All right, you welcome back. The Trilateral Podcast episode 56. It's been a minute, but how's it going? It's going. How's it going? How's it going? It's a go win. Cool. Little to catch up on, I guess, with some F1. We can at least go over the results of the last couple of races that we haven't talked about. I haven't really had a chance to really watch the races, but obviously just we keep it up with them. Yeah, I've just been keeping up with results and kind of some of the events going off. Some changes, big changes have happened since we last recorded, but as far as races, we had the Austrian Grand Prix. From what I saw, highlight-wise, it seemed like a fine race. It was specific. I don't think it was this race. I thought it was the next one, but Papaya knocking it out, 1, 2. lando took this one, Oscar, then LeClare took third. Louis was fourth. This one, yes, this is that one. Okay, first turn or within the first couple turns. Yeah, Kimmy took out Max first up and so he didn't even finish. Lab, this is his home race too, so all the fans showed up to watch Max. We're severely disappointed. That's right. So we had six cars on the leading lap. Starting to look a lot like LeClaire. Yeah. I was boring. I was just outside of that. No more, not really any other specifics on this one, other than just McLaren's kick and ass stone. It was nice to see Ferrari up there. That was a good boost for them. Moving on to the next race we had over the 4th of July weekend was the great Britain Grand Prix. Very hopeful. Louis was going to be up there. Yeah. It was a wet race. A lot of things happened during it. Then we had a hell of a surprise podium in the end result, which I was happy for the racer. I think it's what this team is doing and what we're seeing right now is going to be a huge come next season. The team we're talking about is the state team, which is going to be the Audi team next season. What's our engine going to be though? That's not going to be Audi engine's way. That's a good question. Out of the gate, I don't believe so, but I'm pretty sure that the ultimate goal is to have their engine in that car. Yeah, I don't think they plan on. Did you say 4th is going to be a red bull? I stand corrected. No, they will be running their own engine. Audi will be so, yep, that's going to be interesting. So, did you say 4th is going to be coming into F1 and they're going to be in the red bull? Yes, 4th is taking over power plants for the red bull. Next year, or next year. That's next year. I believe it's both red bull teams. Yeah, they will be excliverations per per units to both Oracle Red Bull Racing and AlphaTar. Yeah, so both the Red Bull teams will be running 4 power plants next season. Yeah. Cadillac will be running Ferrari until 2027 and then they'll be running their own power plant. So, yeah, engine, the company is with engines. It's going to grow quite a bit and form the ones. It's not going to be so vivid locked only a few of you. That's going to be cool. Yeah. But yeah, back to British Grand Prix, your podium ended up being Lando, Oscar and Nico Halkenberg. Lewis was 4th. Nico just worked out. It was all about the timing of the race and the conditions. Max had a severe spin-out and lost numerous places. He was able to get back up to 5th. But I think we ended up, yeah, we had 4 DNFs, 14 cars on the leading lap. I do plan on watching both of these races. I just haven't had a chance to just come back into town and then lighted in general being a pain in the ass last week. I haven't got around to it yet. Outside of the races, probably the biggest news, which was just days after the British Grand Prix was Red Bull giving the boot to Christian Horner. He is no longer with Red Bull after 20 years. They were able to replace him within. We'll see how that works out for him. Now the rumor mail is that Horner is potentially looking at buying ownership into the LP team. So I don't think it'll be long before we see him back on the grid. So sounds like Ferrari did some one-off testing on a new rear suspension. They used one of the filming days. I think for either something to do with actual formula one or maybe it was something to do with the Netflix series. But they ended up since they were filming, they went ahead and used the track time for testing these new components. Really? Yeah. Wow. So I would be very curious to see what that brings to the table this weekend. Yeah. Please offer whatever the hell they're doing for town. Yeah, we've got the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend. I think they get the ball rolling there. I don't know if they can even catch them, but still they need to get moving. I think they can secure number two, no problem. You got to do well still. I think one of them could easily take maybe not easily, but I think one of them could easily take three in the drivers championship. Yeah. I think Max is probably going to continue to slip back. Driver Cadillac is getting pretty close. Perez, I believe finalized his contract and then right now it sounds like it's between Valtteri Bowtas and Mick Schumacher. So, yeah, those sound to be appear to be the front runners. So I hope it's Valtteri. I think Perez and Valtteri would be a hell of a talent pool for a new brand new team. I could see that really work into their advantage just having that