Speaker 1:

He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust. Now you guys think you can memorize that. Just start with the first one, he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Just get that part down your heart. Does she have it up there, ain't she awesome? And then, when you get comfortable with that, then add shall abide under the shadows of Almighty. When you get that in your heart, you will not believe how many times you'll call on that in your life. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadows of Almighty. I will say of the Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust. That's what we learned last week. This week, surely he shall deliver me from the snares of the filer and from the perilous pestilence, and so I just want to go over this real quick before we get started.

Speaker 1:

The snare of a filer is a bird caught in a hunter's trap, and so when they want to catch monkeys, they take a jar and they put a coin in the bottom of it, and they put a coin in the bottom of it and the monkey he puts his hand in puts the coin in his hand and then he can't get it out of the jar because he doesn't know to just open his hand. He wants to bring the coin with him and while he is distracted. Is that what the enemy does to us? He distracts us. Is that what the enemy does to us? He distracts us, makes us lose our sense of what's going on around us. The hunter pops that little monkey on the head and takes him into captivity.

Speaker 1:

So see, if we don't have our helmet of salvation on, it makes it very easy for the enemy to pop us in the head. But when we have our helmet of salvation on, it's a lot harder for the enemy to penetrate. My mind and remember our scripture last week was be sober, minded and watchful. I wish this would have a chin strap, but when you have your chin strap, then this stays steady on our heads, on our minds, I should say. And so put the helmet of salvation on. It clears up all confusion so that you can think clearly, because the enemy wants to keep us distracted, amen. And so how does your Bible read, chris? Which one?

Speaker 2:

I have. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I will say, of the Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God. In him I will trust.

Speaker 1:

I will trust. Okay. So it reads just like mine. Some say in the shadows or in the shelter of the Almighty, and so the song that I'm going to have sis play for us is In the Shelter House. Now it's dated. It's probably I don't know 80s, and you'll hear that 80s sound in there and there's trumpets. It's really beautiful, but think about the words more than anything. Think about the words that they're saying. And to the shelter house I go. Okay, okay, sis, we're ready. Oh, I'll get them. Now that everybody knows Within me there's a power of God In the shelter house of my heart. Into the shelter house I go. There's a spirit. I will go and I'll rest in the presence of the Lord. I'll take it everywhere I go. Now that everybody knows Within me there's of our new God In the shelter out of my heart.

Speaker 3:

Oh Lord, you have blessed me, you have filled me up. You gave me life and a hope to carry on. I thank God. I thank God for that. I can call out your name and go holy in the presence of the King Shiver in the shadows. I know the spirit of the Lord. Now rest in the presence of the Lord. I'll take it everywhere I go. I'll let everybody know, with any breath of power of God Into the shelter house of my heart, come on, I am filled. I was so in love. You deal with the power and authority. You aren't any opposition that may rise. I don't care about the circumstance I may be in, cause I know this power within me never ends. Into the shelter house. I go where the Spirit of God will flow and I rest in the presence of the Lord. I take it everywhere I go and I let everybody know I'm taking every word of the world. Everybody knows.

Speaker 1:

I'm the counter guy In the shelter. I'm so far. That's a good little song, isn't it? It might be in the 90s. It does have a little disco feel to it, don't it?

Speaker 1:

But the point of it is that we can go into the shelter house of God. You know he's our canopy, he's the roof. You know he is our shelter in every storm of life. Thank God, we can run to him in no matter what circumstance we're in. Right, right, okay.

Speaker 1:

So God will rescue us and he will shelter us and he will keep us safe and he will deliver us from the snares of the enemy, from the traps of the enemy. You know the enemy is constantly setting up traps for you and I. It's what he does, it's who he is trying to get you and I off track, trying to keep us so busy in our mind that we do not do what we should do for the kingdom of God. Anyone agree with that? Amen. So those who live in the shadow of the Most High will find rest in the shadows of Almighty. This I declare about the Lord he is my only refuge, my place of safety, he is my God and I trust Him, for he will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every deadly disease, and we'll do four next week.

