Christian man vs Spiritual Christian Man - The Effective Follower
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The Effective Follower teaches that true leadership starts with submission. Through Abraham and Lot, this message highlights discernment, humility, and the impact of who you follow. It warns against pride and being led by emotions or “sense knowledge.” Learn how right alignment attracts blessing, while poor choices can cost everything, shaping a life led by the Spirit, not feelings.
So we've been looking at uh soul winning and of course throughout the whole year we'll be maintaining that posture on soul winning, amen. You will become a soul winner, amen. And that uh we'll ensure before the end of the year. Praise the Lord. This is a a very important thing. We know that the kingdom functions um with soul winners, the kingdom of God values those who win souls. Alright. So although we're talking about souls, um today is entitled The Effective Follower. Amen. The effective follower. Now one thing you must know is that you cannot lead. Amen. You cannot lead if you've never been led. If you've never been led, it will be a difficult thing for you to do to lead. Many want to take up positions of leadership, but they themselves have never actually been under authority. Amen. They've never submitted themselves under authority, but they want to take positions of leadership. This is why I advocate that I was always saying it for many years that it, you know, we've had some African presidents come into our nations and run sack the whole country. And most of them, if you look at their backgrounds, they come from very poor families. How is it that someone that comes from a very poor family who's never managed finance, managed a business, you will allow to run a country? What do you think he will do? The the money that is required to run a country is in the billions. This guy has never run a business that even does six figures, and you place him as the president. What do you think he will do? He will take all the money for himself, and quite frankly, you would do the same. There's the money, the money will talk to you. Amen. The church is very quiet on that. You would do the same. You see the billions and think one percent won't hurt. What's 10% of a billion? What's 10% of a billion is not a hundred thousand. It's a hundred million. Amen. And what's one percent of a billion? Yeah. So you will say, I'll take ten million, nobody will notice. Nobody at all will notice, and that ten million will change your life. Praise the living God. So I'm a firm believer that before you go and lead people, you yourself have to be under leadership. You have to have been led, you have to have had somebody that can say stop and you stop. Somebody that says jump and you say how high. If you cannot submit on that level, you are not fit for leadership. And forget marriage. Amen. On both sides, both men and women, forget marriage. Some marriages are failed because the man is too prideful, too prideful to understand when he should let his wife lead. And you know why he's too prideful to do that? Because he has never been led. He does what he wants, whenever he wants to do it. Praise the Lord. Just because you don't say amen, it doesn't make it not true. Anyways, I'm not expecting much amen from you anyway. And when the change is taking place, it's painful, so I'm expecting I'm not expecting much responses. So the Holy Spirit is encouraging me. Amen. So it's important for us to talk about the effective follower because there's a character in the Bible that I want to show you. Alright, the Bible calls him a righteous man, but he was a terrible follower. And some of you reference him as a as a as a prayer point. You say the God of, and you mention his name sometimes. Some people reference him anyway, not everyone. But in the churches, yeah, maybe I'll break it to you this way. They say the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Okay, who's missing in that link? Who's missing in that link? The person that comes in the middle, don't say Moses. Moses is later down the line. Yeah, you have to know your genealogies. There's a specific gentleman, a young man, okay, who was supposed to be a part of that. No, no, no, no, no. I said in the middle. How can it be Joshua? I think the disciples should stop suggesting this is embarrassing. So I'll break it to you. There's a gentleman that came in the middle. In the middle. Please, just the Lord is in control. Just just stop. Amen. I said in the middle. Praise the Lord. Now, in the middle, there's a gentleman by the name of Lot. He came with Abraham. Amen. He should have been, he should have his name should have been in there. Why your name is not in there? I have a lot to show you. I used to be a rapper. Some people haven't caught it yet. Just explain it to your neighbor. Amen. Amen. If you don't get it, ask your neighbor. Amen. Alright. Genesis 12. Let's go and study this guy. It's a very interesting guy. Praise the Lord. The effective follower.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 12 from verse 1 says.
SPEAKER_02So as we're reading and I'm explaining and I'm breaking down the scripture, I want you to ask yourself, Am I an effective follower? Am I wise? Alright, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 12 from verse 1 says, Now the Lord had said to Abram, Get out of your country from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you. Verse 2, I will make you a great nation, I will bless you, and make your name great, and you shall be a blessing. Verse 3, I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you, and in all and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Verse 4. So Abraham departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him, and Abram was seven. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Praise the Lord. It says, Abram departed as the Lord had spoken unto him, and Lot went with him. First thing I want to talk to you about being a good follower is being able to notice when God is with a man. I'm gonna show you some things. Listen, it could be your sister that you grew up with in the house. You have to be able to discern that God is with this person. A good follower, an effective follower knows when to assume the position to lead everybody or to leave that position and allow the one that God is with to lead. Do you understand? Some of you have fought your Abraham. You fought you fought that person because you thought you were better than them. Don't worry, as I get into the message, you will see how it applies to you. Nevertheless, the fingerprints of the spirit is in the message, so he will cater to everybody. Amen. So number one, noticing and understanding when God is with a man or with a woman or with someone. Are you listening? The word was given. God said, Abram, leave your parents' house, not Lot. Not even Sarah. Did God speak to Sarah? Did the Bible say God spoke to Lot? But they picked up their stuff and said, We're gonna follow this man. I'll show you the beauty of following. In a generation where they only celebrate recognition and pride, and the you have to be the face. Alright, you finished that verse 4. Continue.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 12 from verse 5 says, Then Abraham took Sarai, his wife, and Lot, his brother's son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan. Verse 6. Amen.
SPEAKER_02It says, And Abraham took Sarah his wife with Lot, his brother's son, his nephew, Amen, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran, and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan. Into the land of Canaan they came. Now I want to enlighten you very quickly before we go to another chapter. That Abraham or Abraham at that time wasn't necessarily wealthy. The Bible says he left with a few souls. But later on we found we find out that he had 300 servants. Okay. So he left his parents' house. He took his wife. Lot tagged along. Lot said there's something about this guy. I need to follow this guy. He follows him. Now let's look at what happens in chapter 13. Okay. Chapter 13.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir.
SPEAKER_02Jump to verse 5.
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 5 says, Lot also who went to the.
SPEAKER_02Okay, no, no, no, no, no. Start from verse 1. It's better.
