All right college football play offs were on the semi finals all this versus Miami Indiana versus Oregon we got the Chick-fil-A peach bull for Oregon Indiana we got the what is this shit the verb. Well fiesta bull I was wrong on that one so then what's the other one cotton bowl cotton bowl. All right so then fiesta bull England. They'll actually going on right now as we record started the third quarter third quarter taking right how we think of the college football play so far guys I know our brackets mean hunter bracket is fucked up Chris I know the bracket is like what perfect. I don't know was your championship Indiana and Ole Miss yeah so you have a chance so like did you have Oregon beating like did you have Oregon beaten Texas Tech yes I had Oregon progressing pass yeah to where they are you know how state beating. Miami though right yeah the Miami one was what I I didn't have the teams that I picked for this point other than Miami or there yes it's three out of your four teams that's pretty good. I'm pretty sure like only team I'm pretty sure still left in Miami be Oregon and Indiana. So you. Rough but no I think it's pretty good I mean like I said some games you see the whole first week by still kind of being a disadvantage one one. First team ever which was the Indiana Indiana and they looked good they obviously shows that they were you know practicing and taking a serious and really. Showed like back and down this seems like teams that take that first round by man like like they say this is slow they're not playing like but see that's why football that coach is seen that he is he's a real deal. He's he all you do is doing the simple fundamentals which tell you got to do you guys keep your team in line so no he's a real deal so. But some interesting I wonder what's going to happen with him there's going to always be this is going to be the year of the what if for playoffs for some teams but. I think this playoff could have been even better but hopefully that all changes next year. I think it will after what happened with this year was all the people still the team sitting out and all the lost shit to the mind from those what are you talking about like the structure of the playoffs. Yeah just how they're letting teams in how teams get in they got those certain teams that definitely should not have gotten mostly being you know yeah you. They're gonna have to be back there should be two more better teams in. For sure I think it would have made for more interesting but the also the reason why they went to 12 man do is so that those types of schools could get in. But it should be the 12 best teams in all of college should be the 12 best teams in all college football agree with you 112 like 110% so I'm going to say 112% so. Who knows we'll see we shall see but I said it's looking pretty good you know all these I think this game is obviously close but I think the Niano organ games going to be a good game so give me really good game I think it's going to be close on people think it is. I think it was a really close game when they played in the regular season right it was like a touch known or 10 within 10 points now is a new geno pretty sure it wasn't in Bloomington yeah so. It might have been even closer it might have been like a 4 point game I was close was that the one that Niano one last second or was that that was a house state right. What's the one in the end of one last second when they threw it in the touchdown there was a house state okay I can remember if that was that game or the organ game. That was the big 10 championship was that was the big 10 championship though that was crazy that was yeah that's what really Mendoza one of the highs because of that game so I think if they lose that game I don't think he wins his. And we talked about this in another episode I feel like yeah I don't know if. Who else would have won fucking highs when bro and supporting second to the votes wasn't a second place the Vanderbilt quarterback wasn't I think he was second in vote voting. And then yeah you probably would have won. I mean he's that crazy here too I don't really care for the guy he's kind of a there's attitudes not the greatest but he did have a great year in Vanderbilt did blow up I don't know where kind of SEC to you. Yeah just current game in the game tomorrow really about it right now. You already well moving on to talk about week 18 final regular season week for NFL last week. Pretty I mean definitely uneventful to start but holy shit talk about it and not a bang. We'll get into that though but start with the Buffalo game was cool to see last you know kind of emotional. What would you say was 30,000 people showed up just like tailgate. There's like a lot of people they didn't show up just like they showed up just to be outside the stadium being part of the atmosphere. Yeah so that'd be pretty sweet. But Josh got to go out and do the one the first one snap just to keep his record for the consecutive starts. Yeah I mean I respect that and then cook ended up winning most rushing yards still right. Yeah you have the most rushing yards and you know right now so I was worried so my thought Henry wasn't a catch from the start