Blind Boxes And Birthday Gifts
SPEAKER_02Did you get him a la boo-boo?
SPEAKER_04No, and I see that the fans said justice for Stanley, get him a little boo-boo. I could start a co-fund me, I suppose.
SPEAKER_02For twenty-nine dollars.
SPEAKER_04Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02I'll I'll get it for you.
SPEAKER_04I am gonna go to Pop Mart because I want to get one for Caitlin to send her for her birthday. And because she accidentally left one of her other surprise, what do you call those? Like surprise boxes? You know, there's like blind box. Sheet, there's a blessing. Why'd I say that so? I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, yeah. I found one that I think you would think is cute. There's a Disney one that I wanted to get for Daphne. I don't want to say what it is, but because I might get one for send one for her birthday.
SPEAKER_04It's so cute. There was a lot of cute Disney ones at Pop Mart.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Anyway, I didn't know it was a thing. I didn't know blind boxes were such a thing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04I thought they were like a dollar store thing.
SPEAKER_02No, they're not.
SPEAKER_04But she did a care bear one because she loves care bears and got the one she wanted.
SPEAKER_02That never happened.
SPEAKER_04Left it in the bag with the lu boo-boo that she gave to you. Yeah. So here it sits.
SPEAKER_02You can get them anywhere. You can get them at the Where did I put it? Well, I sure don't know.
SPEAKER_04Well, I have it somewhere. And so I was gonna send it to her, but I thought, oh, well, her birthday is coming up, so I could just send her.
SPEAKER_02You can get them a couple places. You can get them at Pop Mart, the other store that's like Japanese.
SPEAKER_04Uh, me, Mia, Misu. Mini Sue. Mini something. Yeah, we went to.
SPEAKER_02And also Tokyo. There's a at the upstairs, there's like a Tokyo something store. You can get that all the places.
SPEAKER_04Faction Square, yeah. So I'm gonna go back and get her one and then I'll come with.
SPEAKER_02I love it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, cute. You gotta look at the Disney ones. They're really cute. Um, so no, no laboo-boo for Stanley currently.
SPEAKER_02Well, he's a good boy. It can happen for his I don't know, half birthday. When is his birthday again?
SPEAKER_04November.
SPEAKER_02Half birthday.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Oh, he really needs a bath. You're getting a bath tonight.
SPEAKER_01Dang.
SPEAKER_02Welcome back to the A-less podcast with Allison and Alex. I'm Allison. He's Alex. Seamless. Nice.
SPEAKER_04Without even looking at each other.
SPEAKER_02I meant to tell you last time when we were talking about my birthday and the Magic Castle. I forgot to say that Josh and I saw Aquafina, the actress, not the drink. Oh, yeah. She was there with like her girlies. And so we went, I totally forgot this whole section of the night, but we were like in between shows and everything. So we like were just exploring the house. And we went in one side of the like basement area, and there was another little showroom, and there was a guy like already doing stuff. And so we kind of just snuck in and sat like in the second row.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And there was this group of like five or six girls that were two of them were sitting at a table, and then the rest of them were kind of in the front row. Okay. And he was kind of just talking to them. I don't know if like they were the only ones at first. And so he just was like, This show is for you and you only. But he kept asking them questions to do like mentalism stuff or things like that. And they kept calling this girl by her real name, which now I remember is Nora. Nora, yeah. And they were like, Oh, we we grew up together, went to elementary school, we're all from New York. And so they were like, Who do you who do you think is the most dramatic? And they would say one of them, and then he would do something like that. And they called her Nora, so I didn't think anything of it. And then we're standing up in line for the close magic room. And Josh was like, I'm pretty sure that's Aquafina. And then I turned around and looked at her. She was at the bar, and like there was a guy that came up to her that I could tell was being like, I love you so much. You're amazing. Thank you so much for everything you do, that type of thing. And I was like, Oh, for sure, that's her. Yeah. So I just thought that was a fun, like you. It's a little celebrity sighting. A celebrity sighting.
SPEAKER_04That's cute.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
Heat Complaints And AC Debate
SPEAKER_04Um, how are you holding up in this heat? Terrible. And how's your apartment?
SPEAKER_02Terrible. I feel like my ice maker is also not good. No, it's good, but I just feel like it's they're deteriorat, deteriorating faster.
SPEAKER_04Like you know what I mean. I wonder if you should just get a little freezer ice bucket. And when it makes a batch, just put it right in there for the summer months at least.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's like fine still, but if I don't get ice for a long time, the ones that have been sitting in there are a little melted. Which it's okay because then it's like crunchy, it's like a nice crunch, if you will, because it's not slow. I do like that.
SPEAKER_04It kind of like a crumble almost.
SPEAKER_02It's like uh slushy ice, if you will. So it's not like the worst thing ever, but I did, it's like, oh, it's so hot in here. Yeah. Especially if I like stay the night not there, and then I come back because nothing's no there's been no air on, there's been no fans.
SPEAKER_04It's like you don't stuffy. Leave a even a baseline of air on when you're gone.
SPEAKER_02Should I?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you have electronics.
