Cold Open: Jeans And Accents

SPEAKER_01

Are these jeans new or old?

SPEAKER_02

Um not new. I don't remember the last time I bought new things like this.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Because jeans are the worst.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I feel like uh I feel like I've had jeans like that. Like that wash and are they stretchy?

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I feel like they look like a pair of jeans that I've had.

SPEAKER_02

I think they're probably from ASOS or something.

SPEAKER_01

ASOS? ASOS.

SPEAKER_02

I don't like ASOS.

SPEAKER_01

I think the the British I think that the British YouTubers I follow say ASOS.

SPEAKER_02

My old Australian friend pronounced Adidas Adidas.

SPEAKER_01

Adidas, yeah. I think they do in the UK too. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

Viral Haunted House Clip Blows Up

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, hello. Hi. How's it going?

SPEAKER_02

Good. Your boy went viral.

SPEAKER_01

You did?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. 20 million.

SPEAKER_01

For which?

SPEAKER_02

For Game Trying Haunted House on TikTok. The trailer you guys No, the the like clip of us getting suffocated.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

20 million on TikTok, 2 million on Instagram.

SPEAKER_01

Love.

SPEAKER_02

Got a bunch of followers, got L A D Bible to reach out, they're gonna repost it.

SPEAKER_01

Nice. I think it's Lad Bible.

SPEAKER_02

But it's L dot A dot D dot, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I thought I've always thought it was Lad Bible.

SPEAKER_02

Lad Bible?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's like boys, it's a boys thing.

SPEAKER_02

It's a boys thing?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

All I know is I see their videos that they repost and they're gonna Well their thing says.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I guess it doesn't say how to pronounce it, but I just thought it was Lad Bible. But I think it's because news, entertainment, UK news, US news Bible. Like yeah, like a lad.

SPEAKER_02

It's British, like a lad. Yeah. Lad Bible.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, thanks, LAD Lad Bible.

SPEAKER_01

That's cool. I didn't I watched that, but I didn't see the amount of it.

SPEAKER_02

It happened overnight. We went to bed, it wasn't performing super well. We woke up and it was at two million overnight. And let's just say that specific part of the haunted house has attracted a lot of erotic asphyxiation fans.

Intro And Dylan’s First Brush With Hate

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well, I want to talk about that, but let's do the intro and then get into it. Welcome back to the A-list podcast with Allison and Alex. I'm Alison. He's Alex.

SPEAKER_02

Hey guys.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, I just felt like we would go on for too long if we didn't really um introduct introduct. Introduced.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Get into the intro. Stay a prayer for Dylan. He is dealing with his first I mean, this is his first round of ever dealing with any kind of internet notoriety. And it's tough. It's bad. And it's wild how like I've always known this, but it's like I'm getting no comments. Like people are not referencing me at all. They are dragging the fuck out of him in a way that is really upsetting. I'm getting a tough one. Should I reach out? Yeah, I mean, you are an internet personality who deals with this shit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, he's very sick today. So he's because I was gonna try to have him be on, but we'll do it, we'll try it when he's not sick, because we we do not want to get sick.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_02

Um I'm getting a lot of followers from him. I'm like, I've gained like 500 followers on Instagram. He's gained six. So he gets all the hate. People are commenting the most about him. No one's saying shit about me, but they're on the back end following you.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The internet is here, though.

SPEAKER_02

I will say some of my favorite, a couple of my favorite comments. One of them was um, what do we have here? Twinkie and hoho, two of my favorite snacks.

SPEAKER_01

I like that one. You guys could be that for Halloween.

SPEAKER_02

But the the amount of pictures, gifts, emojis of a honey-baked ham in saran wrap, just referencing Dylan is mind-blowing.

SPEAKER_01

Well, just to make him feel better if he's listening to this, I just saw a comment today of someone saying uh something uh I posted on uh a YouTube short, I think, and Caleb was kind of in front of me a little bit, and someone said, Oh, stop covering Allison. And someone said, That's the stupidest take I've ever heard on the internet. She should be covered more.

SPEAKER_02

People suck.

SPEAKER_01

So also though, tell him I feel for him, and if he needs to reach out or if he needs any advice. I don't have any other than I'm sure he'll want to talk about it on the pod because it's not. It's gonna keep happening, and it's not ever fun.

Coping With Comments And Mental Health

SPEAKER_02

He is freaking out. Like the obviously the goal was to like go viral. We are now like one of the top performing videos at the company right now. But he was like, I genuinely wasn't panicked until we went viral, and then I was like, Oh my god, this sucks. There's a lot of in a lot of ways it sucks. And I'm like, sure, it sure does.

SPEAKER_01

But like he has so I'm not very good at this. I am good to an extent, and it's just you can't look at the comments, and he will just and especially because of BuzzFeed, you maybe can have someone on the team, or I guess you go through and like and comment or whatever to engage, but it can just be his conscious effort to not look.

SPEAKER_02

That just won't happen because he's the head of marketing, like he's going to always be in there. And I said this is because I said this to him. I was like, try to avoid comments. He's like, I'm not gonna do that because he just knows himself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean every once in a while. I just replied to someone also today to something. I think it was actually not even about me, it was about Caleb. Oh, someone comments uh commented on one of my again YouTube shorts, yeah, and said, I identify him as a woman, and there and and so I hate this. Or like some alluding to they He's feminine and I don't want to look at that. Yes, the way they said it was crazy. Like, I identify him as a woman, even though Caleb doesn't identify himself as a woman, obviously. Um, and so therefore this video sucks, basically, or this all of this is unwatchable, basically. And I was like, then like you can't identify him as a woman because he doesn't identify. I said I so I was like, identify yourself and like get the fuck out, basically. Yeah, people are wild, and it's never gonna stop. I I'm pretty good to an extent, and then there'll be one day that I look and then I spiral and have a breakdown.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I do encourage him to try at least try to go as long as he can.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And then also um get on a mood enhancer.

