What are you known for, your purpose or your character? This message explores the traits that define us before God and others, drawing lessons from Abraham, Joshua, David, and Barnabas. Discover the importance of reliability, faithfulness, servant-hearted leadership, and building a life that pleases God. Ultimately, the question remains: what are you characterised by?

SPEAKER_01

So we'll be continuing from where we left off, praise God, on Sunday. Did you enjoy that message? Praise God. It's good. So we were talking about, I was talking about the ministry of the Holy Spirit, the ministry of the Holy Spirit. When our Lord Jesus was describing him, he called him a comforter. Praise God. He said, Another comforter. And we found out in the book of John, chapter 14, verse 15. Amen. He said, Another comforter will come. So he took on this name. Later on, he took on this name of Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit. Before he was called Holy Spirit, he was called the Comforter. And perhaps if you translate it in other languages, helper will come out. Amen. But we know that comforter is the closest term to paraclet. Because the actual word in that in John chapter 14 is paraclet. Alos paracletos. That's the term. Amen. So the Holy Spirit, that term Holy Spirit came a little later on, but that derived from others experiencing him and seeing a different side to him. But it's also a good name because it describes his nature. Says he is holy. Do you understand that? He is a pure spirit. A holy spirit. Pure. So when I was studying this, I found that a person is defined by their character or their purpose. And I'll explain where I got that in the Bible. For example, you have. Yeah, you heard about that?

unknown

Yes, sir. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I showed you Abraham the Blessed. Now Abraham was defined by his character. And the character that he carried was that of faith. So because that character trait was so forward when people saw him, he was not characterized by his story or his purpose, but rather his character. Amen. So Abraham was one of those who the Bible recognized by his character. He was a man filled with faith. Amen. But when you move, I'll give you a lot more, I'll read them out to you. But when you move a little bit down in the scripture, you find another man by the name of Joshua. Joshua, the son of Nun. You know Joshua? Son of Nun. Joshua is now defined by his story. It says, Joshua the conqueror. That's what he was known as. He wasn't known. Because you can say conquering is a trait. Conquering is not a character trait. It's something you do. Are you following? So his story cemented him as one to look out for. It was his purpose that cemented him, his story. He was known to conquer Canaan. And he took Israel into that promised land. When Moses couldn't do it, Joshua did it. Because he had the capacity for it. Joshua the conqueror. Amen. But then if you move further down again, you find another man by the name of King David. Who is again characterized by his character, not his purpose. When you hear King David, you hear a man after God's own heart. Are you listening? So you have Joshua who was stapled in the gospel for his purpose. And then you have David who was stapled in the gospel for his character. Amen. Can I read them out to you? Yeah, I'm just gonna read them out to you. I found a few, there's a lot more, but I found a few. You have David, the man after God's own heart, Abraham, the father of faith. So just when I when I read them out just next to them, just write character, purpose, character, purpose, so you're you're clear on exactly what's going on there. Moses was known as the servant of the Lord. Amen. What a story. The man who wrestled, the only man in the Bible to wrestle with God. Is that character? No, his purpose. He dreamed. Is that character? Of course it is. Of course. He was a man of vision. He saw. And I gave you Joshua the conqueror. Elijah was known as the prophet of fire.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

Apostle Paul was known as the apostle to the Gentiles. And Peter was known as the rock. I got a few more, but I I want to just touch on them for a minute. So what I want to put forward to you is what are you going to be characterized by? Are you to be known for something that's very, very bad about you? That's not good about you. Now listen, these men, all right, according to human standards, were not perfect. Moses was called the servant of the Lord, yet he argued with God. David was called the man after God's own heart, yet he killed a man and took his wife. Whilst he himself had multiple wives, but he killed a man and took his wife, and God says that man is after my heart. Praise God. So we are not saying that you will walk perfectly, although you should that's what you should strive for. What I'm trying to tell you, or what I'm going to tell you, or what I should tell you rather, amen. Is there should be a dominant trait that you have? So although you're slipping up here and there, that dominant thing can be seen first by God, and it's being used for his kingdom to push forward the work that he has. Or do you want to be known as likened to Judas? You want to be known likened to Judas? When we speak of Judas, one thing that comes to our minds is that he was a thief. But the thing above his habit of stealing was his betrayal. And Judas did good things. I mean, he made it into the twelve apostles, he made it, that's a good thing. Many were scanned and didn't make it. Judas made it. No one speaks of that. What we speak of is the fact that he betrayed the Lord