All right, welcome back, The Trilateral Podcast episode 88. How's it going, my guys? How's it going, everybody? It's going. All right, it's going. So we're looking at a F1 NFL, some March Madness. F1? Just got done racing in China? Yeah, they're in China this past weekend. Now, pretty interesting race. It was a sprint weekend, so short practice. Jump right into sprint qualifying. Sprint race was pretty good. We had Russell, Claire and Hamilton as your podium for that. I'm a clearance is actually participated in something, spoiler alert in the sprint race. Qualifying, pretty good overall, headed into the race. Kimmy actually took pull, filed by Russell, Hamilton and Claire, and then your McLearns were 5'6, but come race day. We actually had four cars that did not start, and two of them were both from clearance. Yeah, yeah. Crazy work, man. Yeah. Great news. As a wild lad to start, I hadn't heard much. I watched the race, but such a crazy start time for us East Coasters. I ended up just watching the recording, and yeah, we had both McLearns didn't even get to the starting grid. One of the audits and one of the Williams didn't even start the race. No surprises. Actually, started the race. Once again, it was great. We had battle between Ferrari and Mercedes. Fries were up there. Hamilton actually got out there and was leading. He dispatched them within the first few laps. Then it was kind of a back and forth. Kimmy finally got ahead and was kind of off. Then it was Russell, Hamilton, Russell, and with Claire just kind of back and forth back there, the battling between the Ferrari's kind of what Russell catch out. So unfortunately, he got by him. But then we had a nice little back and forth with Hamilton and which will Claire admitted during the race on the radio. He's like, that was actually fun. It looked a little sketchy at times, but they kept it clean. Let them race. Outside of that, we had three more that had to retire, both Aston Martins out and then Max had to retire. Really? That Ford powertrain is really doing great for them. Aston Martins just looks like a shit show. Which they're dealing with, they have Honda powertrain. We had eight cars with them leading lap. Other ones that finished. Haas was, your podium ended up beating Kimmy, George Lewis, which was actually, if you're Mercedes, Lewis fan, honestly, it was an amazing podium. Since Mercedes took the race, they have a representative of the team to receive the Constructors trophy. They actually let Bono up there, which is Kimmy's engineer, Hamilton's prior engineer. So it was a nice little family reunion up there. Bono actually, Russell stepped off the podium for a moment and Bono, Hamilton and Kimmy got up there and had a photo. There were some comments, a photo made a comment. He's like, even through qualifying, he's like, yeah, actually, I think we got three cars out there. Just one's dressing and red. So, a good, a proud moment for Toto. He came up, was graduating Hamilton and Russell and Kimmy. Yeah, Lewis might be on another team, but he's always family when it comes to Mercedes. So, that was a good podium. Nice to see Hamilton. Take his first podium for Ferrari. Oh, dude. But yeah, it looks like it's really up between Mercedes and Ferrari, man. They are just looking good. We had a Haas finish in fifth, which is awesome. They had a lag, both their cars finished. They were scrapping with each other a little bit, but they both finished. So the new kids on the block are, I feel, doing better than some of the other teams out there. Oh, you know, McLaren just got done. You know, winning the constructors, you know, one of them just won their championship. So, yeah, maybe a little smaller than even a, hasn't even started a race yet this season. Oh, that's crazy. I was excited about that. No race is coming weekend, but they'll be in Japan next weekend. Looking ahead to that race. It's usually a fun circuit course. So we'll see how these cars do on it. Hopefully everyone can get to the starting grid. We'll see. Cool thing. My herger just, you know, I'm a Fana Toho and Godzilla and all that. Haas is supposed to be doing a Godzilla liberate for the race. Really? Yeah. That's why I haven't seen any pictures of that, but I've heard they're doing a, they were teaming up with Toho to do a liberate for the race. Oh, which Haas is working with Toyota racing. So, it kind of makes sense. But that should be pretty sharp. Hopefully we'll get some photos here in the coming days. That will be pretty fun. Outside of that, you know, only two races in. Russell's leading. Followed by Kimmy and then Charles and Lewis only have one point between them. And then number five in the racing championship is Oliver Barman. So Haas driver, which is awesome. That's exciting. Different? Yeah, it's different. It's good to see some of those middle runners kind of stepping up a little bit and some of the bigger dogs maybe falling back behind the eight ball. But yeah, Mercedes and Ferrari off to a good start. I could see it. I could say them battling back and forth. I would say Kimmy just looks strong, man. He