Welcome to Around the Bases, a pop culture and sports podcast with your host, charlie Seymour, and I'm Tim Sternberg. Hit it, nick. We are back. Welcome back to another awesome week here on around the bases. You're a pop culture and sports podcast.
Speaker 2:How you doing charlie, I'm doing pretty good, but probably not as good as you why would I be doing?
Speaker 1:all right, I'm okay. You know you got a fancy new hat there. I wonder why you're wearing that fancy new hat because you know it's how many days until pitchers and catchers report.
Speaker 2:We're right around. The Cubs are like two days, three days.
Speaker 1:Let's go. Yeah. Cubs are the first team you know respect that reports a spring training. I saw there was like a diagram that showed when the teams report and the Cubs are like two days early or something.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, when they have two regular season games, like two weeks before everybody else, that's why yeah.
Speaker 1:So for those who might not know, I mean I'm sure our audience knows, but the Cubs are playing their first games of the season against the Dodgers in. Tokyo. Yeah, yeah, so pretty cool. Charlie is going. He has this past.
Speaker 2:No, no is going, he has his passport. No, no, just kidding. Those were very, very hard to get. Hard sought after tickets.
Speaker 1:People are still complaining in the cub season ticket group. So really, yeah, I'm sure that's a whole podcast in itself. Um, yeah, I'm, I'm excited. I you know, maybe yesterday we signed a certain player that I was hoping that we would sign throughout the soft season?
Speaker 2:Is it the guy that you posted everything of his for sale? Is it that guy Shut?
Speaker 1:up. I didn't do that.
Speaker 2:Oh, I'm such a troublemaker.
Speaker 1:Wow, bro, wow. Why are you doing that? Why are you doing that? Did you not? Why did you, did you not?
Speaker 2:I did not. You posted a picture of all of it saying I sent it to you.
Speaker 1:Wait, wait. I sent it to you and I said if he, if he, doesn't resign, there's stuff that's gonna be up for sale. Posted it on your story.
Speaker 2:No I didn't be up for sale, posted it on your story.
Speaker 1:No, I didn't say it for sale, though. I said he has to come back.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's true, but you alluded that it could be soon, damn.
Speaker 1:You're like an elephant. Uh, just Charlie never forgets anything. Wow, but yeah, I did.
Speaker 2:The long story short. You got Pete.
Speaker 1:Very long story, don't have to worry no, pete alonzo re-signing with the new york mets on a two-year kind of one-year deal, one year with opt out, one year uh, 30 million dollars is a 10 million dollar signing bonus. That's involved. Um, listen, I don't think at the end of the day the mets kind of got what they want fully. Pete didn't get what he wants fully. I think it was a compromise. Yeah, and listen, you know what I'm not upset.
Speaker 1:You know people I was watching, you know New York Sports Radio and stuff. You know most of the reaction is very positive. Mets fans want Pete back. But you know the thought was well, you know it's only a one-year deal. You know mean, let's, let's put it this way, it was never going to be a long-term deal. After the way the negotiations have gone and honestly, on a one year deal, it's a win-win situation. It's a win for the mets because if pete has another kind of down year, then listen, they only signed him for one year. That flad guerrero jr from the blue jays out as a free agent next year, they could kind of pivot maybe, If he has two down of a year though, he might opt in in that scenario.
Speaker 1:Correct. But they still have Vlad. They could still use him as a DH and still sign him. Then they only have him for one more year.
Speaker 2:Right, two years at the most, so it's a great upside.
Speaker 1:Exactly.
Speaker 2:Pete can have a career year, go back to the market.
Speaker 1:This is where I was going to go. Yeah, exactly what you're saying. Listen and you know what. Again, that's a win for the Mets too, because if Pete has a banner year we just signed Juan Soto Pray everybody stays healthy. This Mets team could have a freaking year.
Speaker 2:And I still think they're going to have a freaking year If Pete has like a 2019 Pete season with Soto and with Lindor and with Nemo and with Vientos. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:And that's the thing. Depth, like this team's depth, like so, if you, you, we know who's at the high end right, you know, lindor.
Speaker 2:We know who's at the high end, right, you know, lindor, neymar Alonso. Yeah, you have five or six guys that will be in the lineup daily, and then you have like another six or seven to play the other three, four spots. That's what's nice.
Speaker 1:You have Winker, nick Madrigal, you have, I mean you could throw Acuna.
Speaker 2:Mauricio Beatty. I mean, I might.
Speaker 1:Siri.
Speaker 2:McNeil, siri Beatty. I mean I might Neal Siri like yeah, not to mention Alvarez could have 20 plus homers for a catcher. I mean man.
Speaker 1:Well, you know and that's the thing people forget about Francisco Alvarez. But Francisco Alvarez raked In the minors like raked. He Is fully capable of hitting those home Runs. He can be a power Hitter if he puts his mind to it. Alonzo, although catchers it's harder for catchers to hit, I know, and let's not forget the back end of the bullpen.
Speaker 2:You got Edwin Diaz and then with some additions like Minter and Stanek I mean they've got some depth out there too, wow. He knows what he's doing.
Speaker 1:He does, I'm kidding.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he does. He's got to be pretty happy with the offseason.
Speaker 1:Baby diapers yeah.
Speaker 2:They're for now being retired.
Speaker 1:They're clean the.
Speaker 2:Mets start the season 0-1 or 1-2.
Speaker 1:We'll have to check back in. You remember last year, woo, and one or one and two. Oh, check back in. You remember last year, woo? We're going to be sitting here.
Speaker 2:Uh, early April podcast Mets are going to be like two and four and I'm going to have to have the same conversation with Tim. It's 162 games. Take a breath.
Speaker 1:So let's shift the spotlight. Kyle Tucker Ooh Cubs are going to have a year or two.
Speaker 2:Yeah, to spotlight kyle tucker cubs are gonna have a year or two. Yeah, they've made some. They've made a couple more moves since and rumors are heating up on bregman.
Speaker 1:It could be a real interesting I, you know, interesting now that the mets are kind of settled with alonzo, mets are not in the bregman mix. So we have vientos and we have, we're done. Um, I, that would be interesting to me. That would be. I I am praying and hoping. I think the cubs would be a perfect spot, although I'm hearing tigers too, possibly as a landing spot for bregman the last couple days.
