Well, we just had quite the convo. Yeah, that was wild Happy after 4th of July. Welcome back to the A-Llist podcast with Allison and Alex. I'm Allison, she's Allison.
Speaker 2:She's Alex.
Speaker 1:She's Alex. It is two days after the 4th of July.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we're trying something where we are recording the day before it comes out, so that everything is super fresh.
Speaker 1:Yes, it is a stressful thing.
Speaker 2:I think in theory, if we do this again, it needs to be earlier in the day.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I feel like when we were talking about it, I said I feel like our schedules have changed like every quarter since we've been recording. So every three, four months we adjust when we record anytime. So this is what it is right now.
Speaker 2:It is this right now, yeah, and we're going to have to be creative.
Speaker 1:It is also, I think the other part of it is that it's the time of year where there's so much going on because it's summer. So it's like everyone's having a birthday, everyone's having a party, everyone's having a gathering, and so it's hard to navigate the weekends. So that's why I felt stressed and talking about it, but I'm sure, when it the time of year winds down, it won't feel as stressful, but we're here.
Speaker 2:The point is we're, we got you gotta be kind of flexible, and we're doing it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we're doing that. Stanley's exhausted because he's been on edge for three days.
Speaker 2:Fourth of July.
Speaker 1:The fireworks really mess with the dogs.
Speaker 2:How was Dodgeball this week?
Speaker 1:Okay so have we talked about that. I'm in two leagues.
Speaker 2:Yes, I think, but you haven't like not. Yes, but the last time we talked about Dodgeball, the Wednesday, one hadn't started yet.
Speaker 1:So now it's full-blown Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and as of now I've gone to both, because there hasn't been you haven't been overwhelmed with things. Yeah, um, but Wednesday is Lucille's balls, which is the former team that you were the captain of, and we actually killed it, we crushed it. We won like 10 to one.
Speaker 2:It was crazy One, because there was no Markel.
Speaker 1:Correct and the one game we lost. So there's a person who I've not seen before in the other two games and um Jack, who's the captain right now, was like oh, this person's coming, but they're going to be late, and so but the game started and I totally forgot about that person, even after we switched sides. Like it was well past the halfway mark and I did see this person come in. And it was well past the halfway mark and I did see this person come in and it was just like standing on the slide sideline, but then he was standing at the like front of the line and so then we had a catch and everyone was like someone in, someone in, and this person, who had not been there at all, just ran in and the ref was like okay, no, and then called the game.
Speaker 2:Wait, had this person never played dodgeball in their life? I don't know Cause, obviously you're. You wouldn't be allowed to join in the middle of a game In the middle of a game.
Speaker 1:So that was the one game we lost cause he just ran in Wow. Well, I'm glad you guys beat hot to throw though we did yeah I hear he's not, markel's not on the team at all this season um he was there because he had been refereeing, so I was like iffy on it, but then he left. So yeah, who?
Speaker 3:did I ask he shouldn't be?
Speaker 1:he correct if you played professionally like you should not be playing in this division.
Speaker 2:I feel like Lucille's may take the crown this year.
Speaker 1:Maybe We'll see we're doing well right now.
Speaker 2:Jordan just had her 30th birthday, so stop by. And she and I both were like, yeah, I think I'm done with dodgeball. Forever, yeah, she's never doing it again.
Speaker 1:What? Because it got too stressful she was just like it wasn't fun.
Speaker 2:She's like I got really good at catching, but because I'm not an arm, I never got the chance to throw, and it's supposed to be like this. I was like fair.
Speaker 1:I will say there are a lot of guys on this team, a lot of guys that are good at throwing, and it is kind of like you got to step up. I just feel like I just I take the ball and I just go, and I think that you have to have that mentality or whatever.
Speaker 2:You have to really like the position you play, like, I feel like Sid. Just she accepts what she is and she's great at it.
Speaker 1:She helps get those balls. Because we were up so much this time we like had a powwow and we were like okay, like we don't care if we give up a game, like let's all try to catch, and like work on that skill. And then people who weren't really throwing at all, we were kind of like pushing them, give them some time to up being like no, like we're like, oh, no like, throw I, sid throw the ball. Yeah so. But so the week before is when the night that my family got here was.
Speaker 2:Wednesday oh yeah, guys, so they came to watch.
Speaker 1:They were very tired because they were on East Coast time and we didn't play until 9pm, but they did come and Daphne did fall asleep during the game, yeah, yeah. But enough to see me play, where afterwards she or amanda said that she had told her like that I was pretty good so that made me feel pretty good and I met.
Speaker 2:I had like four catches that game, so it was actually pretty oh, that was an impressive game for them to watch literally yeah, because normally that doesn't happen.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but yeah, so I guess I'll just recap that okay, yeah so they were there. They watched me play dodgeball. The next day we did went to Griffith.
Speaker 2:Or you did the Hollywood tourist things.
Speaker 1:Yes, we went to the observatory so we could get some good pictures of the Hollywood sign Cute. And then we went to Hollywood Boulevard Ate at Hard Rock we saw the things we did eat at Hard Rock Cafe, which was my first time being there Mid.
Speaker 2:Used the things we did eat at Hard Rock Cafe, which was my first time being there mid Used to be the spot. Like imagine Alex, 20 years old, in Hollywood, just stoked to be here.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Having any time I had a little extra money, I just would go to Hard Rock.
Speaker 1:Had you been to other Hard Rocks?
Speaker 2:No, okay.
Speaker 1:No, I think that maybe is why.
Speaker 2:So did you ever see the one at City Walk?
Speaker 1:Yes, because when I came in eighth grade, yeah, I think that we might have eaten there or at least walked by that was epic huge spinning car yeah, I do think that we went there because I remember I told you that I all I remembered was also how the moon being there and when I moved here I wanted I was like I've waited all these years to be here and old enough to go to that bar.
Speaker 1:And then it was gone. But I do think I went to that one. But I've been to many a Hard Rock.
Speaker 2:New York City. That's like a thing people used to do. It's like you stop, you get the shirt. Planet Hollywood and Hard Rock Cafe.
Speaker 1:I've been to many.
Speaker 2:Which is now Dr Toothsome's Chocolate Emporium, or whatever.
Speaker 1:Yeah, which we didn't make it to, but it's okay.
Speaker 2:No, it didn't close early, which is odd.
Speaker 1:That's so weird, but yeah. So we did touristy things, and then the next day was when we went to Disneyland. Well, that night I met, the fam Was that the that was the same day you did Hollywood, so maybe there was a day, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, it was, yeah, thursday. I've already forgotten. Yeah, that was Thursday. Yeah, you met up with us at.