SPEAKER_02

I think he is on that and he is in therapy, so that's good. It's just like we were just talking last night how it's just so interesting that like obviously what's happening is the goal, and then something so good comes with so much bad. Like to watch the it's interesting too, like so clearly more conservative people on Instagram than on TikTok.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, Facebook.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because the comments are somewhere around like Instagram's comments are like, um, I would never do the go to this haunted house. Like, are you kidding? Why would you pay money to do this? That kind of thing. And then and then things that are like, we should tie up all the libs in there and leave it on for 10 minutes. It's like you literally just said we would kill people for their political abuse. Yeah. Um, and then of course, like all the references. A lot of people think that Dylan's an actual girl because he's not talking in that clip and he's in full drag. The comments when people argue about whether or not he's a girl, those are funny. Like he and I are looking at those, and it's like, these people like really listen, I'm gonna say this, and this is not I don't mean this as an insult to anyone specifically, but you really do realize how really out of touch most people are when you read the comments section of the video. Like, I would never comment on anything that gave me a reaction without seeing the context. Does this person post about this kind of thing a lot? What are they actually talking about? Oh, now I understand. Now I'm gonna comment. The amount of people that comment things without thinking or looking, it's like Well, I've never commented on a video that I didn't like ever. Oh, like you don't I never made comment either.

SPEAKER_01

I've responded when someone has left me a hate comment, but I have never seen a video and been like unsubscribed. Yeah, like I have watched a video before and been like, I hate what this person is saying. Like what they're saying is hateful or whatever. But I've never commented that. I've said it in my brain and I've kept scrolling. I've maybe blocked them or said I don't want to see this content anymore or something like that. But I don't know what it is. It's a narcissistic, I'm on the internet, and you have to have a I mean, you are too. We have to have a little bit of narcissism in our body. That's part of it. To want to be on the internet, want to be famous, quote, want to be performers, like whatever it is. Like, you have to have a little bit of narcissism in your body to like want to do that, I go, I guess, and to like be okay with putting yourself out there that way. But like, I think it's a narcissistic need for to be heard. And I don't know psychologically, I think we talked about that with the people commenting, oh, what was it, a few weeks ago when we were talking about oh, the people that comment commented on the bean soup. The bean soup.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Platform Culture: TikTok Vs Instagram

SPEAKER_01

But what can I use something, but except for beans. Yeah, like you just commented this so that people could see your engage, your comment there, and that someone would respond to you. So, like people commenting on videos hate comments. It is something psychological that I don't understand. It's the need to hurt someone, it's and feel some type of feeling in your body that you know, like, oh, I got them by saying that. I don't, I wish that I could someone I need a study done. I'm sure there have probably has been.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If you know about it, send it to me because I really am so interested in I've only ever commented good things.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, same.

SPEAKER_01

Congratulations, love this, ha ha, things like that. I feel compelled to comment because it is a positive right. Everyone feels positive in that scenario.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

But there's a the other side is you know you're hurting someone. And it's it is true, like the people who are doing that hate themselves for whatever reason. So the people that are commenting about your guys' sexuality, they're probably sorry, uh closeted person that hates themselves and wants to hurt you. Yeah. And I feel sorry for them, but it's I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Like it's it's psychologically, it's it's like a whole, there's there could be a whole study on that shit. Cause the way that people the bravery behind your phone and keyboard is yeah, wild.

SPEAKER_01

And I'll let them know that it's not gonna end. It might get better at some points or it might go through lulls.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, we're also still finding our audience, like our fan base will start to find itself.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I do think Buzzfeed, you're always gonna have randos.

SPEAKER_02

Always, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because I mean, obviously, we always you we also have randos when we post something because when someone shares it that is your follower, but then it gets to people who are just following that person, they don't know us. So it's always gonna get to randos.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

Because and especially I think because Buzzfeed is so well known. It's not, I think sometimes we get the fitness marshal gets a pretty niche.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, right, yeah, following.

SPEAKER_01

And and sometimes we can nestle in there for a while, and then every once in a while something will hit the other side of the internet. I think Haley gets that a lot. Like she hits the other side of the internet a lot.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And men love to just like say things, you know.

SPEAKER_02

Men love to say things.

SPEAKER_01

Men love to say things. But anyway, watched the video, had a great time. Thank you. Will never go there myself. For the sole fact of the spiders and the cockroach.

SPEAKER_02

I will also say watching it again too. It's like I maybe would have been more scared if I was actually going through without full production lighting. Yeah. Because I was like, oh, that also definitely played into me be like I could see everything. And normally those rooms are very dark.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, but we I mean, we are getting their page a lot of traction right now.

SPEAKER_01

I will say that you telling me about it last week made it sound scarier and more intense than I think the video or the editing of the video portrays. Like it does come across less scary and more fun and chaotic. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

But it yeah, and I I think that's what I mean is I was I was like, this is very much brighter than the actual experience you have. We had a guide as well. Like they're not, you never see them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But they were they were here's some BTS. They were coming up to us before we would go into each room to say what was about to happen so that the camera crew could prepare. And only like two rooms did Jill and I not hear.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Like the spinning room of all rooms to not give us a heads up, we have camera equipment.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that was pretty good. I don't think they thought about that.

unknown

No.

Behind The Scenes Of The Haunted House

SPEAKER_01

Because you price probably had bigger cameras than I think maybe other people who like vloggers.

SPEAKER_02

Vloggers, yeah. We did. We had two big rigs, but whatever the case, it's performing very well.

SPEAKER_01

And did sorry, Dylan was said mercy. Did they honor that? Because it sounded like they didn't. And I think that that is crazy.

SPEAKER_02

Well, he said mercy. Wait, which time like in the suffocation room?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I can't remember.

