SPEAKER_03:

This mirror case on my phone lets me see myself and what I look like.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh. You look so collegiate.

SPEAKER_03:

Texas. Texas A and M.

SPEAKER_00:

I learned what A and M stands for.

SPEAKER_03:

Arts and music.

SPEAKER_00:

Nope.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

I think it's agriculture and manufacturing. I actually guess I didn't learn.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, you did and you forgot.

SPEAKER_00:

What does A and M stand for? Agriculture and Mechanical.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, okay. Well, here's the thing. I've learned to stop wearing it in public because people are really serious about this school.

SPEAKER_00:

Is that the that's not the Longhorns?

SPEAKER_03:

No, I got into an Uber when I got back from Columbia. And I got in and she was like, And I was like, Oh, you were supposed to do that back to her? I was like, I no. Sorry. She was like, oh, my bad, my son goes there. I was like, I don't.

SPEAKER_00:

She chanted to you. I got this from Would you know what to do for the ball state?

SPEAKER_03:

Chirp chirp.

SPEAKER_00:

Chirp chirp.

SPEAKER_03:

Heather's listening to this being like chirp chirp.

SPEAKER_00:

Um so weird.

SPEAKER_03:

What is chirp chirp?

SPEAKER_00:

Just like every different, every school's like thing. It's it's never like really cool.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Like oh.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

That's Ohio State, I think. Yeah. Wait, was I oh I we had a meeting for something for active booty today, and the guy they're located in Indiana, which is so how does this happen?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know. Weird.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know. But he went.

SPEAKER_03:

Did they give you the Hoosier discount?

SPEAKER_00:

I wish. Maybe. I don't know. He ended up going somewhere else, but then he finished at Purdue. And so we were like, Caleb went to IU, we went to Ball State, and we were like, well, Hoosiers.

SPEAKER_03:

Hoosiers. They find each other.

SPEAKER_00:

Hoosier. Um, you got a haircut.

SPEAKER_03:

Guys.

SPEAKER_00:

Just in case you're listening, everyone, if you want to see Alex got a haircut, you're gonna have to go to Instagram or here.

SPEAKER_03:

I got a haircut and I didn't do anything to it because your boy is sick.

SPEAKER_00:

And well, and a dye. A cut and a die.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, a die. I was like, no, I'm not gonna die.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm just sick.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, I was like, I blonde's too expensive to upkeep. I was not about to keep doing that. Yeah, it's too much. So I said, give me to my chocolate brown. And she went a little darker because you know, it always fades.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And then are you just gonna go my route with the Kristen S um gloss? Because I just did that yesterday.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, because now my haircut is cheap again. Like my haircut is$45.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And I am not above box dyeing or the gloss I feel like isn't as bad as box dye, right? Correct. Probably.

SPEAKER_03:

It's not. No, it's not.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That's and I do like overtone. Like I have overtone that I'll use sometimes because the thing with me, guys, as I've said a million times on this podcast, now that we're on episode, I don't know 240, but that's season two, episode 40.

SPEAKER_00:

Um I 90 something.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. I have so many gray hairs. So it's just expensive to upkeep.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Coloring that. So I have, you know, overtone is good.

SPEAKER_00:

I've used overtone before, but oh, the good thing about overtone is it can just be every shower conditioner. But I do like the Kristen esque. I do like the gloss.

SPEAKER_03:

I do like that too. Yeah. And then when it looks fresh when you first put it on.

SPEAKER_00:

I did it yesterday.

SPEAKER_03:

Shiny.

SPEAKER_00:

Although it is a terrible, it's afterwards, I have to scrub my scrub.

SPEAKER_03:

Also, your fingernails, at least for me.

SPEAKER_00:

Do you not wear the gloves?

SPEAKER_03:

I guess I'm they give you gloves. Well, my hands don't fit in those gloves. Um, okay I have big hands.

SPEAKER_00:

I have big hands.

SPEAKER_03:

You got a haircut too.

SPEAKER_00:

I did.

SPEAKER_03:

Look at us. We both got our haircuts. I when she was cutting my hair, she gave me a blunt bob first to like get rid of the like. I was like, you know what?

SPEAKER_00:

Did you like it?

SPEAKER_03:

I kind of it was like this is Brad Pitt from World War Z, because it is a blunt bob on him. I was like, maybe in the future. Now I know I took a picture so I can like see what it looks like.

SPEAKER_00:

It took you two years to grow out your hair?

SPEAKER_03:

About two and a half. Because remember, I started this podcast with a perm. What a journey.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, speaking of starting. Welcome back to the A-list podcast with Allison and Alex. I'm Alison. He's Alex. That was a good thing. Yeah. I was gonna say something before that, but then it came to me that we needed to do that. What was I gonna say? Now I've forgotten.

SPEAKER_03:

I started this podcast with a perm. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, did I tell you I told you I got I'd got a Halo extension, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, and that you tried it and it wasn't right.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so I'm waiting for it.

SPEAKER_03:

But I wanted to see it. Oh, you got another one.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, it's on yeah, I had I did a color match thing with the That was it.

SPEAKER_03:

It was a color difference.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, it was just that. I the length was good. It was just it wasn't dark enough. I'm so excited to see it.

SPEAKER_03:

So it's the clear.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I was like, it actually like the installation was pretty easy, although the back looked kind of sketchy, but I think that's just because I was not that would be a learning process.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

But the front, like you couldn't see the um string or whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

The fishing line.

SPEAKER_00:

And then yesterday I Amazoned myself some fake bangs, and I sent you a picture, and you did like it.

SPEAKER_03:

I believed it. Yeah, I said I got bangs. Yeah, so I was cute, I was stoked.

SPEAKER_00:

I was doing something for my vlog. I just thought it'd be funny. Like, I didn't I thought that Reagan might I don't know why I thought people would maybe say something, yeah, mad or like say something sketchy. Everyone was just nice, which is nice. I have nice friends, but I was like, oh prank, like I'm gonna like send a bunch of people these this picture and be like, I got bangs, and then get their reactions, and everyone was just like, they look good.

SPEAKER_03:

I I did have a follow-up ready.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

I was gonna say something like, You're lucky that this looks so good. What happened in your life that made you get bangs?

SPEAKER_00:

Well, you would have known. That's what Reagan was like. I also thought they were fake because like you wouldn't have made that decision without saying something.

SPEAKER_03:

See, and I didn't get that far, but I was like, oh, something something happened, but at least they look really good.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, they actually don't look bad, but I need to figure out how to keep them in because it does look like a toupee, like it's just a little too wiggly.

SPEAKER_03:

It was kind of like my Britney Spears bangs. My clippers.

SPEAKER_00:

I didn't even notice that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, remember I had pigtails and then.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I know you had that, but I didn't notice them looking.

SPEAKER_03:

I I mean it was blended pretty well, to be honest.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. For$9, you know, a fake uh I'm excited to see the halo.

SPEAKER_03:

How long, how long is it?

SPEAKER_00:

18 inches. It was like to here.

SPEAKER_03:

Cute. Is it like uh curly?

SPEAKER_00:

So I got a curly one and they gave me a straight one for free with that. So it's just gonna take probably like two weeks for me to get can't wait. The back.

SPEAKER_03:

Um in other news. Yeah. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, I was gonna say we hadn't talked about we recorded so early last week that we didn't talk about Halloween.

SPEAKER_03:

Right.

SPEAKER_00:

But did you do anything?

SPEAKER_03:

No, just slept so much.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, maybe it was a bus, maybe it was like a work thing. I feel like I saw pictures of you dressed up as something, but was it at work?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, I j there's just a costume area at work, and I put on a King Crab costume. But I was working, like we had a shoot.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03:

So I was literally just on my computer wearing that.