Speaker 2:The rumors seem to be he doesn't really have as much interest in detroit and toronto which then would leave cubs, houston, red Sox, boston has been picking up trade rumors with St Louis for Arenado, so that would leave the Cubs and the Astros, and apparently the Astros have upped their offer slightly but they still themselves feel it's a long shot he returns. So at this point it seems like Boris is just playing chicken with the Cubs, like he's done the last couple off-seasons.
Speaker 1:Now that he's unloaded Alonzo, he can kind of pivot to Bregman.
Speaker 2:Pretty much Bregman's the last big, big, big name out there. There's still some other pretty good agents out there, but Bregman's probably the crown jewel of what's left.
Speaker 1:I mean, there's no city like Chicago. I'll say that. I want to say that to preface what I'm about to say. Because I say that I want to say that to preface what I'm about to say because I'm not comparing the two at all, but market wise, houston and chicago are pretty comparable markets for baseball, I think, and and I think it would be a pretty smooth transition for alex alex bregman to go.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's not like he's coming from a marlin situation where there's no fans and everything dude let me just say let me say something real quick about that and then we'll go back to the cubs real quick. But the marlins released their fan fest schedule. I think the fan fest is this weekend and they have no no, no, absolutely not they.
Speaker 1:There's no delin. This is what I wanted to say, though. There's no delineation of events, it's just like, uh, we're gonna just kind of hang out here this time. I'm like I responded, the Marlins have to up their game in fan experience. The fan experience when you have a team that sucks.
Speaker 1:The fan experience is what gets people to the ballpark. You want to draw people in, and what I mean by fan experience? I mean trivia during innings, I mean getting people out and blowing t-shirts in a t-shirt gun and doing a mound ball right, what you guys have in Chicago. But that's all part of the fan experience. And, for whatever reason and I've given the Marlins so many chances their food is excellent. The food at the park is excellent not as good as chicago or new york, I'll say that but the fan experience boring and sucks, like they maybe have one like you know, like that. You know, I think every park does this where they have like the ball under the cup and you have to kind of guess on the jumbotron where the ball is and stuff like that. But beyond that, the fan experience is awful.
Speaker 1:I'm sorry to get on a tangent, but no, that's all right, look, the rays are having their fan fest on the 15th at at st pete pier, because obviously they can't do it at tropicana field and and and they they're doing fishing charter thing going on. There's like a whole bunch of events that they're doing that are very fan interactive. And then, listen, you want to talk about comparable markets. Tampa Bay and Miami are very comparable markets. I mean the attendance is kind of bad at both. I mean Tampa Bay Rays have struggled with attendance also with the Marlins, but the thing with the Tampa Bay Rays is they never forget was their number one and that's the fans. They never forget that. So Miami has a lot to learn. But Chicago, there's no like when I went to Wrigley with you this summer, last summer. There's nothing beating that experience at Wrigley. Even you guys outshined the Mets in that department in my opinion.
Speaker 2:The experience at Wrigley. They've done a lot better with it since the new ownership took over yeah, it wasn't nearly as good before I love that.
Speaker 1:Call me corny, right, I love that stuff. You know, going back to you guys with harry carey and doing the song and the whole it. It's just there's something about that experience. As much as I hate the phillies, the phillies are also very good with the fan experience. You know, even atl Atlanta, I mean, it wasn't as good, but Atlanta had a nice fan experience also. I don't know, I just think the Marlins need to kind of pick it up, but I'm really excited about what Chicago has in store. I I think the other teams in the NL central need to kind of open their eyes a little bit and, and you know, I think they're going to get the rumors to run for their money for a change, which is nice.
Speaker 2:Um, the rumors need to run for their money, um, but yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm feeling pretty good yeah, and then the other team that's in that I that I like that's in your area the rays speaking of, they had a few of their uh promotions pop out today. I don't know?
Speaker 1:Oh, they did. I don't even know, yet you have to tell me.
Speaker 2:They have a few. They have some interesting ones, but the ones obviously you know that I'm a little lenient towards, we'll say, or lean towards, bobbleheads. Bobbleheads, they have a Junior Common Arrow one. So three of them are Steinbrenner uh field bobblehead series. So I think they like connect like that by base. So those are junior common, wait, wait wait, wait, wait.
Speaker 2:The bobbleheads, the bases connect to each other yes, so you get them at different times and it's like they turn into a longer one. They've done. They've had some of those in past seasons as well, but this one, I might have to go to Tampa. Yeah, so this one has. Those ones are junior common arrow. They're number one prospect in baseball. Shane Boz, okay, and they have Todd's Bradley. And then they also have a city connect bobblehead for Josh Lowe later in the season as well.
Speaker 1:Oh, I love Josh Lowe.
Speaker 2:There's also a football jersey, they've got sunglasses, they've got a McClanahan player pin, they've got a cooling towel and some magnet schedules like the opening weekend, like they usually do.
Speaker 1:They're going to need that cooling towel out in the hot sun at Steinbrenner Field. Yeah.
Speaker 2:That one's June 8th, so probably when it gets pretty hot there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, when does it really warm up?
Speaker 2:in Tampa area.
Speaker 1:Like May June, may June.
Speaker 2:May.
Speaker 1:June, july and August. I will say June isn't that bad. I mean it's listen, you're asking a Floridian who's been living here since 1991, but I mean June is it gets hot. It's hot but it's not. You know, for me scorching hot is like August, like late July. August is like that's when I won't go like to Epcot or, you know, Disney World and stuff because it's too hot. But you know, you alleviate that by, you know, by going in shade. You don't stay out in the sun the whole game. You kind of move around. I don't know how it's going to be at Steinbrenner Field, tropicana Field. It was domed so it didn't have that issue, but not currently domed. But yeah, wow, are you planning a trip?
Speaker 1:I don't know, I would love'm just you know, I would love that, you know, I would love that keep an eye out for those dates that could work out whatever date you choose, I'm 100 gonna be there, unless I'm on some game show or something.
Speaker 2:But which tends to happen with us. I don't know. There you go you might not want to say the date out loud or I do that take one for the team and then you're on another game show no, for those who don't know, I I originally planned to go to chicago last year in june and uh, that's when trivial pursuit takes.
Speaker 1:It's so funny, oh man, uh, but yeah, uh. So yeah, we started with baseball. I want to, you know, alleviate our audience. We are going to get into other stuff, but you know, I the pino lonzo news, I kind of going to get into other stuff, but the Pete Alonzo news, I kind of had to jump into it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we had to lead off first base with Alonzo.