Speaker 1:

So perilous pestilence in Psalms 91.3 is diseases, it is a plague. It hits the population hard, just like COVID did. That was a perilous pestilence, a disease that come up on the earth to hit our population. Correct, it was dangerous, it was harmful, it was an epidemic and it was widespread. When COVID came on the scene not that I'm going to talk about COVID tonight, but it is pestilent when COVID came on the scene, I had went to the store and bought red duct tape and set it on the table, knowing in my heart that I was going to put that on the doorpost in the threshold of our house, because God's word never changes. If he said to apply the blood to your doorpost, clear back and the word, that word is the same for today. See, when you applied the blood to the door, the deaf angel passed over, and so I laid it on the table and I come home and Dave had put it on the door, which totally thrilled me because Dave is the head of our household and he took the initiative to apply the blood, which blessed my heart, a double blessing. And so, even though I have had COVID five times, the enemy didn't take me out. Dave's had it twice, but the enemy did not take me out. Like Dave's had it twice, but the enemy did not take us out, and I know it's because of the power that's in the blood. I know that Dave and I live in the shadows of Almighty. Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

And so Psalms 90,3 means that God will protect and rescue you from all harm, including traps and deadly diseases. God rescues you from death by sending Jesus to the cross. Amen. And God rescued you into an eternal favor by freely giving you Christ's righteousness. You know what righteousness is? You're in right standings with Christ. You're in right standings and God rescued you by his mercy because of his great love for you that you didn't have to do anything to deserve. He just loves us that much. Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

God will protect us from physical harm, such as diseases and pestilence, and God will protect his people from spiritual harm. We have an assurance, a blessed assurance, that God will deliver his people and that our trust in God will never, ever go in vain, because he is faithful, he is true. He is not a man that he should lie Everything. I believe this word from front cover to back cover. I don't pick and choose. If the word says it, I believe it. I don't argue it, because who am I to argue with disciples that walked with Christ Right? So God's word says it, I believe it.

Speaker 1:

And so Psalms 91.3, god will rescue you from. Get that in your mindset tonight, god will rescue you from. Get that in your mindset tonight that God will rescue you from every trap and protect you from every sickness and disease. You don't have to be afraid of viruses because God has a shield about you. Amen, amen, about you, amen. And he knows how to keep us away from harm. He provides his word that brings safety to us. Just like this is, psalms 91 is a prayer of protection. I've prayed this over Dave and I for years I don't know Probably clear, back to when Holly Jane was in first grade, and every day. I might not say this verse, the whole thing, but I claim Psalms 91 over my family.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

It's powerful, it's safely, it guides your steps in troubled times up steep hills and through deep valleys. It helps you see traps of doubt, fear and anger that the enemy lays out way before you because he's clever and this is something I always know that our words were containers for the enemy, always know that our words were containers for the enemy. But you know, we feed him ammunition by what we say. We feed him because he don't know, he's not in our thought pattern, he only knows what he gets out of our mouths. That's why we have to be so careful to what we say, because the word says that life and death lie in our tongue Agree, agree. So instead of saying the glass is half empty, say the glass is half full.

Speaker 1:

You know and you totally listen. 64 years say. I have been led by my own natural mind, and now it's time to shift and be led by the Spirit of God. Allow Him to guide my thoughts. And so when my thought starts to go down a hobbly road, I have to bring it back and I have to have self-control. What do you say? Just shut up, holly. Just shut up.

Speaker 1:

Bite your tongue, don't say that. No matter how bad you want to say it, don't say it. And sometimes you want to say it pretty bad. You ever been in that position? Well, I'm just going to say what I want and you get that unction Don't do it. Don't do it. But you know my flesh overrides my spirit. And't do it, don't do it. But you know my flesh overrides my spirit and I do it. And so we have to be so careful of our words, because they're going to, like Pastor Michael spoke on Sunday, it's going to lead you down a path, whether it be wide or whether it be narrow. Your tongue is going to take you down a path. What? This is what I do Now you guys know.