SPEAKER_02What what does that mean?
SPEAKER_04Like, you shouldn't let your electronic electronics get too hot.
SPEAKER_02Hmm.
SPEAKER_04I mean, how hot are we talking? Your apartment must get up to like 90.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I guess. I mean, that probably not 90.
SPEAKER_04Like, I would maybe set your AC to like 78 when you leave.
SPEAKER_02I just feel like that's a lot of electricity.
unknownOh, yeah.
SPEAKER_04No? She's a frugal gal. Trying to save a penny here and there. She just got her bill from the from the tumble she took.
SPEAKER_02Just got my bill from the hospital, you guys.
SPEAKER_04Wow. Okay. Well, that's fair. As long as you are okay and Norma's not melting and Norma's okay.
SPEAKER_02All right. If it were to be like crazy crazy, right now it's like 90 at the height of the day.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02I feel, right? Yeah. Right now? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04The high today was 98.
SPEAKER_02It was?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I looked at my watch and it just said 91 like early, like a few hours ago.
SPEAKER_04So that's what part of town were you in?
SPEAKER_02Sherman Oaks.
SPEAKER_04Oh. In Hollywood, it was like 97 at one point when I loved.
SPEAKER_02I feel like it's hotter in the valley than you know what? I don't know. But I don't want to be here anymore. Yeah, the point is I would love to live by the beach.
SPEAKER_04I'm going to New York and it's gonna be 20 degrees at night.
SPEAKER_02That's exciting to me.
SPEAKER_04It's not even gonna rain, or it's not even gonna snow, it's gonna rain.
SPEAKER_00That sucks. Yeah. Especially when you walk a lot. But you gotta wear a cute like coat.
SPEAKER_04Do I? Do you know me to have anything other than a fur right now?
SPEAKER_02You've got to get a coat.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Tried.
SPEAKER_02You did?
SPEAKER_04I have like a winter coat, but that's not cute. I can't walk around with boyfriend in New York City with my big puffy Canadian winter coat.
SPEAKER_02Okay, maybe I don't know if they do men on like Rent the Runway, but maybe look on something like that and see if you can get like a peacoat.
SPEAKER_04I have 24 hours.
SPEAKER_02Oh really?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. You gotta I have ordered two leather coats from ASOS.
SPEAKER_00That's not what leather?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I would wear like a sweater on the page.
SPEAKER_00You need a pea coat.
SPEAKER_04Oh not. There's no way. Can you imagine me finding a peacoat that fits my arms? No, it'll have to be specially made. So, but I don't even have a leather right now. I literally only have furs.
SPEAKER_02Did you get like a trench?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_02You're gonna look like honestly, no.
SPEAKER_04Boyfriend had three trenches. I tried them all on and they also. The Matrix.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I was gonna say you just also look probably look like the Matrix.
SPEAKER_04There's like a large presence. They think that it's like two kids like stacked up. I just need one of these leather coats to fit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So that I can just have that for New York.
SPEAKER_02Fur I feel like works if it's not actively raining.
SPEAKER_04That is what boyfriend said, but like I just can't. I I it's great that I've had it for so many parties, but I cannot be photographed again in that black fur.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Maybe you can thrift something in New York? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Maybe. He said not to stress too much about it. It's like not that big a deal. We're basically like our itinerary's set, so now we know what we're doing. But it's like after we record this and after you leave, I have to bathe him, then pack his stuff.
SPEAKER_01You pack this.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I have to bathe boyfriend. And then I have a full day on set tomorrow. And then I'm not taking him to the sitters till 7 30 tomorrow night. Our flight is at 6 a.m. Thursday.
SPEAKER_00Terrible.
SPEAKER_04Direct at least. On a plane I've never been on. That's a weird way to say. A plane so a plane of this size I've never been on. I've never been on a plane that's more than a side.
SPEAKER_02Is it international? Like it's gonna go on to like another country after.
SPEAKER_04That I don't know.
SPEAKER_02That usually happens, I feel.
SPEAKER_04But it's one of those like two four-two.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So we're on a s we're in a section of just me and him. We've never flown alone.
SPEAKER_02Together?
SPEAKER_04Correct.
SPEAKER_02It'll be fine, I think.
SPEAKER_04We've always been with other people the two times, other times we've flown together. My hope is that he isn't one of those people that stands up on the land.
SPEAKER_02I get what you mean. Same. Um, we cut Josh and I covered that pretty early before we even thought about traveling together.
SPEAKER_04And it is important, and I tried to cover it with my last relationship, and he was quite firm that he did not care what I thought. He will stand up and walk out. And that is my nightmare.
SPEAKER_02Same. And I get I think the most I get mad in life is on an airplane.
SPEAKER_04I think I that's the most anxious I get.
SPEAKER_02Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_04Because I can't understand many things, but especially like the seatbelt sign is off. We have come to our destination. Why are you not getting up in the front and getting off this effing airplane?
SPEAKER_02Well, for they don't just let you as the moment it stops.
SPEAKER_04Like I'm talking about when they've opened the door and they're letting people leave, and the people in the first four rows are still like, wow.