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 1 says, Then Abraham went up from Egypt, he and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him to the south. Verse 2.
SPEAKER_02What does that say? No, this is not the time to sleep. What does that say? Let's read together. Alright? Let's read together. Verse 2. One, two, three, go. Not everyone is reading. I want everybody to read. One, two, three, go. He was rich in what? And then verse three says.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 3 says, And he went on his journey from the south as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and I. Verse 4. To the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord. Verse 5. Lot also who went with Abraham had flocks and herds and tents. Verse 6.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Read that last verse again.
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir. Genesis chapter 13. That last one, yeah. Verse 5 says, Lot also who went with Abraham had flocks and herds and tents.
SPEAKER_02Praise the Lord. Now there's something I need to bring to your attention here. They started and Lot had nothing. Listen to that. The Bible doesn't describe Lot having anything. It says simply he heard his uncle was leaving. He said, I gotta follow that guy. From chapter 12, they went to Haran, yeah, and then on the way up to Egypt, in chapter 13, all of a sudden, now Lot has tents, livestock. But the Bible still doesn't tell us he was rich. It says there was more substance added to him. The one who was rich was Abraham. Are you listening? Lot, by virtue of association, God multiplied him. Just because he was close to a man that walked with God, God multiplied him. Praise the Lord. Listen, if you spend time with me, and then you go and spend time with others outside there who believe different to what I believe, who conduct themselves differently to what how I conduct myself, you're gonna have what I call a split personality. In some instances, you will behave like me, and in other instances you behave like them. You're way too quiet. And some of you are even in a worse position than that. Because you got no friends. And that's who you're emulating. So when you're under pressure, Cardi B comes out. For the guys, when they're under pressure, Lil Duck comes out. Yeah. And they're in and you're sitting in church, and you say, I'm a Christian. Even the way you dress, to the way you're inspired to carry yourself. You don't look like the women in the scripture. No, you resemble your favorite artists because that's who you're spending time with. So effectively, their anointing is coming on you. The anointing they carry. Don't you understand? Don't you understand that this is a principle, even nature supports this. The bad always affects the good. Always. Don't don't this is why I laugh when women say to me, Sir, he's not a Christian, but you know, I'm gonna change him. No, no, you are on a journey to changing. The bad always affects the good. So if you are in a good position, your your wisdom is to run from the bad because the flesh is very easy to entertain, it takes intentionality to entertain the spirit. Do you understand that? For you to do spiritual things, you have to be intentional, you have to fight for it. You don't have to fight to do bad things, they come naturally. Hating will be a natural thing for you, anger is a natural thing for you. Check children, right? Just look at kids, children. You'll notice that children are effectively picking up bad habits and bad traits first before they pick up good ones. Where does the child learn to throw himself on the floor? And they call it terrible twos. Where's good twos? Where's the child that doesn't throw himself on the floor when he turns two? Where's the child that says yes, mom? Like this? Because being good takes intention. Doing what the word says takes intention when the scripture says do this, he knows all the scripture knows you cannot do it. You cannot praise the Lord. So I'm studying a lot and I'm realizing that this guy was somewhat clever. He picked up, he said, he said, you know what? This this is the God is with this man. You know, there's wisdom in that. I remember reading in the scripture and I saw a man called Laban. Laban said, He got this young boy in his house, and he started working this young boy. And this young boy was working as well without complaining. And Laban said, You know what, since you've come into my house, I've been so blessed. No, he wasn't talking about help. He was saying the multiplication that I experienced since you've arrived has been nothing short of supernatural. He said, You must stay here. Are you listening? He said, You gotta stay here. Laban wasn't a Christian. Laban worshipped other gods, but he could he could tell. He could pick up. Praise the Lord Jesus. There's another guy by the name of Potiphar. Do you remember Potiphar? Potiphar said to Joseph, Joseph, I've noticed there's something on you, there's a spirit of excellence, and uh, you're gonna I'm gonna make you in charge of everything. Just leave my wife out of it. Amen. And many people don't know that that's one of the keys to business. When you're running a business, now I'm digressing just for a second. I just want to give you a nugget here, then I'll move on. When you're running a business or you're running businesses, if you are wise, you will know where you don't have the anointing for, and you will appoint people in those positions who are better than you, you make your life easier. Even in business, there's humility. So some of you came in, you came in contact with myself, you saw that you know what, since I've come in touch with this man, the the supernatural power of God has been on what I'm doing. I can feel it. And you still allow the enemy to poison your mind, all right, against what God is doing. That makes you a terrible judge of character. A terrible judge of character, amen. Terrible judge of character. You see, if the way the way some of you behave, yeah, if you met Christ physically like you bumped into him on the road, you wouldn't even know it's him. Because you would expect him to be looking good, shining, and you know, with a crown on his head. No, he will come to you as a normal person. One of the ways to move forward in this life is being a good judge of character. How many best friends have set up best friends? And the best friend has died as a result as a result of his best friend setting him up. I don't see things like you, I see things the way the scripture sees things. So, my question, I'm not sitting there thinking, ah, I feel so sorry. That best friend is terrible. No, that's not my position. My position is you are terrible for calling him your best friend. How did you get there? What happened to your judge, your judgment? The spirit in you that can tell you that no, this person cannot be my best friend. I've seen best friends set up another best friend and kill that best friend for a woman, but they were besties, they were guys, they grew up together for a woman. That's your best friend. I pray as I'm ministering to you right now that the Holy Spirit will start changing the way you see things. You understand that? So you become a better judge of character. This world, we only honor people when you can see it, we only honor people when they die. When there's a great man amongst us, we don't know how to honor him. When he goes, then we say, Ah, he was a great man. Then we have all these pictures of him and all these videos. Oh, what a great man he was. When he was alive, you were stoning him. Praise the living God, even down to who you pick to be your partner. You know, you pick who you pick to be your partner. You say, Yeah, that's my man. That's your man. That's that's him. That's who you decide that will be my man. You've picked him with your hand. You said, That's my guy. Look at your neighbor and say, Be a good judge of character. One lot did many things wrong, but one thing he did right was he picked Abraham. Amen. Say, be a good judge of character if you see certain signs on your best friend, or you see certain things in your man or your woman, brother. Make it this is life or death. Are you listening? You cut that off now. Let's investigate this gentleman. Let's unpack this gentleman. I'm excited. Where did we stop off? 13, right? 13. Okay, so we finished at five. Yeah? Alright, read on.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 6 says, Now the land was not able to support them that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could that they could not dwell together. Verse 7. And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abraham's livestock and the herdsmen of Lot's livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizites then dwelt in the land. Verse 8. So Abram said to Lot, Please, let there be no strife between you and me and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brethren. Verse 9. Is not the whole land before you, please, separate from me, if you take the left, then I will go to the right, or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left. Verse 10. And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as you go towards Saul. Verse 11. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east, and they separated from each other. Verse 12.
