Episode 40
Black Pudding lobbing is no joke. It's been around since the War of the Roses. This yearly tradition continues on in Ramsbottom, where black puddings are lobbed at Yorkshire puddings on posts high above competitors.
Why do they do this? Well, in previous iterations, it was a continuation of an ongoing battle, but today it's to raise money for local families in need of a little assistance.
We talk with Jimmy Cunliffe, the current organizer of the event and Gillian, the social media person with the competition.