much experience on a first team. Yeah, for your first year, if hell it could be like the formula one movie maybe, you never know. Were those guys who just, you know, they're both older, right? Valtteri's not as old. Sergio is on the older side, but experience wise, there's just lots of talent. A lot of talent there. Both drivers could be championship drivers. There's no doubt in my mind there. They just have to be in the right car. So, as be consistent. Yeah. And everyone's going to be on a level playing field next year with the new car regulations. So, if anything, Cadillac might be have a hand up because they don't have to worry about developing an existing car. They can start with those new specs and just run with it. You know, the team is already developing for next year with the new regulations. Please, that could be happy, right? Yeah, as Hummer have definitely shifted and they're just like, you know, the season is what it is. Summer's still developing for the season. Yeah. But it does look like so Honda will still be providing power plants to, oh, it looks like they're partnering with Aston Martin. Really? Yeah. So, they won't be off the grid. So, I guess who makes Aston Martin? Who's Aston Martin's car company? I believe they're running for Raris right now, I feel. I'm excited for that Audi one. I think they're going to make it a top contender too. Really? Yeah. What's that going to happen? That'll next year video after. No, they're starting right off with their engine next year. So, you. That's going to be exciting. But other than that, looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend, I think that covers F1 for now. We, I know we got a lot of stuff happening in the NFL right now. F1 has got the T-M, that. Yeah. I didn't realize how much is happening back to the other squad, but there's a lot of people, a lot of, unfortunately, a lot of news about people are already going down, man, having injuries for the season. Yeah. I know this happens every year, but like, it's still unfortunate that like, how do we allow this? That's still happening for like professional athletes. But so, starting off, we'll go over to that just recently retired, officially F1 now. They had the big one with Philip Rivers, tiring with the, it was a charge, right? Yeah. I worked with the Chargers. That was a pretty cool video. I think it wasn't like, they showed the video, then like his old teammate walked in behind them. They did. I didn't see the video. Yeah, there was a video with them. I think it was his older teammates that came in and did still ready with them, but he didn't know they were coming. No, it was cool. It was a pretty cool heartfelt video. One really threw me off, but Tyra on Matthew, from the Saints. Really? Yeah. That was a little surprised by that one. He was 133, I think, 32, 33. And usually, the Saints used him rocket for a while. They used it, they're rocking it until their mid 30s. Yeah. But it was the corner back there. Yeah, corner. Yeah, I was a corner. Or corner. Yeah. So, um, that he retired right before camp started. And then another one, I mean, I'm not surprised, but just the story behind it is filed a Jimmy Graham retired officially with the Saints. But he also just went on a huge expedition, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. We traveled a 600 mile journey from, it was all rowing, all in the water, the Arctic Ocean, from Thromzo to Longyear bin in 10 days, which broke the record by five days for the most row. In that amount of time, I was him and, you know, they used this big boat they could like, sleep on and stuff like that. But they rode those or rode, but they thought he was like, ors and stuff. Wow. It was a team thing, yeah. Yeah. And they also raised a bunch of money for some type of charity over in New Orleans. So, then he had, after right after that trip, he pretty much officially retired. Yeah. So, he'd per him. Going on to some punishment news, I thought the big names they're tired, yeah. So, recently, obviously we had the ones earlier in the year, but recently those were the big ones. So, recent news with people doing some, not so great thing, we don't have to feel, people doing some badge, shit. Yeah. So, Quinson, Junkins, the guy, Rookie, that was drafted this year by the Frowns, was charged with domestic violence and a battery charge. They ruled that a misdemeanor for now, the $2,500 bond, he still is not signed his contract. I'm pretty sure, and I'm pretty sure he's still is not, he is not reported to any training camp at all. What a dull job. They're being really careful about this whole situation, obviously the Frowns are, which they're finally being careful of something, so I guess, props to them. They had experience. So, yeah, so that's why they drafted all those running backs in the draft this year. But, yep. So, he, he has not signed a Rookie contract, and I'm not reporting any training camp. So, that should be interesting to see what happens there, and see if, I mean, if it's them ruling only at misdemeanor, he'll probably just get a couple games as mentioned. But, next one is Rashi Rides from the Chiefs. Rashi Rides was facing consequences for a high-speed car crash in Dallas, which happened, and pretty sure earlier in the year, I don't know, happened in March of 2024, so over a year ago, more