SPEAKER_02Praise the Lord. I'm going to be breaking it down bit by bit. This is a terrible thing. You found a man that God walks with. Alright? Now, before I touch on that, I want to expand on something just before that. The Bible says that Lot's herdsman and Abraham's herdsmen had a disagreement. Okay? They had a disagreement. And the Bible also says to us that Abraham came up with his own wisdom. He said, How about we go our separate ways? Anyway, the land was too small to take us all. That's what the Bible says. Is that in your Bible? Okay, so the land is too small, we're growing too big. Let's split. You go, whatever way you go, I'll go the opposite. Now, this is where Lot went wrong. The option was given to him, and the Bible says he lifted up his eyes and he saw and he decided, Okay, I'm gonna go this way. I remember when I was younger, my parents used to say, If we beat you, all right, if if dad beats you or mom beats you, and we open the door for you to leave and we say, Get out, a good child will sit on the floor. You're too quiet. Is this message too deep for you? It's too deep for you. My parents used to say, if you leave the house, as some of you have done, if you leave the house, you're not a good child. A good child will sit on the floor and say, I'm staying under the leadership of my parents. Some of you, mom says, get out of the house, you say, I'm leaving anyway. And I booked my flight already. You were not discerned. This is where Lot went wrong. Now, what's interesting is the Bible calls him a righteous man, but he was ruled by his senses. Lot was entangled with his emotions, he was too emotional for God to work with him. He was too emotional. I will show you how Lot was emotional. This guy was a rebel. Don't fall for what they've been teaching you. I don't know who's been teaching you about this guy, he was he was not a good guy, but he was righteous. And the worst part about it is he looked up and saw the river, Jordan. He said, I'll go there. He also saw the other side where his uncle was going, it was dry, and he chose for his uncle to go there. And he said, No, no, no, I will take the easy path, you will take the difficult path. But what Lot forgot is that God was with Abraham. This is what I'm saying to you. When you find a man or a woman that God is walking with, do not let them go. It could be your demise. You were on the right path, now you're on the wrong one in a split second because you chose sense knowledge, emotions. It could be different to Abraham. I could tell you off. You could come here and I say, No, you've done the wrong thing. You say, How can you talk to me like that? Say, I'll find another church where the pastor can talk to me nicely. Okay, that's not a problem. God is walking with many men of God. That's fine. That's fine. There were many men of God also where Abraham was. Many of them, they were there. Why didn't they find Lot? There's a man appointed for you. I just don't understand. If I if me, all the mentors I've had, I've I've I assessed them. I said, This guy is good with leadership. I'm gonna follow that guy, and they've done things to offend me, and I stood with them. Yeah, you don't understand that. For you, you have an ego, that's your problem. You're you have an ego, you're filled with pride. Nobody can touch you don't understand humility. Can I show you something? Maybe I should talk to these nice people here. I don't know about you know, maybe should I I'll talk to these nice people here? Listen, I in the same verse, these two are traveling, Abraham and Sarah are traveling, they're traveling, and um Abraham looks at his wife and says, I know you're very beautiful, so let's pretend that you're my sister. Because when we meet Pharaoh, Pharaoh will want you. So I don't want him to kill me because I'm your husband, so let's lie. Me and your siblings. They get there, Abraham says, Yes, of course, this is my sibling, that's my sister. Pharaoh says, Bring that girl here. Now Abraham did not fight him. Abraham said, Take her, go, go, have her. You know why? Because he trusted in the Lord. He didn't have an ego, he didn't say no one can talk to my no, he said, You want my wife? Take her. God in heaven appeared in the dream of Pharaoh and said, If you sleep with that woman, I will kill you. You're too quiet. You don't understand, you don't, it's because you don't know the power of God, so you're ready for crash-out season anytime. Especially you women, it's not even with the men, it's the women. The level of jealousy and anger and furiosity that I've I've seen is demonic actually on some levels. Your partner simply says hi to someone, your your nervous system is about to shut down. That level of insecurity is just something that needs to be looked into. We need to minister to you in the spirit, yeah, in the chambers of God. We need to take you to the chamber of the Lord and minister to you there. This is terrible. Praise the Lord. He he he he would tell me point blank, he was he every time I'm with him, he he will have to say something about my wife, whether she looks good or this or that. And I said, Well, I'm blessed. Thank you. God be praised. I knew that God would just let me not talk. God would do more than appear in his dreams, it will be very long. So I have nothing to fret about. My old mentor, I wasn't looking at his mistake, I was focused on his gift. I said, I need this. This guy was a great leader. I said, I need that gift, so I stuck to him, and all the business lessons I have today I learned from him. He was a terrible guy, but I learned all of it from him. Again, my parents, they were very wise. My parents would say, if you want to take an apple out of the mouth of a snake, you get the snake to talk. What does that mean? Your goal is the apple. Do you understand? Yeah, you don't you're not focused on the snake and the danger, you're focused on the apple. You get the apple and run off. So, what do you do? You speak with the snake, you be nice and kind with the snake. So, if I'm next to this man and I know that he's a womanizer, all right? I know his flaws, his weaknesses. I'm not there for that. I'm focused on what his gift, the knowledge he has in his brain. I acquire that knowledge, I honor the vessel, and I keep my distance. That is what you call wisdom in the scripture, it's wisdom, but you you're too focused on people's flaws, too focused on the flaws, and you neglect the fact that God is with that man. I met a man of God who would slap his media cameramen if they're not doing things properly. See, you guys are from Europe. Some of you you're already making noise, you don't understand. The cameraman is doing things wrong. He said, Hey, come in. I'm like, I'm from Europe. I'm breathless, like, what? But you know what? I had to learn because that man, this is the kind of man, yeah, I've seen with my own two eyes, yeah. An ulcer in the leg of someone. He'll get there and say, Behold, and walk off. And the ulcer starts popping. And the heat and it's and it's closing in my eyes. You you can't tell me. I saw it.
unknownYeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I was a young man, I saw the ulcer closing. This is the guy that God chose to walk with, the one that's slapping the cameraman, and you are choosing to criticize him for slapping the cameraman. I choose the gift in him.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02Tell your neighbor, have wisdom. Have wisdom. I heard a story of a father, right? His father was there, and he uh his what his daughter came running in the house. She was hysterically crying. She said, He said, What's wrong? What happened? And he said, she said, I'm leaving my husband, my marriage. I'm leaving. The father said, Why? What happened? You know what she said? She said, He cheated. So I'm leaving. I can't take it. It's the second time. Okay, do you know what the father said? He said, sit down. So she sat down. He asked her several questions. He said, Do you eat every day? She said, Yes. He asked, How many houses has he bought you up till this day? Four. Okay. Are you driving your favorite car? Yes. How many kids do you have? Five. Okay. Do you pay any bills? No. Okay, okay, that's nice. Um, are you working at the moment? No. Okay, that's nice. Does he come back home to you every day? Yes. She said yes. Um, he also asked another question. He said, um, does he physically beat you? No. Does he treat you well? Yes. Go back home. Conversation? Over. He named 10 things that the guy does well. She came and said, I want to divorce over one thing.
unknownCome on.
SPEAKER_02What's wrong with this generation? He cheated. I'm going. Ah no. No, no, no, no, no, no. These are things we can learn from Lot. You see, if I was in Lot's place here, if I was in Lot's place, the moment my uncle said, Lift up your, you know, lift up your eyes. You're gonna go wherever. You pick one way. I would turn my eyes back on him and say, I'm I'm your leg. You see your leg there. That's me. Wherever that leg is going, I'm gonna follow you. I found him. God never spoke to me. So I'm Lot. God never spoke to me. God spoke to him. I was broke when I met you. Now I have tents and herds and sheep. You want to send me away? I'm staying right here. I don't care about your mistakes. I'm staying right here. Is this message too heavy for you? Are you sure? Are you mature? Yes, sir. Are you learning?
unknownYes, sir.
SPEAKER_02Praise the living God. So marriages, beautiful marriages from God, anointed marriages have ended because the pair didn't have any wisdom. Your wife may make a mistake here and there, but overall she's a good woman. And you capitalize on that very mistake. Some of you have good parents. They tried with you. You forgot that you was a tyrant. Yeah, when you were growing up, you was terrible. Your parents tried. They tried with you. Amen. And you castigate them, you talk to them anyhow. Forgetting what they've done for you. Can we continue studying a lot? Yeah? Do you want us to continue? Okay, let's look at this guy. He's a very bizarre guy. The Bible says, where did we end? Blessing. Okay, continue.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 12 says, Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. Verse 13. But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord. Verse 14. And the Lord said to Abram, After Lot had separated from him, lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are, northward, southward, eastward, and westward. Verse 15.
SPEAKER_02Listen, that that really hurt me when I read that. Alright? I'll tell you why. Because if look what happened. Lot chose to go towards Sodom. And the Bible makes one statement about Sodom. What does it say? It's there. Read it. They were exceedingly wicked. This is what happens when you lead with sense knowledge. Raise your hand if you know what sense knowledge is. Raise your hand. You know what sense knowledge. Okay, a lot of people don't know what sense knowledge is. Sense knowledge is your senses. You've got five senses. It's actually seven, but you have five. Yeah. Eyes, nose, taste, touch, earring. Right? When you lead with that, you're assured destruction. When I was growing in the office of the prophet, one of the lessons I learned as a prophet is even if you see something with your two eyes, it hasn't happened unless God said it happened. So what would they what was my father trying to teach me, my spiritual father? You're trying to teach me that the physical eyes can deceive you, but the spiritual ones don't deceive. Are you listening? So if you're leading with with feelings, emotions, sense, you will always crash. How many ladies in here have come to you and said, sir, I just know he's the right one? How? I can feel it. You can feel it, yeah. I can just feel it in my spirit. Sometimes in my heart. She sat there and she said to me, Um, this is the man that has proposed to marry me. And I said, How long you been with him? I said, she said, three years. I said, Okay. And I said, um, uh, where is he? She said, he's not based here, but he goes back and forth. He comes very regularly to see me. He spent a lot of money to come and see me. I said, okay, where is he based? She said, the Middle East. Um, a businessman from the Middle East comes here and stuff. And I said, Does he treat you well? She said, Yes, he treats me very well. And I said, This is who you want to be with. She said, Yes. I said, why? She said, apart from the stuff that he does, I can feel it. I feel connected. I said, Okay, do you know everything about him? Yes. I know everything. I said, okay. She could tell I was reserving myself. Yeah. So she pressed and I said, Do you know that he has two children? She was she sat back. I said, Do you know that he's married twice? Twice. One in another country, in Europe. Yeah, someone in the Middle East, and now you. She was taken aback. Amen. When you look at the picture of the gentleman, he very good looking, looks settled, he's in a suit, he looks good. Amen. But the eyes of the spirit do not fail. Lot's problem was Lot was too focused on sense knowledge. He looked at Jordan, he said, This is beautiful. I'll go there. The Bible gives a description that says that place was disgusting. There were wicked people there. Abraham, on the other hand, he said, It doesn't matter what you send me, I'll be fine. Because the Lord was with him. Amen. Is the Lord with you? Is the Lord with you? So it doesn't matter what situation you're in, the Lord is with you. Amen. Now, anyhow, he he looks at this dry place, it was very dry, and he says, I will go there. Now on his journey there, look at God. God says, Abraham, the place that you're going to, I will give you everything. Wherever your feet go belong to you. God starts blessing him. Blessing him. Did God bless Lot? Are you sure? Did God bless Lot? Who did He bless? In the dry land. Amen. Let's continue.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 13 from verse 15 says, For all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. Verse 16, and I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth, so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered. Verse 17. Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you. Verse eighteen. Then Abram moved his tent and went and dwelt by the Terebinth trees of Mamrah, which are in Hebron, and built an altar there to the Lord. Thank you, sir. First Corinthians chapter fifteen from verse thirty-three says, Do not be deceived. Evil company corrupts good habits.
SPEAKER_02Read it one more time.