Speaker 1:

I prayed for years to be sanctified, set apart and made different. And so I am different and I know that. But I asked for that, and so if I'm going to say things that I know could cause spiritual damage to me, I apply the blood over the words before they leave my mouth. That don't mean that I can say any smart thing I want to somebody. Do you know what I mean? But I'm conscious enough to know that I'm going to plead the blood over these words because I don't want the enemy to carry them away, because sometimes things do have to be said and you just say God, forgive me. That's a place for forgiveness. God just forgive me. You know I've said something I shouldn't have, I've acted in a way. Just forgive me and he will forgive you. Then forgive yourself and move on. Don't stay there. Don't let the enemy do that. Put you in a little four by four. Then you're just like Right, that's not what God wants. God said who the Son sets free is freed. Indeed, okay, amen.

Speaker 1:

And so Psalms 91.3 is good news. Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty, can say to him you are my defender, you are my protector, you are my God, and in you I trust. He will keep you safe and hidden from danger and from all deadly diseases. Now here's one. You're going down the highway, set in the speed limit 70, and you look down and you're going 80, and you see a policeman. Okay, I always say, father God, hide me under your feathers, hide me under your feathers. And sometimes he does, and sometimes I get caught. But you know, he said he'll keep us from danger.

Speaker 1:

And I believe with, like you know, sometimes you're just traveling, you're thinking and you look down and whoo, that happens. You ever leave your house and pull up to your destination and don't remember nothing. Yeah, you're on autopilot, right, right. And so those are times when that old what's that thing called? What's that thing, malage? What's that thing called? What's that thing, malage? What's that called the spadander, is probably going a little bit too much to the left right. So just hide me under your feathers. Lord, Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

And so when you are in the shelter house of the Lord, the most high, under the shadows of Almighty, just think of that. How big do you think God's shadow is? Do you ever think of that? Right, and here we are, under the shadow of Almighty, under the shadows of Almighty, under the shadows of Almighty, he who dwells in the secret place in the shelter house are under the shadows of Almighty, and so when we are in the shelter house under his canopy, he has given each one of us weapons of warfare, and so we're in a safe place with him. But even though we're in that safe place, we still might have to battle. We still have to stand up to the enemy. You believe that? Okay, so we're under his shadow and he has given us amazing weapons of warfare. And so in our arsenal, our spiritual arsenal, we have weapons that can defeat the enemy. In the name of Jesus, spiritual weapons include the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, a shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the shoes of the gospel and the sword of the spirit, which is your word, the belt of truth, a weapon that represents truthfulness. How many times now?

Speaker 1:

I totally dislike when this happens, but each one of us get in a predicament of some time where you have done something and you are confronted. And when you are confronted, something inside of us, like temptation, tells us to lie instead of being truthful. Say Dave gave me a hundred. We're just saying Dave gave me a hundred dollars for groceries and I took 50 of that and spent it on, holly, and 50 of that and put it in groceries, just saying. And so when he comes home he's like, wow, that $100 didn't go very far. Immediately in me, see, I can't lie, I can lie, but man does God make me squirm. It is bad Like he puts his thumb right on me. It's bad Like I'm guilty. And so then Dave's like, wow, that $100 didn't go very far, holly. I was like, yeah, you know, prices are going up.

Speaker 1:

And then a couple weeks later, did you get new shoes? Oh yeah, yeah, I've had these forever, right, but when I could have just messed up and said, dave, I took $50 that money to spend on myself. But see how the enemy tempts us and just the silliest of things you know, between Dave and I, I should be able to be say, Dave, he shouldn't even have to confront me. I should have said, dave, I only spent $50 on groceries, I'm sorry. I got me some new shoes, I got me a new shirt, went and got my nails done, la-dee-da.