Speaker 1:And just real quick, a sports little tidbit. And it's not just a tidbit, but Josh Allen won MVP today.
Speaker 2:Congratulations to Josh Allen, the quarterback of the Buffalo Bills and a pretty noteworthy win because he's the first player in 21 years to win mvp without being named first team all pro which went to lamar. So usually that award is is a predecessor to the second one, um, but they gave it to alan. Honestly, I think it's more of a alan that didn't have one yet. They've had a lot of close battles so they kind of gave it to him this time. But that's pretty cool that the first time that's happened in 21 seasons.
Speaker 1:That's awesome. Did you watch his acceptance speech? It was unbelievable.
Speaker 2:I saw clips of it yeah.
Speaker 1:So he, of course. You know Josh Allen's all about team. He thanks his teammates and you know it's not an individual. Even if it's not a individual, even it's mvb, it's not an individual award. What got me and I started kind of getting teary-eyed is he thanks his parents and his dad and mom are like bawling in the audience and I'm like, wow, because he talked about, you know, growing up as a kid and and going to um, what's that thing they do at the football for kids. I forget what fun passing kick competition.
Speaker 2:No it kids.
Speaker 1:I forget what it's called Fun Pass and Kick competition. No, it's like it's an organization Like it's like mine, it's like Little League, but for football. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But he mentioned that Pop Warner. He mentioned Pop Warner and he just mentioned, you know, all that times you wasted your time going and taking me and his parents. They focused the camera to the parents, dad, mom. You know, and that's what it's about, you know, I, honestly, at the end of the day, I mean we, I mean, with everything going on in the world, it's that human connection, right, that we are human beings and and you know, that's what it's about, um, just and a real. We do before our next broadcast, the super bowl is happening this weekend, which I already told you. Baby Diapers is not watching, but Fly Eagles, fly my buddy.
Speaker 2:AJ, how will you watch it for the commercials?
Speaker 1:No, I don't want to give them ratings.
Speaker 2:They're going to get them, no matter what.
Speaker 1:Might as well see all the new commercials. I just don't like everybody in the audience, that's all.
Speaker 2:Alright, never mind, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:We won't get into anything else with that. But, yeah, superbowl this weekend. And uh, yeah, go, philly, go. That's the only time you'll ever hear this mets fan say it. But go philadelphia. Uh, fly eagles, fly. And um, I don't care if, I don't care if patrick mahomes is a met fan, I don't care if his dad was a met spitzer, I don't care. All right, that is first base. Um, we're gonna round to second base and uh, I consider this episode a clear winner today.
Speaker 1:The traders oh my god, where do we begin with the traitors, bro? Well, I guess we begin with the murder. I was shocked, honestly, because in the turret, you know the show episode starts. We're back in a turret with, uh, danielle, rob and um, uh, uh, carolyn, uh and uh, they're kind of going back and forth at it and Rob starts controlling the narrative again. He's like I want Derek out and Danielle's like no, I'm friends and Danielle does have.
Speaker 1:I've said this on this podcast before. They have a Big Brother podcast that Derek and Cody host and Danielle's been on it so much and they're friends in real life and and so she has these real doesn't want to kind of do that and um, she says, no, I don't want Derek and, and they cut away and, you know, fast forward. They haven't decided anybody, they didn't even go through the whole. We're signing our names. And that gets me to a question to answer later what happens if they don't choose someone to murder? Um? So anyway, they fast forward to breakfast and then, of course, the groups start coming in, and the last group to come in are the two that they were. Again, if you ever get on the traders, you have to pay attention to this. The last group is boston. Rob comes in first, followed by um dylan, dylan, afron and derrick is nowhere to be found. They murder derrick from big brother and, honestly, as big of a big brother fan I am, that was the move.
Speaker 2:I didn't see another move I mean, that was really his only avenue really.
Speaker 1:And so then rob goes, continues, it begins to go on as a really horrible acting. They're trying to frame I can't do his accent, that boston rob, but they're trying to frame me, you know. He says, oh, they're trying to frame me, you know, uh, of course they're gonna vote out the guy I would have assumed to be, and no one is.
Speaker 2:It was a good sales pitch. Why would I kill Derek? You're only going to think it's me. It doesn't help me at all. And it seemed like a couple people bought it. But even had the two other traders, danielle and Carolyn, not flipped, it still would have been five to four and he was going home either way. So I think at that point you know he realizes it is what it is yeah, what's um?
Speaker 1:danielle does end up flipping and she's like but she says a preface which I think was smart are we good if I, if I give up, derrick are? Are we gonna start over and start fresh? And they both say yes. But you know, carolyn is doesn't forget anything and she's holding her grudge and not necessarily forgetting, but that's besides yeah, it's pretty, uh, it's pretty fractured between the three of them for the last couple weeks. So yeah, uh, fast forward to the challenge. Hey, uh, charlie, did you watch the challenge?
Speaker 2:I watched it, I would not have participated with your face, with your face actually I will say it's probably the first time I've said it on here I would definitely team Chris shell in this instance. I would have pulled my hand back immediately and said no, thank you.
Speaker 1:So for our viewers cause I'll explain.
Speaker 2:So you don't have to get the creepy creepy, go right ahead. Go sit back here and relax for a few.
Speaker 1:They're holding their hands in a box and Charlie is literally relaxing in the back. They're holding the hands in a box and charlie is literally relaxing in the back. Uh, they're holding the hands in the box and the object of the game is not to let go. If they let go, they're out and the other team wins. So as they're holding their hands in the box, alan's people start to put creepy crawlies into the box and they start a new present delivered. My wife Erica is off screen right now. Going stop it, stop it.
Speaker 2:She also was Team Chrishell. Yes, yeah, that's a smart way to go.
Speaker 1:So the first creature they put in are millipedes Nice black, long millipedes Don't throw anything at me, Erica. She's like getting ready to throw the remote at me. Don't do that, please. Violence is never an answer. And then there are other creepy crawlies. I won't get too much into it. There are maggots, there are worms and there are things that are dropped from above and chris shell team for shell gets like no, I'm out, that's it I'm not doing this, make it to that.
Speaker 2:Didn't even make it.