SPEAKER_00:

Love that.

SPEAKER_03:

That was not that was not a party, that was just work.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

And then Halloween, boyfriend, and I literally just laid in bed all day and watched movies, or night, I should say. We watched spooky movies.

SPEAKER_01:

What'd you watch?

SPEAKER_03:

What did we watch? Because we watched it and he didn't like it, and it turns out he can't really handle scary, which is cute, and that's okay. But I want to say it was some Oh, it was the new I Know What You Did last summer.

SPEAKER_00:

Wait, how have I not seen that?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know, it's on Netflix now.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my gosh. I need to watch it.

SPEAKER_03:

It's got, I mean, what a twist. I will say I was pretty stoked. Like story-wise, good, but he is he couldn't handle it. It was a little too graphic.

SPEAKER_00:

Did he know this about himself? Like, did he say, like, I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

It's kind of more sensitive over time.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Like, you know, the originals, they're kind of campy. This one is a little more, I guess, thrill horror.

SPEAKER_00:

I do I did notice that in the last scream movie. Like it was a little bit more graphic.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So it was good though. I do recommend it. It's on Netflix, so you should watch.

SPEAKER_00:

I would love to. Speaking of Scream, the trailer for the next movie came out. It doesn't come out until February, which is annoying.

SPEAKER_03:

I know, but that's what the last one came out in February too. So random.

SPEAKER_00:

But it's like maybe just because it doesn't have other competition. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

We got Nate Campbell back though.

SPEAKER_00:

I know I'm excited. It's exciting.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I'm very excited about that.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, I was gonna say something else. I talked about I do also think that I'm a little bit more sensitive to things, but it's for specific things. And remember, I said at the Edgean story, I couldn't. Did I tell you this? Was it on camera? Yes, yes, it was on camera, yes. I couldn't watch anymore. Did you try watching it?

SPEAKER_03:

No, no, no, no. I jumped right into All's Fair.

SPEAKER_00:

I heard that was pretty bad, huh?

SPEAKER_03:

I'm gonna watch every episode. The fashion badass lady. It's insane. And like Kim's acting is bad, atrocious.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But she looks insane.

SPEAKER_00:

But like Sarah Pulson. You know?

SPEAKER_03:

Sarah Pulson.

SPEAKER_00:

Does she make up for it?

SPEAKER_03:

Yes. The rest of the cast, and honestly, Kim's not that bad, but it is like I'm gonna take you to court.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Girl, why?

SPEAKER_00:

You're just so aware that it's her.

SPEAKER_03:

It's like but did you watch her on American Horror Story?

SPEAKER_00:

No. I thought she didn't know.

SPEAKER_03:

I haven't watched she did better on American Horror Story. Like I was like, oh.

SPEAKER_00:

Interesting. I wonder why.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:

Is this one too close to her like real life?

SPEAKER_03:

Maybe, but like, or because she's more of a lead in this, because like she was a lead in that, but it was really led by what's her name.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, you're right. I did see a couple of I didn't watch the whole thing, but I saw a couple episodes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, she was good. I thought it was better, yeah. It was more like Emma Roberts led.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Um, did we did you know about the new American Horror Story?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, that's so exciting. I wonder if it's a Coven sequel.

SPEAKER_00:

I Coven's my favorite. Mine too.

SPEAKER_03:

The only person they didn't announce was Kathy Bates.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, she's not okay, like health-wise. I don't really know.

SPEAKER_03:

She's doing that show. She's like, and season two is about to go.

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe she just like doesn't have the time to shoot.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I was trying to remember, did her ghost character die at the end? Like, was she obliterated?

SPEAKER_00:

I haven't seen it in so long, I don't really like that. But I think collectively, the first Joshua? No, Reagan. Oh. I think collectively most people's favorite season is Coven, right? I think the first three are the best.

SPEAKER_03:

I but I love Hotel.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But Coven is my favorite.

SPEAKER_00:

I didn't care. I fell off after Freak Show, I think.

SPEAKER_03:

You Hotel has I love the ending so much. Yeah. It's worth it.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know. I I started Hotel, and this is what happens. Every I think Hotel was the last one I tried, but every season past Coven, I would be so excited and I would start it, and I would get a few episodes in and then I would just fall off.

SPEAKER_03:

Did you like Asylum?

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I never saw it.

SPEAKER_00:

So Asylum is my my top three are it's Coven season one Asylum. Okay. And then after that, I didn't I didn't care. Asylum was my least favorite of those three, but I'm Coven Hotel House, but I haven't seen Asylum and I should.

SPEAKER_03:

But I really recommend Hotel. It is good.

SPEAKER_00:

But Asylum is kind of like my worst, it's like my worst type of horror movie. It has to do with um religion and nuns and aliens? I don't oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

It's aliens.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, but it has like nuns in it and religion and stuff, and it's just like the it's my least favorite type of horror. So that was already gonna be down on the list.

SPEAKER_01:

Sure.

SPEAKER_00:

But they announced that pretty much the whole core cast is back. Kathy Bates, not Kathy Bates, sorry.

SPEAKER_03:

Sarah Paulson, Jessica Lang, Evan Peters, Emma Roberts.

SPEAKER_00:

Um is Gaboray? Yep.

SPEAKER_03:

Is she um the daughter of Princess Leia? I always forget her name.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. What is her name?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my god, I'm losing my name.

SPEAKER_00:

What's Princess Leia's name?

SPEAKER_03:

Carrie Fisher's daughter. Carrie Fisher. Her last name's not Fisher.

SPEAKER_00:

Billy Lorde?

SPEAKER_03:

Billy Lord, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Didn't know that was her daughter.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

But I do see it now.

SPEAKER_03:

Billy Lorde. Ariana Grande.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah. That's she's the only one that's like new.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, she's she's been in two season one season.

SPEAKER_00:

She wasn't in Coven. No. Right, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But I'm excited. We will see.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, do we know when it's coming out? They haven't started, they haven't filmed it. It was just announced.

SPEAKER_03:

And Sarah Pulson, I guess, is in talks to be um Eileen War War. Eileen, the serial killer. Eileen War.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know her.

SPEAKER_03:

You know the movie Monster with Charlize Theron?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, they're doing another monster series.

SPEAKER_03:

Series, and Sarah Pulson is gonna play her, which I could see.

SPEAKER_00:

Could be into that. Yeah. Hopefully she's not digging dead people out of their graves and doing things to them like Ed Geen did.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, that's not what she did. She was a sex worker who killed truckers when after they deserve it.

SPEAKER_00:

Um did you see Angela, our friend Angela had made a video um as if she was the director for the Edgean story, and it's the season the scene where he's on top of a dead body doing something and her like acting out, like being the director, but also like wanting to vomit.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, mortified.

SPEAKER_00:

And I was like, yeah, like who, what sickles? I know. Who's writing this?

SPEAKER_03:

Who is directing it, directing it?

SPEAKER_00:

And everyone's just like, yeah, this is normal to do. We don't need this in the world. No, I'm just like, I guess maybe I'm becoming more prude, like as I think we just get more sensitive.

SPEAKER_03:

It's just like we don't want to see that.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I really don't. Yeah. My Halloween was um Josh, like middle of the day, was like, Do you want to do something tonight? And I was like, I knew this is gonna happen. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah. Um, and so we went to the Queen Mary and did the dark harbor. Oh, it looked cute. And that was fun.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, I didn't see Chad. Well, I hadn't seen and Chad saw a boyfriend, and he was like, Look how cute she's dresses Wednesday Adams.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I had a terrible time. I didn't well, I didn't have Thank you.

SPEAKER_03:

It was terrible.

