Reflection and Vision Forward: Recommit to Your Next-Level Self
April marks a crucial checkpoint for those who began 2025 with strong health and self-improvement goals—it's the perfect time to pause, reflect, and redirect if needed to become your best self.
• Reflection on your first 12 weeks and whether you're reaching your goals
• Identifying patterns, thoughts, or behaviors no longer aligned with who you're becoming
• Understanding the gap between your current self and your desired future self
• Recognizing which "season" you're in—fat loss, muscle building, or mindset work
• Establishing five non-negotiables: nutrition, movement, morning mindset, personal development, and reflection
• Creating a vision for both the next 6-12 months and specific goals for the next 30 days
• Choosing one word or intention to guide your journey forward

Hello and welcome back to the podcast. I just want to take some time because we are getting into April. I cannot believe it. It is almost April and this is a perfect time for anyone who started this year off really strong with weight loss goal, with fitness goal, with mindset goals the best version of you goals Like this is a perfect time to pause and either keep on going, address what's going well, what's going wrong, and then redirect if we need. So I really wanted to call this episode reflection and vision forward. So I know I talk a lot about having your vision. What does that mean? And I really just want to go over some amazing questions you can go through if you do have some sort of goal where you want to be changing your body, your mind, whatever it is. And these are some of the reflection questions that I actually had my made for more ladies go through as we are wrapping up the first 12 weeks of made for more.
Speaker 1:It is an evergreen program, which means you can join at any time and it'll make sense, but for the ladies that started with me in January, I really wanted to take the time to really reflect and see what's going well, what's not going so well and why. So I'd love to share some of this with you. If you did have this new year's resolution, new year's resolute oh my God, new year resolution, cat, get it together, all right. So this is kind of about reflection, vision casting and like stepping in to your next level, your next level, self. What does that mean? Who does she look like? All of the things. So, before we have started, I want you to really center yourself If you're listening to this while you're driving amazing but I really want you to have some time to reflect on these questions, to journal pause if you need to answer the questions and come back. But yeah, we're going to start on reflection.
Speaker 1:So, looking back, 12 weeks, right, 12 weeks have gone by since the beginning of 2025. So, from that time, from the beginning of January, are you where you wanted to be 12 weeks ago? Did you reach that goal? Are you getting closer to that goal? And, if not, what came up for you mentally, physically, emotionally that you really just weren't expecting? Or maybe it is something you were expecting? Right, like every time I start something, this happens, right, I never follow through, or things get hard. What is this story you are telling yourself? Or things get hard. What is this story you are telling yourself? Is it a mental story? Is it an emotional story? Or is it something physical that happened that you really weren't expecting?
Speaker 1:So think about that. Are you where you wanted to be? What came up for you, and what patterns, thoughts or behaviors no longer feel aligned with who I am becoming? So this is a really hard question to answer if you don't know who you are becoming right? So this is why I focus so much on vision and your best self and becoming that girl right. That girl that crushes her workouts and meal preps and does all these things second nature right? If that's who you are trying to become, what thoughts, patterns or behaviors are no longer feeling in alignment with that? So think about it. Where you're at now this version of you, there's previous versions of you and there's a future version of you what is the biggest gap between where you are right now and where you want to be? What does that gap look like? I really want you to take some time and think about that. What are these missing pieces that we keep avoiding? Or things keep coming up, these thoughts keep coming up. These thoughts keep coming up, these stories keep coming up and they're keeping us from our full potential.
Speaker 1:Next, we're going into lessons and leaks. So what got in my way internally or externally? What beliefs have shifted since starting this program or starting your goal back in January? Has anything come up for you that really shifted over the last three months? Have you been showing up and proving yourself? Have you really learned to believe that I can fucking do it Like? Where are you at mentally with that? Are there any areas in the last three months that you surprised yourself with? Where did you hold back? Where did you play small and how can you use these lessons to really fuel your future self and your future results? What does that look like? So in the next three months? What season?
