Christ-likeness is the lifelong process of allowing Christ to transform every area of your life. God establishes boundaries that protect, refine, and prepare you for lasting fruit. Obedience may be difficult at first, but it produces lasting sweetness. As you behold God through His Word, you grow into His likeness, walk in victory, and become led by His Spirit.

You know at different times of your of your life you will find that God wears different faces. And in this time, of course we knew it because the Bible tells us, but in this time, He has helped us. And if you're a person who's been helped by God, you can't not sing about it. So today I want to talk to you about Christ likeness. In Christlike. Because we often wonder how do we infuse the Bible into our daily life? How do we do that? Christlieness. Very important. So when Christ comes into your life, he doesn't desire to leave things as they are. Praise God. When Christ comes into your life, he desires change, reform. And that eventually translates into you then being able to do the same thing for other people. Praise God. And so that's why you find that when Christ comes into your life and you're not creating much impact. Alright? In other people's lives means you don't have enough of him. Praise God. I'll ask the ushers to minimize the movements. Praise God. Minimize the movements and ensure that you're sitting down. From the beginning of time, from the very beginning, Christ would come in and see, observe, and start changing things. Amen. And you find that first in Genesis chapter one. I would like us to go there. We look at Genesis chapter one. Are we able to get that on the screen? Go ahead, sir. Yeah. I think um the second microphone isn't working. Thank you, sir. Genesis chapter one, verse one says, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Verse 2, the earth was without bird and light, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Okay, so if you look at verse 1, thank you. It says, In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now, between verse 1 and verse 2, I've spoken to some of you about this before. There's a massive, massive gap. So don't look at verse 1 and think verse 2 happened immediately. There's a massive gap. And a lot of what happened between verse 1 and verse 2 is written in other in other transcripts in the Bible. Praise God. You find it in the book of Jude, you find it in the book of Ezekiel, you can find it in a lot of different even in the book of Isaiah, the book of Psalms, it tells us a lot of what happened between there. Amen. But that's uh a story for another time. The Bible says the earth was without form, so something happened. God created the heavens and the earth. Something happened, then the earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Bible says, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Praise God. I found this interesting because a lot of non-believers' lives look like that. It's uh without form, void, and dark. Non-believers, that's what they look like. Void, without form, and dark. And darkness to some individuals, their lives are so dark you can see it on them when you meet them. And some of you would say this person has bad energy. This is a negative person. Amen. But that's just their life, their communion with Satan coming out over time. Praise God. And then it says, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Now, I want you to notice that in the midst of darkness, in the midst of the void, in the midst of formlessness, God was present. Are you listening? In the middle of all of that, God was present. He was there the entire time. But nothing changed. It says God was there. Is that in your Bible? And does it say the spirit of Satan was hovering over the waters? It says the spirit of God. And the spirit of God. Now I want you to notice something else. Just keep taking notes as I'm telling you. It says the earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. The face of the deep. That is the bottom of the ocean. That is the bottom of the ocean. Darkness was at the bottom of the ocean. That represents the heart of earth. And the Bible says that the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. So the presence of Satan was at the heart of earth, but the presence of God was above. Many Christians still look like that. But somehow the presence of Satan is still evident in your life. Would you like to change that? Would you like to change that? I discovered whilst reading the Bible that God's vision is not for us to go through tough times. And I will show you. Alright, let me show you. It says, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Let's go to verse 2. Verse 2, please. Okay, go to the next. Okay, verse 2 is there. Go to the next one. The next verse, sorry, verse 3. Then God said, Let there be light, and there was light. And God saw the light and that it was good. And God divided the light from the darkness. Very important points. I'll take you to the previous verse again, and I'll bring you here. Let's go back to verse 1. Today is for studying. Let's go, let's go. So you need to follow me very carefully. It says the earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. Darkness was on the face of the deep. Now remember, I told you the massive story between one and two. Darkness was there because it was sent there. Before darkness got there, there was no darkness. There was no void. Everything was fine. When that disagreement happened in the third heaven and Satan landed on earth, that's what you're seeing there now. The earth took the form of the presence that landed in it. Do you understand that? But the Spirit of God was still there. Go to verse 3 now. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. But now something that's interesting is this. Number one, God declared there to be light, but he looked at the light and it was still merged with darkness. You understand that? So I don't know how you're gonna imagine that, but God said, Let there be light, and he saw the light, it was merged with darkness, and he said it was good. Should I skip this part? Is it too much for you? Is that in your Bible? God saw the light that it was good, and then he divided the light from the darkness. So, what was it before then? It was light and darkness together. And God looked and said, This is good.

