All right welcome back, The Trilateral Podcast episode 82. How is it going, Hunter and Chris?- It's going, buddy, it's going.- It is going.- All right. We actually have something I wanna talk about. Chris said we've had some testing going on.- Yeah.- What's happening in testing?- They, they three concluded in Barcelona. Um, they got, first day was fairly dry. A lot of teams, not all teams participated, but the ones that did got a lot of laps in. Second day, it was hit or miss. It was predominantly rainy, but not a bad scenario with a brand new car to get sea-out operates in the wet weather. Today looked like it was all dry. I haven't watched the highlights from today. Nothing too crazy, just everyone getting comfortable with the new cars. All right now from day two, it looked like Max was, probably one of the faster ones out there, but look, Claire was right there. The day two had a red flag incident, had our, looks like he just lost control, which I may have been due to the weather. There hasn't been a lot of details on it, but he ended up crashing out in day two.- Wow.- I'm outside of that. I know there's some memes going around of how the cars sound and sounds like Cadillac is trying to make a statement with how they're sounds. It actually sounds like the raw old power of yesterday. Probably just a different exhaust they're running to make it sound more aggressive, but exciting. Cars were in track again, so we'll see where it goes. It doesn't seem to be any negativity against it anyway. There's a couple teams opted out, day one, and then I don't even know if Williams is going to participate. Sounds like they're behind schedule.- Really?- Yeah. But I'll say that not a whole lot of self-one. Some new sponsorships, cars look a little cool for them, obviously not all the livery, the final livery's have been released, but, well, let's see. Right now it's paired Red Bull or Ferrari. Audi's okay, I thought they could have done a little different, but we'll see how the rest shape hope, but good to see cars on the track.- Oh yeah. Not to see how a Cadillac does this year. That's an interest of one. I think Mercedes are favorites right now, but--- Really? - Yeah, I think Mercedes are the favorites right now. Interesting. That's not how I would have picked to be the favorite. He would like to see five.- I think it's Ferrari actually.- I think it's pretty even. I think Ferrari probably could. I know Hamilton is getting a new race engineer, so hopefully that'll help. I think he'll be the one who will be the winner.- All right.- Not a lot of new faces on the track, so it'll be an interesting season.- The orange.- We'll see, we'll see. All right. NFL playoffs. We're down into the final two teams. San Francisco, or not San Francisco, Seattle. And the Patriots are in the Super Bowl. Patriots. And let me start with Seattle.- Seattle is definitely the most deserved team being the Super Bowl, I think personally. I think Seattle has pieced it together, offensively, defensively, just as a team, as an organization, as a front office. They made the right moves when they needed to, to build a Super Bowl caliber team. They deserve to be there. They deserve every single person in that organization put that team in a predicament to be successful. And I think they're gonna win this rule.- Yeah.- Patriots. Probably one of the best coach teams I think ever. Like my variable came into there with what? A two in 10 Patriots?- Or what were the four wins last year?- The only four were yeah, yeah, it wouldn't make sense. Yeah, four wins last year. And now they are a Super Bowl contender.- Yeah.- Tommy, that's not a coach of the year, ballot number one. I don't know what is. Like, that's fucking insane.- Well, you look at the team, two of the teams, youngest out. They don't have, obviously,- That's why I'm saying, the best coach team.- They have some old stars on the team.- They're gonna be wrong, but they don't have anyone's Superstellar.- You have to be an amazing coach. You have to be a Sean Payton, a Mike Vrabel, a Bill Beller check in order to coach young guys like that.- I mean, I would give Drake Man what he's do. He played really fucking good, but the coaching definitely played a huge part. So.- Yeah.- I think we're gonna have a really good Super Bowl. Do I think, I don't know if it will get to him because I think he's showing us throughout the playoffs that he's obviously can deal with the pressure, but it is the Super Bowl. It's the biggest football game ever. You know, you'll have a lot to see how Drake Man does. Well, I also have to see how Sam does, but I'm pressing on the same too though. So we'll have to see, but I think it's gonna be a good Super Bowl. Am I itching at the bits ready to watch it?- No, I don't really care, but I just think Seattle, you know, in the Patriots can break three different records in this one.