All right welcome back episode 62 The Trilateral podcast with the boys. What's up guys? How's it going? Thursday night watching some football Football every day. Yeah Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Monday Saw something something about like Doing like the football season or like that like your girl can't ask you to do anything Thursday Friday Saturday something Monday, but Tuesday Wednesday's free game. Yeah, I don't know those two Wednesday you're preparing for it though Yeah, Wednesday's preparation day, so My god, we might have to wait till February There's a lot of I saw quite a few memes of Husband's boyfriend's putting in a notice for the season at least so Mid-Fabuary My weekends are booked Sir, yes, before we get into talking about some football. I know we're eager. We had a race though F1 race. Yes Where'd you see was that again? Italy it's Monsa the auto-drome national and Monsa the fastest track on the current current schedule and It is the only track to actually host Every formula one history so it was 75 years of Monsa this last race so really You know Dude this guy is fucking feel-go-holy shit Ain't no way Damn He had the distance, you know lose points from this and now all right, but only an extra place. That was was nuts That was a long You watching us who Yeah, that was crazy. I really are he had the distance. Yeah, he just didn't All right, it's for the angle for but yeah, 75 years of Monsa. Oh, yeah The so qualifying Hopefully I don't butcher the verb it here, but it was the fastest I think it was the fastest speed For qualifying ever so Max got a pull for this race The Moving into the race itself first lap was a little crazy Max ended up leaving the track gaining advantage so his team called him to take the spot back or give the spot back To avoid any sort of penalty really Yeah because the qualifying it was Max Lando Oscar and Max got ahead of anybody he ended up taking head to take the cut the corner Couple people had to on that first lap But He ended up giving the spot back a few laps went on he got it back pretty quickly Then Pastery ran Lando down That was Kind of the race for the most part as far as positioning Max did pit before the McLaren's Honestly So Pastery had to lead there for quite some time McLaren's didn't come in to pit until lap Want to say was 10 really it should have They probably should have double stacked or They should have done something different they kind of honestly I think they could have won this race potentially But They pitted Pastery first he came out ahead of Versteppen Or no he came behind Versteppen but he came in before with Claire so he was able to fin him off And then Lando came in the next lap while they screwed the pooch on the Driver-side front and ended up being like almost a six second pit Which is crazy slow for forming the one So that put him in a pretty shitty position so Pastery actually came out No Or he came out behind Pastery Well about a lap or two came on and they ended up Papaya rules and they told Pastery to give the position back Jesus he wasn't too happy about that because It wasn't due to There was no it was just an error that happened and he said you know a slow pit stop Is a slow pit stop guys what's changed that what that's not what we discussed so there was a little Team orders playing in the fact there um That wasn't great for Pastery but It is what it is there So your podium was max Lando Pastery and then Ferrari four and five Ferrari didn't look horrible You know Lewis actually gained quite a few spots and Got back up there Outside of that it was pretty damn clean race Um Don't think here we had no costumes Actually, I take that back Charles was fourth Lewis was six Really um, yeah, oh Yeah, you I think Charles got podium even Charles gonna for the seal No, they didn't look bad, but Yes, you got third Yeah, Paster got third guaranteed second bird You know max ended up being 19 seconds ahead of Lando so Max is fast as fuck They could have honestly if they didn't have to you know, it wasn't mandatory to take a pit stop they could have Went on the tires the whole race They're on mediums Very it's a very quick lap very quick race. This is that it was actually the shortest at one race ever full length so Prior record holder for that was shoe marker Michael shoe marker So if we're stepping at it is a name to another record there But they looked it was like the old red bull Yeah, it's crazy how much faster they were Outside of that we had one DnS Nico Hall can bird didn't even make it through the formation lap you had to retire Sound like a hydraulic failure or something So he didn't even start the race Fernando was actually doing quite well. He was in the top 10 His rear suspension broke All he did was go over the curve a certain way and it snapped so He made it back into the pits, but he had to retire see then We had 14 cars on the leading lap only four were actually left Outside of that pretty clean race No, a lot of midfield overtaking and stuff, you know the front was the front It'd been nice to see trials compete a little more, but just didn't work out that way Maybe a little different pit strategy. I could see FIA making this a mandatory two pit stops next season just to add a little more Labor to the race. Let me ask this would have been any type of strategy to like Take your pit within like the first like two or three laps It might have worked for an undercut in long haul That's what I'm saying You know McClan pric could have benefited from from a scenario like that Looking back at it Like if they would have done like Started on soft And just rode the piss out of it and then came in like You know lap 10 5 or 10 and then put on mediums. Yeah, they could have went the entire race Like I said, they could have went on the tire race on mediums which It's a little crazy just compared to how some of the tracks eat the tires up You know majority of the field fell between that 27 to 40 mid 40s lap time frame Esteban Akon actually came in The last second to last lap Yeah, he did 51 left 51 laps on those tires Racing bulls did an early or early pit they did want to lap nine So yeah, you could have definitely benefited from That that's probably where I'm or say he's kind of did a little better because they came in like in the 20s I Just like Like you said you could have done that rode the piss out of soft for