of that game. You have what 60 something yards and still before half times. Yeah we still had to put up 150 again. You guys defense out of it pretty tough to do. Yeah it's very tough. Interesting game to know. What was it? Most offensive rushing yards and touchdowns in the NFL. They've been almost at the triple crown for the right back so. Well that was that's team total team but he had the yards. I don't think he had the touchdowns but Josh almost probably had to be dead. But definitely worth the money this year. Yeah I think he's going to be good for you guys the next few years so I better. Some interesting games though because the first two games. Yeah I had all the same friend and Caroline and Tampa Bay the first songs that I've ever met. That sucks for Tampa Bay winning that game and Tampa Bay won the game. They were like in the playoffs they're fantasy. I had no idea. Were we saying that it was in Tampa Bay one day? I thought it was too I didn't realize that it was going to be decided on the backs of Atlanta and. Saints. That's crazy that Tampa Bay when I did all that and then Atlanta goes in there and just beats him and Baker just can't do anything but watch it happen from his. On home. So his interview is pretty funny at the end of his game where he's a. That's what the number one team. What? That's what they they had to go to it they had to go to the fourth. Fourth breaker fourth tie breaker. Rule for the number one seed. It was. Record was the same they didn't play each other so I didn't count. Record against divisional teams. That was the same game. It went to their head up their head to head matchups. Who they won against that's how Denver secured the number one seed. Yeah. Wow. It's pretty wild. They come to that song. It was just good that the last week had a lot of games like that on the line where stuff could have changed on like what three or four different games. Yeah, but that's awesome. That's crazy. But Seattle they took care of business. Yeah securing that first seed. I mean they looked dominant so. They just look good. The weirdest one though was with Chicago losing against Detroit. Philly had a chance to move up from the three spots to the two spot but they still chose to bench their people. I thought it was a wild. No, they played the afternoon pretty sure they played the afternoon. They played the four o'clock in Chicago and you throw it with the one o'clock. So. Even then though like that's still still wild that they started a chance and they still benched everyone. It's going to be really questionable because even moving up to the three seed to the two seed's a huge deal for home field advantage and play off later on. So. I don't know if they'll see if that comes and bite some the ass later on to get to play a certain other teams so. But. And then yeah. Pretty much good games you know a lot of people benching their people in a lot of other games but then. Sunday night man that was a wicked game. Yeah pretty quiet. That first half that first half was not great for Pittsburgh at all. It looked like there's going to run on the whole entire time. Like I said Derek Henry was close to like 75 AD yards before half time. So he was running the ball out first play the game out of 45 yard run. Thankfully it got half it got called back for the block in the back but still. That was a really bad way to start the game. But then yeah we got lucky because you know they don't have Justin Tucker anymore obviously they have a rookie kicker and. He chokes last second 44 yard field goal should be automatic for most kickers and he missed it way right. Snap was good old was good and he just booted it way right. That was insane. So. Very very lucky. And that game. It fits for one of the division so. Huge huge. I think Pittsburgh deserved to win the when the division you guys went through it this year so. Yeah. If any other team you guys in that division at least you guys were the most consistent I felt like. We just almost blew up. I mean we shouldn't have come to that we should have locked it up against Cleveland the week before but. We still stuck it through and. Did good that defense showed up to having TJ back with massive getting a pick in the game his first game back was huge. I think your guys is the offense is better than Texans defense so we had a cam Heyward had a pick six. So that was huge so. The pick six or a fumble recover I forget when it was one or the other but. Can't remember if you bottled that might have been a fumble recovery. I was a sleep member. Well you I you woke up when they missed the field got the answer. I made sure everyone in the whole neighborhood woke up after that. But that was a great game great game down the regular season so Chris Collins worth was speechless. Even better. Aaron Rodger dude you know they attempt trying to during the whole game they're pretty much trying to get him at the end of the interview is like oh it's just your last ride and all these. Trying to get to the next game. He's a. He's also in Roger just the same way the type of guy that's going to like say like I was just final ride. It's like the type of guy is like to go off and win a Super Bowl and then be like all right I think we played or I think it's time to hang it up. But it's going to cloud in the Super Bowl. Do you guys saw I know record wise for all three of us seems like Logan wanted to get in this year best record. It came close though. I really won game was like 20 game difference this year you said. Yeah you had 20 more law you had 20 more loss this year to break the last year. That's crazy. My record was the exact same besides instead of one more loss I had a tie so thankfully that saved me so I was barely better record but same amount of wins. I was yours. So what did end up being my Logan's final record. Let me pull it back up so my final record this year was 172 98 and one Logan was 173 97 and one even by one win. Mine is 168 102. 