Born and raised in Nepal, Kabita got married right after finishing high school. She later moved to London to pursue her graduation, where she faced the tough challenge of paying her university semester fees while working in restaurants. Overwhelmed by homesickness, she returned to Nepal after six months—only to find herself back in London just 15 days later, determined to continue her studies.
After a year, Kabita made another big move—this time to Dubai. Soon after, her husband also joined her, and together they started building their life in the UAE. In this conversation, Kabita opens up about her struggles, resilience, and family stories, offering an honest glimpse into the migrant journey filled with ups and downs, sacrifices, and dreams.