Jesus and he was a thief. So, question what is it that you are known for so far? First in your family, second in the house of God. What is it that you are known for? And if it's a bad thing, all right, I'm here to give you the gospel, which is the good news, is that you're still alive. You can change that, brother. You can change that, brother. You it doesn't matter, all right, your age, or whether they told you, you know, that you don't have long to live or whatever, you know, you're still alive, you can change that. You can change that. Are you also known as a thief in your own house? A thief in the night. And this is something you can't, you can't, you can't pretend who you are will come out amongst people. They will see you for who you are, it will come out. You cannot pretend. So they may see some negatives here and there, but there'll be a dominant thing. There'll be, there's something about this person. He has, you know, have you met a person who is around wrong people, but he has a good heart? Oh, yeah, I've met those people. I was one of them. I was around terrible people, but everyone around us could tell that there's something different about the way I go about things. Do you understand that? So we may all do the bad thing together, but in the in our circle, we all know he really didn't want to do it. It's the nature of one's heart. Amen. So I want you to assess yourself right now because the messages that I gave you from Sunday to now can staple you in the kingdom. What will you be known as? When uh a few years ago, when I had just met my my wife, um maybe a couple of months after she said, you know, you can correct me if I'm wrong, because maybe I'll get this a little bit incorrect. But she would she would say, You know, you know what my friends call you? And I said, What do they call me? I was interested. They're already calling me names. What is it that they're calling me now? Amen. What do your friends call me? And she said, L'homme capable. It's French, you know, it means the capable man. I thought, okay, I said, that's that's nice. I thought they were gonna say something strange, amen. I said that's nice. So where did that come from? So she began to recant, you know that she tells them about how I how I provide. So at that time, at that time, what stood out to her about me is that I would do anything to provide for my family. You can give me a seed, a tiny lemon seed, and I will come back with a lemon tree. Do you understand? And that the song that she went to sing to her friends, I didn't ask her to do it. I didn't even know that's something she identified within my character. She may have identified a lot of other things, some terrible things, all right, and that's the truth. She may have identified things she didn't like, but she said the dominant one is that this man can provide. Are you listening? So, what's your dominant trait? When people come around you, what is it that they can see? I've heard others speak about others and say, be careful with that guy or that girl, she lies a lot. You want to be known as a liar? That's your dominant trait. You just lie, white lies, and even in the house of God, it's coming out. You came from you came from the bus stop. We ask you, where did you come from? I was dropped off by a cab. Why? Why? We we understand if you lie, all right, we we have a maybe more of an understanding if you lie and it adds to you, you understand, and in some tangible way, but you're you're you're you're lying, and it there's no addition. Amen. How was your day today? You can say my day was good, but you start lying. I went gym. You didn't go to the gym. You stopped making up this entire you know, this entire thing. And you believe it. I went gym, I did this, I did that. I had coffee, I was tired, but you did none of those things. Do you know someone like that? Don't be shy, tell me. Do you know someone like that? It might you might be nominating yourself, amen. No, what do you want to be identified as? And the interesting thing about what I'm dealing with now, this topic I'm dealing with now, isn't this is not something you can force. This thing will come out when you're at your most relaxed, your most vulnerable. The real you comes out. Do you understand? Have you met have you ever met an annoyingly fun person? Person is fun but annoying. But you're not saying you're not saying the person is annoying and fun. You're saying the person is fun, then annoying. Because the fun side jumps at jumps out, it comes out at you, and you find yourself going back to that person. Because the first thing is that they are fun to be around. Praise God forevermore. So Joshua was known as the conqueror, he had it in his spirit to conquer. When you you see, when you talk to a conqueror, you can hear it in everything he says. Do you understand? Yeah, you give him a plate of food, he says, I will take over the food. Amen. Do you understand? He the way he talks, he he just wants to take over. That's his mind, dominion. Amen. Have you ever met a loving person? Have you bumped into a loving person before? Everything they do is with love, they hug you with love. Amen. Have you ever met a wise person? I've met an angry, wise person, but in his anger he had wisdom. So when he would speak, it would be as though God is speaking. And he reminded me a lot of a man called Ahitophel in the Bible. Yeah, there's a man called Ahithophel in the Bible who advised David. And the Bible says when Ahitophel would speak, it would be as if God Himself has spoken. Amen.