MISSION MADE
Welcome to MISSION MADE — a podcast about faith, family, fitness, and leadership, hosted by Kyle Hammers.
Rooted in Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, do it as if unto the Lord” — this show is all about living with intention and purpose in every area of life. Whether you’re crushing your WOD, leading your family, chasing your calling, or just brushing your teeth — you were created for a mission.
Here, we explore what it means to be Mission Made: living on purpose, for a purpose, to make His glory known in all we do. Expect real conversations, practical wisdom, and encouragement to keep showing up with grit, grace, and Gospel-driven focus.
I’m stoked you’re here. Let’s get to it.

MISSION MADE
Scott Batson - Discipling Men & Reaching The Nations via CrossFit
In this episode of Mission Made, I catch up with Scott Batson, founder of Get Strong Ministries — an incredible movement using fitness as a platform to share the Gospel and disciple men.
Get Strong Ministries leverages the CrossFit gym setting to build community, strengthen faith, and reach the nations. Through local fitness-rooted discipleship groups and short-term missions to CrossFit Get Strong in Nicaragua, Scott and his team are making a global impact for the Kingdom.
Scott and I talk about the origins of Get Strong, his personal journey, and how God is using fitness as a tool to connect, lead, and transform lives. He also shares a powerful message specifically for the men of Mission Made.
This conversation left me fired up, and I believe it will do the same for you.
In this episode:
- The story behind Get Strong Ministries