SPEAKER_02

There is a part of the video where he's screaming mercy where when they're trying to actively get us out of the room.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So I think it could have, but yes, he was screaming mercy in the suffocation room. But like they the thing that's it was like it's like 27 shop vax sucking the air out of they couldn't hear. That's so loud.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That is honestly the least of my like that one to me, I would be like I would do that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, because that was the other thing. The arguments, and I have to pause and say give a shout out to Angela real quick.

SPEAKER_01

Is she in the is she a warrior for you right now?

SPEAKER_02

No, Angela commented on Instagram something like, Why would you do this? And people are replying to her. Oh, I'm sure she loves. And she is replying back. The first reply, the first girl. Um, because sometimes people want to feel something. And Angela goes, dot dot dot, thanks. I didn't understand that. And then someone else commented and she was like, Cool. It's like, okay, yeah, because that is Yeah, like that is there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And they don't know that she knows you and that you know how she's saying that.

SPEAKER_02

This is where I this is where I I double down on. I do not comment on anything. Like, yeah, let's say I was a commenter, which I'm not, and I saw someone comment on a viral video like that, saying something like, Well, Angela said, Why would you do that? I would click on the person, see if they follow the account that they commented on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And if they do, I mean immediately if I cared enough to even do that, that's the step I would do.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, she follows this guy, they know each other.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. And because you can't hear tone through it, like she the way she said that, like, as a friend, you can hear the tone in which she said it. And which also she's uh just went through. I don't I won't say it right now, but I'm gonna get permission maybe for next week to tell the story that Angela is um just had a funny story with a realtor or something like that. Oh, and I want to tell it, but I'll ask her and maybe funny, put a pin in it. It's random, but yeah, I don't know. Though those were my takeaways that it sounded scarier of you telling me what happened than the edit actually looked. I can't believe that Dylan left that cockroach in his pocket.

SPEAKER_02

Well, he didn't.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay. I thought you said that it was in the pocket when you guys went outside.

SPEAKER_02

We out of that room.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I thought you meant like actually to the car.

SPEAKER_02

No, out of that room. Because by the way, these cockroaches are hand painted with glow in the dark paint.

SPEAKER_01

No, I literally would have been screaming, crying, throwing up, do not touch me with that. Mercy, I swear to God, if you touch me with that cockroach, I will actually punch you in the face.

SPEAKER_02

Worse than Tarantch?

SPEAKER_01

No, both. No, both. I would be like, Mercy, I'm not kidding. This isn't a joke. Do not touch me with those things. I could do everything else.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I had a mercy necklace on and they still with the cockroaches.

SPEAKER_01

That's not okay.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I know. I know.

SPEAKER_01

I told I don't know if I told you in real life, but I don't know if I told the video. Um, there was a group of vloggers that also went to do that. They didn't even make it in to do it because before they could even sign the waivers, someone came up behind them and tased them like actually in their butthole before they signed the waiver. And they were like, We're not doing this because they were going like I think before it opened.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And like going through it as a regular patron, but it was, I think, like the hour before they opened. And the people, I think, partially when they know it's being filmed, they're they turn it up, turning it up, and they're not doing maybe what they would do to a normal patron.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, literally the guy fell to the floor and he's like, I'm not doing this. Like, you guys just actually violated me. Like, that was crazy. Yeah. Not even like, you know, the hip, like the butt cheek. No, he was like, it was actually butt crack, like in the middle.

SPEAKER_02

I got teased in the ass as well, though.

SPEAKER_01

What is it with them?

SPEAKER_02

Well, mine they couldn't have seen me because I went down a hallway where they were sticking their hands out of like holes in the wall, and I was just like happened to be like jump dancing through that hallway, and they got me right in the tush.

Consent, Mercy Safe Words, And Safety

SPEAKER_01

I would do a bunch of things, but like it just doesn't it doesn't sound fun to me that they don't listen, they don't take right. That part is the mercy part seriously. That's not fun to me then.

SPEAKER_02

And that what they didn't do to us, but we found out after, by the way, the suffocation room leaning against that electrocutes you as well. But they didn't turn that on for us.

SPEAKER_01

It's only 10 seconds, so like 12. 12. That one doesn't bother me.

SPEAKER_02

And like everyone's like, what if it malfunctions? But like it's just plastic. Like if it malfunctioned, they just cut it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Like I wasn't I was worried because Dylan started to freak out, and so then I freaked out. I was like, what if this man passes out? What if you're gonna do it?

SPEAKER_01

But then you would just pass out. Well, that, but it's not long enough to like actually die.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And there was a couple rooms we didn't show just for can you tell me after? They're just like no, I can say it. One of the rooms was like we actually like you, they handed us guns and we like obliterated these like clowns. You shoot these clowns.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02

And if you don't hit the clown, then then the gun is like attached to a thing and you get electrocuted. It's like shoot them or get electrocuted. And it was just decided to like not include that because it was just a little bit like yeah, random. Also, the rumor, like the wind tunnel, the funniest room in the whole thing. So she told us that so that's that system is like four jet um propellers, and only one was operational. Can you imagine if the other three she's like, yeah, normally you're literally like flying up in the air. And you if you watch it, you can see the the actor is flying up in the air.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

But imagine three more fans at that.

SPEAKER_01

No, I think that that would give me anxiety in like a overstimulated.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, my skirt was flying.

SPEAKER_01

Cute. Were you wearing shorts?

SPEAKER_02

I was not, I was wearing briefs underneath.

SPEAKER_01

Cute.

SPEAKER_02

I was gonna do a jock strap, and then I was like, I'll be a little more appropriate.

SPEAKER_01

Give him a show. Well, congrats. What when does the next one come out?

SPEAKER_02

So the newest episode came out on this past Friday, you guys, and it's called I don't know what the title of the video is because they they A B test everything, but it's us fishing. So gay and trying fishing is fine with the video.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, I thought that was the finale. You moved it again?