God doesn't design or desire, sorry, for you to go through tough times. But tough times amplify the reasons for you needing God. God understood that for his value to increase, he needs to allow darkness to be there. Most of us have only found God when things got tough. Praise God. Did you know that God deals with you based on your own nature? So when he notices something about you, he starts to deal with you in that manner. So God deals with stubborn people stubbornly. Praise God. So the Bible says, and the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light day in the darkness, he called night. Move on. Verse 4. So the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. I love this, but I'm gonna stop here with Genesis. Yeah, what I read there when I was reading this, the Lord was ministering to me. When I come into your life, when I enter one's life, the first thing I will do is show them why they need me. The second thing I will do is I will create boundaries. Now, this is where the fight begins. You will find that when you give your life to Christ, he will say, I recommend you don't do this anymore.

You may think, but why? Why should I stop this? But God says stop anyway. Praise God. God is not happy with your life being up and down. God wants you consistently, prosperous, and glorious, consistently. I've met believers that believe that God wants them to have a life of up and down. So you miss some, you lose some, and you win some. God prepared everything, He took everything and put them together. And he said, Alright, my children, I did something beautiful for you. I've created something nice for you. I put it together. He said, Go and live there. I gave you an apartment, go and live there. And here come the kids walking in, they get in and they start creating their own rules. The landlord said, Don't do this. They come in and start creating their own rules. Ask yourself, why is there so much evil in this world? I was meditating on it earlier today. I asked God, why is there so much evil? I watched a video of a journalist saying, and there was footage of this, what she was saying while she was speaking. A three-year-old was hanged because of a war happening, and the three-year-old came from another country just across the border. The three-year-old had lost his parents, and he was just wandering, running around, and they found him and they realized that he's not from our country, he's from the other country. They took the three-year-old, hanged him, and videoed him. How can your heart be so dark? How can your heart be so loveless that you hang a three-year-old? But the Bible gives us an explanation for all of those things. It's clear. A man can hang a three-year-old when he's living by his own rules. But when Christ comes in, he puts boundaries and he starts giving you rules to live by. And those who understand the scripture or understand Christ, understand that I don't have to like it. I don't have to desire. I don't even have to desire this. But if he tells me to do it, this is something that I will do. Say, I don't have to like it.

Praise God. Now the reason why I gave you this verse is because you're gonna see something very amusing in Judges. You're gonna find that the children of Israel would forget God, find themselves in a bit of a pickle, cry out to God, then he will save them. Then they will leave him again. Cry out to him because they're in a pickle. He will save them again, then they will leave him again, and they will. An ongoing relationship just like that. But there's a part of it that you probably will not see as you read, unless you're very, very uh detailed is that the economy of Israel was tanking over time. So in the beginning, the Bible says here, if you go back to verse uh one, verse seven, sorry, it says, and the children of Israel forgot God, they forgot him. Is that in your Bible? Verse 7. Okay, and they took the daughters, their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and they served their gods. Very interesting. Israel saw women from other countries and said, We want them. We will share, we will cross over, we'll have children with them. God, do you think God didn't know that they will come across beautiful women? But he asked them to stay away from them anyway. God knew that you will come across these beautiful women that have the ability to give you children, stay away from them. Say boundaries. So God may have told you something early on this year and you forgot him. It's those little things that make you Christ-like. Once you follow, you respond to one instruction, you metamorphose into him. Then you respond to another instruction, you become him again. A piece by piece of you turns into Christ when you respond to his call. It could be as little as stay away from chocolates. You say, God can ask me to stay away from chocolates? Yes. He says, Stop it, stop eating chocolates. So, Pastor, are you saying if I stop eating chocolates, I'll be more Christ-like? No. I'm saying if Christ tells you to stop eating chocolates and you obey, you are more Christ-like. It's not about the instruction, it's about who is giving you the instruction. Amen. He knows where you're going, you're going to find temptation. He knows. He knows it will be difficult. He knows. But he asks you to set boundaries and stay away from there anyway. They took their daughters to be their wives and gave their daughters to their sons, and they served their gods. I also noticed as well when God asks me to do something, or asks me not to do something, it's because he knows it will lead me astray. It will lead me away from him. So what is it that the Lord Jesus has asked you to do that you haven't done thus far? But yet you keep complaining about it. You keep complaining about the results of your actions. Praise God. In this ministry, what God is mandating me to do is ensure that you become so much like him that it doesn't matter what environment you go in, you can demonstrate him. Praise God. There's demonstration and there's living by him. God wants you to do both. Why are you suffering? Why are you suffering? Why have why is why have you been suffering for so long? Because you're doing things your own way. And I never understood it. I thought that, you know, I grew up and I thought that demon is strong. We will fast and pray. You know, fast and pray, and uh the person will say, I'm healed, I'm okay, and then go off. And then six weeks, come back again with the same problem. And I thought to myself, ah, this demon is a powerful demon. Until I grew in the faith and grew in the scripture, and I realized, okay, no, the demon is not strong. Look, the Bible says, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Say it with me, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Say it one more time. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Sit down, sit down. Now, now, as the Bible says that, what if you find yourself in a situation where the weapons are prospering? But the Bible says, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Say it again. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. So, Pastor, what if the weapons are pressing? They're prospering, sir. I look to the left, sir. My finances are gone. I look to the right, sir. My finances are gone. I'm now homeless, sir. Whatever weapons have been forged against me, I can see them. They're working. Amen. So, what does that mean? It means you're standing in the wrong place.