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir. First Corinthians chapter 15 from verse 33 says, Do not be deceived. Evil company corrupts good habits.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Now you see when we're talking about um when we're talking about knowing whether God is with a man. Yes, you can discern it, but really knowing whether God is with a man is about how you end. It's about your ending. You can walk with God, okay, and no one knows until how you finish. It's your ending story. Praise the Lord. And where you will go off in this afterlife. God has sent me to you guys to help you finish strong. You may ask, you may say to yourself, but I I I am young. Finish, it's not about your age, it's not about your age. You can finish at 30, you can finish at 25. You can finish at 23. Jesus finished at 33. Do you understand? So he sent me to help you finish strong. Because I made up my mind years ago that I will finish strong. I walk with him and I will finish strong. There are people in the Bible that walked with God and then God left them and they died like dogs. Their lives went left. As I'm talking, I want you to assess yourself. Yeah. Who do you have around you that keeps feeding into your sin? That keeps feeding into your temptations. That keeps feeding that very thing that makes you and God not walk together. Who is that person and what is that thing? And you gotta make that decision today that I'm gonna put God before. By the way, it can be your workplace. They keep giving you shifts that land on Sunday. You're too quiet there. They keep giving you shifts that land on Thursday, and you're unable to make it to church and hear the word of God being ministered to you because of money. So effectively, money is what you're serving. Well, Pastor, I have to pay my bills. Pastor, I have to do this, pastor, I have to do that. The way God interprets that, the way he looks at that is you have chosen to pick those things over him. Because he said, think of it like this. All the women, I want you to think of this. You've given this guy a date, you guys have set that date. Alright, you're gonna meet every Friday. Amen. And you get there and you're waiting, and he tells you, I've been held up, amen. But then you find out he's held up by another woman, you can show your jealousy, it is well, amen. Yeah, that's how God interprets that. He looks at money as a God, he calls it mammon. Do you understand? So effectively, you're saying that God, uh, I can't let go of mammon, I have to stay with him at work. So God is looking at you saying, You've picked that God over me. I want to meet you on Thursday, and I want to meet you on Sunday. Praise the living God. There was a contract that um I was going to go and close that I showed the disciples. I showed you guys the paperwork. I brought the paperwork. Do you remember the number on there? You wouldn't remember the money on there. It was more than that, it was more than 20. It was in the 60s, 70s. Amen. This was a a a uh contract I was going to close for 60 million pounds in 2000 and when was it? 2023. You know what they did? They said, come and pitch to us. Yeah, bring your pitch deck and come and pitch to us on a Thursday. I said, You did the wrong thing, brother. That's the wrong day. I said, it's not they said that's the only day we're free. I said that I'm not free. I have a meeting with someone more important than you.
unknownCome on now.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you're not gonna wave money at me and I forsake God. The God that can do this, and 60 million is dropped into my account. You think I'm gonna leave him? This is what I was saying to you when you find someone that is walking with God, stick to that person, and don't worry about their mistakes because they are human, they they have a flesh. Are you listening? And by the way, mistakes are subjective. Mistake is your opinion. Yeah, that's the that's the worst part about it, is that you may think it's a mistake, and God says that wasn't a mistake. I want that. That was good, good stuff. Praise God. Yeah, God says, I'm I'm in there, that's where exactly where I'm standing, right there where you think he's made the mistake. Now, as I'm studying Abraham's life, Abraham, righteous man, you know he was a prophet, right? If you didn't know, just write it in your notes that Abraham was a prophet. Abraham being a prophet, yeah, his story is amazing. I'm gonna take you to Genesis 25. Look at the way he ends. A nice life. I when I studied, I said, God, this is the way to finish. He he was of old age, all right? And the Bible says he was still strong. The Bible says something that I've I cherish very much. You know what it said? It says, He gave up the ghost. You gotta pay attention to those things. He didn't die, he chose, he said, okay, now I'm ready to go. And God says, Okay, come. He chose his time. Wow, wow, that's a righteous man. Are you listening? Some of you, when death appears, you're fighting, you're fighting you're fighting to stay in the world. And when we talk of rapture, some of you are saying, No, God, please don't come now. Please, Jesus, don't come now. Because you have things, you still have things you want to do. Abraham had done all the things you wanted to do, he'd done it. He was rich, he had a good wife. He, oh, I need to show you this. Genesis 25. He does what every the desire of every man, he took his inheritance and split it. He said, Isaac, pam. Yeah, he was giving them. He said, You go this way, you go that direction. Yes, dad, I will go. He said, You stay, you take this and go that direction. You know why he did it so confidently? Because if you listen, look at the way God blessed him, God said, I will give the world to you and your descendants. So Abraham knew these children are blessed. Lot could have been a part of them. I focused on the work. And God said, My son, you are faithful. Bam. Take this, bam, and he was adding and adding, and whilst he's adding to me, I'm not thinking about showing off or doing this and doing it. I'm thinking about giving. I'm giving, I'm giving. God is giving me, I'm giving. There's people that I've I've spoken with here in this room today. I've said, they said to me, Oh, Pastor, I can't do this, can't do it. I said, I'll take care of it. I'll take I'll take care of that. He called me one day and said, sir, my uni, my uni, they're trying to kick me out. My my dorm. They were asking for a large sum of money because I'm in debt. You remember that? I said, give me your bank account. Am I lying? I paid that amount. I said, take it. There you are. Because I'm giving my my consciousness is in is in building, you know. I'm giving. What I'm trying, the point I'm trying to drive to you into your spirit today, is sense knowledge is the worst metric you can use. So get away from what you heard. Oh, I heard. Get away from that, get away from what you saw. Because what you saw may not be real. Take it from me. Praise the Lord. Get away from what you feel, I just feel. How many of you have said I just feel? and you ended up making a mistake. Be honest. Your judgment was off. I feel like. And then you make a blunder. Tell your neighbor, get away from sense knowledge. Yeah? Can we read about Abraham's finish? Because I don't want to keep taking too much time. Let's read about this amazing man, the father of faith. How he finished. Let's go to 25, yeah? We'll go backwards in a second. 25. From verse 5.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 25 from verse 5 says, And Abraham gave all that he had to Isaac. Verse 6. But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had. And while he was still living, he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east. Verse 7. This is the sum of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, one hundred and seventy-five years. Verse 8. Then Abraham breathed his last and died in good old age. An old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.