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So Ahitophel was wise, but Ahitophel died terribly. So what is your dominant dominant uh trait? Now marrying that or putting right beside that your purpose, there are There are two ways to define it. Okay. You have the character in you that is dominant, that may be negative or positive. But then on the other side, you have someone who may have terrible uh terrible personality, but he is so obsessed with his purpose. You look at this person and say, This person is purpose-driven. So you may find a man of God that you don't like. You say, I'm not really fond of the way he does ministry. But one thing I can say is he's focused. Amen. You may even find a politician you don't like. Say, this politician, you know, I don't like his policies, I've read I've read his um his bylaws, I've read, you know, all this stuff, and I don't like it. But you know, he's very focused. So he his focus on his purpose takes the attention away from his bad character, but it puts it on his purpose. So all eyes are now on how disciplined he is, how ferocious he is about his purpose. Praise God forevermore. And that's what we found about Joshua. Now let me tell you something. If I have to come to you and say, be courageous, it means you're not a courageous person. So there's a myth there. Many people teach that Joshua was very bold. He wasn't. He wasn't God made him bold. With God, he became a conqueror. Praise God. Have you read Joshua 1? Yeah, he said, be focused. Alright, meditate on my word day and night. These are things Joshua was not doing.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

These are things that he wasn't doing. So God had to tell him, I need you to become like this if you're gonna take Canaan, you have to be a conqueror. Amen. God is so encouraging. This is the beauty of the Holy Spirit. Now, because when you look at Moses, God approached him. Moses started talking about what he believed his dominant trait was. You understand? Yeah, he he forgot that he grew up in Egypt. He forgot that he was in Pharaoh's house, he forgot all of that. What he was focused on is I can't speak properly. I have a stomach, you know, I stutter a lot, I can't speak. That's what Moses was focused on. God said, I'm not interested in that. Praise God. So as we're building the house of God, all right, you will find that many different personalities will rise in the body, in the house. You have some who will become conquerors. You give them a target and they meet those targets. And I don't want you to be found among those who always have some type of excuse. Let me tell you how how pivotal this thing is. Yeah, I'll tell you, I'll tell you this, and this is important for you to learn if you want to be somebody in this life. Yeah, did you know that children can identify who can provide for them and who cannot? If you didn't know, I'm informing you, from the tender age of two, they they know who to go to when they want food. They know who to go to when they want to sleep. How how do the children know? Ask yourself that question. How does a child know this is the person I must go to if I want comfort? How does the child know this is the person I must go to? Alright, if I want some sort of food in my stomach. How? If children can identify it, alright, if children can look at you and identify what you can do for them, then God can. And write this down. God is a good investor. God, say it with me. God is a good investor. Say God is a good investor. Say God is a good investor. So what am I trying to tell you? I'm saying that there are certain things that God will avoid bringing to you because He knows you are a person full of excuses. We've told you, for example, all right, you you're part of maybe the social media department, and we tell you, post this. You're unable to do it. There's an excuse one after the other. Or you're in the music, we've given you a responsibility. There's always something. There's always something. You're part of the ushers. We give you a responsibility. You're your most of the time, we see you maybe once a month. Most services, you're not even there. So, what are you ushering? Your own life. This kind of message will mature you. God is an investor, He knows who will give Him excuses. Listen, you see in this in this ministry, I know who to call when I want to get things done. There was there was only one name. Now there's another rising right behind that first name. And my wife has identified the same person. Amen. When when you want something, there's an instruction is given you want something done, call this gentleman or call this lady. They will make sure that this thing happens. How did we identify that? Because we went around and tried different people. Yeah, we will give you responsibility and see the excuses here. Oh, I slept late. Oh, I was sick. Oh, this happened. Oh, this happened. And God is not interested in all that. Can I show you something? Go to Acts chapter 4. Acts chapter 4. Because some people will say, No, God is understanding. Indeed, He is. That's why He will not judge you. But that doesn't mean because He's understanding, He will give you responsibility for you to mess it up. God's understanding stops at judgment. So He will understand. Okay, you were sick, or you had this, or you had this, so that's no problem. There's no judgment. And He still loves you. But we are talking about responsibility. It's a whole different topic. Responsibility. Acts chapter 4. What did I give you? 26. Do I have a reader? Okay, okay, go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, sir. Acts chapter 4 from verse 26 says, The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers were gathered together.

