Hey there, I'm Tracy. This is real life, real faith, real God. You're in the right place to get real, real about life. Real about your faith and real with God. This is your moment to pause. Take a deep breath and stop pretending everything's fine if it isn't, because God can handle your truth. He's not looking for perfect.

He's looking for present. So whether you're feeling strong in your faith. Or struggling to hold on. You're not alone. Let's meet with him just as we are right here, right now.

Hey everybody. Welcome back to real life, real faith, real God. I've been sitting here with Ephesians chapter two, and wow, I recognize something very powerful. If we really understood who we are in Christ, our heavenly identity, it would change everything. Paul starts his letter to the Ephesians by addressing the faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

Hmm, that's you and me. And right away he reminds us of our identity. That we are love, that we are chosen, that in Christ, God sees us as holy and without fault. Wait, did you catch that? Because of Christ, he doesn't see our faults. So let me ask you, if God doesn't, why do we keep holding onto them? It even gets better.

Paul says that we've been adopted into God's family. That makes us sons and daughters of the king, and God is our father. And then Paul reminds us of God's character. He is rich in kindness and grace, and because we are united with Christ, we've received an inheritance. He chose us and he makes everything work out according to his plan.

God has a purpose for this world, and it flows through us receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You know, salvation is a gift. You can't earn it. You just receive it. But here's the thing, the enemy doesn't want us to live in that truth, so he plays the same old game, pulling us back into our past, throwing mistakes in our face, and trying to convince us that we're still.

The same, but why does he do that? Because he knows how powerful we are in Christ, and he'll do anything to make us forget it. The next time the enemy brings up your past. Remind him, I don't live there anymore. Who I was back then is not who I am today. I have a new identity in Christ. Maybe you've never made that decision to begin a new life in Christ.

Something in you desires to grow in your faith. You want to know him. It's simple. Romans nine through 10 says, if you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. So if that's you, let's pray together right now. Lord, today I make a decision to follow Jesus Christ.

I declare that Jesus is Lord. I believe you raise him from the dead. I repent from living life my own way, and today I'll surrender to your plan. Thank you for choosing me, adopting me, and making me new. I invite you into my heart to be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, amen. If you just prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God.

I wanna encourage you to start reading your Bible. Download the YouVersion Bible app and find a reading plan to help you grow in your faith. And remember this. Everything changes when we accept Jesus Christ. You are no longer who you were. You are a child of God. This has been real life, real faith, real God.

Until next time, keep walking in your true identity. Thanks for taking a few moments to meet with God today. I pray this moment reminded you that you're not alone, you're not forgotten, and you don't have to carry it all. Whatever real looks like for you right now, there is a real faith and a real God walking with you in it.

Until next time, keep showing up. Keep being honest. And keep trusting the one who never, lets go.