You see, when the Lord said to the prophet Isaiah, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. He was expecting Isaiah to be standing in a particular place. If you stand in that place, then really no weapon formed against you shall prosper. If you come out of that place, every weapon formed against you will prosper.

Pick up my mentality. My mentality is the word of God. No, the word of God is truth. And if I'm not experiencing that truth, there's something wrong with me. There's something I'm doing wrong. If I tell my son, stand behind me, you'll be fine. I promise, you will live. All will be well. And then he moves to the right and he gets hurt. And he looks at me and says, But you said, I said, stand behind me. Stand behind me. You understand that? Stand behind me. That's where the protection is. The protection is in the instructions that he gives you when no one can see. When no one is around, what does he tell you? That's where the protection is. That's where the grace is. Praise God. Don't uh see me dealing with heavy cases of witchcraft and think I'm gonna move and do what pastor does by faith. I am in a very peculiar position. What do I mean? I'm not saying to you that I'm special, even though I am. I'm saying to you that I'm positioned in a very special place that I cannot be touched because of where I've chosen to sit. And I'm asking you, if you have wisdom, follow in that path. To be Christ-like is to follow the little instructions that he gives you during the day, the tiny ones, praise God. So God says, God says, you're dating someone. God says, no, no, no, abandon that relationship. God said, abandon the relationship. Sister. God said, abandon the relationship. If you if we go back to that verse, go go back to that verse. To the uh Judges chapter 3. There's something I want to show you in verse 6. Yeah, and I noticed this all over the Bible, and it was very, very heart-wrenching. It says, and they took their daughters to be their wives, and so Israel took the daughters of the others to be their wives and gave their daughters to their sons. Yeah? And they served their gods. Look, look, it says, and they, whose day? Israel. Everywhere you look in the scripture, you find that if a man and a woman marry, the man will always serve the gods of the women. Somehow the woman has the influence to turn his head away from God. And God knows that. So he said, I don't want you to share. Israel, I don't want you to give yourself to these people. But look what happened. And they served their gods. So the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. That's what God was avoiding. Amen. So God said, abandon that relationship. You persisted. You fought for it. Now, can I give you a quick secret about relationships quickly before we move on? Can I or should I not? When you find yourself in a relationship with an individual, you must know what God has allowed the female to be dominant in and the male to be dominant in. So naturally you find that when a husband and a wife come together, a man and a woman come together, there are things that the woman will naturally conform to, and there are things that the man will also naturally conform to. Praise God. Once you study that, start studying now that person's spiritual vulnerabilities. So their women fought that way. Their men behaved that way. Praise God. Then you may find another country, and the women over there are more into rituals. Do you understand? You find that this is my tribe, our tribe will do things this way. This is why God has an opinion on who you come together with. Because who you come together with will determine the viability of your relationship with the Holy Spirit. You met her, you came together, and she diluted your desire for wanting God. Let's read on. Amen. Let's read on. It took Israel eight years to see that they were suffering. That's what the lust of the flesh can do. Eight years. I've met individuals who have been married for 25 years. On the 25th year, it's like he wakes up and says, That woman was a curse for me. So what happened? For 25 years, you were sitting there. For 25 years everything was fine. On the 25th year, you realized that that woman was a curse for you. And the Lord wanted me to minister to you before I move on. The Lord wanted me to minister to you this. That in