SPEAKER_02

It got moved yesterday um because they realized the matchmaking video has too many con too many pieces that it's gonna take long in the edit. And it ended up coming together in a very nice way that it will make a good finale. And our editor was like stressed. So they're like, okay, let's just do phishing because it's only got two more edits to do.

SPEAKER_01

Is there one in between? So it goes fishing and then matchmaking.

SPEAKER_02

Matchmaking, yeah. And then we're switching to a short form show. We're basically gonna keep doing gay and trying, but then it's gonna be short form.

SPEAKER_01

Um like a video a week, but we're just gonna stuff that's in-house, like sort of like the first one.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, even easier. But then Dylan leaves for six weeks to Asia, so we'll get a nice I'll get a nice break. Thank God. I'm so tired. But um gay and trying fishing, and it has a really funny ending, so go check it out, you guys.

SPEAKER_01

I'm excited. I finished my book, The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore. Finally.

SPEAKER_02

This book has a three-episode arc in our show.

SPEAKER_01

And I gave it two stars, it sucked.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry, you actually gave it a rating?

SPEAKER_01

Oh, on Goodreads.

SPEAKER_02

So you don't do hate comments, but you will give a bad rating.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, do you not use goodreads? You don't read really.

SPEAKER_02

I don't read, I listen.

SPEAKER_01

Goodreads is an app for book readers.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, it's just like a it's like giving uh like a review on a product on Amazon. It's so people know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so people can follow me on there if you want. I'm not is it one book, this series, or was it like No, there's like six books out right now.

SPEAKER_02

Are they all connected?

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm. And it's called the So the first one was Pumpkin Spice Latte Cafe. The Pumpkin Spice Cafe.

SPEAKER_02

And you read only that one?

SPEAKER_01

The series is called Dream Harbor.

SPEAKER_02

And you've read only one?

SPEAKER_01

No, I've read two now. I read the Pumpkin Spice Cafe and the Cinnamon Bun Bookstore.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. This is what the Hello?

SPEAKER_02

Can you please read me the other titles? I just gotta know. I was this written by AI, do you think?

Editing Choices And Wild Rooms We Cut

SPEAKER_01

Well, the girl has a face, Lori Gilmore.

SPEAKER_02

Is it a real face?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry. Lori Gilmore.

SPEAKER_01

We've already talked about this.

SPEAKER_02

But did we talk about how Lori sounds a lot like Rory?

SPEAKER_01

And Lorelei. I think she put I think it's a pseudonym. I think she put them together because she's clearly a fan of.

SPEAKER_02

Is she AI?

SPEAKER_01

No, I think she just like made a pseudonym because she she all these books are very Gilmore girls called it. Gilmore Girls coded.

SPEAKER_02

And I need to hear the other titles.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, let me tell you.

SPEAKER_02

Did you finish over the weekend, by the way?

SPEAKER_01

No, I finished it not last night, but the night before. Um Monday.

SPEAKER_02

Sunday.

SPEAKER_01

Sunday. Oh yeah, Sunday. Okay. The next one is The Christmas Tree Farm.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, you should read it.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna read that in December. I need a break because this one was pretty bad.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And it made me feel stupid. Although, like, there was some smut. There was you know, it was it came together in the end. Honestly, it ended on a an up swing of like, okay, the romance came together. It was a cute little ending.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

In the middle, it was going back and forth. Like the short, the short of it is there's this girl, she's about to turn 30. She's very like grandma-esque. Like, she doesn't do anything, she doesn't go out, she's so boring. And she before she turned 30, she wanted like an adventurous summer. She wanted to like do things she would never do. And she recruits.

SPEAKER_00

Sorry.

SPEAKER_01

She recruits this guy who's a like the fisherman of the town. And he has always flirted with her. And so she recruits him to help her have a fun summer. Okay. And there's like a little bit of a mystery in quotes because it's so dumb of someone's leaving her these clues, and they're like to do things that she wouldn't normally do. And so they're doing it, and the whole middle part was just they're both their back and forth. They both are have feelings for each other, they both are in love with each other, but he doesn't normally have long-term relationships, and he just like has flings with these girls who come, you know, bachelorette parties that go on the boat for the weekend or whatever. And she is afraid of commitment and afraid of Tales all this time. So they're both in her monologue is like, I love you, I want to tell you, but I know that it's not gonna last, so I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna enjoy the moment. And they're both, I'm every chapter was this same loop.

SPEAKER_00

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Something happens, and I love you, but I'm not gonna say it, and so I'm just gonna not, and then the next chapter, the same loop. And I was like, get me off of this. Yeah, ride. But it did end up, it ended on a nice.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry, are they each something something cafe?

SPEAKER_01

No. The first one was this is the cinnamon bun bookstore.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, bookstore. It was pumpkin spice cafe, yes, pumpkin cinnamon roll bookstore, cinnamon bun bookstore, cinnamon bun bookstore.

What’s Next For Gay And Trying

SPEAKER_01

The Christmas tree farm, which they did set up, like, because that is the next one, and they did set up like the girl who obviously is gonna be the protagonist in that. Um the next one is the strawberry patch pancake house from the world, the gingerbread bakery, the Daisy Chain Flower Shop. What? Um, the apple pie ice cream parlor. That is AI. And why don't we just say the ice cream? I don't know. Could be better. And then there's some no, that's it. That's it for now.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So I am gonna read the Christmas tree farm because although I rated it two stars, I do see myself giving it a try.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I need a break.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So I think I'm gonna read a new fantasy series.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, I'm excited for you.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

What else did you do over the weekend? Did you hang with Josh's mom?

SPEAKER_01

I did. We had a couple days where we went uh shopping. Did you take our macarons? I did not. Yeah, we went shopping one day because he needed a few things. We went to the outlets, the not the Citadel, the ones the other direction. Camarillo.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And then on Sunday we went to his work and the drama department was putting on a kids' variety show.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my, how was it?