than over a year ago, and he was sent, he was sent into five years probation, but also he has to serve 30 days in jail, sometime in those five years of probation. So, he had not been given his punishment yet, but there's taken anywhere from three to five games suspension. That's it, that's great. Or the NFL, so. But, he's actually in the city, Rashi Rides news. Yeah, that's the big one. Those are the two only big ones that's from punishment-wise, that get in trouble recently. Moving on, we got some TJWat signing his contract. Got a three-year extension worth $123 million, $108 of it guaranteed, making them the highest paid nine quarterback in the NFL. That's the same. Well deserved, too. Yep. I don't know, I'll probably won it last long. I'm sure one of these other defensive guys will sign a bigger contract sooner, but he has handed down five of the best defense players. Yeah, he deserved it. I'm glad we paid him. We didn't lose him. So, all are also included in a $40 million signing bonus. And that's a good deal. So, yeah, so make over $41 million a year. Pretty huge news for him. Moving on to some injuries already happening. We had Arty Burns, the corner, one of the corners for Lamy Dothan's looks like he already tore his ACL. That was another one. Then another big one that I have today, Justin Fields was carted off the- Justin Fields was carted off the field. Turned down, it was due to a dislocated toe. So, he's going to be day to day. I feel like I'm at the dislocated toe getting carted off the field a little, uh, seems a bit much. Yeah, a little too much, but they definitely played it out. They're freaking out a lot worse online. Like the New York Post everything was posted about this, like right after it happened and all of them, the being was just a dislocated toe. And now they're already saying they're saying like all the jets are going to trade for one of these veteran quarterbacks on their team. They're saying other Kurt Cousins, their Carson Wands, or all of this, all over the world. I can see somebody thinking like Kurt Cousin. Yeah, they have to pick up his contract. So, they still, they thought the family $80 million. So, all of you have that needs somebody to start. I think I would like see Kurt Cousins, they'll start, but yeah, that was kind of a little, uh, I don't know, it'll be day to day, but they said nothing significant. Me and Jerry was just a minor injury. So, which is pretty good for them. So, I'm carrying out, yeah. That's what I said, I just carted off the fields, yeah. I said, I seem a little much for a dislocated toe. But that's the bigger news I have right now. I guess some other news, I guess the giants have announced that Russell Wilson is planning to be their QB1. So, okay, if they're obviously rerolling with him, I wasn't surprised on that. I feel like we'll see how long I'll ask before Jackson, dark. Yeah, it's going to get the chance. It's in the same situation with their running back. It sounds like Tyrone Tracy is going to be their starter, but that could change any week. So, that new Kim Skatiboo could easily take over as well. Damn, I forgot, Kim Skatiboo went through the giants. That's some good rookies right there. News from Buffalo looks like James Cook is still not too happy with the contract situation, but he's still, you know, focusing on football and just pretty much saying it'll come eventually. So, hopefully he seems to be focusing on football, but he's still in the back of his mind. He's still wants that contract, obviously. Yo, listen, you better to get that money. You do good this year. You get paid little buddy. Yep. Make sure I bring that super home and I'm sure they'll take care of it. Oh, you'll be paid pretty good dog, and you will have to go to No War. Damn. Yeah, Torres ACL was confirmed. Oh shit. Yeah, he's just signed with them this off season too. Yeah. Arty, had heard that Boso was having some issues too. Really? First couple days. Yeah. So there was speculation that might be, uh, they didn't really say it wasn't the health here, but he did have some injury issues in the past. So there was some concerned rumors, but other than that, it seemed to everything else was decent on the bills from bringing back the red helmet. Yeah, like that. I always got a lot. Yeah. I think it's only for one game, but, um, I think it's the last home game they're doing. Right back the red helmet, the old Navy. Yeah. So the last week, they're playing home. And I think they're doing a uniform change for one or two games with the, um, old school buffalo. Do you see Pittsburgh throwback Jersey? They brought back? I didn't think it looked horrible. I thought it looked better than those damn stripes. I mean, it's the stripe should just vertical instead of horizontal. Yeah. Oh, no, I kind of wish they would have done something more like their older throwback where they just have like the black helmets and like the bolder numbers like all black jerseys with the white numbers and the white outline and like the white pants. I think they could have done something cool with that. So, but I get it. Yeah, I don't think it looks that moves that bad, but they're okay. Yeah, I know. I'm not sure what lineup is other than the red helmet. We gotta figure out some games. I mean, obviously buffaloed Pittsburgh, the clay, in Pittsburgh. Yeah.
