All right, welcome back. The Trilateral Podcast Episode 99. How's it going guys? How's it going up right and breathing? If we got no F1, do we have this bowl of that one coming up? Monaco is a couple different rule changes going on. Yeah. Yeah. I was going to win it, Monaco. You know what? It could be just about anyone's race with what's went down this week as far as, um, so with the new regulations, the overtake modes and everything that's driver-controlled, they have deemed none of those can be used while race weekends happening. So during the race, qualifying practice, no overtake modes can be used, utilized at all. Deeming safety reasons. Yeah, it's a tight course, but kind of sucks. It's a pretty restricted track as it is for overtaking, so it's only going to make that more difficult, I feel. I mean, it's pretty much going to be like whatever pole is, that's what the fuck in the finish is going to be. Yeah, um, no. I feel like it's also a track that like, you know, I really like, it's not a super, super intense track. You know what I mean? Yeah, there's a lot of curves and bends to it and everything like that, but it's not like some of these intense tracks where like, they got like the elevation changes and like, I don't know, more elements to deal with rather than like, Monaco, where you're just like, you're on these clean fucking streets, you know, driving the fucking tunnel is bent in turns. I don't know. I feel like just, and it's like, like you said, it's kind of hard track to overtake, but like, you know, also it's pretty straightforward track. Yeah, it is. It's, it's, it's, I don't feel it says enjoyable as it had been in many years past. The, um, looks like they've also adjusted the MGU K power restrictions and introduced a Rev 1 mode of forcing the power deployment to tape off earlier. So completely cutting out the 300 kil- uh, kilometers per hour potential. They, uh, they dropped two stop rule. So it's not a mandatory two pit stops. It'll be back to traditional where at least one stop, you know, you have to have two different tire compounds throughout the race, which usually you start with one and then you need to pit to, you, when you pay, you change to a different one. Um, and then no valve, shakane, which are turns 10 and 11. Um, if drivers cut that, they have to give the position back immediately. Really? You know, they have to do it immediately, like before the next turn or face the penalty. So they're going to be a little more stricter in that area. And then the big one that I think is going to um, destroy Mercedes advantage, they had a loophole in the engine compression ratio. The rules had stated ambient temperature, which without any of the specific ambient temperatures normally room temperature, while they are going to measure these compressions prior to race at room temperature and at full temp, 130 Celsius. Um, so they have to maintain the same compression. Uh, because they were gaining, typical like 16, they were getting like 18, which is giving them more power. So that advantage for them is going to be eliminated. We'll see what that does. They're, uh, pretty well dominant showcase so far. Yeah. Um, all good things must come to an end, I suppose. So yeah, I don't know, I kind of mixed feelings about the race. You know, the last couple have been pretty lackluster. But, um, never know, maybe, maybe it'll be interesting. Yeah, we'll see. Hopefully it's a pretty good. They definitely have some shoes to fill. This is interesting as the last race was. So, yeah, let's hope, hope orange is back on top. We shall see, we shall see. Well, I think we'll see someone new up there that hasn't won a race yet this season. So, but as far as F1, I think that it covers it till the race is, uh, this coming Sunday. It's a 9am race for Eastern Steel and new time for us. Nice. Um, all right, except one. Going into the finals, we do have, um, two finals. Game one is have already started at the time that recording this podcast. One is going on right now. The other one, was played yesterday. Hockey was played yesterday. And the hockey, uh, which was a crazy fucking game. We have a Knights in the Hurricanes. Um, two great teams. It could be an awesome series. Super excited. For the next one on that. We did have some things go on in the NFL that we probably should talk about. Um, pretty crazy things, some good things, kind of expected things. Um, but I like to hear everybody's output on it. Um, then we brought it up a couple episodes ago, like, what the Rams make playoffs. And even after this move with them picking a Miles Garrett with all these trades and everything like this, this is like straight up like, yo, they're, they're going for it. You know what I mean? So it's, it, do we die for the Rams? I think they definitely made the playoffs and we'll see how they do. But with them picking up on Miles Garrett, that defense is going to be pretty scary in that, that divisions. I mean, Seattle should watch out. There'll be a, I don't know. That's not a good, uh, good pickup. And uh, I just don't know about all the trade like all they got for them. Like they, they got a lot. I, I would say probably long term that trade was better for Cleveland, but Cleveland, what is Cleveland actually going to do with it though? We don't know. Yeah. They're on draft three quarterbacks with all three rounds. They got it. They need, they need, they, they need something like that though. Four miles Garrett. So then they got it. They got it.