SPEAKER_01

So we went to watch that.

SPEAKER_02

How was it?

SPEAKER_01

A kids' variety show. It was musical numbers, like from musicals. Yeah. And some of the songs, you know.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Are classics. Uh Step in Time from Fitler. Or nope, Mary Poppins. Why did I say Fitler? Things like that.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, you know, because Stepping Time on the Roof. That's why you thought that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. The time warp, things like that.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

Book Rant: Cinnamon Bun Bookstore

SPEAKER_01

You know, classics. But it was a kid's variety show. Yeah, yeah. But it was cute. It was cute. And then I oh, I'm just gonna go through my list because I can't remember. I watched okay, so I have fallen off of watching Dancing with the Stars, but I wanted to watch The Wicked week.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I heard it was good.

SPEAKER_01

It was good, and I cried. Um, my favorites were Robert Irwin, he did Dancing Through Life, he was so cute.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh Elaine Hendricks did Define Gravity, and she they put her up on a thing. She did like not dance for like a good amount of time while they were putting her on the lift. So it was kind of like okay, you kind of didn't dance for the whole thing, but it was very because she her whole package at the beginning was she's having a hard time. She had gotten some bad, she had gotten positive reviews the week before, but then she got like bad scores and she was very confused by that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And then she was talking how she's been struggling, she's struggling because she had some accident that caused her to get like titanium rod or rods in her foot.

SPEAKER_00

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

And so like half of one of her feet, like she can't really feel, and so it like affects like the way she moves. And so it's like sometimes she's off balance because of that, I guess. And so she was like very emotional about that. And the whole package was like her, like kind of stumbling through the dance, and like it it came off like she wasn't gonna get it, yeah. And then she like nailed it, and um, Chessie from the parent from the parent trap, she's been there every week because they're best friends, and that's so freaking cute. Yeah, and they pan to her after the final no of Define Gravity, and she's bawling, and so then it made me cry, and then Carrie Ann was crying. Oh my god, and it was just so cute. So I think she's really good. I don't know if she has the fan base to vote for her to win, you know?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Cause we still have so after Wicked Night, um, Pentatonics went home. What's his name?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, Roger. Jake, Chris. Nope. Alan.

SPEAKER_01

Nope. The tall one.

SPEAKER_02

Rick.

SPEAKER_01

These are the most Scott. Scott Hoing, yes. He went home after Wicked Night. Okay. So we still have Andy Richter who gay went home after Wicked Night?

SPEAKER_02

That's bad.

SPEAKER_01

He bless his soul.

SPEAKER_02

He beat He didn't Andy Richter beat him?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I think he has he has this like sweet old man.

SPEAKER_02

Did he dance to Hi I'm a Sentimental Man?

Weekend Recaps And DWTS Wicked Night

SPEAKER_01

I thought he was going to. But he's something like, oh, it was one short day. Like it was like boring. Some of the people, like Daniel Fischel got um, No one mourns the or uh No Good Deed. No good deed, which is a great song, but to dance to it was weird. I don't know. It was a weird vibe. So I felt bad for some of the people who got like kind of the worst songs. Um and then Whitney Levitt, who is one of the Mormon wives. She's the oh yeah. There's two of them. Whitney is like so good. Like she's the best dancer, I think, of the show. And I would love if she won, I would be happy. She's like, I feel like giving Heather Morris a little bit of what Heather Morris should have gotten. The problem is that, yeah, I don't know what Heather just was on a season before people decided, oh, we don't care anymore. Because Charlie D'Amelio should have never won then. Jojo Siwa shouldn't have, I don't know if she won or if she just got to the end. She won. She won. Yeah. Like all these people who are dancers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But Heather was right before the cusp of people.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

People were still like mad about that at that time. And she just didn't have the fan base to keep her there. And I don't know, people were like so annoyed that she was a professional dancer, even though she wasn't a professional ballroom dancer, which I don't think that anyone has ever been a professional ballroom dancer and been on this show.

SPEAKER_00

Right.

SPEAKER_01

But now they don't care. It's like if they are good, check. Like we want to watch them dance. And I wish that she had justice and could come back on. Yeah. But Whitney reminds me of her because she I don't think she's probably as good of a technical dancer, but she just looks flawless. Like she just everything looks so easy to her. So I would be happy, honestly, with either three of those winners. Robert, Whitney, Elaine.

SPEAKER_02

Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And then oh, I have decided I have some like actual headlines we can talk about. But the last thing about me is I just wanted to let you know that I've decided I want to start a Christmas village.

SPEAKER_02

What do you mean?

SPEAKER_01

Um, you know, like on the table.

SPEAKER_02

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

I think like this is the year I want to start. And maybe every year just actually. No.

SPEAKER_02

It's funny because over the weekend I saw Christmas Village at boyfriend's grandmother's house, and I was like, I'm gonna put my village up this year.

SPEAKER_01

Where are you gonna put it?

SPEAKER_02

That I don't know. Because it does need to be plugged in, so I'm thinking either around this TV down here.

SPEAKER_01

Oh cute. Um I feel like it's gonna get in the way of the TV.

SPEAKER_02

No, it's not they're not tall pieces. The houses are sl are slight. Okay, but they do light up. And I have fake snow, so they would kind of be around the.

SPEAKER_01

Could it fit on top of that?

SPEAKER_02

I got a full village. I want to say like 10 to 12 shops and homes, along with like scenescapes and brick brick walkways and figurines. Um but I do think I want to put it up. There's also that space upstairs on that white cabinet by my that I was like.

SPEAKER_01

Why don't you break it up and put a little right here?

SPEAKER_02

And then no, because people I that's where my sadness for inanimate objects comes in. What about the snowman and these playful kids? You can't break them up. I could I could trade them out like every other day, I suppose. Something to think about. But I love this journey for you. Where are you gonna get your village from?