Speaker 1:

But the enemy puts you right in that corner. Any of you ever have that when you have the opportunity to tell the truth but you take that bait and your hand's stuck in that jar like that monkey and you can't get it out. Then you get clubbed. And then here's the irony of it all the very thing the new shoes, the new shirt, the fingernails, the very thing that the enemy used to trip you up immediately he's taking that thing and clubbing you with it. Is that true? The very thing he tripped you up with. Now it's the club to bring down condemnation on you, because there's no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. There is conviction but not condemnation. But that's what Satan brings to us is condemnation.

Speaker 1:

But in the shelter house of God we have a weapon, the belt of truth. All we have to do is fess up, tell the truth First time round, and then you know one lie. Next thing you know there's another one, like oh well, I got those shoes a couple weeks ago. Lie number two when did you get your fingernails done? Oh, don't you remember? We went and did that Sunday after church. Lie number three I just you know, it's just on a roll.

Speaker 1:

And so we have a belt of truth, and then let's see where we're at the shield of faith. It's a weapon that protects us from the enemy's plans and allows us to receive God's grace. And so we walk by faith and not by sight. That's just the ticket of it. We walk by faith and not by sight. We can't get involved in what's going to happen in the next 10 minutes, because the word in the book of Psalms says that we cannot live in dread of what's around every corner. We cannot live in dread. But remember, a few months ago I spoke on that.

Speaker 1:

Sin is what is it doing? Sin? Huh, crouching. Sin is crouching outside your door. That don't mean your house door, that means the door of your heart, just to pounce you. It's just waiting and Satan don't care. He don't care as long as he can keep you from moving forward in christ.

Speaker 1:

That's his plan, okay, um, the helmet of salvation clears up all confusion. So when you know Satan is the author of confusion, that's who he is. He is the father of liars and the author of confusion. And so if he can keep a household in confusion, arguing, fighting, picking, chewing each other up, spitting each other out he is just like ha ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha ha, because there's no peace there. Well, he doesn't want there to be no peace there. My gosh, you might become a united family. He can't have unity. He's totally against that. So he brings in that big old spirit of confusion. He don't care who he uses. He use a brand new baby, if that would work. He use the oldest person, if that will work. Whatever it takes to cause confusion, that's what he'll do.

Speaker 1:

Okay, the gospel of peace, a weapon that represents the peace, that path is all understanding. His name is jehovah shalom. Peace, peace I give to you. That's what jesus said whenever, um he, whenever he was going to go to the cross, he says I'm going to leave you another, the Holy Spirit. I'm going to leave you another Peace. I leave you Peace. I'll leave with you the Holy Spirit. And so let the peace of God. Just guard your heart and mind with it. Don't let the enemy steal your peace, because once he's got your peace, you are on a roll. He has got you on the run like a chicken with its head cut off.

Speaker 1:

Because when you lose peace, then you begin to overthink, then you forget to be in the word. Because that's what Satan is. He is a seed stealer. He just comes in, eats that seed eats the word eats, the word eats, the word eats the word. And the next thing you know he's stole the peace and what's he got going on? There is a bunch of confusion and mean words and everybody's upset and just say no, in the name of Jesus. I declare peace in this house, I declare peace around me in the name of Jesus. And the moment you step out of that scenario, that peace will come upon you and that craziness will come down. It's the truth, guys, try it. It's the truth. The sword of the Spirit is the word of God and I can't emphasize enough for you guys to memorize.

Speaker 1:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High God. Because if we don't have the word in our heart, have the word in our heart and say something happens and something comes up and you're just like where's my Bible? Where's my Bible? I need that scripture. I need that scripture, I need to pray that scripture. He who dwells in the secret place of the most high. Oh, I got that scripture in my heart. I know that. I know that.