SPEAKER_01

Sorry, I want you to do something for me. Jump to 36.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, sir. Acts chapter 4 from verse 36 says, and Joseph, who was also named Barnabas by the Apostles, which is translated son of encouragement, a Levite of the country of Cyprus. Verse 37. Having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

SPEAKER_01

So let let me let me explain something to you there. This gentleman's name was Joseph. Yeah. And the apostles named him, they surnamed him, so they changed his second name. So it's Joseph Barnabas. That was his name right after this uh verse 37. Okay, you know why they did that? Because they needed to raise money. Joseph didn't look around and say, I only have a property and some land, I don't have anything physical. Joseph knew he had no tangible cash. He sold his house, sold the land, took the money, and brought it at the apostles' feet. So they changed his name to Son of Consolation. By the way, in case you didn't notice, yeah, uh Joseph was identified by what? Was it character or his purpose? They said son of consolation. So that means this is a this is the type of guy who would console you, he would come and make up for the for the for the failure. Where there's inefficiency, Joseph comes in and makes it efficient. And we don't know much about Joseph, but what we do know is that he is the only son of consolation after Christ because Christ was also called a son of consolation. So Joseph took after the master. Now, say put yourself in Joseph's shoes. You have a mortgage, yeah, or a property you've paid off completely, and the church is raising money because when you have a project, will you look around and say, you know, I'll wait for my next paycheck? Or will you do what Joseph did? And this is not something you can force, this is something that's natural. Now, some will say, Well, you have to be moved by the spirit to do that. Does it say he was moved by the spirit? Can we read the text again? Let's read the text again. Just for those who say, Yeah, you know, to do something of that magnitude, you have to be moved by the spirit. So let's read. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you, sir. Acts chapter 4, from verse 36, says, And Joseph, who was also named Barnabas by the Apostles, which is translated, son of encouragement, a Levite of the country of Cyprus. Verse 37, having land, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

SPEAKER_01

Amen. Now, when you jump to chapter 5, it now identifies another set of individuals who in the same situation lied. Ananias and Sapphira, husband and wife, colluded to lie to the man of God about raising money. But Joseph didn't, Joseph said, it doesn't matter if I find myself in lack, I'm gonna do what I believe I'm called to do. I'm gonna sell my land, take the money, put it at the apostles' fee. Now, let me give you a fun fact. Uh, something you probably missed in that verse as well. Yeah, I I said read from 36, but if you go above 36, so you go to 35, you find that others were doing the same thing. Should we read that? Okay, let's read that. So it says, Let's let's let's read from 34. So it says, Oh 33, it's nicer, alright? And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. That's nice. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many were possessors of lands or houses, sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold. Is that in your Bible? Verse 35, and laid them down at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. So, if everyone else was doing it, what makes Joseph so special? That's the question you must ask yourself. Why did they decide we'll change this guy's name? They wouldn't have given it to him if that was the first time he'd done it. So, what that tells me is that Joseph had a habit of being radical when it came to being efficient for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise God forevermore. So for your character, for you to be identified as this type of person, it's a deep thing. I really want you to pick up on this. It's a very deep thing because some people are addressed by name. John.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Eliab. Samuel the prophet was addressed as prophet of the most high. Not prophet Samuel, no. Prophet of the most high. His calling was ringing. What's on top of your head? What will people call you? Jezebel was known for something. You must be known for something. Whether good or bad, you must be known for something. What did you do in the house of God that people are now calling you out of that place? Do you understand? The reformer. Okay? Do you understand? Kingdom Financer. Who where are you placed exactly? Or are you there? You know, some people think that's what church is. Just bring my this so I bring my problems. You can start there, my brother. You can start, you can, you can come to church and start there. As in, I come there to bring my problems. That's where that's how I started. But three years in, that's not my story anymore. I went to a conference, and I was so proud. You know, I went to this conference, and the man of God was calling out issues. You