Speaker 2:City Walk and we ate it margaritaville, which is always delicious. I pushed my. I got out of my comfort zone. I had a black bean burrito and it was good right it was good, I gagged a lot, but you did, yeah, but I didn't hear you well, no, because it's, you know, with the mouth closed is it like?
Speaker 1:you just like to swallow it? You needed a little. I'm thinking about it now, but the taste was good.
Speaker 2:Yeah, the flavor was good. I just hate the texture so much.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 2:But I met the kids, good job. And Daphne is an incredible dancer who forced Allison to do a religious TikTok dance.
Speaker 1:She did dance she did it, she's this random, like christian. I guess it's a viral sound song that I have never heard. But, uh, we did some shopping, uh, and then we ate dinner, and then we did some more shopping, and then her wish was for me to do this dance with her and I could not hear the music at all.
Speaker 2:My sister, had to count, she counted.
Speaker 1:So that I could dub the music over later.
Speaker 2:And you did great. I saw it.
Speaker 1:Thank you.
Speaker 2:And I was the videographer. Everyone, yes.
Speaker 1:And that was also another late night. But then we had to get up to go to Disney the next day and I was very tired. We did decide not to rope drop because we couldn't fathom. I told them how early they had to get up. Yes, and they were like you know what, Maybe we don't need to.
Speaker 2:I was trying to bully Amanda a little bit. I was like come on, you gotta no, but I get it, I get it, I get it.
Speaker 1:No, I think that our lives would have been worse yeah.
Speaker 2:They were pretty tired by the time we were leaving CityWalk Because so much we went on like 16 or 17 rides, hell yeah, and they were all the good rides, basically ever make it on, so let me tell you, they know me.
Speaker 1:You guys, you know alex's trick. I'm not going to go into it again because of one I kind of need to gatekeep a little bit. But we can modify, you can modify the things whatever I've talked about it a lot and we. We got there probably at nine, seven, 8, 30, 8, 30. Maybe it wasn't too late, but I think we probably left at 7, 30 so it wasn't not too bad it wasn't.
Speaker 2:We still got up early. How's the car like situation? Did you end up charging it there?
Speaker 1:I did and it worked. Everything was chill amazing. It was great there weren't that many chargers left by the time we got there closer to nine, but there were some left, so good to know, and we'll do it again.
Speaker 3:Okay, great Great.
Speaker 1:So we got on pretty much everything we wanted to do, and then we started in Disneyland. Okay to do. And then we started in disneyland. Okay, the whole day the tower of terror slash guardians of the galaxy was off of lightning lane. So by the time we switched to california adventure, it wasn't even available, and so I was like you guys, I don't know, this might be the one we have to stand in line for, because I kept checking and it wasn't on there worth it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we even we even did um star wars, uh rise of the resistance and we. It was only a half hour wait and it was like totally I know I'm so glad they got to ride it yeah, we had ridden it in the world okay but we at we asked if they wanted to and then we looked and it was like a 35 minute wait and we were like yeah, we can do that that's fine, so we didn't even need to pay for the.
Speaker 1:We didn't get to do cars, which is okay. Bad because it's an extra lightning lane purchase. So I'm watching it the whole day. I'm crushing the lightning lane. I'm like as soon as we get in line for something, I'm getting on there and then I'm refreshing and I'm changing it. I every time, every time, every ride we were on, I would modify it so that immediately as we were off that ride, our next lightning lane was ready.
Speaker 2:You're saying this to me as if I don't know. No.
Speaker 1:I know, but for some reason I feel cause we're not. I feel like when we are going there we're not trying to fit in as much as we possibly can. Trying to fit in as much as we possibly can, we just want to ride what we want to ride, yeah. And so without having to wait long dead ass, like we barely even stopped to eat anything to pee.
Speaker 2:We was like this is why you wanted us to have this in Disney world.
Speaker 1:You guys were understanding, Um, but like cause we were walking so much? Sometimes we had to go back and forth from California Adventure to, because of just how quickly. I got things and we were like well, we have to do this. So, yeah barely stopped to eat, barely stopped to sit Like ride warriors. I wore a skirt and that was a bad idea because my legs were chafing.
Speaker 2:Oh damn.
Speaker 1:And I cause it was so hot. I had brought leggings for later, but I didn't. I never had the chance to put one because of how long. Okay, so. So we're like okay, I think we're going to have to stand in line for guardians, and it was like an an hour and a half wait, maybe longer yeah.
Speaker 2:Like 120 minutes yeah.
Speaker 1:It was a lot of time and we were like, okay, you know what.
Speaker 2:Acceptance we're going to do it.
Speaker 1:So we get in line. And Daphne this is Daphne's thing, like she's. Like. This is my ride. Arlins was in Credit Coaster. We got on that very easily.
Speaker 2:Did Daphne ride it.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:Okay, I wasn't sure.
Speaker 1:She didn't end up doing it. So she's like this is my ride and we're doing it, so we get. We're standing there for probably like 15, 20 minutes and we barely moved. And she, Daphne, was like you know what we can get off.
Speaker 2:Over it. We can get off, just like in Florida. Let's get out of this line.
Speaker 3:Literally and I had already had a lightning lane for Monsters.
Speaker 1:Inc. That I was like going to wait till the last second to cancel just in case that happened. And since it did, we went over to Monsters Inc. And and since it did, we went over to Monsters Inc. And we're on the ride, or we check in and we're in line. And I see that Guardians has opened up, but it was still like a little bit later.
Speaker 1:I get it and I refresh, and I get it for like 10 minutes from then and I was like you guys are not going to believe this and we all freak out, we're like woo, like high-fiving, we're like we can't believe this. Yeah, that's great time we get on Monsters Inc ride. The ride breaks down.
Speaker 2:Monsters.
Speaker 1:Yes, it breaks down and we're sitting there for 10 minutes and then they turn on all the lights.
Speaker 3:Oh.
Speaker 1:And they come over loudspeaker and they're like hey, you guys are just gonna have to sit there, we'll come get you, basically okay. So we get walked off of monster's ink yeah, really everything looks different with the lights on we were in, like the door room with all the mirrors.
Speaker 1:You almost made it through we had almost made it, but the way that they walk you off of a ride is that they start at the beginning and they make everyone get off the ride row by row. So I guess there's only two rows on that and then, once everyone's off that, they walk you to the next car. So it took a while because we were almost to the end.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah.
Speaker 1:And they make you walk single file. And once they got to us then we had to do. There was a couple cars in front of us and then they gave us a free skip a free skip the line. So the kids really wanted to do. Arlen wanted to do in credit coaster one more time and daphne wanted to do thunder mountain one more time.