did great. I believe he took the youngest podium now. And that was actually a grand slam for him. He had he had pole won the race and had the fastest lap of the race. So first win and it's a grand slam. Definitely a future world champion there. I don't know if it'll be this year. I think it's going to be more being Russell and Hamilton, but some teams aren't even showing up. So it'll be an interesting season. I'm going to see if they ever show up. There was some news drop today that team principal of Austin, Austin, Martin was going to step down. And I heard that was more media driven and supposedly the team came out and said, no, that's not the case. So I don't know if they're looking to change something there or if he's going to concentrate more on the tech side. Obviously, they need to figure something out. They're not looking too high. But we'll see how that develops outside of that. I believe that's really it for Formula One this week. We got some trades in the NFL since the last time we talked, right? Nope. No, yeah. What are the exact trades under the LSON? The biggest one obviously that everyone seemed was put on a jail in the water going for my family to Denver. Gosh, that's bad when actually I do remember that the Broncos. Broncos got him in a 2026 forthrum pick, but they gave up first drum pick, third drum pick, fourth from Anna forthrum pick. So I make it's worth it for Denver. I think Denver's mean, they have a great way to see her room now with him. Portland, Southern Troy Franklin. I think BoneX has a lot of good targets there now. BoneX is going to be, yeah. Miami, they're taking on so much dead money though and they're just getting rid of that right there. They're just going to fall for rebuild. Yeah, they're going to do the same. They're just, yeah, they're cleaning house. So I know other pickups, man. They're going to be wise not so much pickups obviously Kyler Murray signing with the Vikings. So I don't know about that. Well, they also just resigned, um, Carson once. Yeah, I saw that. I didn't know if it was 100%. So now they have Kyler Murray, Carson once and JJ McCarthy. Wow. So they have a interesting QB room. So, I think there's any other big pickups that I mean, Chiquan Brisker, Safety from the Bears, signed with Pittsburgh. It's pretty huge for us, I feel like. So you pick up. Is it, I don't know if you saw or if it's just maybe it was fake news. The Steelers resigned Heyward, didn't they? They gave Heyward. I thought they gave him like a, they restructured his contract. So I thought they gave, I thought they knew. And he was going to. Okay. Hmm. Got something he was going somewhere else, but as I thought they resigned him. No, they were signed. They got it. And he don't sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. Hmm. I don't think any call, one is going to call it with. There's just going to keep us around. So I mean, when you sign as many more I guess. Another quarterback when you see the Justin Field. Yeah, Justin Field. He got traded for six throne pick. Was it our fifth round pick to the Chiefs? Yeah, six from to the Chiefs. Yeah. That's mean, I think it's a good backup for the Chiefs. And they're going to need him prior for the first few weeks. Well, Patrick's out and recovering, I think. So. Yeah. Hmm. Damien Pierce also signed with the Eagles. So for one year deal to the Eagles. And then we see anything anything huge besides that. But we do have a model once just wild. I mean, out of all the teams he was going to go to, I did not think. I wish we could have got Jaylen Waddle, Fox. Yeah. No, I like DJ. I would allow like Jaylen Waddle. Yeah, I mean. There's still picking up what up he's out there. So I mean, no one's talked to dig still. There's some other ones. There's still two that's having been signed. So. Yeah, we picked up three safeties cornerback and an edge. And I saw you guys lost your offensive guard. Was it Edwards? Yeah, we let him go into the Saints I saw. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not mad with anything we did really. I think I prior were me being a little biased. I know he's the deserveant of starting somewhere, but I would have liked Trebuski to stick around, but I get it. I figured Bill's defense was going to be kind of an over also not surprising. We let most of our corners go and. Well, the defense needed a whole. They're changing the changing the scheme. So people are going to go unfortunately. There's still so these are the top agents that still have signed anywhere. We got Jawan Jennings receiver, obviously for some San Fran hasn't signed anywhere yet. He got Joey Boasa still hasn't signed anywhere yet. So this one shows he hasn't done a different Cisco though. He was kind of according yesterday's post that he was still free agent. So. I don't know. So. Kirk cousins. Still hasn't signed DJ reader. Stefan digs Stefan digs is not going to resign. He's. And then a D. Bo Samuel still for agent. Well. So. Then go Aaron Rogers. What about Aaron Rogers. For agents haven't signed anywhere. Is all yours, buddy? What do you guys tell you talking about? And