Show Notes

It may seem antithetical- a story about a gruesome crime where the details are deliberately kept fuzzy so that it doesn't upset the reader. It's also an incredibly popular genre in crime fiction.

This week we got to talk with Elizabeth S Craig, the best-selling author of the Myrtle Clover, Southern Quilting and Memphis Barbeque series. And if that isn't enough work for one person, Elizabeth has just launched her latest series, the Village Library Mysteries.

Elizabeth talked about how she got into writing, how much she writes every day (spoiler: it's an impressive amount), and how much of mystery writing is applicable to the old 'write what you know' adage.

You should check out Elizabeth's website, which includes her great blog about writing and links to all the different websites and bookstores where you can get her books. And on our YouTube page, check out a bonus clip, where we talk with Elizabeth about what she reads for fun and living a writing life.