SPEAKER_01

Well, I saw a cute one at Michael's.

SPEAKER_02

What do you mean a cute one? Was it a cute one?

SPEAKER_01

A cute little house, no.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, you're gonna start a village. Meaning this year you're gonna buy one home and like build on it every year.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I thought about yeah, because I thought it'd be a cute thing. And then like as if I have kids, like then it's like we pick one out, and it's just like every year you get here's my only suggestion.

SPEAKER_02

Do your research so that you can because look at the ones there's like three or four. I know of three. Three that are have been around forever, they're always releasing new ones. Like they look like they're from the same they all look like they live in Dream Harbor, correct? Yes. So pick pick your brand and then remain loyal. Or wood or and their their vibes are just different.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. What if I okay that could be fun for?

SPEAKER_02

You're putting up a Christmas village. That's very irregular.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

It should be pristine.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Are you wanting to get ones that have like moving things?

SPEAKER_01

Like not to start.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, I was thinking I find like a house or one structure.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And then I get a few trees or set a little scene. Yeah. But that's it. Like I don't, I'm not gonna undertake spending a bunch of money and getting a like trying to build the whole village this year. I want it to be like, oh, we get a piece every year, a new building.

SPEAKER_02

That is something I would like to do because my Christmas village is all from Dollar Tree.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Because they sell miniature ceramic Christmas villages.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And they would for a while, they would do new pieces to that same village every year.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Well, if I get if I decide what I want it to be made out of, I do still think at Michael's they had like a whole wall of just like mini accessories.

SPEAKER_02

Street lamps.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Chickens. I have a chicken.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, cute. Yeah, I think like I'll do the in my that table that's on my entryway that's kind of thin. I think I'll do that. I'll just put a little bed of snow, whatever you call that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, big snow, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And just like have my one little guy there and I love that. We'll see. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe it's no, it's happening. Okay. You can commit to one.

SPEAKER_01

You must, yeah. So yeah, that's really Okay, cute. That was my weekend.

SPEAKER_02

Nice. I went to the desert, I met boyfriend, more of a boyfriend's family, had a lovely time, um, found out some exciting news. I will finally be going to New York for the first time.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. I forgot that didn't happen.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm not going with boyfriend anymore.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, what is happening?

SPEAKER_02

And now I'm going to the wicked premiere.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, with work?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. I get to go to the red carpet premiere and I get to watch it afterward.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So I get to go to the wicked premiere.

SPEAKER_01

How long are you gonna be there?

SPEAKER_02

I th the premiere is on a Monday. So they will fly us in Sunday and fly us back Tuesday, so it'll be quick. Um trying to think. They're definitely gonna have us like we're going as press, so it's gonna be it's Monday, November 17th. Okay, 14th.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe if you can pick your flight, try to get like the earliest one you can possibly get, or like a red eye from here, so that you might be able to see a different show on Sunday night.

SPEAKER_02

A different show. Oh, like a Broadway show. Because Broadway's closed on Mondays.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But I mean, we'll see. They just gave it the green light and asked if I would go.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Or you could try to do a matinee on Tuesday before if you could a late flight out there.

SPEAKER_02

True, true, true.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I feel like if you're going, you have to try to see a show.

unknown

I know.

SPEAKER_02

So we'll see. But I was like, okay, that's exciting.

SPEAKER_01

That is exciting.

Desert Trip And NYC Wicked Premiere

SPEAKER_02

So I still get to go into New York in November, but now it's to see the wicked premiere.

SPEAKER_01

Fun.

SPEAKER_02

So now we have they want us to prepare, like, because we're gonna get like because of the size of this premiere, the way that it press works on them, these huge premieres, is like specific celebs will go. It's not just like like the premiere we did last week was smaller. They kind of just go down the line until they're like, all right, time to start the movie. What was that movie? Regretting You.

SPEAKER_01

So I didn't even know that you did that.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah, regretting you premiere. They just were walking down the line until they're like, We're about to start, everyone leaves. But for this one, it's like Cynthia and Ariana and whatever the celebs are agreed to be interviewed by BuzzFeed. So we know we will know who's gonna come talk to talk to Joyce. So we're preparing those kinds of things.

SPEAKER_01

That's actually nice, so that you can like fully get some good, solid questions that now the same thing was supposed to happen at the AMAs, and we didn't get to talk to like three of the main people, but that was also like far more it's the AMAs, it's like a billion people that are being honored.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, whereas this is like just the main cast and John Chu. So I'm excited.

SPEAKER_01

That is exciting. I'm excited for you.

SPEAKER_02

But yeah, the desert, as it turns out, is cold. It was cold at night, and I love the but I love the desert.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, what were you gonna say? Was that what you were gonna say?

SPEAKER_02

I went what I was going to say, but worded it wrong was turns out I do still love the desert. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say, was there some a new thing?

SPEAKER_02

So it's basically like where we went was a little past Acton, so maybe like 40 minutes past Palmdale. So it's like through Santa Clarita onward, right? Desert, like Joshua trees everywhere, kind of a thing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But they have a little town. So his dad and stepmom live there, like on some acreage in just the desert. But then close to there is where his sister lives, and it that that town looks like Big Bear.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, cute.

SPEAKER_02

And it was the cutest little town. So we're going back for Christmas.

SPEAKER_00

Cute.

SPEAKER_02

And we're gonna stay in that little town. And this time we stayed with his parents, but his sister is gonna stay there over Christmas. So we're gonna get a there's they have these little cabins, so we're just gonna stay at a little cabin in the little like Big Bear town.

SPEAKER_01

Love that. I've thought about before doing like one of those like Airbnb's in Joshua Tree. Yeah, it just feels so scary at night, it's too vast, and there's too many animals.