Speaker 1:

And you say, pastor Holly, I cannot memorize scripture. Listen, guys, I am anything but the sharpest tack in the box, but the sharpest tack in the box, and God is no respecter of person. So if I can do it, you can do it. You just got to have a want to, you just have to have the desire, you just have to be able to. He who dwells in the secret place of the most high, god. Put that on a recipe card. Stick it at your kitchen sink. Put it on the dash of your car. Put it at the bathroom mirror. Put it on your mirror where you do your makeup. Just he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, everywhere that you look. Put a post-it. Eventually, that part right there will hit your heart. And then when that, when you get he who dwells in the most, in the secret place of the most high, then go to the next one. Shall abide under the shadows of Almighty. You can do it. I have all the confidence in the world, in each one of you, that you can do that if it's the desire of your heart. Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

So here are other weapons of your warfare Prayer, fasting, giving alms, giving offerings, being obedient, personal testimonies. What does God say? We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. So don't be afraid to share your testimony with people, because that's how you overcome. That's my whole ministry, is testimonies of what God has done in my life to bring breakthrough into other people's lives. Unity in Christ, to have that oneness with Christ that you know it says how's that go that nothing could take me away from the love of God? And I know that nothing could take me away from the love of God. And I know that. I know that I want to have oneness with Christ. I want to be all that I can be in him. You know, in him Holly lives, moves and has her being Without him, I am absolutely nothing. The weapons fasting are we all fasting with our our 21 day of prayer? Isn't that good stuff this year? Good stuff? The blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus. All, all authority is in the blood of Jesus and in his authority. The word of God, praising him, giving thanks to him. Intercession weapons of your warfare. I mean when you are laying flat out on the floor and you're just giving the enemy the word. That's how we overcomes with the word binding and loosing the power of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the spirit by your faith. Those are weapons in your arsenal. Can you imagine how big your arsenal is? Amen, discernment.

Speaker 1:

I think discernment is an amazing weapon when you can discern right from wrong. Like you're talking to somebody and, boop, there goes a red flag. That's discernment. Or you're talking to somebody and you just get that feeling like lock, lock it up and put the key in my pocket, not saying no more, because you get that feeling like I don't think this is a safe place. Will you have a discern? You ever have that discern? Like you're going down the road and you always go straight down fourth street, but today I think I'm supposed to turn and go left today, and then you go on up the road and you can see where maybe something happened. That's God telling you to take another route. Or maybe you're getting ready to make a big purchase and all of a sudden you just fill that door shut and like, okay, sometimes that's a hard one, though, when you've got your heart set on something and that door slams shut. But what can you do? You could probably barge through the door, but you wouldn't be living under God's grace right. God's grace right.

Speaker 1:

Spiritual discernment our thoughts, our emotions, our desires. He helps us distinguish between right and wrong. Thank God, he gives us that in us. But I don't know if all people have discernment or if they do, do they operate in it, because I see people, just some people just walk right off the edge. No, looking back, I'm just when Dave and I first got married. Was that 33 years, dave? I'm telling you guys, dave and I lived on the edge. Did you ever live on the edge? It's a dangerous place to be, but we pushed every limit, every bar not a drinking bar, but bar that you could push. We lived on the edge and I remember one time Melody said to me you and Dave scare me. Ian's live so close to the edge and I'm like what we do, what? I didn't even realize it. But now, when I look back, we was hanging on by a thread sometimes. But you know that when you're young and don't have a whole lot of common sense, no discernment, that's what you do. Thank God for his grace and his mercy and his protection on us, right, right Also, and also a lot of times when we have a discerning spirit, it's a battle that is not physical but it's inward.

Speaker 1:

Have you ever felt the storm coming? You know it's coming. You know something's coming. You know it's coming. You know something's coming. And so I'm telling you, when you feel that you get the word of God and you hunker down and you hang on to Jesus in the shelter house, because sometimes those storms of life blow pretty hard, but when we are under God's protection, the enemy's not going to hurt us, but he sure can make a ruckus Right, great.