Speaker 3:So we were like cool.
Speaker 1:We go to guardians, we're like, perfect, we can do those three. And then we're gonna be done, because california venture was about to close oh, sure, okay um, well, in a few hours it was gonna close, so we go to get in line. For guardians it's like 7, 20 or something, and we are now standing there and the line isn't moving in the lightning lane in the lightning lane and In the lightning lane oh, and they come over the speaker and they're like hey, we're only running half of the ride right now only two elevators.
Speaker 1:So it is going to be a while, but we are, we'll prioritize lightning lane, and so we're like okay, like we should, we should get on like it should be fine yeah it barely moves and I'm like, oh my gosh, like such a high to such a low like we were so excited to get on.
Speaker 1:And then now we're not moving here and I just in my little like sly self, I go. I'm just going to go ask someone and I find a worker and I'm like, hey, we have a lightning lane for this. Is there any way that you could like give us a new lightning lane for later? Cause like we're standing here and like this sucks or whatever, and she's like I can't do that because you've already scanned in. But what I? But you can go talk to this other person and you can ask for a bathroom pass and she should be able to get. But she's like whispering to me because she didn't want everyone to hear. She's like you can ask for a bathroom pass and she might give it to you. She might not. I don't know. You can see, I'm like I got.
Speaker 2:What does this bathroom pass?
Speaker 1:do it was an actual piece of paper that said bathroom, pass on it. I don't know if it's just like the big. The big um rides. Have this thing where, if it's like your kid is like freaking out or whatever, and I go, hey girl to the worker, is there? Any way that I can get a bathroom pass for this wink wink and she like she's over it yeah she's like how many people are in your party?
Speaker 1:easy four I was like four, she goes. She kind of rolled her eyes. She's like all right, and so she goes and she gets it. She has to write the date and time on it and circle the number and it only goes up to four. So I think if you have a bigger party, she'd be like no, yes, but because I had four.
Speaker 1:She was like so she gives me this paper. It's so weird, it's a literal piece of paper. And she was like you, can you have to use this before the night's over, like you can't?
Speaker 2:So you basically go back to lighting lane and you say I have this light and that's how it works. Understood, Okay.
Speaker 1:Yeah. So then I go back and I'm like you guys I did it again Get out of line.
Speaker 2:And Allison is here.
Speaker 1:So we went to ride in Credit Coaster and we were like, let's wait until right before the park's about to close, like the last moment we can get on.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because you'll still have two hours over at.
Speaker 1:Disney. Yeah, so we did that. We had got a bite to eat and then we went back and then we literally walked right on.
Speaker 2:we had to wait a little bit inside, but like totally fine. So we did get to ride it, but it was a roller coaster. Did Daphne like it?
Speaker 1:because she didn't get to do Tower of Terror um, she did, but she was like screaming a lot, yeah, okay there's this like thing that the kids say, yeah, have you heard this oh, she said that in when we were at dinner um, my sister told her she was allowed to yell that because she was scared okay, and so she just yelled that the whole time she said oh my yeah, like as we're going up and down, okay, but in the end she liked it okay, and then we went over.
Speaker 1:She rode thunder mountain again. Uh, we watched the fireworks as we were kind of walking over, and then that was it super successful like as we counted up everything, it was like 16, 17 very impressive.
Speaker 2:Did you do any dark rides?
Speaker 1:no those were the ones we forwent. We didn't even do little mermaid, but again they've been on haunted mansion.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you did do that.
Speaker 1:That was early in the day I got that, so fast, we did splash mountain and we well sorry tiana's by adventure.
Speaker 3:Yes, yes, I covered ourselves up again. Yeah, we had yeah.
Speaker 1:And so we got off and these people were like this is the most genius thing I've ever heard.
Speaker 2:I was like I gotta shout out to my friend megan, who really hooked it up with these, hooked it up with the boots, which are the extra ones, right?
Speaker 1:oh, I think we ordered amanda ordered, oh okay, but it's a game changer. The boots are a game changer because I can deal with A wet butt yeah, my shirt being wet, my skirt being out, whatever but the shoes are the issue and 100%.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 1:This guy was like you've changed my life forever and I will never come here again without those boots.
Speaker 2:That's all you need really. Yeah, cause it's like worst case scenario is having your feet be wet all day. Yeah, if you aren't prepared with a change of shoes.
Speaker 1:Right, right, right. So yeah, there was that. Then we had another chill day, and then hang by the pool and stuff. Yes, and then on Saturday or on Sunday, one of the Saturday, we were like Santa Monica, hang it up. We, one of the saturday, we were like santa monicaing it up. We went. We started in venice, nice. We walked the boardwalk to the pier, we rode the roller coaster twice, twice yes really eager twice and honestly pretty fast
Speaker 1:yeah and it's pretty old and rickety and like just these, like teenagers are running it and it's kind of like are we gonna die or yeah, are the bolts secure? Literally kind of scary, yeah, but then we ate at cheesecake factory, hell yeah, and we had an early uh birthday singing to daphne cute and then we went to bed and then the next day we did like we played mini golf.
Speaker 2:It was very right by your house. Yeah, so nice. Sherman Oaks Castle Park. Shout out Sherman.
Speaker 1:Oaks Castle Park. We, it was very hot. We played a lot of Mario Party. Cute had a chill day, so it was a very nice time. They left Sunday, or they left Monday they left Monday morning okay and had a great time.
Speaker 2:I think that you packed it all in.
Speaker 1:We did, I think. Um, the only thing I think was maybe the large crowds of like Hollywood Boulevard and of like Venice Venice was very crowded, yeah, and I think that that was a little anxiety inducing, but other than that, okay pretty good. So, I know you guys are listening. Thank you for coming to hang out with me.
Speaker 2:You think they had fun?
Speaker 1:Yeah, of course.
Speaker 2:Amazing. It was really nice to finally meet them.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it felt like you already had.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I agree, yeah it felt very like oh yeah, my people, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:So that was that, and then this past week, what happened up until the 4th of July? For this past week, what happened?
Speaker 2:up until the 4th of July, for you or for me?
Speaker 1:Either.
Speaker 2:Well, my time has been spent getting so busy. I mean, we have had a very dramatic week at work, which I can't talk about?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I can tell you off.
Speaker 2:I know people hate listening to podcasts in the post We'll talk about it after. But like legally can't talk about it on this podcast and that was like pretty all-consuming. It was a lot my fitness journey, that I'm on my coach quit, which was crazy because you know how that's drama it's drama. So this last week was also me interviewing and choosing a new coach.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:And I've chosen one.