161. You had your last year one at all and you'd not keep dragging that last year one. I probably do but it's in a different notebook. You think you did better or worse this year. Probably about close to the same or. I would say I'm probably pretty close I don't think it would have been much worse. Crazy improvement shouldn't have been much worse I wouldn't think. Yeah so how we were all within what yeah. Us 10 10 wins from each other so that's pretty good. So yeah that's told me where last year I said Logan had his beat by least 20 plus wins so the blow out last year. So yeah I don't know what was different this year. You just had some good weeks last year. There's been there's just a lot of create especially early on this year. There's some crazy ass weeks. There's some teams to the shoot ever just surprising. Yeah you're not Rob. Already then you guys have anything else for week 18. I don't know it's over. Good regular season playoff time. It's just a great time we get the final. Couple final few days of college football playoff which is kind of it's okay whatever. Then we got NFL playoffs the real shit so. I figured we'd go through and do our own playoff brackets that's playoff brackets are all set. So the NFL playoffs. You think about all right what we got here we got we got college football playoffs. Yeah cool we got. The World Series got you know hockey got NBA finals. Yeah the out all that kind of stuff. The NFL playoffs dude. I guess a sporting events like obviously I'm not counting it counting playoff wise. There's a few events but like NFL playoffs is definitely the best playoff structure and playoff. I look forward to every year every I love the NFL playoffs. Like I would like I love the NFL playoffs but like it becomes to just the one sporting event. Yeah it's supposed up there but you still got other ones outside of football too. Like I think I put the masters up there still. I think I think I put it over the Super Bowl most just because it's a four day event. Yeah but if you're choosing the whole structure. Yes NFL playoffs is the best structure. Yes like it's better than the old supporting. But yes the NFL playoffs is this best time the mecca. All right. What do we got here? So I figured you guys we'd all just go through into our own brackets. I mean you guys I don't know if you guys we just doing wildcard week or we're doing the whole. I was thinking we do our whole prediction. We're doing a bracket. Yeah we do a whole bracket go through into our whole bracket. I have a bracket but I can just tell you I mean fuck. You don't have to look up your bracket so you can move the teams around as well. It'd be NFL predict playoff games just do NFL playoff bracket predictor. Honestly I think this year the playoffs would looking at all the teams and all that I think this is going to be a very interesting. Like usually every year there's always those few games you're like oh yeah this is a lock this is a lock this is a lock but like. There only might be one game this entire wildcard weekend that's a lock. You're all the rest you're kind of all in the air up in the air. Which is good. That's which should be. So starting with the FC. Chargers of the Patriots. I'm hoping for this to go a certain way so I'm not going to go full numbers. I'm just kind of pick what I feel is going to be the best. Senior for my team so I'm going to pick the chargers for that one. Hello. Builds the Jags. I am going to pick the bills obviously. And then hopeful for a. Steelers bills match up. I want Steelers to take out Houston. Green Bay at Bears. Another rerun. Third time this year. Yeah. Yeah but they've been doing this a lot. This is a third time in a row that the Packers have been the seventh seed in the playoffs. Yeah. I look forward to those being the seventh seed. You know what? I'm going to go green Bay. All Z. San Francisco at Philly. San Francisco. That's probably. That's definitely the easiest pick out of that whole grouping. Next one. I either team. I wouldn't hate it. I'm kind of pulling for staff for a little bit in that. So I'm going LA. Okay. So all the way teams. I'm picking the NFC. Going into the divisional round for the AFC. Yeah. I just don't think Denver. I just don't think Denver's maturities there for this stage. They had a great season. I love the coach, but I just don't think it's there for them. Yeah. And Buffalo picksburg. A little rematch of what we saw this season back in Pittsburgh. I'm sure