SPEAKER_02Did you hear that? Verse 8 says, And then Abraham gave up the ghost and died in a good old age, an old man full of years. He had more in the tank. He's from round the way. Amen. Now yeah. And full of years and was gathered to his people. What a life. Now, if you look, if you go backwards, it says it says, and Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac, but unto the sons of the concubines which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts and sent them away from Isaac. So he had his son Isaac that he blessed. But he also had children with his maidservants. And he gave gifts unto those children so that there's no strife. He said, Isaac, you stay. I'm gonna give you all that I have. Now some of you are thinking when he says, when the Bible says he gave him all that he had, you're thinking about materials. No, brother. This boy Isaac actually went quite empty-handed. Abraham gave him all that he had inside. That's why when Isaac had his children, do you remember them? Who were they? Esau and Jacob. What did he do before he died? He blessed them, he didn't give them any wealth. Abraham took his wealth and gave it to the children of the concubines. But he spoke over Isaac and gave him all that he had through his words. He said, You'll be the head, not the tail. He blessed him with his words. But that's a topic for another day. I love words. We'll talk about that another day. Now, would you like to live like Abraham? Especially the men, you love it, right? He had many concubines. Now, would you like to finish like him? Peaceful, quiet, full of years. Would you like that? Can we look at Lot now? This is where I'll end, I promise. Let's look at Lot. The man who chose sense knowledge. We're still in Genesis 19. Let's go back to 19. This is gonna be a little bit of a long read, but just try to stay locked in.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 1 says, Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. Verse 2 And he said, Hear now, my lords, please turn into your servant's house and spend the night, and wash your feet, then you may rise early and go on your way. And they said, No, but we will spend the night in the open square. Verse 3, but he insisted strongly, so they turned into him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate. And they called to Lot and said to him, Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally. Verse 6. Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_02And Lot went out of the door unto them and shut the door after him. Now you're going to continue reading. I'm just going to explain every five verses. Amen. Now the Bible says Lot arrived in Sodom and Gomorrah. Okay, two different cities, by the way. Sodom was one, Gomorrah was another. And he arrives there, and the Bible says, Two nice looking guys were walking past the house, and he says, Come in, come in, come in. I want to give you some water to drink and for you to wash your feet before you continue. And they said, Nah, it's fine. Nah, it's okay. He begged them, he impressed himself on them, and then they decided, Okay, we're gonna go inside your house and have some water and wash our feet, and then we'll leave. It was custom. The Bible says that as they were in the house discussing, the entire village, the entire, can you imagine the entire Sodom gathered around Lot's house and said, There's two guys in there, yeah? Two guys in there, bring them out. Lot says, Why? Why should I bring them out? So he comes out and locks the door behind him. So why should I bring them out? They said, We want to sleep with them. These were homosexuals. Yeah, read your Bible. Do you think it started here in with your Gen Z? Yeah, it started in the Bible. These guys were bold. They said, Bring out those handsome guys, we want to finish them. Yeah. He was thinking, Why are you so why you you guys are disgusting? And and the Bible says he begged them. He said, Biko, please. He said, He said, please, just stop this. Did you understand that? Okay, read on. This this thing gets very interesting. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19, from verse 7, and said, Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly. Verse 8. See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man.
SPEAKER_02Did you hear that? Lot said, please, this thing that your your your you want to do is so nasty. Take my daughters instead. Yeah, that's even we can make sense of that. Jonas, that makes sense. They're my children, but take the girls. Listen to what these guys say. Go on, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Um, Genesis chapter 19 from verse 8 says, See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man. Please let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish. Only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof. Verse 9. And they said, Stand back. Then they said, This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge. Now we will deal worse with you than with them.
SPEAKER_02Ah, did you hear that? They said, You're defending them. We're gonna use you first. Yeah, they said we're gonna sodomize you first, then we'll sodomize the guys in there after. Look at the level of wickedness. Now, some of you who are Christians would have landed in that situation and said, God in heaven, is this what you wanted for me? But you chose Sodom. You chose it, you chose this life. You see the life you're living now. Can I open a bracket there? See the life you're living right now. You chose this life. You see the you see how your life looks right now? Is is as a result of your programming. You've been programmed over the years. The people around you have programmed your brain. I remember she was telling me, sir, I'm I'm so clumsy. She would say for like when I met her, oh that's normal, I'm very clumsy. I said, Can you stop saying that? Who told you you're clumsy? I had just met her. I said, Who told you you're clumsy? I was acting as if I'd known her for years. Who told you you're clumsy? And she says, Oh, my parents always used to say my mom, my dad used to always say I'm clumsy. See how they programmed her programming over the years, you are clumsy, you are clumsy. Finally, she starts acting clumsy. I said, From today, you're not clumsy anymore. Yeah, I reprogrammed, reprogramming. Yeah, I'm always losing money. I want from today, you stop losing money. Are you listening? The way you are at the moment, if you're not happy with your life financially, maritally, romantically, spiritually, it is because of the way you were programmed, the way you think. And the ones around you helped to shape you. Amen. Can we get back to that? No, no, wait, wait. So Lord says, Take my daughters instead. That at least can be justified to God. And they they responded with this guy, you came to live in our city. Who do you think you are? To be judging us. We'll deal with you, we'll sodomize you, then we'll sodomize the ones inside. Now, let's continue reading. Let's see what these two gentlemen do. By the way, if you didn't know, these two gentlemen were angels. That's why they were so handsome. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 10 says, But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them and shut the door. Verse 11, and they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that became weary trying to find the door.