Speaker 1:Is he okay or like what?
Speaker 2:He's just he is changing careers to have more time with his wife and kids, kind of a thing.
Speaker 1:Okay, could have waited until your time was over. I mean I have three more months with him. I'm sure he has a lot more. Yeah, I'm not his only client no-transcript him and I thought I was gonna meet last night and I didn't get to, so that sucks for me. He's very bummed.
Speaker 2:I told him he has to because I've pretty much met all of his friends.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And so he still needs to meet you, katie, and uh, angela, and then he will.
Speaker 1:Yeah, well, megan yeah.
Speaker 2:But then he will have met um my LA friends.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I went to Susanna's going away party. It's just been like an emotional time with her.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And then, um oh fun, my windshield shattered.
Speaker 1:What? How so I?
Speaker 2:had a rock hit it Like when I was headed to the premiere for big mouth like over a month ago. Yeah, oh yeah, you said that rock on the freeway, just like put quite a like. When I looked at it after I could like pick glass out of it. It was like a boulder kind of situation.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And it was. If you're looking, you guys like, oh, it's like a half dollar size, okay. And then over the last month a crack has been like going longer. I was like, oh, this is going to need a whole windshield replacement. I got a quote $890.
Speaker 1:Oh my.
Speaker 2:God Because my windshield is a smart windshield that senses lane switching.
Speaker 1:It does Apparently. Can you be like can I get the dumb one, or what?
Speaker 2:Yeah, no, I didn't even think about it, it's just a windshield. Well, it's so much more apparently.
Speaker 1:Do you even utilize that?
Speaker 2:So what it is is, it's not that it has the technology in it, it's that the cameras in my in like where my rear view mirror is have to have a certain cutout, so the window is designed differently, whatever I scheduled the appointment, because I was like I can't, I'm I have this phobia of my windshield shattering in on me yeah, it's giving final decision yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2:So I scheduled the appointment the day of. I'm like, also, my, my insurance deductible is a thousand dollars, so it wouldn't have even mattered to like submit its insurance. Yeah, so the technician cancels the morning of and needs to reschedule it, and I was like, okay, fine. Well then he rescheduled it to a time when I was needed to be on set longer, so I canceled the appointment. I was like, whatever, I'm gonna drive with this till it shatters, like I also don't really want to drop nine hundred dollars right now. Whatever I was, I had dinner with the boy at his place and when I left his place he lives in like he lives in Hollywood, and I was going around out and around this fucking curve hit a massive pothole and the when she went, just like three huge crack lines go across. I was like, okay, I'm not gonna tempt fate anymore. Yeah, so I got home and then I was like there's gotta be something cheaper, cause I went with the first thing I found.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I did some research. I found a company that did it for $580.
Speaker 1:That's better.
Speaker 2:They came out here on Friday. They completely fixed my windshield right out front.
Speaker 1:Took him 30 minutes. Yeah, they have that thing that just like lifts off.
Speaker 2:Yeah, exactly, I was under the impression. I was like so I can't drive it for 24 hours, Like I was like this is throwing a wrench in all of my plans. He was like no, just don't go in a car wash for a day, that's all.
Speaker 1:And I was like what if it rained? Though?
Speaker 2:He said the adhesive is waterproof, but they don't want. You're not. You can't go to water. You can't go in a carwash for the pressure, not because of the wetness.
Speaker 1:Okay. Well, now I'm in the clear, okay. But then I had this fear like what if fireworks hit my windshield? Well then, that's a spiral for every day You're absolutely right.
Speaker 2:So I have a new windshield spent money. I wasn't expecting to, but you know, sometimes that's life.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And um didn't love that, but can't have a shattered windshield.
Speaker 1:No, you know you gotta drive every day. We don't live in a place with a.
Speaker 2:Absolutely not. My lease is almost up here already. Can you believe that?
Speaker 1:No Wait when.
Speaker 2:It's a six month lease and I've been here one more month and it will be six months.
Speaker 1:Wow, that's crazy.
Speaker 2:I still have two boxes to unpack. You've done a good job, though, thanks, and I got to go to a couple events for bear bell, I'm on, whatever I'm kind of on their pr list now love that um working on a partnership or a potential sponsorship for something at buzzfeed with them so and I'm about to have a really busy week of shoots. Again, I'm doing another red carpet.
Speaker 2:I have two shoots at the office at the office, and then this weekend I am meeting my boyfriend's relatives, so I'm really getting the the whole family to uh yeah. Well, family to uh well, that's very exciting. Yes, and I booked a trip to Cabo.
Speaker 1:Oh, my God For boyfriend's 40th birthday. Love and that will be in october. Love that, and that's been everything. So happy, thanks, um. Just to round out my week yes, hayley's birthday was on the thursday. And wait, yes, did we talk about how I got like, really drunk? No okay, so the week? Hmm, yes, we did. It was the pacers thing so I haven't been able to drink yeah, yeah, as it goes and I was like I can't, I still can't do it.
Speaker 1:I had like a couple drinks but drew the line yeah I'm really happy I did that because I felt great yeah, proud of you. But um, I'll get back to also another reason why I didn't drink that much. But hayley's birthday party and then the fourth I went to josh's work and listened to a great rock cover band 80s rock cover band, and then the watch fireworks.
Speaker 1:And then it was yesterday when we went to see yesterday we went to a movie in the park and watched the princess bride, which I had seen sometime in high school, because I feel like it was one of those, like my history teacher, when it was gone, like had the sub play it or whatever, but I didn't really remember the full movie and I had a great time the thing with that movie that I realized because I haven't seen it in maybe 10 years, but it is was so popular in my household that I could still recite every line.
Speaker 2:But what I forgot about this movie is like when you watch something like that as a kid, it's very like you know, kind of in the same not as humorous, but humor line is like Monty Python.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But like as a kid, I didn't take it like that. Like I thought it was like see, I can remember the scene where they're like throwing themselves down the hill is so obviously comical.
Speaker 1:Yeah. But as a kid, kid. I remember being like, wow, that's crazy. Like I took the movie seriously. I think I knew that it was funny, but I think that I was like I, it's like dad funny yeah like it's like a older generation and so I just like don't think I paid attention, but I thought it was.
Speaker 2:I had a great time like some of the super fun. Yeah, like some of the dialogue was. It's so like obviously.
Speaker 1:Also the whole time. All I could think of of that main guy.
Speaker 2:Wesley.
Speaker 1:Is that somehow Austin Butler needs to be play that role, Like they need to like reboot it, or like do it again. And he is Austin Butler.