Him, when He asks you to do something, in the moment it may not be sweet, but the sweetness comes after. But when Satan asks you to do something, the sweetness is now, the bitterness is after. Do you know what psyop is? Psychological warfare. Psychological operation. Satan will lead you in with sweetness. He said, This is sweet. So in the moment, you're following. You like it. It's nice. You're enjoying. And then when he when he realizes that okay, you're locked in now, then the bitterness starts coming out. Can I give you a testimony of a gentleman? This gentleman said that he joined the cult in university. In Ghana. Amen. He was at university in Ghana and he joined the cult. Now as he joined this cult, he was looking for money. Things were terrible. Things were tough. So he joined a cult that eventually uh they they initiated him and they said to him, A woman, a very beautiful woman, will come to you once a month and you will sleep with her and lay with her, and then money after you finish will appear in the in the wardrobe. In your wardrobe. So he said, No problem. He finished his initiation, and uh this lady would appear once a month. He said it went like that for about four to five months. He said it was good, and he said it was so good because she was unusually beautiful, like unusually, she was perfect. He said, You don't he doesn't know where she was coming from, but she was perfect, and he loved it, and he bragged, and he would try to initiate his uh other friends. Amen. Can I continue? After some time, it went to seven months, eight months, the money was coming in and he was saving and he was spending, and it was nice. He was buying cars and all this stuff. He said, He noticed that she stopped coming for a month, he didn't see her, then she came back, and this time she requested that he sees her four times a month. He said that was okay because he actually wanted to see her. Then after one year it increased. Now he was she was seeing him for 10 to 15 times a month. Then it increased again, and he said to the point that it was every day. And if he didn't uh perform, she would be angry and she would whip him. Now, let me explain to you, let me explain to you the dangers of this thing. Now this this young man said he would lay with her so much in the day, sometimes four or five times a day, that he would have no energy to do anything. And then on top of that, the money is there, he can't even go out to use the money. So the money's the money's piling, but there's no use of the money because he's ill. He said he'll spend his days just eating, preparing for that. And it went from four to five to six to seven, eight times a day. That's when he would he would beg her. He would say, Please, I'm dying. Now, how did he know he was dying? He said he lost an immense amount of weight. Because that thing is it's it's blood. Praise God. But when when when he started, he was advertising. Some of you, when you when you before you gave your life to Christ, you found a club and you told all your friends, let's go clubbing. You started advertising for the club. You found a festival, you you you advertise for the festival. That's the nature of Satan, that's the nature of sin. Sin is sweet in the beginning and bitter at the end. Righteousness is bitter in the beginning and sweet at the end. But listen, it's only bitter in the beginning because you're not used to it. Amen. He told you, stay away from illegal activity. So now you've gone broke. Tough in the beginning, it's sweet at the end. Praise God. He tells you, you're with someone, he said, do not fornicate, don't touch her, leave her. Have you noticed that when you fall into that thing, you start arguing? As you engage in nothing, the toxicness begins. Praise God. You don't like this message, do you? In the beginning, he said, Leave her alone. But because of your greed, you were greedy. You ran with your hands to touch. And what was to be beautiful now has turned bitter. Do you know why God tells you to wait? Can I tell you why he says wait? Yeah? Okay. I'll tell you why he says wait. God says wait because there's a refining process when you two are getting to know each other in that time. He's refining both of you for each other. If you interrupt the refinement process, it's as good as eating raw meat because you're hungry.