SPEAKER_02Are you listening to that? Now, before you thank you, before you continue before she continues, I remember this has brought uh something to my spirit. I remember a young lady who um uh kept on consistently failing her exams, failing her. She can't submit schoolwork, failing her exams, failing exams. And the Lord brought to me in a vision that there's a charm buried next to her thing. Someone from uni came and said they got instructions to bury a charm in the ground next to her room, but it was nothing to do with her. The charm was not for her, the charm was buried for that person to be successful. So just imagine a person goes to a babalawa and says, I need a charm so I can pass my exams. The Babalawa says, Take it and bury it on the ground of the university. But she happened to choose to bury it next to this girl's room. So the charm was affecting this girl's brain. She couldn't submit work, she's falling asleep, demons are appearing in her dreams. So when she told me, I'm I can't, it's like it's just heavy for me to submit work. I saw in a vision this thing buried in the ground with a tail of a tiger. I said, Next to your dome. Yeah, next to your dome. I call it dome, I don't know what they call it in your generation. Yeah, dome. So next to the dome, there's something buried on the floor there in the grass, and she said, I'm gonna go and remove it. I said, What are you doing? Don't I said, Don't go and do that. I said, Ask for another place to stay. That's the word. She moved, all of a sudden, she can submit work. But question, what led her into that specific room? Half the year's already gone. What led her there? The same thing that led Jacob. Because I asked her, um, not Jacob, sorry, the same thing that led Lot. Because I asked her, why did you pick that specific room? She was like, I just picked it. I said, No, no, no, no, no. There's a reason. Why did you pick that room? And she said, Because of my boyfriend. I said, sense knowledge. Your boyfriend is by association the reason why you failed half the year. You wanted to follow your boyfriend. Tap your neighbor and say, Avoid sense knowledge. It will get you killed. Amen. Why did we stop there? Can you remind me what it says there?
SPEAKER_00Um, Genesis chapter 19 from verse 11 says, And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.
SPEAKER_02So these two angels struck the men, all the crowd, that entire city that was outside of the door. The angels struck them with blindness, so everyone was looking for where to go. Amen. They were all blind. Amen. Continue.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 12 says, Then the men said to Lot, Have you anyone else here, son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city, take them out of this place. Verse 13, For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the Lord, and the Lord has sent us to destroy it. Verse 14. So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law who had married his daughters, and said, Get up, get out of this place, for the Lord will destroy this city. But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking. Verse 15. When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city. Verse 16. And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city. Verse 17.
SPEAKER_02So continue, you can stay standing. So just to um just to you know make it easier for you to understand, Lot was the angels gave him half a day to pack his stuff, him and his wife, and take everything and leave the city. And they waited in the house. So at that time, Sodom was blind. Can you imagine that? They're still blind. Alright? And Lot was taking long. So they took him by the hand and said, Time is of the essence. Amen. You'll find out later why he was taking long. I'll show you. The guy is just taking his time. They're saying to him, Brother, this place is about to burn. Are you not listening? This whole place is gonna be burned down. He's not trying to hear it. Amen.
SPEAKER_00Okay, read on. Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 17 says, So it came to pass when they had brought them outside that he said, Escape for your life, do not look behind you, nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed. Verse 18. Then Lot said to them, Please know my lords. Verse 19, Indeed now your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life. But I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.
SPEAKER_02Did you hear that? Some of you are dreaming, you're not listening to what you said. The angels of God recommended for him to go to the mountains. The mountains are dry places. Lot says, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Now he's now advising the angels. He says, I can't go to the mountains because if I go there, some I will die. They'll kill me. Are you listening? This is a man that God favored, but God was not with him. Now, I told you in the beginning of my message, I will tell you why God was not with him. God couldn't work with Lot because Lot was ruled by something else. And a lot of there's a lot of lots in the body of Christ. God cannot work with you because you're ruled by sense knowledge. God will say to you, Leave this place, relocate to Ireland. You start an argument with him. God will say to you, Leave that woman. That woman will be the death of you. Leave her. You will start an argument. I told you about the lady that came to see the prophet. She comes to see the prophet about her business. She had documents. The prophet said, Forget this business thing that you're showing me. Fire your driver. She looks at him and says, What does my driver have to do with what I'm going through? Amen. The prophet said, Fire your driver. She goes back home. The driver is still there. Two, three months have passed by. We hear that she was killed by the driver, chopped up by the driver, put in a suitcase by the driver. The driver married in the home that she was living in. And this is Africa, by the way. Don't think it's the UK. This is in Africa. The driver killed her, put her in a suitcase. There's no evidence. And he married and lived in the house that she built. Because she was ruled by what? Sense knowledge. The man of God said, fire the driver. Instead of saying, Yes, yes, sir. This is if this is the word that God has for me, is this is what I'm gonna do. I came for one thing, God is addressing another thing, I will do what God is saying. She's arguing with the man of God. He's saying, I'm telling you, God said, fire your driver. Amen. How many instructions have I given here? I said, I've told you, leave this person. You decided to stay. Why are you complaining? Didn't I tell you to leave? Amen.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 20 says, See now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one. Please let me escape there. Is it not a little one? And my soul shall live. Verse 21, and he said to him, See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken. Verse 22. Hurry, escape there, for I cannot do anything until you arrive there. Therefore, the name of this city was called Zor. Verse 23. The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zor. Verse 24. Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord out of the heavens. Verse 25. So he overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. Verse 26. But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay. Now I'm gonna fast forward because some of you are sleeping. Yeah, it's making me a bit sad. So I'm gonna fast forward a bit. Now, Lot, Lot, I want you to notice something here. I want you to notice something. Didn't he enter Sodom and Gomorrah with tents and money? What did he leave with? No, he left with just his daughters. He entered there with money and riches into Sodom and Gomorrah and left without his wife, only with his daughters. That's the life of someone who's ruled by his senses. Even in the middle of the madness, God says, Go in the mountains. There would have been something good for him there. He says, No, no, no, I will not go in the mountains. My eyes are telling me the mountains are dry. I want to go here. And he chooses there. Amen. Women, don't pick your partner because he's handsome, please. Ah, you don't like that one. Okay, pick him because he's handsome. Pick him because he has a beard and all of that. It's as well. Let me talk to the men. Men, don't pick her because she's pretty. Be happy that she is pretty, but don't pick her because she's pretty. Are you listening? That face will change over time. What will keep you is the character. Are you listening? After all, if you don't think your partner is good looking, you are the one to beautify them. Make that person your piece of cake. The picture that you want. Hallelujah. Don't use sense knowledge to make massive decisions in your life. You're trying to