Why We Should Not Have Age Limits for Presidents

Flip Side of the Coin Season 1 Episode 27

We continue our discussion on whether we should have age limits for presidential candidates. With our current and most recent presidents being the oldest on record, many are asking the question if it is time to consider adding an upper age limit to who can hole the office of President of the United States.

Today we take the position that we should not impose any sort of limit on presidents. We look through history at some great leaders who led their nations in their senior years, bringing their life experience and wisdom to their position. We also look at the possibility that such a restriction could be argued as being unconstitutional and discriminatory.
