Speaker 2:

Absolutely, absolutely. I think something you just said, husband is so powerful. You talked about receiving a word that allows the power of God to fall, and I think that's the difference yeah. You know when I think about why we do what we do, what the hope and goal of this podcast is and it really is it's about impact.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

And we have impact when the word that is shared has God's glory on the word Amen. And in order for that to happen, of course, the glory has to be on the preacher and the teacher, right, right, in order that the persons are receiving the rama of the word. And so when you said that, that really resonated with me as something to really highlight, because if the glory is not there, the impact won't be made. I love it, and that's what this is all about, because it's about helping the body of Christ to live, oh, my goodness, and not die. And in order for us to do that, we need to be fed the word of God, right, amen. And so when you said that, that just really hit me a certain kind of way, because I know sometimes people can get regimented and just hearing a word as opposed to the word.

Speaker 2:

Yeah yeah, living, living, living, living, living, living, absolutely that can shift your life into, into our continue on the journey that God has in store for you, and I think that's just so, so very important. Impact, impact, impact.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love that. So we're going to develop that as a tag line. I love it. Okay, so our tag line is going to be glory, impact change.

Speaker 2:

I love it. Yeah, yeah, it'll be our new tag line.

Speaker 1:

So when we say daily bread podcast, even when we close out with glory, impact change.

Speaker 2:

I just love that. That's so good. Thank you, Angela, for that.

Speaker 1:

All right so we're about to dive in, angela's going to pray for us. What an anointed woman of God to pray, can I tell you. I mean we just need to get her a prayer channel and a prayer thing going on for folks to connect with her for prayer. She's an intercessor. The glory of God is on her, always has been for prayer. You talk about praying and revelation come and breakthrough come. I thank God for the anointing on her as a prayer intercessor at all dimensions, for warfare, for exhortation, for devotion, for adoration, any of those levels of prayer. She is an intercessor. So she's going to open us up with prayer and we're going back into I know y'all love this topic I know you did because so many people loved it navigating uncertainty. We're still living in uncertain times. We have a part three today we're going to do with you and we pray it can bless your soul. So we're going to bring up just a few nuggets from the last time.

Speaker 2:

But navigating uncertainty, part three, take it away woman of God, come on, join me in prayer. Father, we bless and thank you, and God, we just give you the glory, the honor and the praise. We thank you for opportunity and.

Speaker 2:

I like how that translates into so many things. God, we thank you for opportunity of life, opportunity of health and strength, opportunity to be forgiven of sins, opportunity to grab hold of today what maybe we didn't grab hold of yesterday. So, god, we thank you for everything and every opportunity that you have afforded us. We thank you for this opportunity to share the word of the Lord, god. We pray in the name of Jesus, that, god, you would touch us, annoy us afresh for this.

Speaker 1:

Assignment Hallelujah.

Speaker 2:

For this session God.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

In the name of Jesus Christ that we will say God, what needs to be said.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, get some water. Woman of God, yeah, the devil can't stop me. I'll pick up right now. I'm about to shut, take eight. I'll go in for you, father, in Jesus' name. We thank you so much for what's going to happen, for lives changed and for the word that's going to come forth in Ramah right now. In the name of Jesus, angela, go right ahead and pick up prayer. Oh, God.

Speaker 2:

We thank you for the transformation, God, we thank you for the renewal. God, we thank you for the God, for the rewards that are going to be received. In the name of Jesus, Thank you, God, that your word is about to drop in good ground. Hallelujah, yes. And we thank you, God, that your people will be edified.

Speaker 2:

Oh God and then, god, you will be glorified. God and the devil shall continually be horrified in the name of Jesus. So, god, we thank you that you are about to have your way, that you're about to move. God, I feel like I heard the Spirit of the Lord say there are mountains that are about to be moved. I thank you, god, that things are being shifted in the spiritual Ramo. God, and we give your name the glory. Now, god, do what you do, hallelujah. We submit to your will, we submit to your way. Have your way, o great God, that you are in the mighty name of Jesus. We say thank you, god, and we say amen, amen, amen, amen.

Speaker 1:

Amen. Thank you so much, pastor, a woman of God, and let me set the devil on notice.

Speaker 2:

Let me set the under on notice.

Speaker 1:

Let me set hell on notice. Guess what? Satan, hell and underworld. We are not afraid of you. Come on somebody. You don't intimidate nobody here. You don't scare anybody here. Well, we operate under the name of Jesus and under the blood of the anointed one, the Messiah. The anointed one and his anointing, the one that Gabriel told Mary that she was impregnated with and when she said his name would be Emmanuel, god with us Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying not to go into why I go now. Hallelujah, I'm a child of God and I would never I would never, never, ever ever, ever ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever ever.