SPEAKER_00:

No, no, I had a good time there. My outfit I didn't love.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

Because I just I didn't have the wig. I think the dress, like, I think maybe when I wore it before, I had like a little shape wear on, and that made me it made me like have like a little bit more shape in the dress. And I just like didn't feel like doing that.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

You know? So you didn't like it because I just didn't think that it didn't feel the best in it. Yeah, I didn't feel the best in it, if you will. And also like trying to braid my hair was not working for me.

SPEAKER_03:

And who was Uncle Joe dressed as?

SPEAKER_00:

Uh Mr. T.

SPEAKER_03:

Mr. T. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

He yeah, he looked cool. Yeah, like good for him. Nice, just looks well done. Looks good. But we did get there a little later, so um we but we had enough time to do all the mazes, and there were two mazes that actually went inside the ship, and that was fun. Cool, but you couldn't actually like walk around the ship, which sucked.

SPEAKER_03:

I do still want to go back ever since we went for your birthday and like do dinner there.

SPEAKER_00:

I also want to go back.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, we should do that.

SPEAKER_00:

We should. But and I thought maybe that we were they we would be allowed to just like roam like the outside of the ship, you know, but that was not the case. You would have had to actually pay to go on the ship.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00:

Or be staying in the hotel. But there was, yeah, there were two, um, one on each side, the front and the back, the bow and the stern, if you will.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, I do.

SPEAKER_00:

And uh they went like kind of underneath. Um, and that was it was really hot in there, but it was cool. And then there was like three or four outside, and that was cute. And then they just had like a bunch of food and stuff. There was like a couple rides, but you know.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, rides?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm sure, yeah, like uh wait, was this what was it called? Dark Harbor?

SPEAKER_03:

So remember how for a number of years it was like spooky shack? No, it was like Shaquille O'Neal themed. No, because Chloe wanted to go. Like when we were doing the podcast that year, remember she was like, we should go do this.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, I guess I remember something like that.

SPEAKER_03:

Shacktober. I think that's what it was called.

SPEAKER_00:

That's so random.

SPEAKER_03:

So now So it's back to Dark Harbor. That's what it used to be.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, there was like a carnival, a couple carnival rides.

SPEAKER_03:

How long did it take you to get there?

SPEAKER_00:

An hour.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay. But you had a good time.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That's cute.

SPEAKER_00:

I think we got there at like 10 and it closed at one.

SPEAKER_03:

I love that.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm glad you went out and did something spooky because I'm I'm not sure. I know I hadn't done anything.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. And normally there's so many things.

SPEAKER_03:

I truly slept, and then the next day we went to we went to one of his friends' houses and had she made like frozen apple cider, alcoholic apple cider beverages. We had a couple of drinks and then went home and slept again.

SPEAKER_00:

Love that.

SPEAKER_03:

Like it was a lot of catch up on sleep for me because it's just been a whirlwind. You know, October was wild.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I did make us little apple pie uh shots to take when we got there.

SPEAKER_03:

Two. I love an apple pie shot.

SPEAKER_00:

So good.

SPEAKER_03:

So good. I um I hit my I had my 200th boxing class.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh my gosh, congrats.

SPEAKER_03:

And I got a commemorative uh gym bag for it from them.

SPEAKER_01:

Nice.

SPEAKER_03:

It's, I mean, I like to say, just so everyone knows, it's more like 280. But because when I first started taking class in 2018, I was a friend of a coach, so I would just get to take class for free.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

And then the pandemic hit, she quit, so I stopped going. Then it was like last year during my Dark Night of the Soul, and that was like my outlet, right? It was like hike in the morning, box three times a week, do all this internal work, try not to die. And so I racked up those classes quickly. So on paper, it's 200, but it's actually more like 280.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, congrats. But on paper, do they count only count when you're a member, or do you know they count class past two?

SPEAKER_03:

Like they count all of that. But when you're a guest of a coach, they don't count it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because you're just like walking in.

SPEAKER_03:

Correct. They just put you on a literal written list.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So I hit my 200th boxing class.

SPEAKER_00:

Would you still want to ever be a coach? Or is that a good one?

SPEAKER_03:

At this stage of life, no, I don't think so. Also, like everyone I love has quit there because they the politics, I guess, are not great.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Well And also I wanted to hit 200, and now I want to explore other things. Like, I'm gonna try, I want to get back, I want to try yoga. I wanna try Boonda. Have you heard of Boonda?

SPEAKER_00:

I live right by one, so I see it the word every day, but I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_03:

That's the one the one in Sherman Oaks is the one that what the manager of BU left and now manages that one. So she's like anytime you want to try it.

SPEAKER_00:

What is it like floor Pilates?

SPEAKER_03:

It's no, it's like a berries class, but instead it's all ass focused.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

So it's like stairmaster and then like a circuit. Stairmaster and a circuit.

SPEAKER_00:

I could be down.

SPEAKER_03:

We should try it.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's do it. So that's yeah, it's like walking distance.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. But I do have like six credits left at BU. So and they told me I can share them. They let you share credits now. So like if we gotta use those up, if you want to go do a boxing class.

SPEAKER_00:

I'll do it. Okay. Right now my shoulder hurts, so not right now.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, that wouldn't be good.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, well, that was our Halloween's and your week.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, uh, new episode of Gay and Trying. Gay and Trying matchmaking is out. I would like to do that. I'm gonna try to find Karina Love.

SPEAKER_00:

I watched it this morning.

SPEAKER_03:

News flash, we didn't.

SPEAKER_00:

I know. I was, I didn't want to, I didn't know if I should give anything away.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, it's fine. It's it's funny, you guys. You could go check it out. One day after the dust settles on it, I'll go into the how absolutely insane and how I almost didn't survive the two weeks of shooting that episode.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But I am so happy that it's out and now done.

SPEAKER_00:

I was all the men that were coming on, I was like, no. Yeah, like there's just no way, like knowing her at all, right? At all. Like the first guy, definitely not.

SPEAKER_03:

The um Jeremy from accounting.

SPEAKER_00:

No, the guy, the second guy that Dylan interviewed. Oh absolutely not. She I think that she would rather die than am I right on that you know I'm talking about?

SPEAKER_03:

Also, the Russian man. What do you look for in a woman? Oh, good woman. Just like what is sound bite. Yeah, good woman. Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I thought that Jeremy from Accounting was the best one.

SPEAKER_03:

He is, and he and Karina are friends, so like I was never gonna, yeah, he did us a solid to be in that video.

SPEAKER_00:

The guy, yeah. You guys should go watch, and we'll maybe talk about more in depth next time because it literally came out today. But I do want to talk about like the guy that she actually goes on the date with.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, Luke. So hot, very attractive, but the reason I say we have to wait for the dust to settle is because what the actual story behind this whole episode is so insane, but like I don't want to give it all away right now. I can tell you off camera, but it is some funny tea.

SPEAKER_00:

Did you not show the dating app you used because of like copyright or something?

SPEAKER_03:

Like, I thought you were gonna like show like Yeah, so they were our editing team was gonna make a fake like you know, app for to show, but we just ran out of time. Like everything has been so insane at BuzzFeed that we ran out of time for all of that. But got him. Um it was Hinge, even though the sound bite that they kept said I found him on Bubble, Bumble. Yeah, but that's because we record a bunch of takes saying a bunch of different brands a lot of the time. We'll do that. We did that for the fishing episode too, like REI, yeah, outdoor world, like whatever.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, in case someone wants a sponsor.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I don't know why they ended up keeping him bumble. Maybe they're trying to sell us to Bumble because we had no say in that. But I was literally, I was like, found this guy on Bumble, found this guy on Hinge, found this guy on plenty of fish, gave them all. But they chose Bumble, so that's interesting.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, the fishing I also watched this morning. I was behind, so I had to watch this morning. Um, the the guy that was teaching you was actually so funny.