Speaker 2:Have you seen Saw?
Speaker 1:So I looked, obviously quickly went to IMDB and looked up and I did see that he was in Saw. But what Saw?
Speaker 2:The first one. He's like the one with his, like the original Saw.
Speaker 1:I haven't seen that in so very long, so I don't really remember it.
Speaker 2:He's also in Twister, the original Twister.
Speaker 1:Yes, he is the adversary. Yeah, I have seen like he's, I like recognized him and Robin Wright, of course. But I couldn't stop thinking about Austin Butler and how much he looks exactly like him, yeah, so Robin Wright yeah, stanley's having a dream oh, puppers, so that Josh ever seen it.
Speaker 1:I think so yeah, okay yeah it was a cute. It was a cute cute crowd, good movie yeah, always like the movies in the park and I do now that I've done that one again. I do prefer the autry museum over the hollywood forever cemetery, even though it is a cool thing that it's in the cemetery I've never done it so I can't compare, but I just know based on the parking parking.
Speaker 1:Terrible. It's a such a smaller space and they project the movie onto the side of the building so it's not as high in the air and it is like a little harder to see if you're not like yeah, we'll say too.
Speaker 2:I think we also, because we've done the autry a handful of times now. It is pretty obvious by the time the movie starts and you like look around and see how many hundreds of people are there. It is important to get there when the doors open it is.
Speaker 1:it's like it does suck to sit there for a couple hours, if it's, you know it was.
Speaker 2:We were right in direct sunlight for like an hour.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but with a bigger group I think it goes by quickly.
Speaker 2:If it's just like two people. It's kind of like all right we're just sitting here playing cards or some shit Like what are you doing?
Speaker 1:No, the outing, yeah had a good time. So other things that have happened since we've recorded is the bezos wedding did.
Speaker 2:You see, I did things about this.
Speaker 1:What were your thoughts?
Speaker 2:um, I was kind of surprised by some of the people that were there, like why was sydney sweeney there, girl?
Speaker 1:yes, so people have talked about this and the, the deduction what has been deduced is that possibly because amazon studios, I think, just maybe produced something that she was in? Could be that could be that they have like a 19 year old son, or one of them has a 19 year old son. That's like, hey, if you're getting celebrities, get me city's mini because, Because like duh, totally.
Speaker 1:Or maybe Brandy Brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy, brandy. Badly about them and some people went some people didn't? Olivia munn, charlie's, they're on they were the biggest rosie o'donnell leo dicaprio no, he went and he was trying to hide he was.
Speaker 2:He flew in on a private jet, literally what that is like.
Speaker 1:one of the biggest um criticisms I've seen of people is like he is out here preaching to save the planet, save the animals, Like he probably does, donate a lot of money.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So sure, but then he's like on his private jet and he's at Jeff Bezos his wedding, who is contributing poorly to the environment.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And he, he's not even doing it with his chest, he's trying to hide. He's trying to wear his hat and hide from it. It's like, then don't go.
Speaker 3:Right.
Speaker 1:You had to be there so badly.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:If you're that ashamed like you could have skipped it, or or you could have, you know, flown commercial yeah fucking crazy I also know I was also, because I saw that coming out.
Speaker 2:I didn't know that there was also an award show that leo had gone to where he was driving his hummer, parked it far away, got into a prius and then drove the rest of the way to prius what a that is crazy, and you know what.
Speaker 1:I only like him as um jack jack and like it stops there I did like him in growing pains.
Speaker 2:That was when I first had a crush on him.
Speaker 1:Oh my god I didn't really watch, but I mean yeah, you get it though I get it. He had leo dicaprio hair. He had jack dawson hair yeah, I can't really watch what's Eating Gilbert Grape.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's hard, that's a hard one, that's a hard one.
Speaker 1:Everything like up until Titanic is like yeah, cute, cute boy.
Speaker 2:I've never seen the Island Romeo and Juliet, though.
Speaker 1:You have to watch the Island Romeo and Juliet, though you love cults. You've said this to me before, I know I know, I tell people all the time Put it on the list.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I need to find out what streaming it's on, cause I would watch that shit Like.
Speaker 1:You need to because you are. You love cults and it is prime Leonardo DiCaprio looks.
Speaker 2:Okay, I'm going to check right now. Okay, search, it's called the island, the island. Oh, there's also the island, the other one. That's good.
Speaker 1:Is it just called? Island, maybe I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's.
Speaker 2:No, I think it. The island 2006 no yeah. That's too old or too new. I thought you were right. I thought it was called the Island.
Speaker 1:The Beach, the Beach Same thing, thank you.
Speaker 2:Thank you, the Beach.
Speaker 1:Tilda Swinton is in it 2000.
Speaker 2:I was about to say 10-year-old she is the leader. Tilda.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Fun Okay, it is available to stream on Probably nothing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, fun Okay, it is available to stream on Probably nothing Prime Amazing Tonight.
Speaker 2:Prime. It's available to stream on Prime. Okay, I'll watch it.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Cute.
Speaker 1:I refuse to believe that his life went on after Titanic because he just turned into a creep and like a fraud. Yeah, and I, I hate it. Hate, it turned into a creep and like a fraud, yeah, and I I hate it. Hate it, leo god. Okay, but anyway, and like everyone is like talking about how they spent like 40 million dollars, but like it's ugly, yeah I will say like her dress got criticism.
Speaker 1:I don't think it's ugly. I just don't think it feels like it to italy in the summer. Right. It like felt like a winter heavy wedding gown yes I don't think it matched and everyone in attendance was giving hunger games like it just felt um for some reason. I'm sure there are other rich weddings that maybe don't feel like this, but it just felt like a little what's it called Um opulent excess. No, what are those? Well, all the movies called dystopian dystopian.
Speaker 1:You knew where I was going. It felt dystopian in terms of, like, all of the rich people and the weird dresses and all of that. But it's like if she has bad tastes, like that's fine, Like I don't know that, I'm here to be like you, your wedding is ugly and you're stupid for it. Everyone has different tastes. She is rich enough that she could have maybe hired a wedding planner.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but if she was 10 toes down on like this is what I want for my wedding, then I don't care. I just care that, like they have that much money and they, they could have done it for a 10th of that and it would have still been a more rich wedding than anyone else could do, other than those people in Mumbai Right, which they didn't get that much hate, which is weird.
Speaker 2:True.
Speaker 1:Maybe because they aren't American, slash also these big company CEOs or whatever. I think that's a bigger thing. But I just thought it was an interesting thing. But honestly, what was more interesting is that I didn't see one single thing about it until people started hating. So it's like they're kind of out of my um zeitgeist.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they're not in your realm.