Speaker 2:

Hallelujah, glory to God. I got so much running through me right now.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, come on, we're okay. So we're going to try to keep this podcast for y'all. We apologize, but we don't, but that devil tried to come in here for just a minute. So we had to go ahead and deal with that and let him know. You don't intimidate nobody here. Okay, All right, so Pastor.

Speaker 2:

I was thinking about this topic, this topic of navigating uncertainty. I was not. I had no idea I was going to choke, yeah, and just being able to navigate things like that, right. So what happened? I'm going to keep going Right. But then it's good. When you got help, come on somebody Hallelujah. When you are connected to someone who doesn't mind stepping in, come on when something's shaking with you. Glory be to God. Come on so see what the devil meant for bad. I see how God makes it good, because he showed us, he just gave us a great example of how to navigate uncertainty, and one thing is making sure that you're partnered up with the right people. Come on.

Speaker 2:

Making sure that you're connected with the right believers.

Speaker 1:

Come on Glory be to God, come on.

Speaker 2:

Somebody who will step in and fight the devil on your behalf, why you're choked. Come on. Come on, get yourself together, man, that's good, that's a word.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, when bills got you choked. Come on when life gets you. Come on when the enemy uses devices. Yeah, a dark strategy in your finances. That's good when you have more bills than you have money.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because we all have bills, but what happens is oftentimes, with fees going up, with extra things at the school can put on a parent's, on a family for to get the child everything they need in school. With, with taxes going up, with prices going up in the grocery store, with with certain with job laws, the enemy can work a dark strategy against you financially. That calls you to be choked in your finances. Yes, yes, and so I just wanted to make sure I added clarity when I talked about being choked in your finances and not just make it just a cliche a church cliche that I throw out there.

Speaker 1:

I wanted to give some some solid context to that so a person can understand what it means to kind of get choked in your finances not poor stewardship, but to actually get choked up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. And when you choked up, you need to be yoked up.

Speaker 2:

That's what the woman of God was saying.

Speaker 1:

It's good to be yoked up before you get choked up and I want to talk to people. Let's build on this, because we're talking about daily bread and I'm going to talk to people who feel lonely, who feel alone or who have a small circle of real friends. Yeah, whereby you don't read, you don't really feel all that connected with spiritual people like that. You may even have a church, but in your church home, what are two things? You have trust issues where you don't really trust people, or you don't see anybody that you feel like you can trust to share that you're choked up in your finances.

Speaker 1:

But let me tell you something when you're not, when you're not yoked up to a physical person, come on somebody, but you're choked up in your finances. Don't you forget. You yoked up with the Holy Spirit. Yeah, he is the paraclete I like that. The paraclete means the one who comes alongside of us and he walks with us, though he lives in us.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, come on somebody.

Speaker 1:

And so I think this is a good place to start.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Navigating uncertainty in the Holy Ghost.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's good, that's so good.

Speaker 1:

Navigating uncertainty with the help of the Holy Spirit. So it is an important for every believer to understand, although we're living in uncertain times, your stability, your emotional stability, your mental stability, which the two of those combined make your psychological stability Watch this, your word life stability which comes out of your heart, stability, all of that can be balanced out, it can be leveled out and made healthy through being yoked up with the Holy Ghost, in an intimate relationship with him, as he speaks to you, guides you, nudges you and comforts, because the Bible says the Holy Ghost come and give us, comfort you, in the midst of that uncertainty. Pastor, help me break down here the purpose of the Holy Ghost, the works of the Holy Ghost and how you experience the Holy Ghost in helping you on a navigate uncertainty. Let's talk about that Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

You know, as soon as you said it, you know I was, my first thought was life should not be lived without reliance on the Holy.

Speaker 1:

Spirit, holy Spirit, come on, come on.

Speaker 2:

It should not, and so, especially when we are trying to navigate uncertain times because we are definitely living in uncertain times it is good to lean in. That's what I like to say it's good to lean in as well as to lean on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So Jesus said that when he was sharing with the disciples that he was leaving he said, I will send one other, in other words in my place, and he will give you comfort. So we understand that the Holy Spirit is a comforter.

Speaker 1:

He's a comforter.

Speaker 2:

He is the one that will be with you and never leave you, and the Bible even talks about God will never leave us, nor forsake us. And the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, so she is yet another form of God. He is with us through the lonely times, the tough times, the scary times, the happy times. He's a forever present.

Speaker 1:

Help.

Speaker 2:

Come on, I hope not only in the times of trouble, but he's always present, so he is our comforter. And when I think about the Holy Spirit, we think about when Paul laid his hands on Timothy and told him to stir up the gift. I love that Stir up the gift because he and I'm gonna go.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna go there.