SPEAKER_03:

So funny.

SPEAKER_00:

Lorenzo was he had such good little like sound bias.

SPEAKER_03:

He had a great sense of humor, he was so kind and really great with us.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And like I think I said maybe said this on the pop, but he was so worried we weren't gonna catch a fish.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

That he had a backup fish ready at one of his friends that was on the lake that was gonna just give us one so we could like pretend catch it. Yeah, he was a real one.

SPEAKER_00:

That was real. How did you tell him, like, just say whatever you think is funny, or did was that just him taking liberties?

SPEAKER_03:

A little of both. Like, Dylan, we had two meetings with him prior, and Dylan is as unhinged as he is in the video. That's just Dylan in real life.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And we were like, we give you full permission. Like, we will not if you say something that you think maybe is like not okay, we'll edit it out. We're like, we're not trying to paint you as someone that would be homophobic or say something bad. Yeah. So just like we're safe, say whatever, especially if you have a bit. He's like, okay. Yeah. And he really did it.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Sounds gay.

SPEAKER_03:

He said that so much. Sounds gay. What happens if our rods cross? Sounds gay.

SPEAKER_00:

That was funny. And then he was like, I'm I gotta give these gay guys a bitch.

SPEAKER_03:

So funny.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, he was. I thought he like was great.

SPEAKER_03:

He really was, he was really he made it really fun for us.

SPEAKER_00:

Good. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And Lorenzo. I hope that you get some business out of this.

SPEAKER_00:

Is he married? No, he's saying Karina.

SPEAKER_03:

But he does this full time and only for the summer because he makes so much money doing it that he can just like travel and stuff the rest of the year. Good for him.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Sounds great.

SPEAKER_03:

Because you can sell those bass for a lot of money. I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_00:

I didn't either.

SPEAKER_03:

He catches and sells them.

SPEAKER_00:

Do you know how old he is?

SPEAKER_03:

No. But he was really nice.

SPEAKER_00:

You should have just had him back on to be to date Karina.

SPEAKER_03:

Karina's like, Lorenzo? Because obviously she was there. Yeah. Um, that would be funny. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

We'll see.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, everyone, go check it out.

SPEAKER_03:

Your nails look nice.

SPEAKER_00:

Check it out. Uh, thank you. I got them done on Halloween.

SPEAKER_03:

They're very good. I like the tip.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you. Just the tip.

SPEAKER_03:

Just the tip. By the way, boyfriend's on his way, so if he might if he interrupts this, don't freak out.

SPEAKER_00:

I w I would never don't scream. I imagine I do. Well, speaking of boyfriends, oh my god, I'm so good at the point today. Uh the 2025 People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive has been announced.

SPEAKER_03:

Jonathan, Mr. Jonathan Bailey.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and like honestly, layup and first gay.

SPEAKER_03:

Or first openly gay. Let's be clear.

SPEAKER_00:

True, yeah. Yeah, I think it's a layup. Like for sometimes they pick someone and it's like what?

SPEAKER_03:

Or like they're giving them their props finally.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Or they're just like 85 years old.

SPEAKER_03:

Correct, yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

No, I'm just kidding. But like, I guess it does. Does it bless you? I don't know if that was a seems to be.

SPEAKER_03:

It was a cough. Um but I thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

You're welcome. Do they normally pick someone who's also on a press run? Or is it just working out that he's on a press run?

SPEAKER_03:

I think it just works out that way. Oh. Keep finish your thoughts. I I want to talk about Wicked.

SPEAKER_00:

So Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, I was just yeah, going to say Jonathan Bailey uh is, if you don't know him, Vierrow in the Wicked movie. Also Bridgerton. I forget his name.

SPEAKER_03:

Also Jurassic World, the most recent one.

SPEAKER_00:

Jurassic World, yes. Uh, he is Sexiest Man Alive. And I do have, I was gonna read off like let's hear it. Some, but if you want to talk about Wicked first, we can. I don't know which one.

SPEAKER_03:

No, no, finish up Sexiest Man.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, well, last year was John Krasinski. What did we think about that?

SPEAKER_03:

I was kind of down for it. He's like a guy's guy, normal dude.

SPEAKER_00:

He is, but why wasn't he it when he was like at the height of the office? Maybe. Because that's when everyone was in love.

SPEAKER_03:

We should talk to boyfriend when he gets here because I wonder if this is a pay-to-play thing.

SPEAKER_00:

Right. Yeah, that's why I'm like, is it when you're on a press run?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, right. Well, because if it's pay-to play, then I could see John being like, it's I need to come back.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

My wife is really killing the game.

SPEAKER_00:

Like, I would like to And why is there not a sexiest woman alive? Do they do that?

SPEAKER_03:

I think that's called Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Okay, 2023 was Patrick Dempsey at age 57. They're also mostly like older. Jonathan Bailey's 37. John Krasinski was 45.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Patrick Dempsey was 57. 2022 was Chris Evans at 40, he was 41.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

2021 was Paul Rudd, he was 52.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

2020 was Michael B. Jordan, he was 33. So that's the youngest. That's at the time they were named. Yeah. 2019 was John Legend, he was 41. 2018 was Idris Elba, he was 46. Oh my gosh, Josh. And I watched the worst movie ever that Idris Elba is in but not in. The other day, it's on FX. I'll tell you in a second. It was crazy.

SPEAKER_03:

Lion?

SPEAKER_00:

No. 2017, Blake Shelton, he was 41. 41 is like the I don't agree with that. No. Sorry. 2016, uh The Rock, who's 44.

SPEAKER_02:

I do agree with that.

SPEAKER_00:

2015, David Beckham was 40. Yeah. 2014, Chris Hemsworth, who's 31. That is now the youngest. 2013 was Adam Levine at 34. 2012, Channing Tatum at 32. That time frame makes sense.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

2011 was Bradley Cooper at 36. And this was in 2011, Bradley Cooper was my number one celebrity.

SPEAKER_03:

Was that the time of like Limitless and the hangover and probably.

SPEAKER_00:

Maybe a little after the hangover. Yeah. But yeah. Um, he was 36. And then 2010 was Ryan Reynolds at 34. When did they start doing this? Should I go to the very first one? In the year 2000, Brad Pitt was the first.

SPEAKER_03:

The first man.

SPEAKER_00:

37.

SPEAKER_03:

And I believe that we will probably see another him come. I feel like they're gonna do it again.

SPEAKER_00:

Around, yeah. Pierce Brosnan was 2001, and that's funny.

SPEAKER_03:

That is funny. But like I would like to see Jack Black on that list.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. They're all just like conventionally like the top the A-list guys, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Johnny Depp. Like, okay. That's why I'm saying Jonathan Bailey is obvious because he's like so it guy. Yeah. But he's also not just like a boring guy. Like they could have picked who's like another really famous guy right now, but that would be like a boring pick.

SPEAKER_03:

A famous, boring pick? Yeah. Jesse Eisenberg.

SPEAKER_00:

I would be so excited. I know, I know.

SPEAKER_03:

That's why I said it. That's why I said it.

SPEAKER_00:

But anyway, that was that. What were you gonna say about Wicked?

SPEAKER_03:

Well, here's my thing. So remember, if you guys go back to episode, I don't know, when Wicked One was being about to come out, we were talking about it last year. I had predicted that they weren't gonna get an Oscar nom for song. Well, no, I thought they would, and then we learned you can't. Because none of the music in Wicked One was original.

SPEAKER_00:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

And then I said, Bet they're gonna have a new song in the next movie in hopes that it gets an Oscar nom. Not only that, they have two new songs.

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know what they are.

SPEAKER_03:

One of each. There, one that Cynthia, one that Ariana.