Speaker 1:I didn't see anything, not a single thing, until people started being like actually same. This is ugly. Yeah same, which I did. I was like you know what Good job. I'll send you your for you page, brick by brick, and it didn't include Jeff Bezos.
Speaker 2:That's very nice.
Speaker 1:Even though I did order something from Amazon. Yeah, it's really hard to not to. Yeah Also, something else that happened since we have recorded is that Diddy's trial has ended. Do you know the outcome?
Speaker 2:I know that he was acquitted of like or three of the five charges were dropped.
Speaker 1:Yes, he was found not guilty of the racketeering sex trafficking sex trafficking and something else.
Speaker 1:Um, I think that maybe there was a couple counts of sex trafficking okay but, but like he is still, he still could get up to 20 years yeah, he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, which could get him 20 years, but probably will not, even if he's um sentenced to that like he'll probably get out sooner because obviously we have too many people in prison and he is rich and famous and could be pardoned by Trump or could just be let out on good behavior.
Speaker 1:I'm doing that in quotes and just use his influence to get him out, so it's like I just wonder if there's a career to even be had after this he doesn't need to, because he's created such a large empire that he can live off of it that's true, unless I guess he spins insanely and everyone's not buying sarok who's buying sarok me? I don't think I've even never had it.
Speaker 2:I don't know that I have either.
Speaker 1:Maybe it is good, but like if it was good, more people would be having it. It's true, hey, to be really honest about everything, yes, but sad because I just feel like the victims. I'm just like to have gone through that and then to be, you know, be able to be on the stand and get to at least like tell your side of the story from the prosecutions, like obviously the defense is going to ask and try to make them look discredit, like discredit what they're saying but the prosecution, like at least was trying to let them say what happened to them and get it out there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then for a jury to be like yeah, we just like don't know if we believe, or like there's not enough evidence. So like sorry, yeah, it's just that really sucks. Yeah, for because one of the Jane does or whatever I saw something about like he allegedly um, dragged her by her hair and and it's just like that's and and forced her to like have relations or whatever in the, in these freak off situation, like that obviously is illegal, right, it's not okay.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And for the jury. I understand, you know, I was a juror once.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's true, you're experienced.
Speaker 1:I understand where it's like. This is a really heavy allegation and for the defense to have done well at their job, I guess to put doubt into the jurors minds and to be like well, no, I can't say 100 that this is that because, from what I heard, racketeering was like such a hard thing. Did you know what racketeering came from?
Speaker 2:no, what did it come from?
Speaker 1:I, so this is from josh and this is also me hearing three-fourths of it. Yeah, yeah, okay, and processing that amount. But it didn't exist before, like the, like, the mob era, the mafia era, because there wasn't really. They were doing so many illegal things that I think that the government had to create racketeering as a way to like encompass all of the illegal activity they were doing, cause it was too much, and so it was like a way to a way to um qualify what, like, people in the mafia were doing back then.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:As like an all encompassing, like illegal act.
Speaker 3:Right, okay, okay.
Speaker 1:So it didn't exist, like really until then, which is interesting, but it feels like it was a quintessential thing here and the jury, I guess, like just didn't, didn't get yeah believe it. So I don't know, maybe there's more to happen, with other people coming, yeah, forward, or or do they just keep suing him and he just keeps settling?
Speaker 1:right, I don't know because it's so he has so much money and a person off the street who was affected by this and was a victim, to then be like I'm going to sue you, like they don't have that much money to combat him, so like he with it being a federal thing, like the feds had obviously the means to do that, but like a regular person that's just going to sue him, like they're going to have to settle Right and then he just is going to. It's going to be a continuous thing unless the feds like find new things against him, they can charge him with something new.
Speaker 1:Right, I don't know. It's a loss for sure for the good guys. Yeah, but he was denied bail, so he like isn't out of jail.
Speaker 2:He's a flight risk.
Speaker 1:Yeah, because he could just get on one of his private jets and go to a country that can't get him Yep, so good on them for doing that. But yeah, those were the big things that we hadn't got to talk about yet. I think we have some speak pipes.
Speaker 2:Well, do you have an a-list of the week?
Speaker 1:oh, are you gonna sing?
Speaker 2:a-list.
Speaker 1:A-list of the week oh, it's different every time.
Speaker 2:Yeah, have you not noticed that? No oh I really didn't. So it's time for a-list.
Speaker 1:A-list of the week I really didn't have one, but the princess bride is a good one. If you haven't seen it, or if you haven't seen in a long time, honestly watch it. Because I thought I was like not gonna. It was, I thought it was just something for me to just be with my friends and I was like not gonna care about the movie, but I actually had a great time watching it I have a theory with that too.
Speaker 2:The movie was not long.
Speaker 1:Remember back then movies used to be an hour 20 minutes, no hour and a half movie yeah, the best time.
Speaker 2:It's like oh, wow, yeah.
Speaker 1:Some of them aren't because old I, since I've been on the star Wars journey which I haven't watched another one in a while, but they are kind of long and I am tired just watching them.
Speaker 2:It's a lot of things to take in in those movies.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but a good 90 minute movie Hell yeah, perfect time, hell yeah. Yeah, I also had. Uh, sorry, sorry no no go. I was reminded of the Trader Joe's chocolate covered pretzels, also because I had a bag of them sitting there last night.
Speaker 2:Why didn't you have some Well cause didn't you have some? Well, because you gave me a cookie and it was and I was enough.
Speaker 1:It was great, yeah, so good. I was reminded of how good they are, and so that's also my second a list of the week chocolate covered pretzels from trader specifically the trader joe's ones, because the chocolate is good, but if you don't have, a trader, joe's near you, then any would suffice I'm sure I don't like the chocolate on, sorry to say, it flips yeah I just don't like that chocolate very much.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I feel like the trader, joe's chocolate seems a little bit more like swiss, like uh, yes that style of chocolate I agree and it's salty, salty, sweet yes, um my, my a list of the week is linen pants, so I'm wearing some right now oh my god I actually live in linen pants I finally wore my first pair.
Speaker 1:Don't you love them.
Speaker 2:I.
Speaker 1:It's not my style normally but I decided to see them on this outfit.
Speaker 2:I bought this outfit from Zara and the boyfriend gassed me up before I went out to Jordan's birthday and he said, yes, you look so good in that you must wear that. And I was like, okay.
Speaker 1:I love this for you. I can't say enough good things about linen pants.
Speaker 2:You are a linen pants biggest fans. You wore them last night too.