Speaker 1:She's like no, it was gone in under eight, like eight seconds, something like that so then, alan turns to the other team, which is rob, and who was the other thing sierra sierra, and he says he says that, um, if you can wait it lasts like four minutes because I want to get good TV Then we're going to.
Speaker 2:you know, you'll, we'll add this money to the pot. Whole eight minutes Don't sound short.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all right, eight minutes, sorry. So throughout the challenge, you know they're holding hands, holding hands, and they're, they're, and they put big giant boa constrictors on their backs and other stuff. I think there were Madagascar hissing cockroaches, scorpions, scorpions All the fun stuff, all the stuff that you want at a party.
Speaker 2:I gotta say I thought Rob was really good in that challenge with helping Sierra get through it.
Speaker 1:He was I mean, he played it smart and he was actually. I think he was truly being kind, but at the same, time and ulterior motive, it earned him her vote.
Speaker 2:If the traders wouldn't have flipped and he would have just got one more, he would have survived, yep. A lot of ifs, but still.
Speaker 1:Lots and lots of ifs, and we're going to talk about the roundtable in a minute. Basically, everyone lasts, I mean, except for Team Frischel. Everybody lasts through the challenge. I think the strongest team during the challenge was Danielle and Brittany from Big Brother. I mean they really didn't panic, weren't? Of course it's the editing too, so they're all tied. They all got like money and added it to the pot. So then they tiebreaker was within the bugs in the box. It's a mound of bugs. There was rings that were put in there and they had to find a ring, and the first team to find a ring in each pair of teams would get um immunity, a shield from the murder. They couldn't be, murdered.
Speaker 1:They couldn't be murdered. So I know it was Carolyn and Gabby, right versus Danielle and Brittany. Danielle and Brittany find a ring. There was Tom, and that was an interesting pairing, Tom.
Speaker 2:Lord.
Speaker 1:Lord, lord Vonton, or whatever his name is, ivan, and they were a team. And dylan. So anyway, it ends up that dylan is not safe. Um, uh, tom is not safe.
Speaker 2:Uh, I forget who else is not yeah, the carolyn right, of course, carolyn is a traitor and dolores so they.
Speaker 1:So carolyn can't be murdered, right, and we're going to talk about what happens. It's really only because it's the end of the episode, so it's really only five. Um, so, anyway, the next thing is the round table. And oh so, the two targets in the round table and you could tell from the beginning of the episode editing are Brittany and Boston Rob with Tom. I don't know, tom is just never not going to get a vote from the ladies at least this time.
Speaker 2:Chrishell said she really didn't think either of them were, so she had to vote for someone else there were several people threw away their votes.
Speaker 1:Dylan threw away his vote um because he wouldn't I want to touch on dylan really quick.
Speaker 2:He started off the round table speaking first he did what he said he wasn't going to do earlier in the episode in like a confessional shot. He said he was only going to say that Derek called out Brittany and he kept the rest of it to himself the whole time. But then at the round table he says the first thing he says is Derek says it was either Rob or Brittany. My question is had Dylan not originally thrown out Rob again? There would maybe one or two people that weren't so sure maybe not have flipped that's a good question.
Speaker 1:I was thinking that too, but I think it was the honorable thing for him to do. I mean, you want to. I mean it was also honoring derrick's what derrick said, because he kind of wanted all out there. I'm glad he did that because I didn't want to see britney banished. Honestly. Um, I I think rob was. I mean, we'll get to who gets banished, but I I think it was a smart move. I could tell you this, though, one thing I was thinking throughout this whole banishment ceremony danielle, you better vote rob, danielle, you better vote rob. If you do not vote rob, it looks really dumb and she's been playing a dumb game. I know she's my girl, I like danielle very much, but my god, if you put britney's name down, what the hell? And I was worried about that when she, when she turned over her clacker and then said rob, I was like of course they went to commercial before she did that yeah, and she turned it over upside down yes, she did.
Speaker 1:You are the weakest link. Goodbye. Okay, not that that's another show, but so the votes kind of come in and a couple of votes for Britney, but overall it's Rob, rob, rob, rob.
Speaker 2:And Austin.
Speaker 1:Rob, he sings his last tune. I mean, if you're sitting there and you don't know what you know, but I would vote for Rob, I mean yeah. I mean, I would have assumed anyway that one rejoiced.
Speaker 2:They finally listened to him.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I love this. So there's, for those who might not know, there's a bunch of memes out there with Tom like um. There, with Tom like um, this is Tom making decisions on the traders and, and you know, for once he actually looks smart. But he doesn't always look smart, um, I mean, I, I would, I would, I would preface it to say it was probably the duh move. Of course you're gonna get rid of Boston Rob at this point, but let him get, take his credit, let, let, let let Tom uh, get his, his, his flowers, or whatever you want to call it, and that's fine, but boston rob is gone. We're down to two traitors. We're down to the two women who don't like each other, danielle and carolyn. It should be interesting also rob.
Speaker 2:Rob may have, without realizing it, given a little parting gift to danielle and carolyn. I don't know if you caught this, but earlier in the episode he mentioned out loud in a conversation with like four or five people in like the library room. He said out loud he thinks there's only two traders left. If people retain that and then Rob got out, they'll think well, rob knew there were only two left, rob plus one other, so they might only get one of the remaining one left, which whoever's left could be the last one standing. They might think they've caught all the traitors.
Speaker 1:So let me ask you a question. That's a good point and I definitely think we should watch for that. But to that point I think a recruitment's coming. Usually when they get down to two, they recruit somebody.
Speaker 2:It could be this yeah, after the, so now Rob's down to 11, then they murder someone in person cuts it down to 10. At that point, instead of maybe after round table, nine, instead of murdering, they have the option to.
Speaker 1:So I'm going to turn a question to you. I kind of have my guess in my head. If you're one of the two traders, who are you recruiting?
Speaker 2:Ooh, yeah, that's tough.
Speaker 1:I already have an answer.
Speaker 2:You do or don't. Okay, I would probably recruit someone who's been completely under the radar and I'd probably there's probably two that come to mind man, maybe three. I think tom is a weird wild card. Everybody's so sure he's a faithful.
Speaker 1:Now he is getting some votes, but he's just too wacky, him and carolyn together but let's the two people that have voted for him.
Speaker 2:If they don't make it to the next one, there's really not that many people that would vote for him.
Speaker 1:I get, except for the delores wild card.