SPEAKER_00:

Love.

SPEAKER_03:

Also, I was reading about how sometimes Oscars frown upon like an overly publicized film, and they'll get kind of snubbed at this is what they predicted happened with Barbie. Barbie was too flashy, and that's why it didn't do well with the Oscars.

SPEAKER_00:

But so was Oppenheimer.

SPEAKER_03:

Right, right. Um, but that was kind of the theory why Wicked really didn't make any wins, was it was just like it's too commercial. Like it's it's not cool. Yeah. Because if you notice, this year, far less publicity around Wicked for Good. Far less. And I guarantee you, they're shooting for these two songs to be Oscar nominated songs. So let's see if I'm right. We'll find out when the Oscar noms are announced in January.

SPEAKER_00:

I bet you are right, and I will be looking out for that.

SPEAKER_03:

Thank you. Also, by the way, sidebar, I got a spray tan. Because everyone's like, stop tanning, Alex, stop tanning.

SPEAKER_00:

You need to go. There's a new place that just opened in Cherman Oaks, and they're doing in like this month and maybe a little into next month. They're like$25. And it's like a person doing it.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't like a person doing it. I want to go in a machine and get out of the machine and be done. And I will say, this one was good.

SPEAKER_00:

Where'd you go?

SPEAKER_03:

I went to just the one across from my gym. And I'd never done one before, so they let me do it for$15. Because I was like, I need to see if this is something because I know I shouldn't tan tan, but I hate my pale skin. And when this was first colored, I was like, oh.

SPEAKER_00:

Snowet.

SPEAKER_03:

So I got it. It was actually good. It's it's now pretty faded.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Is it normal that they only last like four days?

SPEAKER_00:

Depends on how many showers you're taking.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I've been sick, so I've been soaking in a bath.

SPEAKER_00:

That 100%.

SPEAKER_03:

Got it. Okay. But I did I didn't know with spray tans that there's like, would you like level one through four bronze, one through four clear?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. If you go to where you normally would tan, that's where I have usually gone to spray tan.

SPEAKER_03:

Where we met that one day and you I got caught red-handed. Yeah, that was really funny.

SPEAKER_00:

Um I get level two clear.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, I did, I was like, obviously, clear sounds better because it's not gonna get off on things.

SPEAKER_00:

And it just yeah, it develops over time versus you would do like the regular if you had something that day you need to do. Oh if you're like in three, four hours I have to be on a red carpet, you wouldn't want to do that one because it would go on tan, basically.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, so I did a level wait, there's one through four, right? I did level three clear.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And I was happy with it. Yeah. It was like I got the spray tan at like 10 in the morning, so I waited eight hours and showered that night.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I was gonna say with clear, once if you do it enough, you can also know how long it's gonna take for you to get your desired darkness.

SPEAKER_01:

Ah.

SPEAKER_00:

And so then if you're like, okay, I like to shower really at six hours that because that's like what I feel is the best development for me, then you could do that. But yeah, I would say always go clear unless you like have a an event that night.

SPEAKER_03:

That's good to know. I was like, because of the way a spray tan feels, and I have had only one prior to this, I was like, I know that I don't want to do it at night and then sleep in it because I don't think I'll sleep. Because I think I'll be like the stickiness is like keep me awake. So I liked that it was like, okay, I got in the morning, I went about my day and just showered at night.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. You can also do the trick, um, because we've been tanned by Jimmy Coco a few times, and he's like a celebrity tan artist. He is always doing the Kardashian, so that's like cool. He has like a little um spray puff bottle of like baby powder. Oh, yeah. That you can put like under on your armpits or um in your knee pits or whatever, elbows. If you are gonna, if you're worried about sweating or something and you don't want that to rub off.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

So that's a good trick.

SPEAKER_03:

Good to know.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Yeah. I like to do it in the morning and then yeah, wash it off before bed too.

SPEAKER_03:

Mainly because like it gets on your sheets. Like, yeah, I feel like I I mean I like with a regular tan how you can literally just be tan.

SPEAKER_00:

Right.

SPEAKER_03:

You get to the color you want, you do a maintenance session like once a week.

SPEAKER_00:

But it's I mean, I just don't tan like that either because I'm just like pale and I don't get a tan tan. So you would I just get more freckles.

SPEAKER_03:

You would though, if you did it, if you did like a level five or matrix.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I know what tanks are right. Well, I was just gonna tell you that there's a new place to open and they just have discount.

SPEAKER_03:

But do they have a Versa or is it just a person? No, no, I think it's a person because Karina was like sugared in bronze. I was like, that's too expensive.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't need that.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. This one in real life I think is way more expensive, but it's like they have a promo right now because they just opened.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, anyway, I just want to say I hear you. I hear my boyfriend. I'm trying to not Good. I'm trying to fight the urge to change.

SPEAKER_00:

Should you also go get a full body scan at the dermatologist?

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I'm getting blood drawn and stuff on Tuesday, so I'm also gonna I have a referral for a derm.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, good.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Can't wait. Well, I am uh how are you doing? Are you okay with the news?

SPEAKER_03:

Oh.

SPEAKER_00:

You know.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I I'm okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh we can I hope I know. I hope that this is right.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm just playing into the bit. I don't know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_00:

Six Flags America is officially closed.

SPEAKER_03:

I did go on a I did dive into that. Here's the thing I never went to that park. From my research into it, it was first of all, you know how I feel about Six Flags. You all know how I feel about Six Flags. First of all, second of all, did I tell you what about the perks I get next year?

SPEAKER_00:

No. Please tell us.

SPEAKER_03:

Pause. Put it, put it in that. You know I love six flags, and I'm prefacing by saying that because you also know knowing that our six flags, my six flags out here, it's not great. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

No.

SPEAKER_03:

I'm a diehard. It's like being, it's like this six flags out here is the equivalent of saying, Well, they're your family, so like you have to love them. It's like that. Yeah, I will always love it. It holds a very special place in my heart. I will continue to support it, but it is not great. So I can't even fathom a six flags with the reviews that I was reading. They were like, from Would you like to actually tempt death? Go to Six Flags Great America. Like, nothing good to say about it. My thing is, what it seems like is gonna happen is it's closed, but I think they're gonna like it's someone's gonna buy it and make like open it up. That's my actual dream.

SPEAKER_00:

Who would buy it? Cedar Fair.

SPEAKER_03:

No, Cedar Fair owns Six Flags, owns Six Flags, so they would have to be like that.

SPEAKER_00:

That's the other group, then there's a few.

SPEAKER_03:

There's like Universal, and then there's like the company whoever owns Dollywood, and I don't remember what they're called. Like it's Dolly Parton is a part owner, but it's not she doesn't own it. Yeah, she's not the whoever owns that one, they could.

SPEAKER_00:

Because it's close.

SPEAKER_03:

They also own Holiday World and Kennywood in Pennsylvania.

SPEAKER_00:

Exactly. Love Holiday World. Was Six Flags called Great America before? Or was there a different one?

SPEAKER_03:

Six Flags Great America.

SPEAKER_00:

This one just everything just says America. So did they drop the great at some point?

SPEAKER_03:

No. Great America is in Texas. This is a different one. Oh, okay, okay. Six Flags America, Six Flags Great America.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, hate to see it close. This is the time I wish that I had won the Powerball jackpot last month for one point. That's what you would buy? I would absolutely buy a theme park. I would name every I would rename every ride after my friends.

SPEAKER_00:

I think that your financial advisors would greatly deter you from.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, it can't be that expensive. What, like half a billion?

SPEAKER_00:

You would lose so much money.

SPEAKER_03:

Maybe. But it would be really fun for a little bit. I'd be I'd name like a ride after you. I'd be like, oh, I got so dizzy on the Alice.

