Why Believers Must Pray Part 4

So we have been discussing um we started discussing actually on on on uh last week about prayer and how prayer is ushered. But then on uh Thursday the Lord gave us a word and this this word was catered to um to marriage praise God this word was catered to marriage which I found to be very important because we're in a time of our of our walk where this is what the Lord requires He wants the young the middle-aged and the the wisest married Amen So this word is very relevant for everyone because you we may have you may be an uh an older person who has been married but it wasn't quite successful and you may be a middle-aged person who is looking for marriage or a younger person who's looking forward to marriage, amen. So I want us to do things the kingdom way, this is the season that we are in as a ministry, so this is uh it's important that we tackle that. Praise God. So I always encourage the disciples to have the notepads and pens. So if you're not a disciple, I would also encourage you to to do the same thing. Try and write down what you're learning, it may come in handy in the next few months. I write down a lot, and it helps for me to be reliable onto God because He can tell me something and I won't forget because I write it down. Amen. God doesn't want to work with someone with a short memory, because how can you tell another if you forgot? Amen. And some people think forgetting is a valid excuse. Amen. Imagine all the authors of the Bible forgot, we would have no Bible, and we would have nothing to go off and live our lives, so over stimulation, stress, anxiety, too much responsibility is not an excuse, according to God, for you to forget. Make a habit of writing everything down because that's what the apostles did. So we were in Zechariah, you can sit down, thank you. We were in Zechariah chapter one, and uh we were in Zechariah chapter one, and we were looking at uh verse 18. And so, blessing. I want you to read once again. I'll quickly go over what we spoke about on Sunday. Alright, what we spoke about on Sunday, and then we will go on to today's message. Go ahead.

Thank you, sir. Zechariah chapter one from verse 18 says, Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns. Verse 19, and I said to the angel who talked with me, What are these? So he answered me, These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. Verse 20. Then the Lord showed me four craftsmen. Verse 21, and I said, What are these coming to do? So he said, These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one could lift up his head, but the craftsmen are coming to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.

Amen. So I was explaining to you that it's your responsibility to look in your life and in your family's life and study patterns. A bit of that was touched in our series of anakims and principles, where I touched on your responsibility on studying patterns and generational limitations and curses in the family. But moreover, what I was driving at here was that if you look at verse 18, he says, Then I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these? So the angel of the Lord was speaking to the prophet about something other than what he saw. Okay, the prophet looked up and he said he saw four horns, and the angel did not begin to describe what the four horns were. The prophet Zechariah had to ask, What are these? And I was explaining to you that it's your responsibility to look in your personal life and ask questions. You ask God, What is this? Why is my life going this way? Why is it that I keep struggling and going through the same battle over and over and over again? I'm tired. Why is it that my brother went through this? I also have gone through this. What is going on? Tell your neighbor that's your responsibility. And you must know that if you've seen the generational pattern in the family, that's likely that your children will also experience that same pattern. So you have to be the person who looks up and gives that thing attention. Do you understand? It says here there are four carpenters that came to scatter the four horns. You gotta make yourself that. Did you know that you can anoint yourself to fight against the limitations in the family? God doesn't have to anoint you for that. You can stand up and say, I'm tired. Why does God not have to anoint you for that? Because what God does is He He puts out a call. God says, Uh, Who can I send? All over the scripture. That's the way He works. Because God found that the ones that He picked from their mother's womb kept on forsaking him. So now what He does is He puts out a call for everyone. Who can I send? Then Abraham popped up. Amen. And Jacob popped up. So I can tell you categorically that God has put out a call in your family, and He said, Who can I send to deal with these limitations? Who's bold enough to fight against the limitations in this family? And you have to nominate yourself. Say after me, I'm a free moral agent. I can do what I want to do. God is not going to force me to do anything, but God has desires, and my responsibility is to choose whether I want to do what God wants to do, or I want to do what I want to do. So an article has been placed. Are you gonna be the one that will stand up against generational limitations? I don't believe you. I still don't believe you. So he said, uh the prophet said, I looked up and I saw four horns, and I said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these? The angel said, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. So it's likely that what God will show you, okay, you will not understand. So imagine you're in prayer, you're praying, you're saying, God, what's all what's all this going on in my family? There's too many deaths. And this is what God wants to build in you today. He wants you sharp, he wants you discerned. Listen, you may be in prayer and you're saying, God, what's going on? And he shows you a bottle, just a bottle, and you see this bottle. You have a responsibility to press on. Uh, last week, uh, a lot of you had visions, right? Many of you gave me your vision. You said, Sir, we were praying. I saw this. I said, This isn't finished. You have to go into fasting, ask, press. God is a conversational God, you cannot use him. He doesn't want you to come to him as if you're a what he's a witch doctor. He gives you solution and you leave. He wants relationship. So when he shows you something, it will be in pieces. You're too quiet. I'm I feel I feel like I'm preaching to very, very anxious people. I command that spirit in you to die by fire. Amen. If you're experiencing anxiety, I cage and I detain that evil spirit. Praise God. Yeah, so you know, like for example, I was I was praying, I think yesterday or the day before yesterday. I was praying, praying, praying for the all the couples. I'm praying for the couples, praying and saying, God, uh, marriages must start taking place. And then for the first time, God took me to one of your weddings, which I will tell you in the marriage seminar after this. That we're gonna have, you know, one of the couples. I saw exactly what the person was wearing. I saw the dress of the lady, and so, and God said, This is the first one that will take place. Amen. I'll write it down so when it happens, yeah. You know, on your notes, you there's a date there, so when it happens, I will just screenshot and show you guys that. Praise God! So that means the prayers that we're doing, there's finally a breakthrough. Praise God, and I know everyone here wants to marry. Don't look at me like you don't want to marry. Everyone wants to marry, amen. So you've come at the right time. So he says, and I said that the angel talked with me and asked him, What are these? He answered, these are the horns, and then we go on to 21. Um, then he said, Then I said, What come these to do? So, can you see that this conversation between the prophet and the angel of the Lord? He's asking questions. He said, Okay, the four horns are there to scatter. Okay, what have they come to? What's their job? Why are they here? What's the responsibilities of these evil spirits? And God was able to inform the prophet that this is exactly what these spirits are here for. Now, write this down for me, all right. Qualification, because this is uh Zechariah 118, all the way to 21. The qualification for deliverance is perception. Okay, the qualification for deliverance is perception. You must see it the way God sees it, or else you will not know you need deliverance from it. Are you listening? Some people think it's okay to live together without being married, and they've been doing it for years. Now, if you don't know that that's something you have to be delivered from, you're gonna keep doing it until that knowledge is brought to you that this is a problem. We need to fix this. Amen. So the qualification for deliverance is perception. Now just put in brackets true perception, you need to see it the way God wants you to see it. True perception. Put uh measures in place in your house that God put in place for the children of Israel. Because God didn't put things in place for Israel to destroy them, He put it to raise them. So if you want to raise good children and a household full of the Holy Spirit, put the same measures in place. Praise God. Even secular music. Even secular music, be strict about these things. Alright? Even secular music, be strict about it. Put your foot down and uh put those measures in place. Praise God forevermore. Alright. Now going into chapter two, because this is where I'm gonna start my my message. Um that was like a refresher for Thursday, right? Chapter two. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Chapter two deals with something completely different. Chapter two deals with the issue of expansion, not deliverance. Deliverance and expansion are two different things. Write that down, okay? Deliverance and expansion are two different things. Now, chapter two, read for me from one to five.

