Deacon Rich Perkins will be ordained May 31 of this year as a Catholic priest at 56 years old.
His life story consists of growing up Protestant, getting married, have a son, converting to the Catholic Church, getting divorced, getting an annulment, and leaving everything to go to Catholic seminary at 50 years old.
In this long form conversation with Donald Paul, Deacon Rich Perkins shares his life story, his vocational discernment, how his Jeep blowing up in the middle of nowhere Georgia led to his entered seminary, and what he is most excited for when he is ordained a Catholic Priest.
