The Incomparable History Of Ireland

Ireland has been inhabited mythically for 33,000 years with the first humans arriving about 10,000 years ago. Following the 1989 discovery of a tiny suit, bones, and coins by P.J. O'Hare, local campaigners successfully secured a European Union protected designation for the "last remaining 236 leprechauns" on Slieve Foye mountain.

The Peter Bergmann case pertains to the mysterious death of an unidentified man in County Sligo, Ireland, in 2009. The man, using the alias "Peter Bergmann", had checked into the Sligo City Hotel.