Speaker 2:She's kind of like you forget she's even there. And also, weirdly, I think sam could be an interesting one because he's so weird, that kind of like carolyn, where she's going unnoticed, I don't know. Those are three that come to my mind. Who do you think?
Speaker 1:None of those, believe it or not, the one that I would. I would absolutely recruit Dylan.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:Dylan. I would recruit Dylan because I think Dylan is smart enough to figure it out and you kind of want that on your side. So that if he's not murdered for sure you know, and it's kind of Dylan I've said this before, but Dylan and there was actually a I don't know if Peacock listens to our podcast, but they actually did a video of this. Dylan reminds me of Peter Weber from last season.
Speaker 1:And so there was a. There was a tick, tock or something that Peacock put out this week. That has Dylan in a chair and Peter Weber in a chair and they're looking at each other. It's the funniest thing and I'm like that's funny. Wait, are they listening to around the bases what's happening here?
Speaker 2:um, but remember, they tried to recruit Peter last season and he turned it down and then he turned it down.
Speaker 1:I don't think Dylan would turn it down.
Speaker 2:I don't think he would no yeah, why would you want to go home at that point, right?
Speaker 1:So that's why I love the show for a number of reasons, but it's so many layers that it's good.
Speaker 2:Good TV, appointment TV.
Speaker 1:Yes, and so, speaking of appointment TV, we end in a cliffhanger. So let me set it up real quick. There is a live murder that's going to happen at the beginning of the episode. They're in a church, of course, and there's red draped all over the place who do you think's getting murdered?
Speaker 2:uh, I think tom it could have been tom.
Speaker 1:They did kind of tease that did you see tom's face when he turned around, when he lifted his head?
Speaker 2:Yeah, Was that an oversell though?
Speaker 1:Maybe they like to throw those play actions. So what? Here's what I think happens. So you know, obviously the ones that survive are not going to see Danielle and Carolyn. I think what happens is the one that gets murdered we'll see Danielle and Carolyn, but the ones that don't get murdered, alan's going to be there saying you're safe and you can go back.
Speaker 2:There's going to be somebody there regardless.
Speaker 1:I think so, yeah, I think you're right about that.
Speaker 1:It doesn't make sense any other way. It has to be either Alan or, and so I think I don't know, I think it's going to be one of the dudes. I think it's going to be either tom or dylan. Um, I, I don't think the the other, I don't think the others are much of a threat. I don't think people are thinking they're traitors. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know um should be interesting, so they basically they're in a church and they turn around and whoever sees the traitors are going to be murdered, and that that you don't even have to get me to watch the show, but that that's a great start to next week's episode. Yeah, um, none of the none of the none of the scenes from next week. It was all alan talking, because I guess they would give away who was murdered because, right, I think they try hard to not give it away.
Speaker 1:They did a good job they did a good job, uh, so that's.
Speaker 2:That's the traders next week appointment tv, which also more Appointment TV.
Speaker 1:Go for it, these games.
Speaker 2:We're down to six people.
Speaker 1:So I'm going to say this again. I've said this before on this podcast this is a social experiment on the nastiness of people. Sometimes I will say, um, there are certain people on that cast, or they were on that cast and no longer on that cast, that I just don't root for. I don't want to root for them.
Speaker 2:Yeah, now, jc, I think most of the six that I would say at least five that I wanted to get through, got through a hundred percent yeah.
Speaker 1:Except for that.
Speaker 2:Pretty. We were pretty sure the two who kind of screwed everyone over were going we're not going to get through. And they didn't.
Speaker 1:No, liar dude, I didn't going to get through and they didn't. No, liar dude, I didn't want to get through, he got through. I don't even know his name, but you know who I'm talking about. The one who lied, um gauge, yeah, you're better with names than I am. Um, so who's? I'm sorry to our audience in advance because I do not. I just watch the show. I don't kind of remember who. Who's neck tattoo dude? Michael, maybe? All right, let's say for argument's sake, it's Michael. We'll just call him Michael for this. It's neck tattoo dude, I don't want to say neck tattoo dude, he.
Speaker 2:No, keep going.
Speaker 1:No, I was just going to say he was throughout the episode asking people for money and they'll get his vote so in one vote. So there's so, just for our audience, who may not have watched the episode, there are six votes. That happens. The first vote is an hour, so they have an hour to decide who's going to go to the finals, and each vote is 10 minutes shorter, so the second vote is 50 minutes. Third vote is 10 minutes shorter, so the second vote is 50 minutes. Third vote is 40 minutes and they're allowed to call each other that is michael, by the way, michael okay, michael robert house there we go.
Speaker 1:Three names um. They're allowed to use their um, their money, to bribe other players. Of course, we have one player that doesn't have any money, um, and so michael robert house spent many around calling people and saying, if you give me x amount of money, I'll I'll vote for you. That's okay. It's within the rules. The only problem is also within the rules. On multiple occasions during one vote he called multiple people to get money from multiple people to he knew he was out.
Speaker 1:He was just trying to stack his money dude, I know it's a game, I know it's just a game show, it's just a reality show. But there are some lines that are just icky when you cross them icky, icky, icky, icky. And I understand it was within the rules that you could lie, but really, when someone only has seven thousand dollars or whatever it is, you're taking all that money to get their vote and, mind you, they're all grown adults and they're making the decision to give it up. But you feel good with that. You were able to sleep at the end of the day. I don't know if I could, man.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I don't know. That's why I was super happy Courtney got through. Yeah, me too.
Speaker 1:But at the end of the day, bro, like what, like I just don't know if I could consciously be okay with that, and so that's what's interesting to me is how people are able. I understand Listen, I would have taken a hundred grand from my family if I was the first person. Without a doubt, I understand those decisions. What I don't understand is when you know that you're in a place of power and then you take advantage of those who aren't. It's just, it's kind of raw for me, I don't know how else to put it, you know, and it doesn't sit well. Doesn't sit well now, mind you, you know I hopefully, if I ever have the wonderful chance of getting on a reality show, I'm probably going to make some questionable decisions. I think every player has to, but not to the point where you're sacrificing who you are integrity I don't know, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1:Like I just have to live with myself and I don't know if I want that the money comes and goes. But that that listen. I can pull up my episode from 2001 when I was on who wants to be a millionaire? That doesn't go away, it's going to be in the universe forever. Once you're on a show, we'll see. We'll see charlie talking about bill Bill Murray for the rest of our lives on video it's never going away.
