Flip Side of the Coin is a podcast where people can go to explore different viewpoints on many issues. We take an issue and in one episode we examine and explore one viewpoint, and then in the next episode we do the same for the other side of the issue. Our goal is to give our listeners a place where they can explore differing viewpoints and their merits without feeling the need to defend themselves or argue back. The Argument In Support of the Electoral College
We continue our conversation around the Electoral College. This week we look at the position that supporters of the Electoral college take and look at some of the reasons why they support as well as some of the reasons why it was adopted in 1787.
We look at the effect and need for finding balance in representing smaller states vs large states. We look at some of the history of the Electoral college as well as some of the applications it can take today.