SPEAKER_02

You're talking about those ones that are literally like plopped in the middle of nowhere, part of the pictures are like an aerial view showing nothing around.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I've never seen one like that. I've used I've stayed in Joshua Tree, but there's always stuff around.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I've like thought I've thought maybe that could be fun before, but then I'm also like, we're so far like away from what if we need help? What if a crazy man tries to break in?

SPEAKER_02

Or woman.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Crazy person.

SPEAKER_02

Crazy person. Anyway.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

That was my week, Ann.

SPEAKER_01

Good. I'm excited for you. Okay, a few updates we have. Okay. The Louvre heist.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There have been arrests made.

SPEAKER_02

Of course there have. There Did these people think they were gonna get away with it?

Headlines: Louvre Heist And Matthew Perry Case

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. They kind of did for a minute. Like it was You're right. It took a few minutes. So two sp two suspects have been arrested over the theft of the press precious crown jewelry from the Louvre. The Paris prosecutor's office said one of the men had been taken into custody as he was preparing to take a flight from Charles de Gaulle airport. So he was trying to he almost got it. He was at the airport.

SPEAKER_00

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

And the Paris prosecutor's office said in a statement that the arrests had been made on Saturday evening without specifying how many people had been taken into custody. They were like upset that I don't know what they thought was gonna happen, but they released a statement and then all of these news publications started picking it up, and then all over the world, everyone knew this. And then they were like, oh, like we wish we hadn't put it out there. It's like, well then, duh, what do you mean?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Did you think that it was just gonna stay in the confines of Paris when this has been one of the biggest stories to happen in months? Like I don't know. So I assume because the other people who they're looking for now know and like maybe are able to hide a little bit better. I don't know. But they were they kind of retracted it and they were like, Oh, like we wish we hadn't said anything. It's like okay.

SPEAKER_02

Too late.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, what I don't know what you thought was gonna happen. So um, yeah, as of Tuesday, October 28th, it seems we've had two arrests and we'll see.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I don't remember exactly how many people it was. Was it five?

SPEAKER_02

I have no idea.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. And then in terms of arrests, yes, we have some arrests that have been made in connection with Matthew Perry's death.

SPEAKER_02

Which I thought two years ago yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

You would oh wow. Yeah. I thought you would find interesting.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's been two years.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so we have five people have been charged.

SPEAKER_02

I thought it was just the one. Who's assistant?

SPEAKER_01

As of today, uh, five. So let me give you a quick rundown. Okay. So Kenneth Iwamasa was the personal assistant of over 25 years. He has been arrested. Then we have Dr. Mark Chavez, who never met Perry Department of Justice spokesman. Okay, I'm not gonna skip that. Chavez provided Placentia with the ketamine given to Perry through a fraudulent prescription, according to a document outlying the allegations against him. So this is a doctor who gave him the um prescription. Yeah. Eric Fleming distributed the ketamine that killed Perry. According to his plea agreement, he was acquitted with Perry through a mutual friend. Acquainted, not acquitted, acquainted through a mutual friend. The agreement states without giving details. Fleming texted Perry on October 4th, 2023, offering to sell ketamine, and on October 10th, specifying liquid ketamine, but the plea agreement doesn't say if Perry responded either time. Fleming then stated texting Iwamasa on October 10th, and they began negotiating a price. Then we have Jasveen Songa, who authorities call the ketamine queen of North Hollywood. That is wild. My neighbor ran what amounted to a drug-selling emporium in her home. Fleming started reaching out to Song by mid-October to buy vials of ketamine on Perry's behalf, according to Fleming's plea agreement. Then we have Dr. Salvador Plasencia. About one month before Perry's death, he learned the actor was interested in purchasing ketamine and contacted Chavez. Um defendant saw this as an opportunity to profit off of Mr. Perry. The U.S. attorneys said Placencia wrote in a September 23 text messages I wonder how much this moron will pay. Wow. So these people have been arrested.

SPEAKER_00

Wild.

SPEAKER_01

And I guess it has taken them this long just to gather all the evidence. Good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I thought that was a nice update. Not nice, but we haven't talked about that in a minute. And at the time we did talk about it, like I don't think we knew really anything other than maybe his assistant.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Hell yeah.

Odd Presidential Facts And Miss Nancy

SPEAKER_01

Before we get into A-list of the week, I had a thing that I just thought you would think was interesting. Oh my god. Dude. I got this random TikTok.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

That hold on, I gotta go back to the beginning of it. You know, I love history. And the beginning of this TikTok was an interesting fact about every president of the United States.

SPEAKER_02

And you said, let me get some tea and sit down.

SPEAKER_01

No, you're not ready. I was just clicking through. And you know, some of it's kind of boring and no one cares. Although, like, it's it was interesting to me because some of the facts, and here's the thing didn't fact check fact check this. Don't know if any of this is real. Okay. The person that wrote this could have AI made everything up or from their top of their head made everything up. Okay. But for the purposes of this podcast right here, we're gonna pretend like it's real and this is all alleged. I didn't write these things.

SPEAKER_02

Copy that.

SPEAKER_01

But I'm just gonna read them from this TikTok that I did not make.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, okay, okay.

SPEAKER_01

But some of them, I'm just some of them I'm just was reading them thinking like these people were just elected, and they were just like our leaders, and it's like that's everything they say, they say is true. And I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

I I'm not um articulating very well, but it's just like they're just another human that now is in a position of power where we all know, okay.

SPEAKER_01

And like I think because of the climate of today, like some of these things would be used against either party as like they're unfit to be president. And it's like, was that still happening back then? Or was everyone just like, oh, these are like normal human things, and like we don't care about that part. We just want to make sure they're making good decisions for the country. You know what I mean? I don't know. So the first one, John Adams, was noted for his mood swings and emotional outbursts, which historians have attributed to a thyroid disease or Graves disease. Oh so obviously this was before, you know, this was in 1797. So now, knowing what we know, like he could have been medicated and probably wouldn't be having outbursts.