know, this is a man of God, a prophet, he was calling out issues, and uh, and then after calling out different issues, he said, raise your hand, all right? If you have a problem that you want God to fix, the anointing for it is in the room. Everyone raise their hands, and I thought, I was going to that. I don't have any problems. I don't have any problems. The person beside me was probably thinking I need to pay rent, I passed that level. The person on my right was probably thinking I have, you know, one of my someone is barren in the family, I've passed that level. Another was thinking, Oh, I need to pray for my children. I don't have that problem. One of my children is sick, none of my children are sick, and they will never be sick. You find yourself in that place, okay, ready to sacrifice everything when you're sold out for the purpose or on character. So, for example, if someone says, I will be a man after God's heart, you know what that means? He's ready to do anything to prove to God that he's after his heart, and then you have the man on the right who says, I will do anything to make sure there's money in the house of God. So then there's that person, all right, who's ready to do anything like Joseph did. Because when we preach such a gospel, you find that we get criticized a lot. Why is it always about money? I've taught on this, it's it's not always about money, but money is important because money represents everything you can buy. In case you didn't know that, yeah, even your praise changes when you're broke. Maybe I should move on. Yeah, yeah, your praise changes when your pay comes into. So it's not all about the money, but money is a factor. Amen. So he said it says Joseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, which is being interpreted the son of consolation, a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus. So he was described, and then his country was identified right after, and all the other things that are not really that important. Amen. Elijah is another one I like to talk about. The prophet of fire. God said, I need a man that I can bring up in such a time that can prove to King Ahab because I'm not happy with him that God still spits fire. So if God once has a mission in the ministry, who will he pick out? And you know what? Who he picks out is highly dependent on how you've been behaving since you've arrived. And you know, when I read about Paul and uh Apostle Paul and uh Apostle Peter, I I I said, I want to be one of them. I want to be the one of the ones he comes to and asks, you know, what do you think we should do about this? You know, it tells me that I'm important. You know, I've done I've done enough. And my brothers and sisters, the only thing that matters is what God thinks of you. Praise God. Don't be that person, okay. You know, I think the word is pedantic. Okay, don't don't be a person who you're always finding little things to complain about. You walk in, you know, the service supposed to start at 7 30. I know you know I'm dealing with black people, so this 7 45 is 8 o'clock. You know, the service will start at 8 o'clock. You know what you've done there? You've told us who you are. You've told us exactly who we are, who you are. Now we know what to bring to you and what not to bring to you. And if we want problem solved, we can't bring it to you. No, no, no, no, no, no. You are a journalist. Yeah, you you're a journalist. Yes, blogger is another one. Yes, you must write blogs, you know, about things that you know you don't like. Yeah, you're a journalist in the house of God. If that if the service is supposed to start at half seven and everyone starts at 7:45, what does a wise person do? Someone who wants to be part of the solution. What do you do? What do you do in such a situation? Find something to help about. You go and look, you go searching. What is it that's delaying the service every week for us to start 15 minutes after? I will solve that problem. And if you're wise, you will solve the problem and say nothing. Don't be the other guy. You solve the problem and you let everyone know that I was the one that did this. Because you're doing it for God, not for man. Amen. Praise God. So, thus far, what have you been labeled? What are you known for? And if you're thinking and you're not happy with what you're known for in the family or what you're known for in the house of God, make up your mind, change lanes. Say, I'm gonna find myself here now. This is where I want to be found. Amen. Yeah, I know who to go to when I want prayers done properly. Yeah, if I want someone to lead prayers properly, there's someone I know I can trust with that. There's others I know because these things are peculiar. There's there's those you can trust with your personal life because they deal with you with such wisdom. So you can trust them with your personal life. And by the way, in case you didn't know, alright, Jesus didn't trust everyone with his personal life. That's why he only took three on the mountain. Amen. Of transfiguration. He didn't take everyone, he had 12, but he took three with him and said, You guys get to see certain things. By the