Speaker 1:Yes, because here's the thing Dress them up, dress them down in the summer.
Speaker 2:They're breezy.
Speaker 1:They're breezy in the winter, not that cold. I mean I, if I were in Indiana, maybe different, but here specifically, yeah, just perfectly, yeah, just like so versatile. They do crinkle and wrinkle.
Speaker 2:But if you have a way to fix that, if you've got a steamer, a steamer, an iron.
Speaker 1:I have my whatchamacallit iron like the straightener, like kind just a quick little. Yeah, even throw them in the. I wouldn't recommend the dryer, but if you have the, you know setting on your dryer, that just fluffs and wrinkles a little bit that, because I don't dry mine, so don't dry yours.
Speaker 2:Would I ever dry my pants?
Speaker 1:No, I actually only stopped not drying things when I met you, because of me, yeah, but I love linen pants, so I am very happy for you.
Speaker 2:It's a new journey for me. I have two pair Wow, and the ones that were also Forest Green. You ever see me in that? No.
Speaker 1:No Wow.
Speaker 2:I'll show you the picture. It's kind of a fly outfit.
Speaker 1:I'm excited you are good at outfits no not like this.
Speaker 2:This is not something I would have worn.
Speaker 1:That's true, but it's good for you, it is good for me and I got complimented at the restaurant. You're growing up. I'm growing up finally getting out of the skinny jeans.
Speaker 2:So yeah, linen pants.
Speaker 3:Okay, so happy for that. That actually really made me happy. Speak, pipe our life away. Hi, alex, and alex, it's cooper from the gold coast in australia. I have two questions for both of you. Allison, how did you find the fitness martial and do you like dancing? Alex, do you like your job and I love your podcast. Keep up the good work, both of you thank you, cooper.
Speaker 1:Yes thank you very much.
Speaker 2:I was it how I found the fitness martial how you found the fitness martial and how you found the fitness marshal, and how do you like dance?
Speaker 1:I, the fitness marshal found me.
Speaker 1:I was gonna say I feel like one day um, so if you're new here, um, caleb the fitness marshal, uh, myself and hayley, jordan 12, we all went. We're all from the same hometown and we all went to high school together. Um, ish, hayley was a was not in high school when I was a senior, but we in college. I was there an extra year so we went to the same college and then we were in college together. So we all grew up together same dance studios, like we just were all in each other's lives at some point. Uh, and then when caleb started the fitness marshal in at the end of his college career, he just started asking his friends to be in the videos and I was one of those friends at one point. And then, when it started being a serious thing of touring and going all over the country, then I became a regular and then I moved to LA too.
Speaker 2:That became full-time for you in like 21?.
Speaker 1:Yeah, full-time in 2021. And, of course, I love dancing. I don't think I could be doing this if I didn't, because everything that comes along with being on the internet sometimes isn't great, so I have to love dancing in order to continue doing it, because if not, then the negative stuff would outweigh the positive. So, um, yeah, of course I love it and speaking out of loving dancing.
Speaker 2:Or you're subbing soon, right?
Speaker 1:oh my god, yeah, I forgot to say that. No, it already happened, so sorry guys. Rewind to this week so I did a guest teaching spot. My friend Devin just opened up his own dance studio in West Hollywood and asked me if I wanted to teach a class. So I taught a jazz contemporary. We called it jazz fusion because my dance style is kind of contemporary but kind of jazzy, I guess more contemporary, okay than that. But they already had a contemporary person teaching, so I think we went towards the jazz fusion of it all. Um, but I taught that on thursday afternoon. I had a full day on thursday we had a live stream.
Speaker 1:I went and taught this class and then um hayley's birthday, so, yeah, it was nice and I'm gonna do another one. Okay, at some point I think he has a grand opening happening that I might be a part of, just like in a small number thing. No, it's like uh, he is having like 30 minute spots of people can come take like short classes, basically just like learn a little bit, um, and get to know some of the teachers, but I I think I said maybe towards the end of the month or early august I might do another one, so I will keep everyone abreast did you enjoy that I did.
Speaker 1:I was, I think, like going forward. I'll be like more, I was less. I was very stressed because I hadn't taught a class other than the school. But a full like hour and a half classes a lot.
Speaker 2:Did anyone you know took it? Take it.
Speaker 1:Yes, Um my friend Sal did.
Speaker 2:Oh fun.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so there was that, okay, your behalf of the question. Do you like what you do?
Speaker 2:I do like what I do. It's been a long road coming, In fact, so I think I told you guys how I got the job that I had interviewed for last year. That said that passed. They came back and they were like we actually do want you.
Speaker 2:I talked to them, had a really good conversation. Ultimately, I'm turning them down because they just don't want to pay the rate. That would make it worth it for me to put efforts in and that's fine. I was already prepared for it to not totally align, but it was nice to get the validation of like we made a mistake. We should have gone. Um, because if they, if I had gone with them, I wouldn't be where I am now at Buzzfeed.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Life would have been different totally different and everything that I'm doing now at Buzzfeed is leading to be like a pretty awesome rest of the year and future. So, yes, I do love what I do and I'm liking it more and more every week. So I'm excited to see, like when it starts to level out, because right now, I am very, very busy. I'm still working two jobs and I want to just be working one ultimately, but also I'm still getting back on my feet and building things back up.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Which, because of these two situations I'm in, we'll be able to actually do. So, I'm excited about that and I do love what I do.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Tomorrow Stanley meets, so thank you Sorry. Thank you, cooper. Thank you for sending those in, sending those questions in. Thank you for listening.
Speaker 1:Yes, thank you.
Speaker 2:The.
Speaker 1:Gold Coast sounds.
Speaker 2:It's on my list. It's always in my top three.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's just so expensive to eat to Australia.
Speaker 2:No, I know Dammit.
Speaker 1:Stanley's meeting someone.
Speaker 2:Tomorrow Stanley's meeting, max. Max His potential new on-call babysitter.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:So I found someone. He seems really cool, he's very close to here, he's a personal trainer, so his schedule is really flexible. Nice and he's coming over here to meet Stanley in the morning, because I'm about to be in Vegas and I'm just like I just want him to go somewhere where he can just like stay the whole time yeah and I don't have to stress about it, and we'll see.
Speaker 1:I have high hopes, I have a backup person in case Max is okay, but we hope, because, max, it seems serendipitous for you yeah I've exactly I vetted him.
Speaker 2:He has great reviews. He was really communicative with me and, like stanley, loves women but he is typically really great with like guys right away of course and I like that max lives like less than a mile from here, so it's like I know he's close.