Speaker 2:

Because sometimes we want to ask God to stir up the gift and that's not the order that it goes. He's like I've given you the gift. It is your responsibility to activate the gift. So the Holy Spirit is, in fact, the gift. The gift is out of the Holy Spirit that the gifts that we use in the body to build up the kingdom are are are distributed from. It is from the gift of the Holy Ghost right that the spiritual gifts come right and so that is how he is expressed.

Speaker 2:

It is through the gifts. When we speak in tongues, we are expressing the Holy Ghost right activation of the Holy Ghost. When we're laying on our hands, when we have that gift, it is an expression of the Holy Ghost. I feel the Holy Ghost right now working on the inside of us.

Speaker 2:

I have a gift to teach and I feel like I'm in my teaching gift right now, and so I feel the presence of activation of the Holy Ghost happening, and so that is how he is demonstrated. It is through the activation of the gift that the birth out of the Holy Ghost Wow, how do I then it's the third part of your question how do I depend on or I think that was the question on the Holy Spirit? I'm listening, I'm quiet. I'm trying to make sure that my voice is not louder than his voice. Glory to God. I'm trying to make sure that my way is not louder than the way that he is directing me.

Speaker 2:

The Bible talks about the Holy Spirit being the one who will approve us, who will affirm us. He is the one that will correct us when we're out of order, and so when we learn how to be quiet enough and have an intimate enough relationship with God, we can be more comfortable with leaning into the Holy Spirit as opposed to depending on our own strength, because it is not based on our strength, but it is the strength that comes from the Holy Ghost, my God, because the Bible even talks about when I'm weak. That's when his strength is made perfect. It comes through the Holy Ghost. You know what I'm saying. I have God in me to draw on. All I have to do is be willing to draw on him.

Speaker 1:

My.

Speaker 2:

God, and that is leaning in to the Holy Ghost when I draw on that which God has placed on the inside of me and his name is Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my God Lean in.

Speaker 2:

I feel like I need to tell somebody that?

Speaker 1:

That almost feels like a preach.

Speaker 2:

Come on, lean in, we have to learn how to lean in, lean in. What is the Holy Spirit saying to me today? What is the Holy Spirit wanting me to do today? What? Is the Holy Spirit, trying to get my attention to what to do. What is the Holy Spirit? Holy Spirit, what are we doing today? Come on.

Speaker 2:

What are we doing today? Hallelujah, I may have an agenda, but Holy Spirit, what you say? Yes, hallelujah, holy Spirit. Does that look like a good idea right there? Is that what we're doing today? We have to learn how to lean in to the power, because the Holy Spirit is the power of God living on the inside of us.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

That in and of itself, husband is amazing, come on, that there is a portion of God that lives on the inside of me. Okay, jesus, okay. Jesus, hallelujah, let me I didn't want from podcast to preach. I feel like a whole sermon. I think that okay, come on.

Speaker 1:

But that's why I love the anointing on your life and the power behind it and the energy that you bring, and so I want to let's frame this, what you've said. Let's take this powerful word of importation that you've given and frame it into a construct so that we can make sure that it settles in people. So there are four particular things I heard while you were talking, and then we're going to look at some scripture and some other stuff to back everything up that you're saying. Four particular things that I heard. The first one was sanctification. So I'm going to give all four and then we'll come back to them. I heard sanctification, I heard activation, I heard manifestation and then I heard participation. I love it when you was talking about lean in Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

So let's go back.

Speaker 1:

When you talked about how the Holy Ghost lives on the inside of us, you were then talking about to me, sanctification, because we have in the Trinity Father, son and Holy Ghost. But there are three in one God the Father in creation, god the Son in redemption, god the Holy Spirit. In sanctification slash regeneration, because he regains us, because we're born again and made a spiritual being into the kingdom of God. So it's genes, he's regi, he's rednaing us to be children of the Most High God. And so when we are saying it's the Holy Spirit's job to come into us when we're saved, he then comes into us by the Spirit and he dwells inside of us and it's His job to sanctify us, to change us from our old ways to our new ways. And it is a process and it takes time, it is a form of deliverance, but it is His job to be. That's why Jesus said he is the teacher and he is the God, because he teaches us a kingdom way of living. He guides us into a Holy Ghost field God way of thinking and a God, holy Ghost way of doing things. So he comes in and he takes out our old appetites, old desires and old emotions through the process of learning and growing in His Word, when our mind is being renewed, the Holy Ghost is taking what we're learning and he's embedded and seeding it into our soul. So we start acting differently than we used to. And he sanctifying us day by day, though my outward man Parrish my inward man, the Bible says, is being made new day by day.