Speaker 1:

So I think that one of the most amazing weapons that we have is our identity in Christ, and so I got this reflector jacket. So when the enemy sees me, he sees me through the blood of Christ and I am reflecting who Jesus Christ is in me. Amen, I know who I am in Christ. And when the enemy comes at us and we stand at him and tell him that I am a blood-bought child of the king, that I am above and not beneath, I am the head and not the tail, amen, got your reflector jacket on, wear it everywhere you go, put it on in the mornings when you get dressed Right, along with your natural clothes, to be able to reflect Jesus Christ, and that when the devil sees you, he sees you through the blood of Jesus. Amen, I'm just going to wear my reflector jacket. See, when we know who we are in Christ, you know you are a new creation. You're not the person you were before you got saved. You are a brand new person in Christ.

Speaker 1:

Amen, you are completely forgiven, not a third forgiven or half forgiven. Completely forgiven Because when you said, father, forgive me. Forgive me, father, for the things I have said, the things I have done, the way I have acted, he took that sin and he wadded it up in a great big ball and he threw it into the sea of forgetfulness and he will absolutely never bring that up to you again. But our part is to be able to forgive ourselves, and a lot of times that makes us feel like we are in a rut, and you know what a rut is. It's a grave with the ends kicked out. So don't let the enemy put you there.

Speaker 1:

If you have asked Jesus into your heart and he has forgiven you, you walk on freedom street. You are forgiven for anything and everything that you had done in the past, everything, everything, because that's the kind of God we serve. Amen, you are forgiven. You are adopted as God's child. You are possessing inheritance of righteousness. You are possessing inheritance of righteousness. Jesus will empower you by the power of the Holy Spirit to live a life on purpose, free from the chains of sin, because he wants to keep us bound, he wants to keep us in yesterday or the day before or last month. That's where he wants to keep us in yesterday or the day before or last month. That's where he wants to keep us.

Speaker 1:

But we have the ability to walk in freedom. Walk in your freedom, walk in your liberty, walk in it, own it, it's yours, through the blood of Christ, amen. That's what happens when we're in the, the blood of Christ, amen. That's what happens when we're in the shelter, house of God, under the shadows of Almighty, in the secret place, amen. And then when we get all that u ugbies, ungodly belief, ungodly thoughts off of us, then we can share the love of God, we can share his love with others. But before we can do that, guys, we've got to love ourselves. You've got to love who you are in Christ. Love yourself, look in the mirror and tell yourself hey, holly, I love you, you are worthy of love. You are worthy Because a lot of times we don't think we're worthy of nothing. But Christ says that we are worthy to be loved.

Speaker 1:

My identity in Christ is from the work on the cross, not by any of my own flaws, my past mistakes, but it's through Christ, amen. I am adopted as a child of God. How wonderful is that. He gave me to Bob and Vita Langdon, and then he adopts me back into the fold. I am considered a beloved child of God. I am inheriting all the rights and privileges that come with it. Just like when our parents pass and they leave us an inheritance, we have the inheritance of Christ, all authority, all power in Christ. Isn't that amazing? But do we use it? Do we walk in it? Do we share it? That we walk in it? Do we share it? That's where the door's shut. We need to get that door open. Do you know? Two Sundays ago, pastor Michael was ending the service and all of a sudden I see this great, big, rusty gate. You ever see a gate that had been shut forever? And I was like what in?

Speaker 1:

the world does that mean? So Sunday morning in the prayer room, the Lord spoke to me and said that that gate was the gate to our hearts, that that gate was the gate to our hearts and we don't allow that gate to swing wide and so it gets rusty and corroded. Then later that day he tells me that when Paul and Silas was in prison, their praise and their worship is what unlocked the gate, unlocked the prison door, amen. So it's important that we keep our hearts open to God, but somehow or another we shut that up tight. You ever there. You just shut your heart to God and he's you know, the word says it he knocks and knocks and knocks. You have to open your heart up and let him in To all corridors. But sometimes you ever feel him come up on you and you're just like far enough, no, closer, no, you're not touching that area of my life. The deal is, he already knows, he already knows, but he's a gentleman. So the minute we say no, he backs off.