we're probably having a hand more Kirk cousins. So is all you buddy or poison. I would have been better happy with Andy Dauntler. Then both of them. So you take me Mr. Trubicki. No, because he's already failed at Pittsburgh. So I grabbed someone new. So. I guess that I'm all good for big Ben coming out every time. Just for a year. So. I don't think that's going to happen, but I'll next week either. Unfortunately. All right. Fortunately any other NFL trays news. Wishes hopes and dreams. Guys hope come true. Yeah. All right. It seems like it's quite a down for the most part. Yeah. Yeah. So we probably wrap in there soon. Oh, everybody's out of money. Yeah. Oh, they got that. Especially Miami. I don't think Miami's going to be able to afford it. And with all the dead money they're taking over like a hundred. There was a hundred seventy million dead money they got to take on this year. Oh, Miami is going to be able to play night games because they're not going to have enough money to keep the lights on. Yeah. That's not definitely not. But yeah, moving in the March madness. It has been madness already. That is for sure. What you talking about, bro? Crazy games. So. Probably crazy. It's one being high point upsetting what's Council. Crazy sad from a bracket. Yeah. RIP North Carolina. That was that was. But yeah, crazy. March madness. New or craziness. Just period already happening. We are in the first round. So we're in the beauty of it where we get 16 games today. 16 games tomorrow. Right. 16. Is it 16? Yeah. Yeah, 16. Congrats in Nebraska. Getting their first March madness win in history. It was against Troy against Troy. But still first time ever winning March madness game in all their years. They beat them 47 to 77. Good. Good way to win their first game in bracket ever. So. Yeah. Other than that. Let's hope that we have some more crazy games for our first weekend. I'm sure we'll be recapting that. Next week and episode 89. Right now. Who are you guys is. We didn't do this. Did we do like a final four? Who do you guys figure your final four? Let's just pick your final. Let's pick your final four real quick. Who's your partner? Who's your final four? I've got some of them. I'm glad to switch mine. All right. Well, whatever. Yeah. So you should have picked that. So I realistic one. I had my final four. I am not just a non bias one, but I had Florida. First is MSU. And the East. I self one and I had in the West. Last Midwest. I had Arizona. First in Texas Tech. Okay. So. And then I had Florida moving on. And I had Arizona moving on. And then I had Florida beating Arizona in the first. All right. Mine. I got St. John's in Houston. St. John's one in the East Houston. One in the South. And then I got Arizona. One in the West Michigan winning the Midwest Houston. Getting St. John's Arizona beating Michigan. And then ultimately Houston coming up short again. Arizona. Your national champion. What about you, Chris? Um. Michigan. Midwest for sure was on. On the radar. Um. West. Probably would have been Gonzaga. Out of the East. Oh. I probably been pulling you, Con. And all yourself. I would have been. T-t-t-t-t. My one. I went a little deeper. I might pull for Clemson. Um. And then. I just, uh, I got Michigan. I would say Michigan makes it. And then they'd be playing. I'd be playing you, Con. And I think Michigan would take it. Solid. I like your dark horses. One guy's dog is not really dark horse. They're there. 30. But Clemson's fuck. That'd be a crazy run. It'd be a good run. Nope. So guys, they got a board. They got a bird. That does not, uh, does not mirror my pick 10 though. My pick 10, I went very deep. Yeah, you can do it. I already paid up. Yeah. So, uh, two of them. Oh, two of them. That continues. Or wait, did you say two of your pick tens have gone through? They're good. Oh, yeah, they're good. Uh, so I had high point and VCU. That's huge. Uh, my fucking, I got one. Yeah, two gone. I got two gone. Same. I had BYU that's already gone. And then I had North Carolina. It's already gone. Yeah, I think my one that went in today would have been. What I had. Why? Why? And. All right. Well, um, go back in the first game of the day tomorrow, 12 30. Yes. Back in. Yes. Um, right now, I've all over 25 million brackets made only 24,291 are still perfect. That's your first day. So, so. I'm pretty crazy. If tomorrow, probably none. So, I'll be very proud of this ain't perfect brackets after tomorrow. Yeah, I lost. I'll say today. I lost two games today in my pick ten. Do what? I lost two teams in my pick ten today. Yeah, I lost two teams as well. All I always is my sweet. Yeah, I went pretty deep on that one though. So, so. Yeah, my sweet 16 elite eight. All that still in, yeah. Two out of my three leagues my sweet 16. So, that's all back. I like this predictor sweet 16. Alrighty guys. So. Anything else? Sean besides those three? No, no, no, about a being. I know. I think that. That man think that's it. Awesome, awesome. All right. Enjoy the rest of the March Manus catch you on the next episode. Thanks for listening. See you later. And see you later.