Speaker 1:

So sanctifying because he dwells on the inside. So God will make you who he called you to be. He's going to bring you into who he called you to be. He's going to bring you in the destiny and purpose because the Holy Ghost is on the inside, sanctifying Hallelujah. And so he's in there. He's leading and guiding and comforting. That comfort part is important because you could be changing my mind, but if I ain't got no peace in the process, why you changing me? And I'm still, I'm still worried that I don't transform completely into who you desire me to be. So, as he's doing the surgery, he's giving you the anesthesia at the same time, through the peace and the comfort. Come on in here.

Speaker 2:

The doctor might work on you, but he going to give you some anesthetic to calm you down while I'm at it.

Speaker 1:

OK, I ain't going to end, go there, but anyway, sanctification. Then I heard activation, because you said it is the Holy Spirit that gives you the gifts and then he activates discernment, he activates healing, he activates faith, he activates service, he activates the gift of administration, he activates love. They are His gifts and he activates them when he chooses and when he pleases on the inside of you. And then when he activates them and you're willing, then you come into manifestation, because it's one thing for them to be active inside of you, but for them to manifest, it is the manifestation of them that we see in our lives. And you talked about the action of the Holy Ghost, this, and action of the Holy Ghost that and being quiet. That moves you into participation. You have to participate in a relationship with the Holy Spirit, absolutely Acknowledge Him, absolutely Accept that he's there, believe that he's real. That's it. Understand. I ain't got to see Him to know that he's real, he's inside of me.

Speaker 2:

That's right, that's right.

Speaker 1:

I don't have to figure it all out. I don't have to be so intellectually astute to search out reason and logic that I don't have faith enough to believe that God is on the inside of me working a miracle. I'd rather believe for healing and get it than to not believe and stay sick. Talk to me somebody I know that's right. Ok, I got to get out of there, that's real but.

Speaker 1:

I heard those four things and I wanted to come back and deal with them and give a construct and a context to what you say. I'm going to let you jump in because I don't want to hold your tongue.

Speaker 2:

Oh no, You're good. All of that is good. There's so much that I was thinking about when you were talking, but all good.

Speaker 1:

So for someone who may need just the basic understanding of what the scripture talked about with the Holy Spirit and how he is with us. If you remember, in Mark I'm just going to use Mark, chapter one, verse eight, as a reference to the Holy Spirit being with us, but this text is in other of the synoptic gospels, but in Mark, chapter one, verse eight, john the Baptist said this. He said I indeed baptize you with water. So he is bringing, he is reminding the Jewish people and all who come that water baptism is important. He said now I'm baptizing you in this water, in this Jordan. I'm taking you down, immersing you, and I'm bringing you back out and I'm taking you through water baptism. And the church understands that. He says, but he with a capital eight, talking about the Messiah that everybody was expecting to come and they knew that this Messiah was prophesied to be the Son of God, to be the Christ.

Speaker 1:

John the Baptist was saying that time is coming now and he's coming, but he's coming to usher us into a different kind of kingdom, into the kingdom of God, a new kingdom, not the kingdom that's in this world. In this world's kingdom we get baptized in water, but in the spirit kingdom, in God's kingdom, in the kingdom of God. He said he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit. Now let's look at that Water baptism means to be immersed for a body down into water and come back up. You know, symbolically of being cleansed of our sin. But if Jesus is gonna baptize us with the Holy Spirit, that means he's the only one that could fully immerse us. Come on, hallelujah. The Holy Spirit ain't no little itty bitty thing like a drop of water. The Holy Spirit is I'm not present like God, and it is everywhere at the same time.

Speaker 1:

But see, you have to accept Jesus before the realm. The kingdom realm surrounds you and you are implanted and embedded into the kingdom realm. It's a spiritual thing. So he says I'm gonna baptize you in the spirit. Is what Jesus is gonna do, hallelujah. So he fully immerses us into the spirit and we come up. If you will a new creation, a spiritual being. That's how we're born again, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

In some circles of the church we say we are born through the womb of the spirit. So if you see like a woman's womb and a child comes out of that woman's womb and that creation is alive, it's just like being born again of the Holy Ghost. You come out of the womb of the spirit and now you are a different being. You are a new creation because you are a living, breathing, spiritual child of God.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, when you said you talked about being. Immersed, immersed, thank you, Immersed by Jesus, right Right. Is that what you said?

Speaker 1:

Right the death bearing resurrection.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so I thought about, and you talked about, of course, how the Holy Spirit is, not this small portion, it's being he's the only one that could fully immerse us right, and he's all knowing that hit me real good. He's all knowing, now that's so important because we're talking about navigating uncertainty. Now look at what God has done. Come on Through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Come on, because he sends this power.