Speaker 1:

Truth, it's the truth. I've seen it happen several times where the Holy Spirit is just moving up on a person and they just like no further. I believe it's fear. I believe it's a fear of the Holy Spirit. Because when the Holy Spirit comes in, this is what's going to happen there's going to be a change, there's going to be a repentance. There's going to be a repentance, there's going to be a conviction and there's going to be a transformation.

Speaker 1:

And a lot of people aren't in for that. They're not in for that. They want to come to church, they want to sit, they want to go home, they don't want all the hoopla that goes with it. And so, when you feel that Holy Spirit come upon you, embrace it. Embrace it and allow him to do a good work in you. A good work, a good work, because that's when you will get free. Amen, amen. I'm telling you, the Holy Spirit works within us to empower us to be able to reflect a life of Christ. Amen.

Speaker 1:

God has a unique purpose for your life. Did you know that God does not call the equipped, but he equips the called? Did I say that right? Yeah, he doesn't call the ones that know how to pray and the ones that know how to pray and the ones that know how to worship, I mean, but he calls the ones that he can equip. He wants to equip us, he wants to equip us, he wants us to have an arsenal. He wants us to know how to use the weapons of our warfare.

Speaker 1:

Otherwise, guys, we're setting ducks. When the enemy comes, we just flow with him. We don't even say stop, we're just like, okay, what should I do? No, no, not today. Satan, you're under my feet. I got my helmet of salvation on, I got the blood of Jesus and you are coming down. You're coming down. You're not running my life, you're. You are coming down, you're coming down. You're not running my life. You're not running my marriage. You're not running my finances. You're not running my kids. You're not doing it.

Speaker 1:

I decided this year I'm not even being concerned with such stuff. I'm not being concerned about somebody taking my place or somebody pushing me out or somebody making me feel like I don't fit. My goodness, I'm a child of God. I fit, so do you? You fit. I live under the shadow of the Almighty. No matter what man has to say about me, god has the final word. Amen, now, listen, my reflector jacket's getting hot, amen, amen, listen. This horn, this shofar, weapon of my warfare, I'll go to my holy mountain. I blew it for a while, not going to work. When do I have my work, dave, when do I have my?

Speaker 3:

work Dave.

Speaker 1:

Sound the alarm on my holy mountain. Sound the alarm over my family. Satan, get your hands off of my kids. Amen, those are my kids. God, give them to me. They're my kids. This is my staff of authority. I have all authority through Jesus Christ. I have authority over every demon, every devil, every sickness. I have that authority because Christ lives in me, right in me, right now.

Speaker 1:

Listen, that's this last bout of covid that we had was different than any covid I ever had, ever a different kind of sickness. It worked on my emotions and I was under the rock. I wanted to quit everything and I even said to Dave what if my want to don't come back? And then I get to thinking as I start to feel better. How many people have lost their want to? How many people have lost their want to, to want to do anything? You know, I can sit in a chair and think, oh, I should go over there and pick them clothes up, but I didn't. Oh, I should probably send a text out in the prayer group, but I didn't. I lost my want to and I had to press. You know, push, pray until something happens.

Speaker 1:

And so take your staff of authority and tell the devil to go back to the slimy pit that he climbed out of. He don't have no authority. God tells me that I tramp on him. His name's on the bottom of my shoes. Satan is under our feet. We have all authority in Jesus Christ. We have all authority in Jesus Christ. Don't let him run agump with your life. Then he gives us the keys to the kingdom. He trusts us All mysteries. The keys to the kingdom, oh my goodness, isn't that an amazing thing. Let me see what it says about him the keys of the kingdom.

