For those of you who are not familiar with Funkatronic Rex, we are a friendly local game store located in Phoenix, AZ. However, we are quite unique.
We tend to be the goofy, gregarious, and non-grindy gaming geeks of the community.
With a humble staff of 4 friends, we love our customers dearly and many of them are like family to us. Our social interactions and goal of a warm "Cheers" style vibe has a direct effect on our niche community.
As with any community, we have an abundance of hilarious stories and insight.

All 4 Funk employees are back at it again! This is the last episode before Alex leaves us for Europe for a few weeks. Lucky punk!
- Hobby Highlights - Mike’s hobby struggle continues at the table as he tackles the construction of a robotic dinosaur. Micheal gets excited about drafting Star Wars Unlimited and hanging with a great community! Casner provides Court with some more commission work and it’s UNDEAD!

- What’s In The Case - Dr. Chris Pine is in the house…er…case! Mike’s insane or genius ideas are at work again. This time, it’s an Izzet Doctor who has unrequited love and fire. Court questions the Dungeons & Dragons actor’s credentials. A tangent ensues when Court declares his love for another awesome podcast, Lorehammer. He even calls out Mark from Lorehammer to appear as a guest.
- MAIN TOPIC: THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE US - We are so thankful to be where we are today with Funkatronic Rex but none of this would have happened without the influential people in our lives. These people encouraged us, supported us, and were instrumental in getting us into the hobbies we love and represent today. There’s truly not enough thank you’s in the world to express with these fine folks.
Also, Court can’t help but get emotional…of course.