Speaker 1:

Come on his spirit.

Speaker 2:

Yes, come on. That lives on the inside. That is all knowing.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

So when I'm navigating, oh, this is so good to be in. Lord, help me to say this like I need to yeah, it is amazing that when I don't know that I've been yoked up, come on, like you talked about. Come on With someone who does know, come on. Oh that Come on, so important so this is why it is important for us and that's why we're talking about it, because it's important for us to understand that being in a relationship with the Holy Spirit will help to navigate the uncertain times, because he's going to tell us things that we know not of Come on.

Speaker 2:

He's going to share things with us that we don't even know. That's coming. He's going to warn us of dangers If we do this. This is on the rise, Come on. So don't go that way. Go this way. He is the one who knows everything.

Speaker 1:

Everything.

Speaker 2:

So when I'm navigating, uncertainties ie the things I do not know- the things I don't understand. I need someone on my team and on my side, as a matter of fact, instead of team. I'm on his team, but I need somebody that's on my side who knows everything. Come on, Isn't that good? Oh, that's Just this practical, beautiful nugget. Why wouldn't I Take the expert of all expert? Wow with me Wow. On my journey of Navigating away, I have never taken.

Speaker 1:

Come on, jesus, my God on navigating a way that has taken me come on that part. Because, because we don't always find purpose, sometimes purpose finds us so real, come on, we don't always find a spouse. Sometimes a spouse finds us. We don't always find an opportunity.

Speaker 2:

Sometime opportunity find us and we need to know when it's ours. We need to know. We need to know you guys. No, you Don't know. I keep saying, I keep seeing feet.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I see somebody walking. I can only see from the waist down.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and.

Speaker 2:

I see a path. Yeah and what keeps going off in my spirit. Yeah is how the word of God yeah is a lamp unto my feet come on and a light unto my path, that did it.

Speaker 1:

That was a, that was a word picture, that what they call it. I think so, when you know, I think when a picture gives you, you can see the picture and get, and get the context and get the Comprehension comprehend better about this picture and you got it to go along with the words that are being explained to you.

Speaker 1:

You. God, the Holy Spirit just gave you what I was thinking, but he helped you put it in a really simplistic format. I was thinking about the word Navigating because I titled navigating uncertainty. Navigating is basically direction. It's direction. Yeah, a pilot Navigates the plane, if you will, because he has the London, london longitude, latitude or the aerial Specs to know which way to go and where to turn. And then you know, a captain of a ship never a ship Navigates that ship in longitude and latitude in a certain direction. Yeah, so we're talking about, you know, having direction. Okay, for uncertainty, navigating answer. So we're talking about decisions.

Speaker 1:

Yeah you know. So we're talking about Decisions for direction, yeah, making decisions For every direction you're trying to go in life. Yeah whether it is a family direction, whether it is a health direction, whether it is direction in choosing a therapist or counselor, psychot, what is direction in? You know, how do I dress in this culture? Whether it's direction for and people don't understand that God is in the little things too. You know, come on, somebody. You know, I need direction for career, I need direction for my son.

Speaker 1:

My, I need direction for college or school, so we're talking about God is talking about having the Holy Spirit with you. Yeah, have me, holy ghost, to say this the way I want to say this Having the Holy Ghost being yoked up, mm-hmm, so you don't get choked up with the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus said is the revealer of truth. That part right there yeah he is the teacher of all things, yeah, and he shall lead you and guide you, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So when you need directions for decision man, there's no better person to help you with all of it, no one them the Holy Spirit, absolutely, because he is who you are yoked up with, absolutely, so you don't get choked up, hallelujah, in any area of your life, and when you do, he help you get out of absolutely, come on absolutely, and I you know, and I think what's important for us to know and for the listeners to know is that when you Learn, or when you begin, or as you continue, wherever you are on the spectrum, to lean in or lean in more with the Holy Spirit, you have to remember that your way of doing it or your intellectual capabilities Cannot reign Above the way of the Holy Spirit right.

Speaker 2:

Because sometimes I think that's where we get. We get messed up right. Because we want the things that the Holy Spirit reveals, teaches, or the way in which he leads us to make sense. Right. But when we think about scripture, yeah when God says my ways are not yours and my thoughts are higher, that is a clear indication that God, basically, is helping us to understand. There are gonna feel the Holy Ghost. They're going to be some things that I say to you. You ain't gonna get it immediately right.

Speaker 2:

They're gonna be some ways that I tell you to take that what makes sense to you over to God, right. But when we think about Relationship, right, which, as we're talking about the power of the Holy Spirit, of being yoked up with the Holy Spirit, we have to be in relationship with God.