Speaker 1:I talk about seasons when it comes to weight loss. There are tons of seasons here and we need to go through all of the seasons to have successful results. So, with that being said, when I'm talking about seasons, I'm talking about fat loss, I'm talking about building muscle or leaning out, and I'm talking about reverse dieting. Metabolic repair and mindset is another season you can be in. You can delete all of those other things and just focus on your mindset. It does not always need to be a nutrition goal. Maybe you really need to step into healing a relationship with food and healing a relationship with your body and learning to trust yourself again. That looks a lot different than fat loss, right? So think about that. What season are you going into?
Speaker 1:What does showing up as her the best version of you actually look like? What does that mean? Who is that person? What is she doing on a daily basis? How is she speaking to herself? What are the non-negotiables moving forward? So think about this. You need to have these boundaries set for yourself every single day and those are your non-negotiables. I don't know if boundaries is the right word, but these standards let's say standards. So your non-negotiables should be your standard. That is like the bare minimum that you're doing every single day. And in Made For More and in my coaching, there are five non-negotiables that is your nutrition, that is intentional movement, that is your morning mindset, your personal development and reflection. So, with all five of those things, what are you committing to in each category for your nutrition, for your movement, for your personal development, your morning mindset, for your reflection? So, for an example, for me, my morning mindset. As you guys see, I'm a crazy person on Instagram posting my morning hype session videos. That is part of my morning mindset. I need to get myself on a higher level, on a higher vibration, in a better mood, and you cannot be in a bad mood if you have a morning dance party right. So morning dance party, that is part of my morning mindset. My nutrition right now I am tracking everything to a T. I'm hitting 150 grams of protein, I'm getting my water Right. So those are my non-negotiables For movement. I'm strength training five days, six days a week and getting my steps in every single day. That's intentional movement Personal development.
Speaker 1:I do a guided meditation every single morning. I use an app called Brain Tap. So if you don't, if you're not a visual person like me I am not I can't visualize things. I don't know why. I wish I could. I can't see things. When someone tells me to like, think of like a blue tree, I'm like that's nice, but I can't see that in my head. So brain tap, it uses like different sounds and it's like subliminal audios I want to say and it's like guided meditation, but two voices are going on at the same time. Really freaking. Love that. So that is my personal development every single day, and I also really try to disconnect every day by like going outside, moving my body for a walk and just disconnecting for a little bit and then reflection in made for more in the collective. We do the daily awareness protocol, which is if you guys see me posting, that's the DAP, your daily awareness protocol Like you're reflecting every single day on what went well, what didn't go well, where are you feeling regret and what the fuck are you doing about it tomorrow. Right, like those are non-negotiable, those five things you have to do every single day to see some sort of progress. Right, we cannot see progress if we cannot repeat it. Right, and then vision forward. I love this.
Speaker 1:What's your big picture goal over the next six to 12 months? So, if you're listening to this right now, it is the end of March of 2025. We are going to be in September in six months, which is insane or almost in September. Where do you want to be? Think about it big picture, not just from a health standpoint, but what job do you want to be in? Where do you want to be living? How do you want to be in your relationships? How are you showing up? What does your body look like? How are you feeling?
Speaker 1:I want you to think of all of these things because they're all so important, right, it's all part of the big picture goal. And then I want you to scale it back and think what is your main goal for this next month, for the next 30 days? And a goal is not losing 10 pounds this month. That is not the goal. It is feeling more confident. Great, how are you doing that? Right? How can you prove to you, to yourself, that you are more confident if it's building more self-trust, right? Like I'm proving to myself that I can hit my protein goal every single day. I'm proving to myself every single day I can hit my water goal. I can do these hard things right. So think about it that way.
Speaker 1:And if you could anchor into one word or intention to guide you through the next 30, 60, next 12 months, whatever it is, what is that intention? What is that mantra for yourself? So, just some reflections to go through. I really want you to take the time to reflect and then really cast your vision on who you want to become. Just because we are in March, april, does not mean you failed at your New Year's goals.
Speaker 1:If you fell off, that's okay, but take this time to really think about what really truly went wrong and what are you gonna do about it. What are you gonna change? It takes one decision to actually show up for yourself. It takes you deciding that you were made for more and committing. Show up, prove to yourself, you have it in you.