it'll be. A little more lightning. Thunder in there, but a. Buffalo is going to take care of business. Division of NFC round. Green Bay out at Seattle. Think it's Seattle. Probably take this one. San Francisco LA. Good matchup. I'm going to say LA. So aFC championship. One more game in that fucking stadium. Buffalo take Buffalo take to one more fucking game in that stadium. That's the only way it would happen to you. That stadium would be fucking lit. And that's when that game you know what? And I think they've had it easy route the whole way. And. I don't think that's the right way. I think that's the right way. But the first game that I've done is. Yeah. New coach to a lot of new players, young players. It's the experience he's going to catch up. And I think the floor can find a way around them. And I think they also got exposed last week against Detroit when they played all their starters in Detroit. So I'm going to take Green Bay. Question. And I think this goes for the AFC number two seed. Do you get a little bit of poser vibe? Those two teams? Both two seed. We haven't. Yeah. That they just kind of maybe. Yeah, they showed up. I would say New England is more of a poser than Chicago. I think Chicago's key to other teams. Chicago, what beat Detroit both times this year? Or no, one time. No, one one of the ones that Detroit are pretty sure. I was really. They lose both times. Detroit. But Chicago has beat better teams. I think how is it? How is it tiered as extremely in the playoffs? Like I said, if I had to see those two those Chicago New England, I would take Chicago probably because I don't really think like, don't going to draw a love Drake May and Vray Bull, but rest of that New England team is very questionable. So I'm going to take Green Bay of the way in Chicago and then moving in to San Fran at the Billy. I unfortunately fully disagree with you Chris. I think I think Philly is going to roll over. San Fran in this game. I think they're going to show up and I think say quans is going to carry this game and just run over that defense. That defense is very injury prone still. And. It's in Philly. It's going to be freezing. So I think San Fran is going to have a rude awakening going into Philly. So I'm going to take Philly in that game. And then. The Rams at Panthers. This is one game. I think the easy pick is the Rams. So I'm going to take the Rams. But if the Panthers win, I don't mind being wrong. So. I would love to see the Panthers win personally, but. I'm going to take the Rams. Because they are the better team overall. And then we move into the divisional for the AFC. We got chargers at Denver. I'm going to take Denver by I think this game is going to be very close. Denver's got the better defense. They got the better. I still think they have a better coach Denver does. I think charges have the better quarterback. I don't think Bo next is he's done good, but. This will be a good test for him. For the later in the playoff. So. I think it'll be a close game. I think Denver will pull it out. If it would be in if it was that charger, I'd give it the chargers, but since it's in Denver, I'll give it to Denver. Then we got. Buffalo going to Pittsburgh. I. I'm going to go with Buffalo in this one. I would love to see Pittsburgh obviously. And I'd love to be wrong about that one. But statistically wise, Buffalo was just played better football. Overall, the Pittsburgh unfortunately. So. But I guess I'm wrong about one. I'm not going to be wrong. I'm not going to be wrong. I'm not going to be wrong. But I guess I'm wrong in that one. Love it. I'll be okay with it. But I'm going to give it to Buffalo against Pittsburgh. So then next for NFC division. I got green Bay Seattle. I think Seattle wins this one easily. I think green Bay doesn't stand a chance going to Seattle. So give me Seattle and then we got the Rams going to Philly. Again, I think Philly is going to roll over the Rams. I think the Rams are going to have a real awakening going into Philly. I think staff is going to struggle playing outside in that cold. Being used to playing in LA most of the time in the season. So. I think it's going to be they're going to try to rely on the running game. And Philly's defense thing don't let it happen. And Philly is just going to run all over them because Rams defense has been exposed many times this year. So I'm going to take Philly for that game. So my conference championship for the AFC. I got Buffalo going to Denver. I think it's going to be a good game. Really close game. I'm going to give it to Buffalo. Pulling it out last second. And then NFC championship. I got Philly going to Seattle. This game I've pondered on for a long time because I think this is a great game for the NFC championship. But I really just want Donald to get a shot. So I might take Seattle. So I mean my Super Bowl is Buffalo against Seattle. And I think it's going to be a really good Super Bowl that we've had in a long time. And I think Buffalo walks in there wanting it. And I think Buffalo wins it by at least a touchdown if not more. So I'm going to take Buffalo as the champions this year against Seattle. That's what I got for my Super Bowl. All