Speaker 2:

Yeah because otherwise we will allow our ways yeah, to get in the way of his way, yeah, and then get upset when it doesn't go right, yeah. So we have to remember as we're leaning in, we have to remember Don't let you get in the way of what the Holy Spirit has said.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, if you are the type of person that that you do not have a regular and growing process of listening to God first over your own thoughts, choosing the word over your own thoughts, that's gonna be a hard pattern to adopt. It's gonna be hard to break listening to you if you don't start practicing now. If you don't start practicing now and growing in your trust in God, growing in your belief that he has all wisdom and all knowledge and he cares about your outcomes, all of them. Whatever you care about, God cares about more. He does.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God. There's no way you can care about something and God not even care at all about what you care about. That's why Jesus said cast all your cares on me, for I care for you. So he said, I am equally yoked up with your cares, but because I love you more than you love yourself. That's real. I care about what you care about, and even more than you care about it. So because it's important to you, it's important to him, and somebody needs to know that.

Speaker 2:

That's so good.

Speaker 1:

Because oftentimes the devil will make us think God didn't care about the things that's important to us, because they're not changing at the pace which we want them to change. And when they change, they're not changing in the measure in which we want them to change or in the direction that we want them to. But that doesn't mean the measure, the direction is not that which is best for us, and God knows that.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, and I was thinking when you were talking, something that is so important to do. If you're learning, if you're just learning to hear from the Holy Spirit and you're still in that in-between place, was that me? Was that God? Was that the enemy? Surround yourself with Godly people. Make sure that you surround yourself with people who have Godly wisdom. That is so important so that they can help you in your hearing and give you words of wisdom, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

The moment you say that, and what I heard was and this can come to other people or from God himself what I heard was keep listening. When you can't get that answer, keep listening. That is so real.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that listening can come to other people. Absolutely the listening can come to a sermon that you hear. Absolutely the listening can come to the Holy Spirit when you read the Word. Absolutely the listening can come to any measure that God wants to send the Word through. That's right. Come on somebody. Yeah, come on somebody. The Pharisees told Jesus when he was coming into Jerusalem, when the people on Palm Sunday, when people laid down palms and their coats and they were crying out Hosanna, hosanna, and they tried to get the people to quiet down, the Pharisees, jesus says if these people don't cry out, then these rocks, rocks will. That's right, these inanimate objects, these pieces of stone that don't have a soul or a mouth, will begin to cry out.

Speaker 1:

Begin come on somebody to speak my glory. So God will use anyone and anything to speak glory over your life and direction for your life. Come on somebody.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely, and that's why it's important for us not to put God in a box. That's right. Not to put limits on God, and the reality is as we live and grow and develop. The reality is is we're learning more and more and more about the God that we serve.

Speaker 2:

Oh, my God so we have to be so mindful. Don't put God in a box. God ain't going to do this, god is going to do that. God will switch up some stuff on you and blow your mind. You know what I mean. And so we have to be very flexible in our relationship with God, because God doesn't always and I'm going to use this just kind of whatever, I can't think of the word right now but he doesn't always color in the box Come on he doesn't color.

Speaker 2:

God doesn't stay in the lines because he didn't draw the lines. Come on somebody, Come on somebody, and so he will color outside of the box and you will begin to think that the picture is messed up. Come on somebody and God is like no, it looks exactly how I intend for it to look because the vision I have is not the vision you have.

Speaker 2:

Glory to God. So we got it. Oh, I felt the Holy Ghost you have. We have to learn how to be flexible. Oh, he coloring outside the box. Oh, ok, so that means that. Oh, this picture started out looking like a house. Oh, now it's a boat.

Speaker 1:

Come on.

Speaker 2:

Because he colored outside the line. Come on and we just have to be willing to be flexible and move how he says move, and the Holy Spirit helps us to be able to do just that.

Speaker 1:

Yes, absolutely. That was a wonderful pass. Thank you so much. So there's another passage of scripture that is very foundational for what we're talking about here, and it's in Luke 12 and 12. And you were talking about the Holy Spirit cares about the little things. He's the revealer, he's the teacher, and that he's so with us to give us direction right in decisions that. Look at what Luke 12 and 12 says. Luke 12 and 12 says this and I remember the context of this passage of scripture Jesus was talking to his disciples about not fearing and going forth and sending them out, and he said this.

Speaker 1:

He said for the Holy Spirit, listen now we'll teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. So he was saying don't worry about what to say when you come before the magistrates. He was telling his disciples you're going to be taken in front of magistrates. You're going to be brought in front of people. What you say going to be called on the carpet. People are going to question what you say. People are going to challenge you on what you say. There are going to be times when you're going to probably could have some concern about what you're going to say. So you need direction about what to say in a job interview direction about what to say to a person you're trying to be in a relationship with, or men in a relationship with. What to say to your children about a certain thing. What to say to yourself? Oh, come on Holy.