SPEAKER_02

Was that our third president? George Washington was the first UC. He wants a cherry tree president. Number two, will you? John Adams. Yes. Number two.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, then something we were talking about before we started filming. Yeah, Thomas Jefferson rewrote parts of the Bible, removing miracles and divine references, creating his own version, focused solely on the teachings of Jesus, which like actually doesn't sound bad. Focused just on the teachings of Jesus. But uh to catch you guys up without getting too deep, like we were talking about how all the different translations and versions of the Bible were the King James specifically, like he was just like He was obsessed with unicorns, so he had the word unicorn interchange with horse. He just said, you know, I'm gonna have my scribes rewrite this to fit what I wanted to say. And that's crazy. Yeah, like that is wild to me that that's just and now like the however many decades, centuries, whatever past people rewriting, it's just like, oh, that's the truth. And it's like, wait, who was he? Right. Who was King James to just make this decision? I don't know. It really honestly stresses me out to think about too much, but I thought that was fitting.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, let me get to the meat here. Oh, this was funny. John Quincy Adams swam naked in the Potomac River every morning. And then, like uh journalists would wait for him and interview him after. And I don't know if he was still naked or if he put a towel around him, but that's wild.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Could he not have just put in a cold bath? Okay, let me get to the one. The one the big one. James Buchanan. Have you ever heard anything about James Buchanan?

SPEAKER_02

No, but I know the name.

SPEAKER_01

He was the only president to never marry, and he lived for years with his friend, Senator William King. They were known as Miss Fancy and Aunt Fancy.

SPEAKER_02

So they have had a gay president.

unknown

Yeah. A couple.

SPEAKER_01

I went down. I have to read more on this because I was like, give me all of this information. 175-year-old history of speculating about President James Buchanan's bachelorhood. This is a whole website that I need to read. I didn't get to. I will. But yeah, he basically Okay, no, I can't read this. But anyway, that was a fun fact that I was like wild, Aunt Fancy. Miss Nan, what was it?

SPEAKER_02

Miss Fancy and Aunt Fancy.

SPEAKER_01

Hold on. Where is this? Miss Nancy and Aunt Fancy.

SPEAKER_02

Miss Nancy and Aunt Fancy.

SPEAKER_01

And if every if people were saying that, like obviously they knew they were gay lovers.

SPEAKER_02

Of course.

SPEAKER_01

And it's just like let them let them be.

SPEAKER_02

Aunt Fancy.

A‑List Of The Week Picks

SPEAKER_01

Was this after um Lincoln? Who allegedly might be gay? Who knows?

SPEAKER_02

Is he Siri? James Buchanan was what president? James Buchanan was the 15th president of the United States.

SPEAKER_01

Two in a row? Wow. Hell yeah. Um yeah, I don't know. I can't get too far into this because I could read every one of them too, and they're obviously a lot, but I thought that one, that was fun history facts, and again, didn't write those, didn't fact check them.

SPEAKER_02

But I love it. Miss Nancy Aunt Fancy.

SPEAKER_01

So I want to get a book of James Buchanan ASAP.

SPEAKER_02

This is why my grandpa was so obsessed with history. Yeah and knew some things.

SPEAKER_01

Mm-hmm. Alright, are you ready for?

SPEAKER_02

It's time.

SPEAKER_01

Do I say it's time for? Okay, it's time for. A-list of the week. I don't know why that sound felt so easy.

SPEAKER_02

It's time for A-list of the week.

SPEAKER_01

Your voice tired.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

My A-list of the week is Nobody Knows This. Season two has come out. I know I probably said this last year when the first season came out.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And I've watched the first couple episodes and it is good. Did you watch the first season though? Uh-huh. Well, here we go.

SPEAKER_02

I was it was a sleepy show for me, but I watched it to like watch for Angela. Um, it's not that I didn't like it, it was just kind of sleepy. Like it didn't keep my attention. It's a girl, it's for girls.

SPEAKER_01

Well, uh, I think you should give it a chance.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna watch season two because like I love Kristen Bell so much.

Birthdays, Anniversaries, And Sign Off

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Side note, we never talked about the weird um photo thing that she was getting dragged for for their anniversary. Did you see all that drama? She posted this uh picture of her and Dax for their anniversary, and she quoted him something about like I need to quote it because I don't want to say it wrong. Okay, she posted a picture of them hugging, and it says, Happy 12th anniversary to the man who once said to me, I would never kill you. A lot of men have killed their wives at a certain point, even though I'm heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would. And people were like, What? And just and it was like tone deaf and all these things, and it was like they're just kind of weird, I think. I think they I think they just like are you know, they're funny people. They kind of went, you know, the Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds route, where they always they're never their posts aren't ever real like funny or real, or no, they're not ever serious and real. It's always like a weird, kind of like mean thing. I don't know. But I think that she was going down that route, and that is probably a funny banter between the two of them. But I don't think she thought about like the the world would be like that's weird. Is he gonna kill you? I don't know, but yeah, that was a like a couple weeks ago. I think that was the big drama.

SPEAKER_02

That is funny.

SPEAKER_01

What's your A list?

SPEAKER_02

Gay and trying, episode three, gay and trying fishing. It came out this past Friday. Until it's done. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

All right, we'll go check it out.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_01

I am not gonna lie to you, everyone. If you've made it to the end, I'm heavily dissociating.

SPEAKER_02

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Like I, my whole body is like vibrating right now.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. Maybe you're just heading to the fifth dimension.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know if it's anxiety or what. I feel like I've just been so open about my mental health these days that I just thought I would let everyone know that I feel like I can't make sentences. And you're doing great. And I am heavily dissociating. So I'm gonna tell you these birthdays.

SPEAKER_02

Wrap it up.

unknown

SPEAKER_01