Speaker 1:

In spiritual warfare, the keys of the kingdom are often interpreted as a metaphor, as weapons representing authority given by God to the believer to access the open door to the spiritual realm. Ok, so what that means is he gives me and you the power to bind and loose. So what is bound on heaven on earth and loose, so what is bound on heaven On earth Is loosed in heaven, and so I can bind cancer and I can loose healing. When I had GERD, I bound that spirit Of GERD in the mighty name of Jesus and I released peace Like a river To my digestive system. Amen, see. Release peace like a river to my digestive system, amen, see. Dia told me the other day that remember.

Speaker 1:

Last week I talked about Chris D'Amico. Well, he spoke with her and he prayed with her and the disease that she was diagnosed with. He told her that that wasn't in heaven. She was free and healed of that. Amen, amen. So cancer has to go. We have the authority to pull down them. Strongholds in the mighty name of Jesus, amen. I was diagnosed with a precancerous polyp. Dave had prostate cancer. We pulled that down in the mighty name of Jesus and we released health and healing.

Speaker 1:

Do you know that you do not have to be sick to die? You don't have to die sick because health and healing lives in us. We do not have to die sick. In the name of Jesus Christ, because we are whole and complete. We have all authority over every sickness and disease, everything that torments us. We have authority over that.

Speaker 1:

The enemy sits on our shoulder and lies to us constantly, lies to us constantly, and then he gets us having conversations with ourselves and the next thing, you know, we got ourselves so stirred up inside we ain't good. No, good for nothing. Because he's a liar. He comes to do what Kill, steal and destroy. A liar, he comes to do what Kill, steal and destroy, but Christ came to give you abundant, more than you can contain. Amen, these are the things that we can have when we abide under the shadows of Almighty, when we are in that secret place of God operating in the weapons of our warfare. Amen, amen, so binding and loosing.

Speaker 1:

I believe that scripture is Matthew 16, 19. No, that's where Jesus says he gives us all the keys to the kingdom, and so I believe our ultimate I'm about done, I'm sorry, guys the ultimate weapon that he gives us is the blood of Jesus. Because we can apply the blood of Jesus at any time, day or night, because the enemy cannot cross the blood. Apply the blood to your marriage, apply the blood to your kids, apply your blood to the finances, apply the blood of Jesus to everything that concerns you in the name of Jesus, to everything that concerns you in the name of Jesus. Listen, when he went to the cross, he accomplished many things for you and I. So Psalms 91 is a psalm about spiritual warfare and divine protection. It encourages believers to use their faith and to stay close to God and to trust him to protect us. Amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to close there, our dear gracious Heavenly Father. Lord, I thank you and I praise you for the ability for Heavenly Father. Lord, I thank you and I praise you for the ability for the honor Lord to come into the secret place of the Most High. I thank you, father, that under the shadows of Almighty Lord that we will find strength, that we will gain, that we would gain encouragement, father, that we would be able to stand, and when we've done all but stand, we will stand some more. We just thank you and praise you, lord, for Ephesians 6, 10, lord, I thank you, lord, for the armor of God, that we can put the armor on every day of our life and we don't even have to take it off. In the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1:

So, father, I thank you for this word that was spoke today. Father, I did it to the best of my ability, father, god, to bring the truth to your children. I just love you and adore you. I thank you for traveling mercies tonight, lord. I thank you for traveling mercies as we go to work in the mornings. Lord, father, god, I'm reminded my niece Tammy fell and hurt her hip and she's seeing a specialist at the end of the week. Lord, and I just thank you, father, that I bind that pain in the name of Jesus and I release health and healing to her Father God, for everybody who is sick, for whatever it is that kept people away from the house of God this evening. Lord, I just ask you to bless and I thank you, lord, for all that you do In the mighty name of Jesus, that everyone says Amen.