Speaker 2:

Ghost. That was powerful right there.

Speaker 1:

What to say to yourself. Look at what this verse says. Jesus told him don't even worry about it. What to say? Watch this, the Holy Spirit. It didn't say he just gonna give you what to say. He said he's gonna teach you it's powerful, in that very hour what it is to say.

Speaker 1:

So, the Holy Ghost, don't just come to give us a. Give us a fish to eat for a day. You know that old saying give a man a fish and eat for a day. He comes to teach us how to fish right, so that we can eat all of our days. So in the moment that the Holy Ghost is giving you what to say, you must understand he is taking your mind and heart through an experiment. He doesn't just tell you what to say, but some kind of way your mind comes into the comprehension that it is the best thing to say. You know you're getting ready to say it, but at the same time you start seeing oh, okay, I see. Why are you see the effect of? Why he had you to say what you said? So he's a teacher. So he's not coming to just give you something, he's coming to make you somebody.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's good cuz, that's real, absolutely how do you teach somebody in that same hour what to say? Let's you be God enough to consume the mind and heart all at the same. That's it. I teach you in a millisecond what to say to this person that's asking you something. Hallelujah.

Speaker 2:

You, even when you look at the scenario that's happening here. In Luke 12, he said you're gonna need to defend you gonna you're gonna think you need to defend yourself, but I'm gonna teach you see that, don't even go together, come on. There are times if I, if I need to defend myself, already know I know what I'm gonna say, because I know what the truth is. You know I'm saying I don't need. This is not a teacher moment, right? When you think about, when you think about having to look at the context, don't worry. He says don't worry about how you're going to defend yourself, because you're being brought in, because Somebody has said something about something. Right? When we need to defend ourselves, we know what to say, because we know what the lie is.

Speaker 2:

Yeah but in that moment, and this is why we have to be flexible. Yeah because in a moment I feel like I'm I need to defend myself, right, I'm not really looking to be taught right but the. Holy Spirit says but you need to be taught. You know what I'm saying and that is what's so beautiful about God is these moments when you, when you can pause enough. Right to say Holy Spirit. What are we doing Right? What do we do in this moment? What do we saying in this?

Speaker 2:

That is beautiful, that's beautiful because he's not only is he gonna give you and you just said it what to say, right, he's teaching you at the same time right. Because you think about that. I do need to be taught. If you, if you finna, tell me this is a teaching moment, when I thought this was a fighting moment See, that's powerful, that's that is powerful. Oh my god, I thought I needed to fight right here. Wait but you're telling me I need to be a student.

Speaker 1:

You know what you remind me In the garden, when, when the Roman soldiers and the Pharisees and the people guards, yeah, came to get Jesus when he was betrayed by Judas.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and Peter said I got this, I got it. He pulled that knife out of his sheaf. He's, don't worry, yes, don't worry, gee, I got you, I got you, big boss. He, great, great, I swear, to cut that soldier ear right off his head, right, right, defending, defending the ear, hit the dirt, hit the ground. Man done, grab his head falling on the ground. Jesus done, stopped everything in slow mo. Slammer told Peter wait a minute, put that sword down. Teaching moment in that moment.

Speaker 1:

That's in that moment he taught you put the sword away, exactly because he who lives by that type of defending himself, who? He who lived by that sword man, is gonna die by that same man. But but now look at that from the other side. In other words, what he wasn't saying was, or what he was implying was this but he who lives by these teachers, I shall live by these teachings, oh my god, come on somebody Implication, because that's beautiful.

Speaker 1:

The sword was the law. That's right. I for an eye, yeah. So when Peter drew that sword, he was practicing the law absolute. Jesus gave him a word which was prepped. The word is grace. So Jesus was saying the law leads to death, but grace leads to eternal life.

Speaker 2:

Come on somebody after they receive all of this that we're giving you in the mighty, yeah mighty, name of Jesus, our lord and say come on somebody that's beautiful and you know, and now I will say now, in my opinion, that speaks to Again why it's important to lean in, hear from, be led by the holy spirit, because there will, there may be situations that show up and you feel like you're supposed to fight. Yeah and the lord is saying, no, I need you to be a student right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

You understand what I'm saying. When times are uncertain, sometimes we go back to what we used to do, right, oh, I feel the holy ghost, right. But when God is in control, yeah, when we allow Jesus to really be lord of our life. Yeah and we allow the holy spirit to really be the teacher, really be the God, really be the one that's going to show us the way, we'll find out that our old ways won't work in a new season.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. Glory to God that's so good how we used to do.