like 10 12 15 laps You know tired toward a more torn up, you know, I mean then come in get the mediums Yeah, you could have really forced them you know because I'm a clarin something that however they have their car set up their tire management Is amazing like their tires last Where if you look back at some of the footage max Actually had blisters On his on some of his front ones Yeah, the max was pushing it probably harder He was you know, he had a hell of a hell of a gap on it But that car just eats him up more because he came in on He came in 10 laps earlier than The McClarins so I Could definitely see I'm doing two pit on this right race, which is gonna make it a lot more interesting It slowed down to just since it's such a fast track Yeah But um overall pretty clean race not quite what I expect of this one, but not surprising either Looking ahead We have Don't have a race this weekend The next one will be Oh As you're by Jean so we're back in the middle east A little more well around the track. You played really good against Eagles You Fuck the Giants So that's sweet. Well next we got Chicago traveling Detroit. I mean Chicago look good those first three quarters and then choked it out and then Detroit looked pretty rough um I'm gonna I'm gonna give it to Detroit. I think it's gonna be a lot closer in people thinking even though it's in Detroit It's Detroit all the way so the Bears yeah, I'm going to probably could be a close game but No faith in the Bears so in real is ten and oh Right now against the spread after a loss It's good and they're favorite by what five and a half so yeah, they're predicting them to one of So um, yeah, so that's the sweep there next game. We got new England traveling to Miami This game I mean I think it could be another close one. I mean both teams were not that impressive I think we've lived a little better than Miami But I guess I should be interested. I'm gonna go in New England though On the road. Huh, so we split on that one. We next game. We got Sam Fran traveling to New Orleans um Here interesting game with all Sam friends injuries. He got Mac Jones starting So the we still got CMC New Orleans, you know, they don't look like anything special So um, I'm actually gonna take just basically off their defense that looks pretty good I'm gonna take Sam Fran and Mac Jones getting it done Hmm after finding out about all the injuries I Um I probably think that's also San Francisco as well. I don't think Mac Jones is a bad quarterback I think Mac Jones is still better than Spencer Redler I would agree with that Yeah, and they're gonna have to do some adjusting too You know With a different quarterback. So I think 49ers might have the edge in that regard even though they're dealing with injuries I think CMC you guys see the ball a lot So yeah 49ers All right, that's a sweep there um next game after that we got Buffalo Traveling to MetLife Both teams obviously played really good. We've won defenses on both sides both teams that looked the greatest Um off those guys stop that run with Justin Fields. They can't stop him that game could be another high scoring one um, so I think that What that part though? So The team looks a little yeah Give me a r a baby. Let's do it Pittsburgh all the way Yeah All right another sweet Uh next game we got the Rams traveling Tennessee. I'm taking the Rams Rams Tennessee looks they looked very really disappointing. Yeah Tennessee looks like shit take them yes, right ramps. All right sweet. All right next game We got Carolina traveling to Arizona. Uh, I think Arizona is the easy pick here. I think Carolina also look kind of rough Arizona Arizona last either, but and I just I don't know I just got to I'm just gonna take Arizona. I just think they're a little bit better They're a lot better so Yeah Not another sweet next game. This could be a good one. Denver, traveling to Indy Think it'll be a harder challenge for Indy for sure Um definitely a close scoring game though. I can see I think this could be pretty close scoring too with both deep ounces the way they played I'm gonna give Denver the edge though. I think They'll work on some of their kinks they had and they they'll pull it off taking any apples But they've got it close game at home Yes, there's gonna be a good one Start guys Make up Broncos On that one next one we got rematch the Super Bowl. We got Philly traveling to Kansas City Um Kansas City the only both are starting receiver and it sounds like Worthy might play still this week. I don't think he will but they're saying he's not fishy ruled out Um Then yeah, obviously rice still being out But hey, yeah, I'm gonna give it to Philly Philly just looked a lot better and I think it'll be a you know a high scoring game, but I'm gonna take Philly I think yeah, he just looks like crazy this year again Can you feel it? I think both teams obviously played good um Only thing news-wise for this game is I'm pretty sure JJ has not been at practice all week I'm pretty sure his kid was expected today. I think the kid was born So he's not been at practice all week, so I don't know if that's really gonna throw his game off too much Um, having his kid and everything like that so Who is JJ the quarterback from Minnesota? Oh really So that was in the news so But I think of him Yeah, fighting is just a little Well, I guess he okay, he was practicing he left practice today, so He did practice this week, so But he did leave practice today to go with his fiance Um, but I mean, I think I don't know I think it's gonna be a bounce back game for Atlanta honestly I think they played really good even though they did an applause in Tampa Bay But I think Tampa Bay is a really good team compared to the Bears So I'm gonna give it to Atlanta I'm gonna go with Minnesota Yeah Minnesota looked really good. I think they come out. They still look good I think I'd be keep those momentum from the later quarters, so They could be pretty good uh Pretty good outfit Okay The split um first Monday night games we have two Monday night games this week. Love it So we got a six oh We have Monday night first one. We got Tampa Bay traveling to Houston Um, I don't think Houston was that impressive. I think they're off and struggle a lot You believe that so I have a base yeah, 10 bays actually underdog right after winning which is surprising I get there away, but in Tampa Bay, pretty good.