right. Patriots untested. And I think I I agree with you guys when you guys say it's going to come down to Justin Herbert. Does he really wonder or not? He does have zero playoff wins among a bunch of other quarterbacks that when you look at that playoff quarterbacks in the playoffs currently right now. That have zero playoff wins. They are either second years. Like so sophomore quarterbacks or third years people that haven't been around very long. Justin Herbert has been around how fucking long lost a lot of playoff games. He lost playoff games. It's going to come down to this game though personally to me. Not only Justin Herbert having a good game, not only Drake May trying to have a good game, but it's going to be what team is better coached. Mike Raible is a great coach. But Mike Raible, how many playoff wins does he have? Not too many. He had that one good old K year with Tennessee and pretty sure they went they want one or two maybe but Jim parba. It's super. So can be Jim I'm going to take the charge. Jacksonville and Buffalo. This game is really a lot of people have been talking about this game all week. You got like a great draw like Josh like this is going to be a chance and Buffalo is going to win the Super Bowl. Jai is going to get his ring. This is it. I personally think Jacksonville is a pretty tough poll. I would rather see the Texans. I would rather see the Patriots from being honest with you. I would rather see the Chargers. I would rather see the Steelers. Any of the body right now. I don't know why I feel like Jacksonville is just a tough poll. I feel like they just look really good. Maybe. I feel like they're also they haven't had that easy of a schedule. You know, I feel like their schedule has been decently tough. So. I think we get asses game. I think we got a pretty easy chance to go to the Super Bowl after this but. I'm still going to take the bills on this one so give me the bills. Steelers and Texans. I agree with what Nick Wright said on this whoever comes out of this game is probably. The scariest team in the AFC afterwards. Aaron Rogers two games away from a Super Bowl after that. Texans proven that they're probably the best defense in the entire league. So we'll see. I believe in Aaron Rogers. So give me the Steelers. Packers and bears Packers man. I feel like if Packers I just feel like I've kind of limped into the playoffs. I feel like a lot of teams maybe have limped into the playoffs but Packers have I feel like out of all the teams have. Not not aFC teams. I guess NFC teams have limped into the playoffs. But. Experience has a lot to do with the NFL playoffs. So I don't think the bears have the experience. Give me the upset. I got San Francisco and Philly. Philly man. I can't believe they're what 11 and 6. It's kind of wild. I think that they're 11 and 6. It's going to be in Philly though. Philly is an experienced team. Jalen Hertz has what five playoff wins in a Super Bowl. I don't know. Tough one for me. I still think Philly wins it. All right. Then the last game, which everybody's saying should be an easy pick. Easy pick should be the Rams. Yeah, the easy pick should be the Rams. But you guys member like three, four weeks ago when the pamphlers beat the Rams in Carolina. I think the Rams are the better team, but I would love to see Carolina win. It's tough. If you're going to talk about experience, you got to stick with it this game too. Yeah, there's a shit ton more experience when it comes to the Rams and Shawn McBitt. I'm just saying I'm not going to not make the same. But the mom. Yeah, you got to think about it. I think everyone wants to see Carolina win. Just I mean, it'd be cool to see care. I just want to see like the Rams kind of out of it. You know what I mean? So the Rams is a scary team. So give me the Rams. I'm sticking with the AFC going back to it, I guess. Chargers in Denver. At Denver. Denver is a I will always just think about this Denver is a very tough place to play. Yeah. And I I don't know. Something just about going into Denver having to play up there. Sean Payton is a good coach. I respect Sean Payton just like I respect you know Jim. I think again it's going to come down to coaching. At this point, I'm going to take Sean. So give me Denver. I think Denver has shown they are good. They've had a lot of good comebacks. I think their comebacks have shown that they are a good for all team. Kind of reminds me of Buffalo Bills. Some of their comebacks. So give me Denver. The others and Bills meet again in the playoffs. I love it. I love how our teams just keep meeting in the playoffs. It's pretty sweet. If they don't play in the regular season, guess what? They're probably going to play in the post season. Bills in Pittsburgh. We've done it before. We'll do it again. Buffalo will take the win. Respect for Rogers. Kind of hope he comes back. He's you know takes the Steelers to a divisional round playoff. It's pretty impressive for a 42 year old quarterback. If he can come back and be healthy, why not do it again? Give me the bills though. Green Bay in Seattle. I've said this quite a bit throughout the year. I'm going to stick with it. I think if I was going to stick with experience.