Speaker 2:

Things don't work in a season right now. Right because God and you said it, because the holy spirit is making us into right something else. We can't see it. That's why it's uncertain. So many things are uncertain because we can't see it. But once we are led, or put ourselves in a position where we are led by the holy spirit, and we're. We're. We're striving really hard and diligently. Let me say what he says, because I really don't know what's next.

Speaker 2:

Let me do what he says do, because I don't really know who he's making me to be. Glory to God, let me. Let me let the word be my God and not my, my worry or not my, my, my anxiety or not my frustration. Like, let me not do what I did in the last season, because I'm in this new place and a lot of times that's why it's so uncertain, because it's a place I've not been or a place I've been thrusted into that have not experienced before, and it's so important, so so Important, if I really want to be who God says I am, if I really want to become, evolve, develop and all of the things According to what I believe God has in store for me. Yeah, I have got To listen to the holy spirit Wow.

Speaker 2:

I just I got to say this again because what I did in my last season Won't work in my new season. New season.

Speaker 1:

Wow, oh my god. And so we're running out of time, but we're not running out of word here. We wish we could stay with you longer, but I want to wrap up. Let's take three minutes. We're actually probably about a few minutes over what we keep our podcast. But I want to say this because I want to bring two more scriptures. I think it's gonna bring this all the way home because we brought, we took the. We brought them from the Jordan being baptized and Jesus coming to baptize you in the spirit.

Speaker 1:

We talked about who the spirit is, being the comfort under revealer to goddess and directors, but I want just people see how you get this holy spirit and I want to show you how he colors outside the lines Amen, right.

Speaker 1:

So the first one is in Luke, chapter one, verse 67, and I want you to check this out, pastor and Angela. It says now, his father, zacharias, was filled with the holy spirit and prophesied, saying Okay, and I brought that out because I wanted somebody to see first of all that here is Zacharias Before the we get to the book of acts. Here is Zacharias being filled with the holy spirit. Before the holy spirit came down on the apostles when they were in the upper room in the book of acts. See, because I want people to understand that the holy spirit is not, is not even contained to church culture. The holy spirit ain't even contained to church tradition and church treating, because a lot of people say the holy spirit hadn't come yet until he came in acts and came and fell on the apostles. Well, he fell on the apostles that they would have power to go out and be Jesus's witnesses. He said after the holy ghost come upon you, then you're gonna have power to be my witnesses.

Speaker 2:

But the holy ghost was already filling people, that's right because he feels Zacharias in the book of Luke chapter one and verse 60 and he began.

Speaker 1:

His father, zacharias, was filled with the holy spirit and prophesied. And begin the prophesied. We want to ask Can you read verse 68 there?

Speaker 2:

absolute Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them Come on.

Speaker 1:

So the holy spirit came inside of Zacharias, filled him with the holy spirit, with his presence.

Speaker 2:

So Zacharias can prophesy about Jesus being the Messiah. Yes, sir.

Speaker 1:

Right now I'm gonna take y'all to acts, chapter two, to one, the scripture we all know absolutely. When the holy ghost fell on the apostles, I just wanted you to see that he filled. Come on, he fell in acts, chapter two, but he filled in Luke 167. Come on somebody, it says. And they were all filled with the holy ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance.

Speaker 2:

That's verse two. Verse verse four, verse four acts, chapter two, verse four.

Speaker 1:

So people may be thinking that, okay, I heard what y'all saying about this holy ghost, but I want y'all to see that he has come for us all Absolutely, and he continued. Every time a believer is born again, the holy spirit comes in them to fill them with power to be sanctified, to be renewed, to become God's witnesses and to have power for the manifestation of the gifts and for the drawing and the purposes into the kingdom of God. So you don't have to feel like, well, I don't, I don't know if I have the whole spirit or if I can have the holy spirit, or how do I get the whole spirit to help?

Speaker 2:

Close us out. Look here. I was just going to say if you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1:

You have the Holy.

Speaker 2:

Spirit. You have the Holy Spirit, amen, wow, and I just don't know any other way to live except with the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1:

I love that and she means that y'all, I mean it. Let me tell y'all, woo man, sometimes I'm trying to make what I think are simple decisions for the family, for the direction, for the business, for the mission. And I'm like, baby, okay, let's check this out. And da da, da, da, da, and I lay down my thought and the vision, I lay out the strategy. It makes sense, it's doable. She just quiet, won't say a word. I'm like, hey, did you hear me talking? She, I know I'm pondering and I'm listening for the Holy Ghost. Oh my God. So she means it. Believe me, I'm telling you, I'm telling you Okay.