- That is, yeah, I didn't think about that. That is, so they can break Drake Man and be the youngest quarterback to win a Super Bowl.- They would, they would do it by what, a couple months?- By like five or six months, I thought he'd be the youngest because Bannon Britisher still has it as the youngest quarterback to win. So, I'm pretty sure he's the youngest quarterback to go to the Super Bowl though. He broke that record already, but now he's gonna be the youngest to win it obviously as well.- Drake may sophomore year, right?- Yeah, second year. So, Joe Brode did this second year.- The Joe Brode was also four year college player. I don't think Drake will be in the year.- Yeah, you're right. So, Joe Brode was 24, maybe with the Super Bowl. They got a good year, you know, Rabel bounced them back.- If you look at their schedule, they have one of the easiest games.- No, I get it. That's what I'm saying.- Look at the playoffs. They have one of the easiest playoffs for us. They got lucky with Denver in Vodix being out. They got lucky with it. It's always gonna be a what if season for Denver, no? So, college basketball and general college basketball, then shortly after that, you know, PGA masters and everything's starting up, so, yeah. But also, I guess also sports wise, shout out Paramount for UFC.- Yeah, they had their first event. UFC fight on Paramount, which is awesome. So, pretty crazy, man, how you'd have to pay, like, what was like, a hundred bucks?- It was 60 bucks for favorite bucks.- Every single fight, every single one, you pay for your fights, and then obviously, you got fight nights free.- But like, $90 for the entire year, you get every single fight, though, just pay $90 for the year.- I do agree with what people are saying, man, they gotta do something better with, like, the ads, or like, something. Like, I think that's what that bad. I get there a lot, but they, I mean, it would show the fight, like, it showed them in their quarters, then it would bring the ads up there, if they bad, didn't, like, go on full commercial.- It wasn't, I don't think it was as bad as people are making out to be, but like, there was that one point where it was like, we were literally sitting there for, what, there was like 15 minutes of just bullshit. And then Travis Barker came on and like, all that shit, like, that was just the UFC probability, all that shit, yeah. We'll see. Now there's another weekend for them to redeem themselves this weekend. Let's see how this one goes. All right, Super Bowl, whatever. We'll talk about it in a couple of weeks. Yep. All right, let's talk about NFL coaches.- Yeah. - No. I was watching a video and they were talking, I wanna say it was McAfry, not McAfry, McAfry and Shepher. And it was like Shepher on a video call with him and he said, just wait, once the Buffalo Bill's position gets full and filled, every other position is gonna fall like dominoes. Because everybody's holding their breath and waiting to see what happens with Buffalo. What a crazy internal promotion for the Buffalo Bill's. I don't necessarily know how I feel about it. I don't necessarily feel like we did anything good. Do I think Joe Brady is an awesome coach and he's in a great offensive coordinator? I think he's amazing at what he does. Do I think maybe we throw too many like bubble screens? Yeah, maybe, but we'll see. But personally, I feel like we just made the biggest lateral movement we could have made. I really don't see what's gonna be different for you guys. I don't know how you're gonna keep different than Joe and it really be able to shot all those years. Yeah, and I'm bad edge left. So we need more peace of mind. Yeah, we're pursuing the defensive past defense coach from Denver. Yeah, I want fucking wink. What's he up to? Didn't you say he was interviewing for the Giants? I think I still think they, it should have been a clean swipe or it should have been left as is. And more pressure should have been put on personnel finding. I mean, you could put a, you could put a, yeah, 100%. We didn't do anything at the trade deadline. Nobody was fucking picked up. We didn't make an effort to make that team better. So. So and they all say it came down to bad coaching. We did play it safe early on. Some of those games. That's for damn sure. Yeah, I think we got, you know, we were more brazing. Now, how many times do we go for fourth down this year? And it was nearly 100%. Yeah, that's that's a that's I feel like we're seeing that a lot more in the NFL just period. We're going to see that people go against the book. But it just maybe begin. So it's kind of a show of some kind of a layer floating of uncertainty. What on is there? I still think there's going to be some player turnover. But we'll see. You know, it's not a huge change. You know, people are familiar with them obviously. So. But.