SPEAKER_00:

What kind of ride would you name after me?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know. I'd like I'd like bring my friends to the park and be like, what resonates with you? What do you think you would like if you could name a ride after you, what kind of a ride would it be?

SPEAKER_00:

It would be a roller coaster.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, it would, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes. But it would not be trying to think of like what my favorite ones are.

SPEAKER_03:

Because at my age, I really essence a serious question.

SPEAKER_00:

I know. Like Thunder Mountain. Like that type of thing.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, cute. Yes, love that. That makes sense to me.

SPEAKER_00:

Because I I do need to talk about my age because when I went to Six Flags here the first time and I went on all those roller coasters that rattled my head back and forth and gave me the worst headache ever and when I wanted to throw up, which like didn't happen to me when I was younger, because I went to Six Flags or Cedar Point when I was younger, and like all of those rides I was living for, but now my head is too sensitive to that. So even in Credit Coaster, love it, but when we go upside down, it's a little too like bad on my head rattling.

SPEAKER_03:

It's an older coaster, by the way.

SPEAKER_00:

In Credit Coaster?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Sure. Oh yeah, because it used to be something else. I'm just saying I think that my ideal coaster would be Thunder Mountain vibe.

SPEAKER_03:

Something where there's no seatbelt. It's not, it's thrilling, but it's not too intense.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, but not like what's the other one? What's the Ghost Rider? No, I love Ghost Rider.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, no, the other one at Disney um that I now, why am I blanking on it?

SPEAKER_01:

Matterhorn?

SPEAKER_00:

Matterhorn. Absolutely not. Get me out of Matterhorn. That feels like I'm gonna die.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, my roller coaster would be something like the Millennium Force.

SPEAKER_00:

I do like the Millennium Force. And at Knott's Berry Farm, I do like the one with the end of the room. Yeah, yeah, hang time. That's fun. Because it doesn't hurt my head and it's smooth. So something like that.

SPEAKER_03:

Speaking of Knott's Berry Farm, to go back to my perks, January of next year, my pass now includes all Cedar Fair Parks.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_03:

Same discount, same everything.

SPEAKER_00:

Wow.

SPEAKER_03:

Free parking. So we can go to Knotttsbury.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and to upgrade, like once you get the ticket and to upgrade, it's so cheap, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. I miss Knottsbury. I would like I'm excited to go back again.

SPEAKER_00:

I know I wish we could have gone.

SPEAKER_03:

Not scary too.

SPEAKER_00:

Do they have a Christmas? Knott's Christmas?

SPEAKER_03:

They do.

unknown:

It's a call.

SPEAKER_03:

No, it's called something with Snoopy in it. Sorry. Something with Snoopy in it. Um But I think we're just we're gonna just have to go back to Six Flags.

SPEAKER_00:

Six Flags was cute for Christmas, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I am just gonna say, like, I don't I love my friends, don't want to go with a child again.

SPEAKER_00:

Like it was it was tough.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, and also like you had been there all day.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, this time I'm gonna have to like make sure that we don't have to do that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we'll go for an afternoon into the evening, do the hot chocolate and the s'mores.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But that was cute. And we made a fun video, a couple fun videos out of it.

SPEAKER_00:

We did. Okay, well, that is that. So I have pick your poison. Do you want to talk about sports or stranger things?

SPEAKER_03:

Do I ever want to talk about sports? I do want the sports corner. Yeah, give me the dodgeball sports corner. Oh, ready?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and then turn in the tournaments next week.

SPEAKER_03:

You're not doing glow? They're not doing a glow week?

SPEAKER_00:

That was the week before. That was last week.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, sorry. Glow was terrible because we only had like eight people. And so we just like it was not we sucked because we had no one there. Because it doesn't count, so everyone was like, yeah, I'm not going to that. Or yeah, whatever. Uh no, we played hot to throw this week. And we created them.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I think they won one game.

SPEAKER_03:

That means you'll probably play them in the finals.

SPEAKER_00:

Probably, yeah. I looked at the thing. Let me see I can if I can easily pull it back up.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, like do you have a buy?

SPEAKER_00:

Um, we don't because so what I think is annoying is because there was only two A-league teams, they made they got to play everyone, but they're only playing each other. So they're just like so us playing them affected our average, but then in the tournament, like they're just playing each other. So there's like an A-league, A-League championship. So they have a bye technically because they're just playing each other. Okay, but they're us losing so badly to them affected our win average. That sucks. And I was like, that's so dumb. Um, but playoffs, we play the throw jobs. I don't know them.

SPEAKER_03:

Funny.

SPEAKER_00:

And then if we win, we play the winner of hold on, that is game.

SPEAKER_03:

Throw jobs.

SPEAKER_00:

We will play the either hot to throw or swallows.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay. Swallows are fun. They were always a good time. Good competitors.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So um next week, no, two weeks from now, you'll have the you'll know what happened.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, the final.

SPEAKER_00:

But what I really want to talk about in Sports Corner is that I am so excited.

SPEAKER_03:

Because the Dodgers won the panel.

SPEAKER_00:

No. I I that was one of the best World Series games ever, though. Like, did you watch? Because you text me and then you didn't respond to me. I was like, well, why'd you t why'd you text me?

SPEAKER_03:

Why did I text you?

SPEAKER_00:

Something about Go Dodgers. And so I was like, Are you watching? The world you would have known if it was the World Series game that you watched. Championship game.

SPEAKER_03:

I didn't watch a single Dodgers anything. I must have just heard murmur, oh, that was when I was with, we were with Chad's friend. We had had those drinks, and then we walked to a bar, not realizing that a sports event was.

SPEAKER_00:

It was the championship game, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay, well, we're gonna go.

SPEAKER_00:

My gosh, you totally should have watched. It was so good because the it was tied. Obviously, when it was a game seven, so it was tied. And then for most of the game, the Blue Jays were up. And so then we got down to like the very like do or die, the Dodgers have to score. Yeah. So they did, they tied it, and so then they went into the extra inning. And so then, because the Blue Jays were the home team, they in they score, game is over. If the Dodgers score, like the it continues on. Yes, they would have a chance to play. So uh it was very intense. There was someone on third base and on the Dodgers team?

SPEAKER_03:

No, on the Games. The Blue Jays.

SPEAKER_00:

So if they that person scored, game's over. Blue Jays win. There's a ground ball hit to second base, and the second baseman throws it to home to make sure that person doesn't score. Yeah. And it was down to like millimeters, and they called him out. So then now there's two outs and they didn't score. So whatever. So it goes into another, it's still tied, it goes into another thing. And then um the Dodgers hit a home run, and so they were up one. It was a whole thing, and then it ended obviously the Dodgers won, but it was a very like on the edge of your seat game.

SPEAKER_03:

Go Dodgers.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm like, I like the Dodgers now because I live here and like I've gone to a handful of games and I know the players and whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

And Josh is involved.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, but he is obviously a Cubs fan, so he was like, I don't care. Um, but if the Yankees were playing the Dodgers, I would root for the Yankees. Okay. Because that was like my childhood thing. But no, what I wanted to tell you is that after like 50, 70 years, hold on. I want to get my information.

SPEAKER_03:

50-70 years.

SPEAKER_00:

50-70 years, no. Basically, since the 40s, uh, there's been not a women's baseball league. You've seen the movie A League of Their Own.

SPEAKER_03:

Never, but I know of it.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Well, I think I've had that same reaction. That's insane. You have to watch it. But there is now in 2026 a women's professional baseball league. This is different. It's not a softball league.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_00:

This is a women's professional baseball league. That's actually cool. It is so cool. And the first four teams are Boston, LA, New York, and San Francisco.

SPEAKER_03:

LA? Where are they playing?

