up for us We don't have to do nothing we're just thinking it is just type in Bahrain international circuit Oxygen Oh, what the country You know that oh Bahrain is a country Well, you know, it's gonna the more you know Another double podium for more clients Oh, bah, okay, I know that I just got this it's it's an island in between Qatar and um I figured okay, y'all for sure Bahrain and Saudi Arabia yeah Just a plan we're gonna see Max Versteppen is not gonna win Clarence gonna do podium I hope he doesn't but There's usually pretty one this you won this race last year has there been a year where I teams podiumed like one team like the same team's podium every single race Probably Every race podiumed probably not I don't think so The Clarence podium in every race so far right Hunter would lack for only think three races is it? Yeah Though on circuit I don't think I mentioned it Our last recording but that um Double uh dina or dq for frar as the first time that's ever happened both cars or dq for the same team Oh, well they saw it Not a record you're gonna have No They suck Hopefully they get their shit together if not there for oh well that's in the water see you But other than that um Clarence off to a strong start um Norris saw his driver's championship cut a little bit with max one in that race but Uh Not by much you took second rate Yeah Maybe I so it'll uh still still anyone's race Honestly at this point Well yeah, it will be a few more or so Charles could still go on a streak and win like you know three races Leading into Monaco win Monaco again so four races in a row Guess who's on top Mm-hmm All right um Actually got March madness Yeah, something like that Was a pretty good championship game Not in and the way we wanted to do but Well, did we even talk about the final four? Yeah, fucking chill out, bro Because I'm getting ahead of yourself man god I thought more than anything special Yeah, it was Um, the order of history was gonna come back in the first first game Florida versus Auburn Hunters team Auburn They lost gonna get it down lost the Florida Was a good game though um Wasn't like a crazy like they didn't go out in two three like they did but um then The upset Houston versus Duke Uh Houston pulled it off. What were they down by or down by six with what it was 37 seconds to go 38 seconds to go Down by about a seven seven. Yeah, still they just they blew it It couldn't just in but all they had to do is inbound the ball and Duke couldn't even do that He used to inbound it. Oh, they made two threes and they tried to inbound it They got the turn over. You got to follow the guys here crazy because when they were first the first inbound They were trying to do it. They were down by seven the Houston guy actually reached over that a balance line and hit the ball was with a technical Really and they got you three throes with a one point and he missed And they got the rebound so Like they got lucky Duke really just choked the last minute that game knew that's marksman this man You got it you got you got to play The entirety of the game you can uh like you gotta just do it you can't give up can't ever stop That's the bright at least I just wanted to more so yeah, that's the tournament Yeah, so then that would lead us to the the Florida versus Houston which That was my championship I loved it they made it that was cool um and one of my brackets at least I know I was actually in two my brackets um Unfortunately the result was pretty ugly Super low scoring game We saw that coming but yeah, I kind of I didn't not my bracket I do I said they were gonna be like 160 some points Houston's defense is too good to be given that much but Florida played good defense too though, well good enough. They had what they had like a 12 point These two teams three though like after like they made more of the only in the first half they were like one Oh, yeah, nobody had me two from eleven three like both teams could not make it three player in the first half Yeah, that was bad First it had to lead by what 12 or they're up by 12 like seven minutes to go something like that And they just their defense kind of collapsed and then Houston or Florida was in some uh blah blah trouble early in the like early in the second they were at like seven or eight days They seven follows or somebody thought first few minutes in the second half I think like five falls in the first like three minutes somebody thought it was crazy They had a lot of falls but then shortly right after that Houston caught up and it was pretty even in follows and there was no advantage there and Houston gives out the 12 point lead. It's like neck and neck game for the last four minutes or whatever it really couldn't even get a game buzzer either so oh Yeah, that was sharp whatever his last name he did the two last possession I don't know what is right no no sharp was his last name Um his last Yeah, he had the ball the last two possessions the first possession he drove it into three Florida defenders Turn the ball over No, he's just trying to drive the hoop and turn the ball over it literally bounced off It's like knee went out about he couldn't grab wild at the very any Couldn't touch the bogs he would have done double dribbles so that was ugly. It's got the easy turnover or so That was bad But as a tournament as much madness unfortunate for Houston. I thought that they were going to be able to do it Um good for Florida. I guess you know, he has been piecing that team together like a puzzle He got a lot of guys, you know some guys from different schools. I know one guy is like from Australia I thought you know, so he pieced it together good coach So what the NIL has come to know so Money talks we're gonna see some good sports. I'm all for it. Let's do it um next big College and talk about will be football so To be right around the corner. We'll see uh, how that goes First game out of the gate first week. Well, how state Texas? So yeah, they'd be well Yeah, they beat Denver and in the second overtime They're leading it one point. Yeah, they tied back Denver came back tired up to two two Two zero on them. So damn billet never come back. Well, it's good. They still pull it off That's huge for western who they played in the finals then uh, it's either See the Penn State or Boston you yeah, which is playing right now. They're playing right now. Yeah No, that's just really awesome. I think western can do it. That would be so sick. Maybe the First like would it be the first national championship in school history at a penny sport What is baby really? I don't know they they were the announcers were saying that it would be like the biggest Accomplishment in program history. I get an off program history in school history. I would think so I know they always had a strong team, but yeah, I don't think they ever Yeah, I've never made it to championship game and for uh No, this is western this is western's first final four two or frozen four damn Free Spill Broncos Yeah, I'm about to bet on the win the whole thing Um Yeah, touch on that then uh I don't know The masters Joe Uh the greatest golf tournament in the world is playing right now one of the sporting events the best sporting events in the world The best televised sporting event in the world talk about just kicking kicking back relax and watching beautiful Beautiful golf on your TV nothing better Here in April What more could you ask for? Um, but yeah the masters on their way um of course The way we bet the way we predict obviously never goes the way the first round ever goes Somebody that we thought when it make the cut is leading the golf tournament. So um That's the masters um We got an exciting weekend Saturday Sundays. Always a lot of fireworks In Augusta, so it should be a lot of fun. Hopefully we got a nice finish I'm hoping for a playoff this year. I want some of the playoffs since 2017. I want something sweaty That would be nice to see if I want I want Three-player playoff. I'd be sick. I want to be like obviously. I mean no matter who did it is big name But it'd be cool to see some really big names in there like Yes, Scotty shop player Rory McAroy and like Bryson, Bryson, D. Shamboh, yeah, maybe nuts Get some like that up there Look at that gallery beautiful Some big names up there, so But shout out Justin Roweman. He's killing it first round Uh, I'm paced right now if he does keep it up could be the oldest player in every one of master so Was he fifty two just who just roses these I don't know He's old. So you wouldn't be the oldest person. No, he's fifty two I don't con Scotty out.