Speaker 1:Yeah, there's ever an issue or whatever yeah, so anyway, well, I have high, I have high hopes for you guys me too, me too would you like to hear the birthdays for today?
Speaker 2:happy birthday. I have no voice ringo star is 85.
Speaker 1:He doesn't look 85 to me I'm sorry, two beetles are still alive yes interesting, I thought it was just paul no, paul and ringo are still alive, george, john and there were only four.
Speaker 2:There were only four. They are past john jacob jingleheimer schmidt and schmidt, yeah, 85 tom scandoval who just performed an x factor is 42.
Speaker 1:Yeah, jim gaffigan, it's only men really, uh 59 okay and then, uh, just entertainment wise, the movie rookie of the year came out in 1993. Did you watch that? I so many times I was gonna say I feel like this was a gay awakening for you or like a do you have a crush on him? On dennis quaid well, yeah, no on the kid there's a kid rookie of the year. Yeah, that's the whole thing rookie of the year are you thinking of angels in the outfield?
Speaker 1:no, you are no rookie of the year is this kid who breaks his arm. He's in little league. He breaks his arm and then it heals weird. And all of a sudden he can throw like a million miles an hour of the year yeah, and then they put him on the car, or they put him on the angels right, or oh, no, dodgers angels.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, cubs, hold on is it rookie of the year? The one with dennis quaid, where he's like an old dude, that's like still got a great pitching arm. So he goes on to it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he's in it. He is the old pitcher that they kick to the curb when they hire the new one.
Speaker 2:No, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Speaker 1:Are we thinking of someone else?
Speaker 2:Dennis Quaid is in the movie.
Speaker 1:Dennis Quaid Hold, everyone hold, okay.
Speaker 2:You're right.
Speaker 1:Gary Busey is the person that's in this movie, but also but it's the Cubs that he plays for.
Speaker 2:And it is the arm. Yeah, please type in the rookie.
Speaker 1:Yes, but you, you're thinking of that, but you didn't think that boy was cute.
Speaker 2:Oh, now that I know who you're talking about, yes, Okay, good. I was like no, as a kid spencer, or abigail, no, not spencer the guy from two and a half men? Who's that? The kid from two and a half men? The half man from two and a half men?
Speaker 1:okay, the rookie dennis quaid is a disney movie yes and true story about a coach who discovers that it's never too late for dreams to come true. Jim morris never made it out of the minor leagues before a shoulder injury ended his pitching career. 12 years Now, a married man with high school uh, with high school chemistry teacher and baseball coach in Texas. That is not a right sentence, Jim. Jim's team makes a deal with him. If they win the district championship, Jim will try out for the major league organization. I have also seen that.
Speaker 2:And his son is played by that half man from two and a half men.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:It's a good movie. I kind of want to watch it again.
Speaker 1:I bet it's on Disney plus it is Um, but I think rookie of the year is a better movie.
Speaker 2:Different.
Speaker 1:And Gary Busey has Dennis Quaid like features, meaning they're just white men with kind of blondish, brownish hair. Sure, but he is the pitcher who gets kicked to the curb when they put the, the kid in got it.
Speaker 2:Wow, I'm really glad we worked yeah that was crazy.
Speaker 1:What a journey. Um other than that scary movie came out in 2000 and speak now.
Speaker 2:Taylor's version was released in 2023, on this day I was gonna say two years ago two years ago and I bought that vinyl right up because and now, since she owns all of her things now. Now we're not getting taylor's version she said she would if the fans want them, and I'm like, obviously, yeah, well, of course with them.
Speaker 1:She apparently hasn't even finished recording, um because she knew she was getting her master's? I think so because she didn't.
Speaker 2:She finished reputation, though, so give us rep. I think that really it's just the vault tracks people.
Speaker 1:Yeah, more than anything. Yes, yeah, I don't think that she, it's just the vault tracks People.
Speaker 2:Yeah, more than anything. Yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't think that she needs the full.
Speaker 2:Yes, she does.
Speaker 1:Oh, cause her voice is different? I?
Speaker 2:want to hear debut with adult Taylor voice.
Speaker 1:That's fair yeah.
Speaker 2:Here in teardrops on my guitar with her like adult voice.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's fair I want it.
Speaker 3:And like, our song is a slamming screen door.
Speaker 1:I want it. I was in the pool yesterday getting a little bit of sun, very good, and I listened to I didn't have my phone next to me so it was just like playing in my headphones and I had like taylor radio playing and the all too well 10 minute version came on and I listened to it in full and, wow, so depressing so sad so sad.
Speaker 2:I'm actually in a good place right now and I don't want to be listening to this.
Speaker 1:Like I'm sad, yeah, anyway, okay, well, that's that on that.
Speaker 2:That's all that and that. Sorry guys, this is pop culture news and I have to share it. Hold the presses. Yes, I was in Manhattan beach for the 4th of July. Not once, not twice, but three times I stood next to an Amanda Bynes and Amanda Bynes.
Speaker 1:What'd she smell like?
Speaker 2:Didn't quite catch the scent.
Speaker 1:That's good, but she didn't smell badly then.
Speaker 2:No Three sightings of Amanda. She lives right there in Manhattan beach. And she was on the beach with everyone. She was well. We had like walked by the ice cream shop to go home, hugged the person she was with, goodbye. What was she wearing? Don't, I didn't clock the outfit, but it's just like very sad. You like look at her and you go, just like with Brittany, we fucking failed this girl.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And we but she's like the group I was with was like. I just want to say to her we believe you.
Speaker 1:I know is like doing things that she likes to do. She doesn't seem as manic, right? But she. We've just lost her because, again, just like with britney, she was on copious amounts of lithium yeah and it's ruined her brain yeah, but she's doing nails right or hair or something and she's like having a good time that I don't know I think she does like nails now oh, and she does art.
Speaker 2:She didn't look like she didn't look like she was happy with someone.
Speaker 1:Yeah, well, that's exciting I mean what a sighting. Wow, you should have led with that.
Speaker 2:And then also then saw Freddie and Harry.
Speaker 1:Oh, our friends. Yeah, our friends. That is Freddie Prince Jr.
Speaker 2:So I saw Freddie, I was like Freddie and he was like the first thing out of his mouth. You'll always be my coach.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's right. Yes, very cute. Okay, oh my gosh, you guys. Sorry, I ordered a little boo-boo. I don't have it yet. How? Where what you can't wear those on eBay oh you went eBay. I don't have it yet, but you guys next. I think it gets here in like three days.

Speaker 1:You unboxes a. Labubu yes, okay, okay, thanks for listening.