SPEAKER_00:

I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

Dodgers Stadium?

SPEAKER_00:

No, definitely not.

SPEAKER_03:

Definitely not. Two sexists for that.

SPEAKER_00:

No, just unfortunately, they won't fill up Dodger Stadium. Oh, I see what you're saying. So it would be like not money-wise, it wouldn't be. Yeah. Right. But they so the w women's professional baseball league that was during World War II happened because all the men were at war and they wanted entertainment. When you watch a league of their own, you'll learn this. But they wanted a form of entertainment because they had shut down the MLB at the time. And so they were like, let's have the women uh women play. And so it started out kind of flopping, and then they were like, the women are good, like these are they're good.

SPEAKER_01:

They're good.

SPEAKER_00:

So then it started to draw a crowd, and then it became a really big thing. But when the war ended, it was like, yeah, it was like the women need to go back home and take care of the family, like literally, which like sucked, but it was such a thing, and then and you can still today go to like the Hall of Fame, like the baseball hall of fame, and there's like a section for the women's baseball league. Um, but now it's coming back in 2026, and there's like 150 players. They have already had like a tryout basically, and then the these four teams will do a draft and they'll draft their players. And then I'm so excited. I want to go. That is really cool.

SPEAKER_03:

That I could get into.

SPEAKER_00:

And we were talking about this because normally like men play with wooden bats, right? I think. Kind of. They don't use metal bats, but in softball, you use a metal bat because it's I don't know, easier. I don't know what it is, but use a metal bat. So they're allowing them to use metal bats, which means there's gonna be like home run, like hella home runs, which will be exciting. That will be exciting. So if they were using non-metal bats, it would be harder to hit a home run. Okay. So it's gonna be exciting. This is why like Josh is like if women, if the like WNBA players could dunk, like it would be crazier for people to watch. Like it'd be so fun. There's only one person that can dunk really, and then Britney in the WBA. We know maybe someone else might like be able to get up there, but she's just so tall that it's like so easy for her. But that's gonna be exciting, and I want to go to a game, and I think you would enjoy it.

SPEAKER_03:

I do too.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, well, next year we're gonna go.

SPEAKER_03:

Heck yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, the last thing I have on my list, I actually have two things, but one is the David Harbour drama that's going on. It seems like you have tea that you can't tell, probably.

SPEAKER_03:

No, I can tell. I was at the premiere last night.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, yeah. One of my things is uh Millie Bobby Brown, how she had a uh bullying, she made like HR.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, she like Yeah, I'm HR complaining about it.

SPEAKER_00:

But then last night at the premiere, they were like hugging.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh my gosh, the the press line was a ghastly.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, so what's up with that? It's what did you observe?

SPEAKER_03:

Well, first of all, we all know how I have spoken about Millie Billy Brown in the past. Yeah, she was lovely. She did we interviewed her, she was lovely, she looked beautiful.

SPEAKER_00:

Have you come around?

SPEAKER_03:

Maybe I have.

SPEAKER_00:

Wow.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, maybe being a mother and a wife has I think she just grew up.

SPEAKER_00:

Like she was literally like nine when you well, first of all, I didn't realize.

SPEAKER_03:

Like, for I've never seen, I've seen one episode of Stranger Things. I didn't realize this is episode this is season five, the final season. They started shooting this show in 2014. It has been over ten years.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. I stopped after I didn't even fin finish season three, I don't think.

SPEAKER_03:

Five seasons over ten years is crazy.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

It's wild. But um, no, the press line was like, I wonder what's gonna happen. Because we get the when we get there, we're given a sheet with everyone that's gonna show up. And they were both on there. So we were like, well, this this like thing just came out like three days ago. Um, and then you see the publicist like I assume his publicist, her publicist teams, like talking.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And then they go to talk to them separately. They do the group photo, like the cast group photo, and then they they come together. They came together and did the side by side for the photos, and then went their separate ways.

SPEAKER_00:

So do you oh, so it was totally contrived. I think it was. They were like the po they were like, let's just get a nice picture of you guys together to like hush and calm this down, calm it down, and then you guys never have to speak again. So the press really thinks, like everyone is like, oh, like they're fine.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I mean that we were on the line being like, I guess it's okay. Like T.

SPEAKER_00:

This is breaking news.

SPEAKER_03:

Like we have to But I will say too, like, when when there is a topic that you are not allowed to talk about, yeah, the pr the the the PR teams come way ahead of them and they will lean over to us and be like, Don't question, two questions, whatever the parameters are, do not bring this up, don't talk about this. No one said anything about Millie. And David, is that his name? David Ember. He didn't come, so like carpet's this big, like we were on it was a Netflix show, so like it's split. So like half is what they call social media press, that's us, and then half is like the press. So a lot of times the big, big stars won't come to the social media side as BuzzFeed. We're like, and everything's in like priority order. So we are like third in the line of maybe 25 social media. So like we get pretty high up there, so we will get more than like a lot of other people, but we didn't like a lot of the stars didn't come to the social media line, but she did.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, she needs to because she is a she's a social media girly. And she has a company that she is Yeah, right. That's a very like social media company. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, but none of the other we thought we were gonna get Gait and we didn't, and then we got like some of the some of the leads, but none of the other kids. Like she was the only kid.

unknown:

I am so sorry.

SPEAKER_03:

No, it's not we knew you were coming in fine. Yeah. I like that. We're talking about the sexiest man on our sexiest man live. Or is it actually select?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. No.

SPEAKER_03:

Like, is Jonathan Bailey paying to be that? Because you know how some stuff is. No.

SPEAKER_00:

Do they pick um people who are on press runs though?

SPEAKER_03:

Like, is it always like they Yeah, is it a press move or is it like a people are like we want it like people magazine chooses?

SPEAKER_02:

Their staff like is actually like sits and takes it.

SPEAKER_03:

Wow and figure it out. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I don't I don't really know about it beyond that because we've never had anybody that's been not or like well, I was just like Jonathan Bailey like seems is a layup, but also he is on a press run right now because of this movie. I think so it was like they take that into consideration. Yeah, kind of the moment. Because like, was John Krasinski last year?

SPEAKER_03:

Was he there was nothing going on, I don't think so.

unknown:

Really?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't think so.

SPEAKER_00:

Who's John Krasinski?

SPEAKER_03:

He's married to Emma Emily Blunt.

SPEAKER_00:

Emily Blunt, he's in the office.

SPEAKER_03:

He plays Jim in the office, tall white dude. Sure.

SPEAKER_00:

Or they need This is him.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, and it was just at random, huh?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, that's random. Yeah, that was last year, yeah. Random.

SPEAKER_02:

But I think it's also like culturally, like what's gonna get people talking? Yeah, older. Do they need a different type of guy than they have like they've done like older guys?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, yeah. Mostly they are older, I would say. Yeah. There's only a couple that were early 30s that when I went through the list.

SPEAKER_03:

If you were to guess, who do you think? So the first sexiest man alive was the year 2000. Who do you think it was? Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Did you just know that, or was it truly a guess?

SPEAKER_02:

I I I think I just remembered that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Everyone's like, oh, Bradbit.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. I mean, I agree. He was he was the guy. He was that guy. For sure then. Yeah. For sure.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, well, thank you for your insight.

SPEAKER_03:

Thank you so much, babe.

SPEAKER_00:

Industry insight. What were we saying? Um, oh, uh, none of the kids showed up. Fan Woolhard.

