The Still Hopeful Podcast

Episode 51: In honour of Autumn's Second Heavenly Birthday

Season 2 Episode 26

We couldn't get through this episode without crying. Sonia speaks about her baby girl, Autumn so beautifully and with so much love. Her sweet girl was stillborn at 32 weeks after battling three years of infertility. We talk about the moment she learned the heartbreaking news and the birth of her sweet daughter.

"I can't live in a world where I can't connect with her" is something Sonia shares and it resonated so deeply with me. We talk about signs and all of the ways that Autumn has shown up for her. We say we feel less crazy when we hear other people's stories too. Too many stories that go beyond coincidences and it just has to be our babies.

We also laugh a lot because there's something so comforting about finding another mom who's part of this club too.

Sonia is also pregnant again and I can't wait to have her back on the podcast to talk all things pregnancy after loss and all the layers that brings.