way, the same three saw him crying, the others didn't. He shared some things with those people. And so when I found that, I said, Okay, and I will adjourn here. Yeah, when I found that, these three, I said, What do they all have in common? One, two, what are the individual traits they had? So I started with Peter first. He was the rock. What is the rock? Reliable. Peter was reliable, and Jesus knew I can call upon him and he will answer. Reliable. Are you reliable? And it comes out in your tasks, the tasks we assign to you. How do you handle the tasks we assign to you? And I must say, some of you have proven to be very reliable. Good on you, should be proud. Clap for yourself, some of you. You've proven to be reliable, and some others, not so much, not so much. Can I tell you how you know you're not really reliable when you always have something to apologize about? Even if you haven't apologized yet, you know I will I have to apologize for this. Every time it's sorry, sir. Sorry, sir, sorry, sir. Even before you have the conversation with me, you know I have to apologize for sorry, sir. You're not reliable. Praise God. I'm ready to do what needs to be done. We gave you a department. We said when we have events, just cook one milk, the same milk is always something. I need money for the ingredients. I need it. We gave you one job. One one job. One pack another role we gave you. Just pack the instruments. That's all. That's it. Just pack the instruments. Please. Just pack them. Just pack the instruments nicely. At the end of the service, we find you chatting at the back. And then after you finish chatting, we find you outside. You're signaling us. I'm gonna go and get food. The things we go through as leaders requires a lot of patience. I learned this a long time ago. God said, I can't I I can't rely on you. Alright? If you don't fix these certain things, and if I cannot rely on you, there are certain messages I cannot give you, which means that your life cannot move past a certain stage.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I want to address this last thing. There's individuals who have. I don't know if you've ever come across an individual that he hasn't he or she hasn't necessarily done anything, but you can't trust them. It's a vibe you get. I'm spiritual, so I've had that before. Have you heard that before? Maybe maybe not. I don't know. You know, and we we see it a lot with our parents. Okay, our parents will tell us about our friends. We say, I don't trust that guy. I don't trust that guy. It's a prophet, it's a it's a prophetic unction on them for their children. I says, I I don't trust that guy. Maybe I'll phrase it this way. Women, have you ever kept come across a guy he's shown interest in you, but you're like something fishy about this guy. Raise your hand if you've come across that. You have a prophetic unction on your on yourself for yourself. As parents have a prophetic unction on them for the kids, you have it on yourself to protect yourself, they have it on them to protect the kids. The pastor has it to protect the church. The department leaders have it to protect the pastor. You thought I was gonna say the department. This thing called ministry is different, I'm telling you. Your prophetic, your prophetic unction on you, yeah, is to defend the set man, because the set man is what is where God is working. I'll give you an example. Yeah, you see, if I stand here, yeah, and I I can preach a good word to you, but um let's say I preach about okay, I'll give you a better example. Let's say I come forward and I was to preach on uh judgment day, and then just before we come here, me and her have a disagreement, and then I come here and I say, Um, wives, you must honor your husbands now not now now for forget that that is a shot I've shot at her. Forget that. What I want you to focus on is that the message is good. I've not said a bad thing, I said wives, submit unto your husbands. It's in the Bible, amen. But irrespective of the message, it's about the heart that is ministering it. So if my heart is offended at her, and that's where it's coming from, you guys will go home and argue. Forget what I said, what did I minister? So you will go home and start arguing with each other. You think, ha, we just came from church. Why are we arguing? We were fine even before church, after church, we're not arguing. You're arguing because of the pastor. The pastor was offended when he preached, and he gave that to you, he transmitted it to you through the message. So you got home and your partner said something, you said, Why are you talking to me like that? Usually you wouldn't get angry at that, but you got angry. You know why the pastor was offended when he was teaching a good message. So the prophetic on you is to protect him because he is the one that God is speaking to for you, about you, to you. How do you do that? Someone comes in the house with strange intentions, you should be switched on. You're a child of the house. You go to your father and say, There's something about that person. I don't know, but there's something. Or you go to the mother of that, there's something. I don't