SPEAKER_03:

So like they walked by and we got like a hey, hi, hello, but like Millie was the only kid that we got to interview. And Joyce's questions were so funny. Um, it was so like we we go like prepared with like three to five questions.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And so for Millie, she was like, Well, I come up with the questions.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So it was like, um, if the what's it called? The upside down, if the upside down had Wi-Fi, who's the first person you're FaceTiming? What are you saying to them? That was good. Millie liked that. She was like, Oh, if I say my mother, my husband will be mad. If I say my husband, my mother will be mad. You know what I have to say my mother, it's my mother, I'm calling mom. Mom calling, and you're gonna come get me out.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, then they also she also asked, uh, who in the cast would survive a real life love triangle?

SPEAKER_00:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

She said she would, which I love.

SPEAKER_00:

But survive.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Okay. Because I guess I don't know anything about the show, but I guess there's a love triangle that happens. I was looking at all the plot points and then made questions off that.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. It must be past the time I was watching. Yeah. So I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

And then Joyce always has to throw in a flirty question, so I had her ask Um, if I were trapped in the upside down, how long would you stay down there trying to rescue me before you gave up? And of course everyone was like, oh, I'm staying till the end.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

The best interview we got though is we got to interview Barb.

SPEAKER_00:

Barb. Is she bad?

SPEAKER_03:

Famously dies in season one. Yeah. But we got some tea, and I don't know if she was allowed to say her publicist didn't come up to us afterward, but she was like, I just found out that apparently my body makes an appearance in this season. She's like, I didn't consent to that, but I'm here for it.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, that's fine.

SPEAKER_03:

But she was really cute because she, I guess, is queer. I didn't know that she's non-binary, but they're non-binary.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And came out they were like, after the show, you know, I discovered this about myself. But Joyce, I love her so much. She didn't know their real name, which is Joanna. And they were just like walking by and she's like, to get her to come over to us, but you know, it always is.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm sure she or I'm sure they didn't.

SPEAKER_03:

No, it was great. It was great. But uh yeah, that was interesting to witness happening in real time with. But also, like, so the we all like see the same people, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh in the press line. This one girl that we know named Devin comes over and she goes, Kind of crazy that his outfit is a pinstripe suit after these allegations, like he's like he's in jail or something.

SPEAKER_00:

T honestly. Well, his allegations aren't really jailworthy, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But also he's in hot water right now because he's because of Lily Allen.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So the other two things are happening at once with David Harper. Millie Bobby Brown accusations on bullying. Yeah. And then Lily Allen, the musician, put out an album after seven years.

SPEAKER_01:

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_00:

And most of it is scathing.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Slamming him and the mistress.

SPEAKER_00:

So uh one of the songs, like she hints that they had an arrangement that he I was watching another podcast, so this is not me verbatim. This is not like some of my men probably men seeing a few things. But it seems that like right after they got married, he she was like out of town or something, maybe filming something, or I don't know, she wasn't in town, and he was like, I have to have sex with someone, so whatever.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

And so then that this is where this arrangement came from that it was like, if you're gonna do this, like I think that the line in the song is like it has to be random, they have to be stranger, a stranger, there has to be payment or something. So sex work, prostitution, okay, which is not legal anyway. Like, so that is like comes out in one of the songs, and then there's just like, yeah, there's a lot of um uh uh alluding to a mistress, and she the name in the album is Madeline or Madeline. Don't know who it is. Okay, but yeah, so it's just like her just outing him on being a terrible husband, and then they got divorced.

unknown:

Damn.

SPEAKER_00:

And then there are she's does say in a in a uh song that she found like lots of like hundreds of condoms, lots of some sex toys that that go for that go in your rear.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah, a lot of a lot seems a lot of men like that. Straight and otherwise.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So anyway, bad week for David Harbour, but whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I mean he looked he looked pretty good to be honest.

SPEAKER_00:

Really? Yeah, and like after I'm not into DH.

SPEAKER_03:

No, me either, but like when he got off the press line and like we were over in the like bar area there, yeah, he was like chilling and laughing and seemed like I'm sure he is. Straight white man.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Okay, well, it's not his birthday, but it's someone else's.

SPEAKER_03:

Happy birthday to I have no voice. You yes, thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, birthday today. Ellen Pompeo is 56.

SPEAKER_03:

Happy birthday, girl.

SPEAKER_00:

Kiernan Chipk. 26.

SPEAKER_03:

Good for you for pronouncing that.

SPEAKER_00:

People can't pronounce her name.

SPEAKER_03:

Who is that?

SPEAKER_00:

Um, she is the girl who played the new Sabrina The Teenage Witch series.

SPEAKER_03:

I was getting her confused with McKenna Grace.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh. Yeah. Yeah. She's 26. She's so young.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

My favorite ever. Josh Peck is 39.

SPEAKER_03:

Happy birthday, bro.

SPEAKER_00:

Zoe Deutsch is 31. Yep. Miranda Lambert is 42. Corey Gamble. I threw this in. Like, he's not that famous. I mean, he is, but like, whatever. He's who dates um Chris Jenner.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Corey Gamer.

SPEAKER_00:

45. Walton Goggins is 54. And then in the entertainment, what year do you think Sesame Street started on this day?

SPEAKER_03:

Shh, wow.

SPEAKER_00:

I was shocked.

SPEAKER_03:

Um, I'm gonna guess 63.

SPEAKER_00:

69. Okay. I thought it was like the 80s.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I know my parents watched it, so.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, I guess that makes sense. Yeah. And then the iconic movie, Mary Kate and Ashley movie, Billboard Dad. Oh my god. In 1998.

SPEAKER_03:

You lost the whisk. Oh no, no, no, no, no. I used to quote that on the box.

SPEAKER_00:

My gosh, I can't quote it, but great movie.

SPEAKER_03:

I went to Sam's Club and I bought that with my own money. And my parents didn't know I was gay. Well, come on.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. Well, Billboard Dad, I watched it. It wasn't like I was re-watching Holiday in the Sun like a million times. That was my and Passport to Paris.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah. Yeah. Passport to Paris. Wow, that is a good one. So good. So good. Um, and real quick, quickly, a list of the week.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Mine is decorating for Christmas right now.

SPEAKER_00:

Are you gonna do it right now?

SPEAKER_03:

We put up Boyfriend's tree on Wednesday. We're putting up my tree tonight.

SPEAKER_00:

Where? Where should we?

SPEAKER_03:

I'm gonna move this to the garage and this to the garage, and it's gonna go here in front of the window.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh my god, perfect. What's Stanley gonna do? Does he sit on that?

SPEAKER_03:

Never.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03:

He's always right there on the window.

SPEAKER_00:

I thought he looked out the window.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, that was the intention, and then he just never did it.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, my A-list of the week is I don't know. Because I wasn't pro I wasn't thinking about it.

SPEAKER_03:

It could be something, it could just be something that you already. Um hair gloss.

SPEAKER_00:

That's a good one.

SPEAKER_03:

When are you putting your tree up though?

SPEAKER_00:

My A-list of the week is making having a cute little date night and making little pizzas.

SPEAKER_03:

I would love to do that. I used to make homemade pizzas all the time. I loved that.

SPEAKER_00:

We did that on Sunday and it was a great time.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Get your pre-made pizza dough from Trader Joe's.

SPEAKER_03:

Or Whole Foods.

SPEAKER_00:

Or Whole Foods.

SPEAKER_03:

But yeah, that bag of Trader Joe's. Oh man, it's good. Make your little I actually haven't done it since you mean Karina did it that one night.

SPEAKER_00:

You should do it.

SPEAKER_03:

Remember that?

SPEAKER_00:

Why don't you do it tonight? Why don't you do it? I don't really feel like making anything else.

SPEAKER_03:

I think my sick brain just wants to make it easy and order something.

SPEAKER_00:

That's fair.

SPEAKER_03:

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00:

All right. Well, that was that's that.

SPEAKER_03:

Thank you guys for watching and listening. That's all.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, yeah. We'll see you next time. Bye. Bye.