Thank you, sir. Zechariah chapter two, from verse one says, Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. Verse two, so I said, Where are you going? And he said to me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what it is width and what it is length. Verse 3, and there was an angel who talked with me, going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him. Verse 4, who said to him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of the men and the livestock in it. Verse 5, for I, says the Lord, will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.

Amen. That's so beautiful. It's so relevant because I was dealing with deliverance. First, you must know the evil spirits that are stopping you from being married and stopping you from actually meeting the person that God wants you to be with. You must understand that. Once you've identified, okay, you've identified the the problem where the source is coming from. Now, expansion is what's next. What do I mean by expansion? When you I told you when you meet your partner, God has expanded you, He's promoted you because two is better than one. Is that correct? So God is interested in expanding your coast. Now, if you read, it says, I lifted up my eyes and looked, behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. Then I said, Where are you going? He said unto me, to measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof and what is the length thereof. So write this down. Qualification for expansion is capacity. If you look at what that angel did there, he was measuring. Alright? He's measuring them. Jerusalem. He's looking at what is the capacity that they could that that these people have. And God says, My vision is for Jerusalem to not have walls. Now, what God was saying is, I don't want them to have limitation. God doesn't want you limited. Are you listening? He doesn't want you limited. He doesn't want you. What I'm going to teach you today will really challenge your train of thoughts. What you've been taught, okay, how things should be done. I'm going to really challenge that in the next 15-20 minutes. Alright, so try and pay attention. I'm not going to be long, but I'm going to be thorough. And I'll challenge what's already in your mind. Okay. Now God wants you expanded. He wants you to meet your partner, but there are some qualifications to that. Now I said capacity is one of them. Capacity for what? Write that down. Capacity for what? One of the things that you must have capacity for before God chooses to expand you. And the reason for this is because if you don't have capacity, you will lose what he's trying to expand. This is important. God wants you to go long with him a long time. He doesn't want to promote you and you lose the very thing he's put in your life. He wants you and him to journey for a long time. Alright? So one of the things you must have capacity for is number one, with God, is being able to abandon.