So in that time, because your relationship is broken by God and the Holy Spirit is involved, He's now working on each person for each person. And you find that when you're married, when you get in there, it doesn't mean there will be no problems. But there's a sweetness you can experience. And that sweetness covers blemishes. Because you touched her, now her blemishes are too much for you. So everything she does irritates you. You're way too quiet. But if you leave her alone and marry her, then you do that. Her mistakes become bearable because of the sweetness of the refinement. It's a mature message, this thing. It takes mature minds to understand. Praise God. You may find yourself fighting against time. You say, Pastor, look, God has weight. You say, No, no, I haven't got time. I'm pressed for time. Amen. When God gives an instruction, I advise follow the instructions. I recommend that you follow the instruction. Get good at following those little, little instructions. Amen. We want to build a ministry of obedient people. Those who are obedient to the voice of the Spirit. When he talks, no matter how difficult, you're ready to obey. I will do it. God says, your church is here. And we move to Bristol. Say, ah, why should I travel to Bristol? It's the little instructions. Do you know who you meet in Bristol? Praise God. Do you know that most connections are made on the journey and not at home? That was too much for you. You don't understand it. I don't think you understand that. Did you understand what I just said? Before the deliverance, he looked at Israel and said, This is where you're going wrong. Praise God forevermore. So if you're looking for a life of from glory to glory to glory, God has to assess you before he delivers you. There needs to be an assessment first. He needs to look at you, scan you, and see what it is that you are doing wrong. I remember giving you an illustration of a pastor who God had warned him many years ago, God said to him, I want you to stop drinking coffee. He didn't want to do it. And by the way, when God told him stop drinking coffee, God, I believe that in his mind he didn't disobey out of rebelliousness. But God said, Stop that. And he would drink this coffee in his favorite uh mug. And in drinking this coffee in his favorite mug, the coffee ended up killing his son. I'll explain. I'll explain. This was his favorite mug. Every morning he would drink coffee in there. God said to him multiple times, I want you to stop. I want you to stop. He continued. One day, his son broke the mug. He's a child. He broke the mug. Out of anger, he took a stick and started beating the child. He beat the child. I told you, I've told you multiple times he started beating the child. As he beat the child, he noticed the child was bleeding from the nose. Nose bleeding. By the time he noticed that the child was no longer moving. That was four years after God had told him.

You continue. And you land a man who cannot control the lust of his flesh. And you complain that that man has no self-control. How do you think he got you? The message the Lord is ministering to you is to assess your life. What did he tell you to do that you haven't done? That has caused you so much problems. And he's giving you the grace today to follow that instruction. I thought you'd say amen. What has he told you to do? Assess yourself. What has he told you to do that you've been fighting? The Lord may have asked you to increase your fasting time. The Lord is even saying to me now that there's an individual in here that he's told you take the alcohol out of the fridge, put it in the bin. You haven't done it yet. He said that bottle, he said, stop drinking, take the alcohol, put it in the bin. He told you to do it, but you didn't do it. It's been in there for some time. He told you stop this thing. Stop it. And it was it was a conviction you just had in your heart that I need to stop. Praise God. The Lord may say to you, Control, I need you to control your anger. Control your anger. One day you will kill someone. Control yourself.

I pray that the Lord delivers your enemies into his own hand. Those who are after your progress, those who are fighting your progress. God has delivered you from them. And he's ushering them into a place of judgment. Read on. Look at that. If you want peace, just follow the scripture. If you want peace. Fight against mixing culture and the Bible. Fight it with all that you have. Because culture will land you in that eight years of bondage. Praise God. Yeah, fight against it. If you notice culture slipping in, all right, slipping into your lifestyle. Cut it off. Watch this. Glory after glory. From faith to faith. That's what your life should look like. And he tells you how your life can look like that. He says, but we all with unveiled face. So it means open face. What do you think he's talking about there? What where else does the Bible say? What else does the Bible say is a mirror? It's the scripture. So he says, when you look at the scripture, the glory of the Lord is on you. You're being transformed into the same image. And as you're being transformed into the same image, that causes you to live from glory to glory. So what you're doing now is you're looking in the mirror. As I'm teaching you the word, you're looking in the mirror. And it's changing you. You can't have pins in your body. You can't be depressed. You're really listening the word of God is penetrating your spirit. And it's causing the changes that you need. I love it. It says, are being transformed into the same image. Now, the beauty of this is with transformation, it's a process. Transformation is a process. So the more you look on him, the more you are healed. The more you look on him, the more you are turned. The more you look on him, the more you resemble what he talks about. That's why I said the word of God will make you what it talks about. Say, the word of God makes me what it talks about.