Speaker 1:It's just you know that you have to think about that is like you know, one day maybe it sits in the Library of Congress as a video that's part of American pop culture. You can't get away from it. I don't know. That matters to me, it matters to me. So, yeah, I I love Beast Games. I think Mr Beast is incredibly talented. I his own videos that we talked about last week, you know, with our awesome Erica who ended up winning over $400,000, his videos are. There's no surprise why he has so many YouTube viewers, why his audience is so huge. He's talented. He comes up with these really interesting, ingenious um, uh, you know activities on video for money and I absolutely believe one million percent that beast games will be back for season two.
Speaker 1:I have absolutely, no doubt yeah, um, as a matter of fact. So, speaking of Beast Games at the end of the episode with the final six, wow, they have to do something and I want to get your opinion on this?
Speaker 2:Another twist, big twist.
Speaker 1:So he goes all this episode. I've been talking about this $5 million cash prize, $5 million.
Speaker 2:Which would be a record.
Speaker 1:Record. So he goes, bring it in boys, they bring in another five million dollars. Here's the thing.
Speaker 2:If one of the catch.
Speaker 1:Here's a catch if one of the six there's a beast games coin, if one of the six agree with $5 million on it, if one of the six agrees to flip the coin, and they get what they land. You know, call heads or tails, and they get what they want. Mr Beast is going to add $5 million, for a total of $10 million to the top prize. However, wait, there's more. If you do not, if you say heads and it's tails, bye, bye, you are eliminated. Now, charlie, we're talking about integrity here. I'm sorry, I wouldn't do that. I would not self-sacrifice myself potentially.
Speaker 2:Four of the six are immediately against it.
Speaker 1:Dude, you're a one in five chance. I mean, mind you, I'll take these odds in Vegas any day, don't get me wrong, but you have a one in six chance, not a one in one. One in six chance to win $5 million. $5 million is $2.5 million after taxes approximately, if you take half away. Okay, I'm kind of being generous, Maybe round up we'll say $2.75, $2.8.
Speaker 1:$2.75, all right, but about that? Unless you're Richard Hatch and you don't do anything, Mm-mm. Richard Hatch, go to jail. So $2.75, $2.8 million after taxes. Dude, my life has changed. For the rest of my life I can invest, I can get a decent house and live comfortably, buy my baseball cards, sell my baseball cards, not to mention it's small change, but a few of them already have some money banked.
Speaker 1:Yeah, dude, honestly this talks a little bit about my financial situation, but a hundred thousand dollars is life-changing to me and a lot of other people like I can't yeah, I mean fifty thousand, ten thousand, you know, I mean I was, I could have won twenty thousand on trivial pursuit.
Speaker 1:That would have been life-changing in a way. I mean it's just, you know, it's all about how you use it and you know, whatever. Anyway, it's not. You're the math guy, you know I say this all the time. But is it worth the extra $5 million to flip a coin and potentially eliminate yourself?
Speaker 2:No, the four people who immediately go out are the real winners there, because, if you think about it, as soon as one person picks it, the other five have. Two scenarios happen. Either A, they're now doubling their prize pot Win-win, win-win.
Speaker 1:I was thinking that too.
Speaker 2:And if not, their chances to win the game go up by three and a half percent.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Dude, that's exactly right yeah, they go from 16.6, repeating to 20, so they get 3.3 and change boost a freaking win-win situation for everybody else, which is what I thought, I thought uh, uh, 830, who already has 90 g's in her pocket.
Speaker 1:She was kind of intimidating the other guy into playing, I think she did and yeah, and he felt it and he's like I'm gonna do it listen, you don't have to, but I could feel the power and the coin and she was like going through the whole thing here's. Here's the way I think they should have played it, which I mean I like the kind of the way it works, but this is the way I thought they would play it. One person will have a chance to flip the coin if you get it on your what you call it, your prize pot for you, if you win doubles to 10 million dollars, everyone else stays at 5 million or you go home.
Speaker 2:That makes more sense on this scenario, but like you said with the game people be more inclined to like reg it to someone who's not going to get five or 10.
Speaker 1:That's a problem with the rules and that's probably why they didn't do it that way. Yeah, but interesting, interesting. Um, so we have the beginning of the next episode, a coin flip happening, and either they're playing for $5 million or $10 million. Listen, as a viewer, at the end of the day it doesn't make a huge difference for me, but I mean.
Speaker 2:Hey, it sets precedent for future seasons, in case you get on later.
Speaker 1:Absolutely. Five of them are going home with nothing, although you know we talked about this. Five of them are going home with nothing. Although you know we talked about this, I would have been out the first episode because if you offer me like a share of a million dollars to drop, I'm going. See, I would have gotten like $19,000. Again, would have been very happy with that and not upset at all.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Because you a thousand players and whatever, but you know, wow.
Speaker 2:I just I wonder if any of the people that played in the minigame that erica won yeah, or any of the people that took the 19?
Speaker 1:I would have to. That's an interesting question probably not, but because it's all. It's all from that same day if you look at the minigame that erica played. By the way, they have a preview of this episode because they're calling each other trying to convince them. That's what they do in this, because they didn't do it before this episode. So that's interesting, little like tidbit right, um, ah, wow, it's good, it's a good show. I mean, I will say I, I, we were texting next week I.
Speaker 1:I like the earlier episodes with more people was a little more engaging for me. But yeah, it's good, it's, it's not bad and finale should be awesome. Yeah and yeah, we're gonna see a season two. Will I apply for season two?
Speaker 2:one million percent, yes and we're also nearing absolutely where they give away the money on the app yes, if you have not been entering money lion.
Speaker 1:Uh, oh, um. I have 46 entries so far you have 45, 45 yeah yeah, um, it's. Yeah. They're giving away a thousand thousand dollar winners. Right, is it a thousand?
Speaker 2:yeah, one thousand thousand dollar winners. I don't know, man I kind of like those odds I, I, that's a lot like those odds for for having.
Speaker 1:I mean, I, I think, as far as the number of entries go, we're pretty up there. I think, um, I don't think everyone's going to be consistent. Thank god for you, by the way you're the one that reminds me most of the time I.
Speaker 2:I randomly I clicked through a thread of one of the messages on there and a lot of people were like oh, I have 10. I have 14. And so I feel pretty good about our number Dude.