pick the car that you want to drive. You want to pick the car that you want to drive, and you're looking at the outside appearance and the colour. You want to pick where to move, house, and you're using sense knowledge. No. You want to pick your friends, you're using sense knowledge, no. Praise the Lord. Because only this only the eyes of the spirit will tell you once you give this person a child, they will turn into a tyrant. Because children change women. Did you not know that? It changes them. They change. Some become wiser. And they see further. They see far. Yeah, receive that one. Others, they have children, they're the worst nightmare. Your worst nightmare. You're living with Pharaoh now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Pharaoh. The second coming of Idi Amin in your house. In your house. Yeah. You know, some women, Hitler will look good before you know. You before pregnancy, she was fine, she was humble. Bam! The baby has arrived. Everything has changed. Only the eyes of the spirit will tell you there where you're going is Sodom and Gomorrah. And I can almost imagine Lot when he was going to Sodom, he was dancing. He was like, Chees, this place is nice. He can smell the banku, you can smell the food, the jolofrash. He's smelling everything. He said, I'm gonna enjoy myself here. You get there, every the entire village is gay. You're a finished man, you're a finished guy. Imagine you're picking the neighborhood, it looks it's like a movie, it's a nice neighborhood. Wow, you get there, everyone is a witch and wizard, they all come out in the night time. Do you remember the illustration I gave you of that uni young man? The one I was counseling. That young gentleman, he said, sir, I picked up a fine babe in the club. He said, sir, she was too fine. And the way he was saying it, I was even interested. I said, Yeah, tell me more. What how fine was this person? He said, Sir, she was fine. I said, no, this is this is a good, this is a good one. You know, and then he said, sir, we got back to my uni thing. We finished the business. I fell asleep because I was tired. You know, I did my job, sir. I was tired. I said, okay, continue. What happened? You know, he said, he said, sir, I woke up in the middle of the night. One, yeah. She was levitating. There was, he said, he said, for him, it was a it was a like a dream because he was so tired. He said, I woke up in the middle of the middle of the night, and it's like she was hand-crossed, she was doing this, she was levitating in the middle of the air, and there was candles on the floor. And he said, he said he was too tired to even entertain it. He went back to bed. He said, He said, This is he just went back to bed. Then he said to me, This is live old. I'm sitting with this guy, I know this kid. Yeah, he says to me, Sir, after that, yeah, like after two hours, I wake up to go and use the toilet, and I look at the person beside me, is an old woman. I said, This, he said, this woman was old enough to be my grandma. He said, I screamed, I ran out of there naked. You know what I said to him? I said, Who sent you there? And in my spirit, I knew what sent him there. Sense knowledge. He saw beauty with his physical eyes and said, I must, I must go there. Are you learning? Are you sure? You don't pick a job because of the salary. On the 25k job, there might be God waiting for you there. And the 100k job, so dominor waiting for you there in this life, be wise. Two times now I've read articles from from America of young ladies going on dating apps, meeting someone, and they get they get killed and dumped in the wilderness. Why would someone do that? Why why would you do something like that? But you know what? I shouldn't be asking the guy why he did that. He's a he's obviously a demon. The person I should be questioning is that girl. What are you doing on an app that God didn't send you on? Sometimes you ask the wrong questions. What are you doing on an app that God didn't prescribe for you? What are you doing on that? It's because you're hungry for man. Let's go.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 27 says, And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord. Verse 28. Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the plain, and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace. Verse 29. And it came to pass when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow.
SPEAKER_02So the Bible is telling us that Lot was only saved because of Abraham anyway. Because of the very man he had association with, that's the very reason why God remembered him. Not because he did anything, but because he associated with Abraham and he was kin to Abraham. Continue.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. When he overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt, verse 30. Then Lot went up out of Zor and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him, for he was afraid to dwell in Zor. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave.
SPEAKER_02This part is listen attentively. This part, this is where I finish, because is it's such a crazy ending. This is a Nollywood movie. This one. Read that one. Let's finish it. It's just mind-blowing.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter 19 from verse 31 says, Now the firstborn said to the younger, Our father is old, and there is no man on the earth to come into us, as is the custom of all the earth. Verse 32. Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father. Verse 33. So they made their father drink wine that night, and the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. Let us make him drink wine tonight also, and you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father. Then they made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father.
SPEAKER_02Praise the Lord. Did you hear that? This is Lot's ending. The Bible doesn't say more than that about him. This is once you hit the last verse 37 or 38, that's it. We don't hear about the guy again. Even the Bible is disgusted. Let's move on from this guy. Let me illustrate it to you. Once they left Sodom and Gomorrah, that place of disgust and filth and wickedness. What Lot didn't know is that there was a price to pay for his mistake. And the price he paid was although they left Sodom and Gomorrah, Sodom didn't leave his children. Yeah. He didn't leave his children. He carried, they carried Sodom and Gomorrah to the next city. And they said, okay, because we're in an isolated place and we want to preserve the lineage of our family, we're gonna sleep with our dad. Yeah. They said, We're gonna sleep, we're gonna do enjoyment. So they got him drunk the first day. And I don't understand what kind of man he is. The Bible says he was so drunk he didn't even know when she slept with him or when she awoke. I don't know what drink they were having. Yeah. And and and it's more telling of what kind of man he was because they they left Sodom and Gomorrah and left everything behind but wine. They left clothes, money, everything, but they they carried the bottle of wine. Lot was a Finnish guy. No, you have to read the Bible Revelation. Where'd they get the wine from? Lot said, Leave everything, but go go go get my bottle from the kitchen. They said, We know our dad loves wine, he's a drinker, so you know what? Let's flog him. They flogged him. First one got pregnant. The first one said, I tested this thing, it works. You do it as well. Tomorrow we'll both be pregnant with our dad. And they did it again. They both got pregnant. Lot entered Sodom and Gomorrah with wealth and an entire family. He left with a bottle of wine two young girls who were Sodom and Gomorrah. Yeah, he should just name them Sodom and Gomorrah. And on top of that, grandchildren that are his own by his kids. Is that how you want to end? Are you sure? Then get away from sense knowledge. Abraham finished strong. His children married. Inheritance, young and old at the same time, strong, and he had a choice to give up the ghost. The other one didn't even tell us how he died. So let's just assume that he died by the bottle. I hope this message has opened your mind. Amen. Don't make decisions based on emotions. Praise the living God. I thank God for my spiritual father. You know, I stuck by him through the tough times, and I will continue sticking by him. I found a man who walks with God. Why would I let him go? You do the same. Do you understand that? If you believe that I walk with God, stick with me. You understand? Some of you I met young, 16, 14, 15, you had nothing. Today you have good jobs. You're about to marry, have children. We're building. Amen. We're building. We're building. And trust me, God is doing a work in your life. Yeah, the power's all over the place. Thank you for listening to Pastor Max's teachings.