know, there's something. You find yourself praying for the pastor a lot, you're praying, you're praying, you're praying. What I'm teaching you is maturity. This is mature. Amen. When you're mature, it's not about you, it's about others. This is where I would like to adjourn. But I want you to take this away because I'm gonna continue again um next week. I want you to take this away. Alright, that you are building your house with every word you say and every move you make, you're building the house in which God will ask you to live in. I'll repeat that again. Every word you speak and every decision you make, your attitude in the house of God, every time that is seen or heard by God, just imagine you are building a house brick by brick. So every time you say something wrong, you're building a house. Every time you act offended, you'll build a house. One day, God will ask you to live in that house. You understand that? Yeah, and the question is, will you be happy with the state of your home? Will you turn around and say, I didn't know this was my house? And God says, Go and live in there now. Say, no, no, no, no, no. I saw that in the testimony, you know, of a great man of God from Korea. Yeah, great man of God. He said he he was taken to heaven in the middle of his ministry, he was still young, 3,000 people. He was taken to heaven, he had an experience, and the Lord was showing him all the mansions being built. He started naming all these great men of God that you probably have never heard of. This is this one, this is this one, and then they were walking, and the man himself said, Ah, what's this? What's what's this house doing on this in this place next to these ones? Oh, the angel of the Lord said, Oh, that's yours. He said, No, he said, No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. He said, This is this is mine. He said, This is yours. This is yours. You you will make it into heaven, but this is where you will stay. It's a terrible thing. I'm telling you. Making it into heaven is the easy part. How will you will you enter in style? Will you be honored for being a son of consolation? Yeah, you understand that? He said, Who whose house is that? First of all, it was half-built. Number one. Okay, half. It was it, it was a he said the structure was nothing like he's seen on earth. It was terrible. Yeah, he said it looked like the bottom should be at the top, the top should be at the he said it is difficult to describe, but it just didn't look like a house, it looked like a place. That's it, just a place, but not a house. Location is the is the better word. So the the man of God said he was shattered. He said, No, no, no, we have to discuss how I got here, and you know what the angel should I tell you oh, should I tell you next week? Next week, next week, next week, so you can come back. I'm only seeing this movie here every week. I'm gonna see anyone number. So so should I tell you then so the man of God asked God, he said, he said, how did it, how did the state, how did my own get like this? I'm also building, I'm fighting for the gospel on earth. You know what the angel of the Lord said? The angel of the Lord said, Um, all the other stuff that you're seeing there, it's because you were doing it, you did a lot of good things, you were a philanthropist and all of that, but you did them for people to see. And then the angel of the Lord said to him, You see that one good item, because he's he didn't mention what the item was, he said there was a glowing item in the house, nice, and the thing was unfinished. But he said he could see that it was glowing, it was nice, it was like food for the soul. He said, The angel of the Lord said, See that item there, that's you've only done one good thing in your 37. One good thing according to the gospel, one, and that's the item there. He said, What's that thing? He said, Do you remember one day it was snowing, it was so cold, and you were driving in your entourage, you stopped the car, you saw a man sitting in the cult. You took off your jacket and your shoes and you gave it to him. Nobody saw you, and you went in the car and you went and you went home to your hot house. That's the item there. He said the more he he was itching to get back to earth. He said, I will do things differently. I have to do things differently. Praise God. So he understood the commodity in the things of God is a lot to do with your heart. It's a lot to do with your heart. What kind of child are you? What type of son are you? What type of son or daughter are you of the house? Are you there to destroy? Or are you there to build? People that build, and this part the Spirit of God wants me to minister, people that build are very good at covering other people's mistakes. It goes back to what I was saying on Sunday about comforting, you cover people's mistakes. Yeah, don't join the league of those that are ready to expose. I must expose, you know, because if you act that way, God will also deal with you in the same way. And trust me, if God starts exposing you, you'll be it will be very bad. If he exposes you, don't be that person, amen. So I hope the message has blessed you, amen.