Speaker 1:I just want one of us to win. That would be amazing. I already told you I'm financing a trip to Chicago with Ed Grand.
Speaker 2:There's a lot, there's a lot of and there's a lot of bigger ones still as well.
Speaker 1:A million dollars.
Speaker 2:Four million total yeah.
Speaker 1:There's a million dollar prize you're giving away conveniently on my birthday.
Speaker 2:Just saying that'd be fun to win.
Speaker 1:November 28th, but you know what that means, though that's like the whole year of you telling me it's entry time.
Speaker 2:There we go, that's true. Will we still be able to do that for each day?
Speaker 1:until then wow yeah, that's gonna be a busy year. Listen, you know what I'll enter every day to win a million dollars, no problem, absolutely I mean exactly a couple clips of clicks of the phone and boom so, um, speaking of big prizes for game shows and we're up to a pretty decent prize on deal or no deal island yeah, up to five million, something in a dollar, right yeah, five, five, five something so interesting.
Speaker 1:The episode starts with our buddy from we are family philip talking with uh poverty, and I figured who else was there.
Speaker 2:David was in there yeah, and so he.
Speaker 1:I mean real wonderful moments. You know love philip, by the way. Philip is just a great dude. He's. What you see on tv is exactly who he is. Um he, he talks about?
Speaker 2:he's down. What are they down to like? Final eight or nine?
Speaker 1:he's making it I'm rooting for him. Go, philip Solomon, absolutely. Um, if Philip was on, we are family. Go represent a D block right in front of me in the on on the stage. Um, you know he, he is playing a great game. I kind of like his strategy of what he's doing. You know he opens up about being bullied as a kid, which I kind of connected with. I love that whole thing. But of course Parvati, who is a black widow from survivor, has to say after that whole moment, I don't think he's a very strategic player. I will not agree with that. Necessarily. I think Philip is playing Philip's game and I don't think I think he's playing a strategic game.
Speaker 2:And we said the same thing in the moment. But now, after having watched it, you know, a day or two ago, and then now thinking about it, I think they showed her saying that on purpose, because then when they play the game they both lie to each other together and then she gets kind of mad, even though she did the same thing. But I think that's because when she said that she genuinely didn't think he could do that, and then what he did, she's like okay, maybe you know, or shadowing gonna have to keep her eye on him a little closer so the game was there.
Speaker 1:They're both being levied up on this, on this, uh, hammock way about, I would have a problem with this, charlie, I, I'm telling you straight up.
Speaker 2:This one would be fine for me. I'd much rather do this one.
Speaker 1:I could do the bugs and scorpions.
Speaker 2:No way, I would do this one for sure You're harnessed in nice and safe, you're not going anywhere. No, you fall 20 feet, that's fine, you're harnessed in, I'll listen to you.
Speaker 1:Oh, my God, that one.
Speaker 2:I would much rather do than the disgusting all that other stuff.
Speaker 1:All right, that's good. So if you and I are ever on a reality show together, like the Amazing Race, and remind me I have to talk about that real brief because you know what I'm talking, about yeah, we'll hit that at the end. Hit that at the end. If you and I are ever on a reality show, like the Amazing Race, for example, I'll do the gross stuff and you do the height stuff.
Speaker 2:You, I'll do the gross stuff and you do the height stuff. If we have a Roblox or whatever, all right.
Speaker 1:Good Deal, all right. So call us Jesse Tannenbaum, you know, come on, no, so listen. So they're being levied. I forgot my train of thought. I'm old, all right, they're being levied up on these hammocks and they're different dollar amounts and they can be honest or not honest, and wherever one person drops, they both get that level's case, and whoever has the higher case is safe, whoever doesn't does not. And, of course, poverty gets the higher case and our buddy philip is in jeopardy of being eliminated. And at this point I'm like oh no, I don't like the way the editing is going. I hope Philip isn't going home. I was worried, I was worried, I was legit worried. No one's even mentioning his name, which I love. He's in a good spot.
Speaker 2:I think he's got at least another week or two to skate through, hopefully further.
Speaker 1:Look at what happened. Amy was annoying as hell and she made it to the end last year Now.
Speaker 2:they're starting to go after the family, though.
Speaker 1:And he's not in the family, though he's friendly with poverty, but he's not in the family.
Speaker 2:No, he's the son I thought.
Speaker 1:No, that was uh. What's his name?
Speaker 2:Dixon, oh, it's Dixon.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:No, I don't, I think.
Speaker 1:Philip is safely kind of. I think what Philip is doing is straddling the mind, the line.
Speaker 2:Yes, yeah, family adjacent.
Speaker 1:Which is smart?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Smart he's. He's that what they call him big brother. He's a floater, which is not a bad strategy, necessarily, until you get caught and people are like, oh wait, what are you doing? So the? You get caught, um. And people are like, oh wait, what are you doing? Um, so the will?
Speaker 1:I have to say this will goes against dixon and dixon gets the higher case and will does something that I don't think any other reality show would have allowed him to do he walks off in a temper tantrum and we literally do not see will at the end of the challenge. People are like where is will? And and? And joe is like he, he didn't like what happened, so he's not here. And I'm thinking how is that okay? Um, uh, so we don't see will again until we get back to the bungalows and will is, like now, campaigning because he wants to face the banker and open the cases.
Speaker 1:And one thing I've learned about Will over the years is you do not give Will what Will wants, because if you give Will what Will wants, he will railroad you, and the smarter move would have been someone stepping up and saying I'll face the banker and get rid of Will. That's the only way Will is going to go. Go and watch when that happens. Finally, we'll is going to have like some kind of immunity or something. Um, I, I want him to go.
Speaker 2:He's a nasty player Um yeah, I did not like that episode at all.
Speaker 1:There's one thing that really bothered me is uh, there is a 70 something thousand dollar offer at one point and he goes, I'll take it and hits the button. Apparently, apparently, the rules say that Joe has to say deal or no deal. So what is the purpose of the button? I don't know. Um you have to get it after he asks that's the purpose.
Speaker 2:Okay, terrible.
Speaker 1:So stupid, um, I kicked him off at that moment.
Speaker 2:they really should have.
Speaker 1:I mean baby diapers, diapers um, but so he of course gets. He's like oh, it wasn't official, so he goes through. He takes a hundred something thousand dollar offer, which, honestly, was the smart move. If you're there and you have four offers that are uh, you have four amounts that are um below, if your odds, your odds, right yeah, then that's the smart move right, and that's what I would do too, if I was in that situation, I don't care how much it is, yeah so he takes it decent, not amazing.
Speaker 1:He made a good deal we found his case as a thousand dollars act like a, like a butt.
Speaker 2:Again, he does that though he gave a speech about k ck being mean to him and this and that and blah, blah, blah at the very end, and that is why I am taking out MG, and then he walks away super fast like a baby again Baby diapers, he's the worst dude.
Speaker 1:Man.
Speaker 2:I'm glad I never saw him on Big Brother.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I still think you should watch bits and pieces of it because it's crazy. So there's a thing real quick. So he was on All Stars with Brittany and Danielle, who was on the Traitors. There's a thing real quick. So he was on All-Stars with Brittany and Danielle, who was on the Traitors, and he was terrorizing Brittany and Danielle on that season and Danielle. Finally, his best friend they're no longer friends, but on the show is Mike Boogie, who won. I don't know if you know Mike Boogie.
Speaker 2:Mike.
Speaker 1:Boogie ends up stalking him later on and they're not friends. He files a restraining order. It's a whole story. Will file a restraining order against him anyway. So on that season, mike boogie is close to will and they get mike boogie out and so in the dot, you know how they have at the end of big brother, I mean at the end of the episode where they show the diary room and what people are saying goodbyes britney from from traders gets on, and they had. So let me rewind the whole season. They had a whole thing going hello, hello and they were doing a fake will and mike boogie were doing a fake phone call going. We just got you out and this whole thing. And so britney and her goodbye message to mike boogie, she goes danielle, hello, guess what? Mike boogie is sitting out there right now. And it was, it was great I love it.
Speaker 1:Um, yeah, so irritating as hell. I I agree 100. Let me tell you, those early days of big brother have some of the most cringy contestants that and I love it, I love it. I've watched every season since season one. Love big brother. The first season, again, nothing like the rest, and sorry when I'm talking about big brother, we're not gonna see that until july, but you know, hey, speaking of before we go, you can mention amazing race, big brother connection yes, so they just announced reality tv fan shout out um, they just announced that season.
Speaker 1:So we're going. We're starting 37 of amazing, crazy 37. We're starting 37 of the amazing race. 38 is about to tape season 38 of the amazing race. The entire cast is going to be one big former big brother house guest playing with their family member loved one. We're gonna have a whole season of. I think that's awesome. I love that. Um, I think for sure you're gonna see taylor playing with a loved one I think, you're gonna see michael bruner, probably playing with a loved one.
Speaker 1:um, I could think of a number Rachel's already played. Some people have played Amazing Race already. But yeah, who won last season of Big Brother? Do you remember?
Speaker 2:I'm having an absolute mind blank right now Me too. Let me see.
Speaker 1:Hold on on, I'll tell you. Season 26 chelsea, chelsea, that's right, chelsea was good, um, chelsea probably will. I mean, I think, that kind of recency bias. We're going to see a lot of players from recent seasons. It's going to be interesting. I'd love to see Michael. You don't know who these people are, but Michael, who is Cowboy, and Nokomis on their season of Big Brother. The twist was they didn't know they were related, their brother and sister and so when Michael came on, the Comus was already there and they find out throughout the season that they're related. Evil Dick had a daughter that came in. It's, it's crazy season. They used to do some crazy stuff on big brother, um, so I, it's going to be interesting.
Speaker 2:Will there be any recent big brother people on there, do you think?
Speaker 1:I think chelsea, I think taylor hale, I think michael bruner. Um, michael michael didn't win big brother but I, I would say, is probably one of the better players in recent years, for sure, um, I think we're gonna see maybe some uh, some cookout people maybe. Maybe derrick. Um, maybe some challenge vets. I do know there were a number of people that were asked, but they were in contract with other shows, so I'm going to guess that those people maybe were Danielle and Brittany, who are in contract with Peacock right now. Peacock doesn't let release you, I think, until the end of the year. If you're on the traders, so maybe it should. It should be interesting. If you're on the traders, so maybe it should be interesting. Anything else you'd like to discuss?
Speaker 1:No I think we covered it. Oh yes, Real quick. Thank you for that, Erica. Wheel of Fortune is going to have auditions in Chicago this weekend, oh yeah, at the auto show I was talking about that't know if I'm going to be able to. I would love it for you to do that or at least get what about? What about our buddy, who's going to come on this podcast in a couple of weeks?
Speaker 2:I don't know if he would do that? Is that wheel of fortune I don't know if he's wheel of fortune all right, all right.
Speaker 1:Well to the chicagoland people. If you're friends with charlie and maybe you want to audition for a wheel of fortune this weekend at the auto show, they're gonna, they're gonna do a spot. So head on out there and you never know, your life could change or you can go on the show and win two thousand dollars like I did, absolutely, I think, um whichever episode aired today or yesterday, someone from the chicago area won like 40 000 or something.
Speaker 2:They said, wow, why couldn't I do?
Speaker 1:that I wish I could have done that, um, but yes, still a memorable experience.
Speaker 1:Obviously, I have a number of memorabilia behind my head up here, but yeah, if you have, I mean I will say this if you've never been on a game show, if you're okay with being in front of a camera, do it. Um, it is one of the most memorable things you'll ever do. I've it, um, it is one of the most memorable things you'll ever do. I've said this before, I'll say it again if you do go to the wheel of fortune audition this weekend um, it's not going to be that in depth, basically you're going to play a game on the stage and solve a puzzle, be excited, um, show some enthusiasm, show them why they want to call you to a city audition, which is basically you would call to a hotel later on and you know that's where you take a test and all that stuff. But this weekend it's just going to be kind of fun. Laid back, uh, experience. But definitely recommend very much if you are ever thinking about going on a game show wheel fortune is as iconic as you're going to get for our show.
Speaker 1:I'm a millionaire's on on right now and Jeopardy trying to get on, but that's a hard show to get on. So, yeah, there you go. This has been around the bases. The pop culture and sports podcast with your host and I am Tim Sternberg, and until next week, watch that Superbowl, fly, eagles, fly and let's go Mets and Cubs. Have a great week, everybody. Have a good one, thank you.