SPEAKER_02I do think that not to be like devil's advocate. Yeah, but sometimes there are people who like need to get off with a wheelchair, and that just like might take a second.
SPEAKER_04Do you what are you talking about? Wheelchair people have to stay until the end. You know that.
SPEAKER_02Even if they're like right in the first on, last off.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, well then I don't know. I'm trying to be, I was trying to be the devil's advocate. But um, wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, it's the most mad. Like, I'm not anxious, like I'm actually mad because people do not act like normal people.
SPEAKER_04People forget how to be human.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I get so mad when one I know. Here's my thing. I I feel like probably one of our very early episodes. I feel like we talked about this, like back at like the bungalow. Yeah. But my first thing is I don't care if if someone is like, hey you guys, I'm so sorry. I have a connecting flight. I'm it's boarding right now. Like, would you would you mind if I went by you? But some people abuse that one. And two, I would tell, I feel like it's best when you tell the flight attendant and you're like, is it possible to make an announcement?
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_02So that I can run off, please. Yes. And then it's like totally understandable. Like I am, I have time, I'm fine. But the people who take advantage of that just so that they can get to the front, and it's like, you're lying.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02Or you aren't even saying anything and you're just pushing your way through. This is a literal one foot wide place.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then the second thing is obviously when a man or anyone, when someone stands up in the aisle next to me and their whole butt is just in my face, and it's disgusting.
SPEAKER_01And rude.
SPEAKER_02And what why do you need? I'm so sorry, your legs, you need to stretch your legs. So do all of us. I have sciatica.
SPEAKER_04Period.
SPEAKER_02Anyway, and then the whole luggage thing.
SPEAKER_04Of course, yeah. Hurry to get to the luggage hasn't even started.
SPEAKER_02In the front, and none of us can see when our luggage is coming up. If you just took actually four steps back, then we all can see. But people just forget how to be humans. Correct. And they do not care about anyone but themselves.
SPEAKER_04It is where the most selfish parts of humanity come to light.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04If you are selfish to any degree, it really comes out on airplanes and travel.
SPEAKER_02I just can't fathom it.
SPEAKER_04And like I'm not a perfect angel. I've definitely had moments, but I don't do those things.
SPEAKER_02No. I'm probably a victim of like being loud or sure.
SPEAKER_04I've been there, but I am I am terrified of inconveniency in a flagging. Oh my god, yeah. And they are there to serve. And I'm like, oh god, I better not ask for a while.
SPEAKER_02I'm so sorry. Can I please have a diet coke?
SPEAKER_04I'm afraid they're gonna go back there and be like spit in his spit in my water.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, definitely not.
SPEAKER_04They're not, it's just an anxiety.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Because there are people that are actually very rude to them. If you're saying please thank you, I think you're golden. Yeah, it's like minimal effort.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_02Some people are like, You are you are my servant, and I'm gonna treat you like shit, and like, no.
New York Plans Without A Coat
SPEAKER_04Yeah. So yeah, I'm going to cold weather without a coat.
SPEAKER_02I'm very excited for you. Do you think you're going to what?
SPEAKER_04See a Broadway show?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_04Oh.
SPEAKER_02But you aren't?
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_02There's no time. There's no time, or are you just like, no?
SPEAKER_04It's just not his thing. And if we're going for a little bit really doesn't like the theater, so he's not going to be my theater buddy. And that's okay. It's such a short amount of time. We are we land at 2.22 p.m. local time. We're going to Little Italy for dinner, he and I. And then Friday, I'm going to go to the Buzzfeed New York offices to do some work and see them while he works. And then I'm meeting up with Megan and Angela at like 4 30, 5. At 5. We're going to grab a drink. And then boyfriend is done with work at 6 30. We're having res we got reservations at this nice restaurant. The four of us are going to go. Then we're going to go to the West Village and gay bar hop the night over.
SPEAKER_02West Village. So you're not going to Hell's Kitchen.
SPEAKER_04No. And then Saturday, he wants to just like show me his New York, what he loves about New York.
SPEAKER_02Favorite thing. That's what I want to do, also.
SPEAKER_04So I know we're going to Central Park. I know that's part of it. But because we're staying in, we're in Soho.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then we're kind of, yeah, we're just taking Saturday as well.
SPEAKER_02We need to go to Chelsea Market.
SPEAKER_04I'm letting him. I mean, it's that's it.
SPEAKER_02I feel like he would like I feel like that's probably something he likes because it's that seems right.
SPEAKER_04It seems like him. We leave very early Sunday, so we're not trying to make it a late day Saturday.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then bada bing, bada boom.
SPEAKER_02I think what I was gonna ask is are you need to ride the subway?
SPEAKER_04Oh no, the plan is to avoid it at all costs.
SPEAKER_02What in the world?
SPEAKER_04He's never ridden it. Megan was like, well, don't worry, we'll avoid it. And I'm like, good. I don't want to be.
SPEAKER_02It's a ride of passage.
SPEAKER_04I'll end up in Boston. I'm not doing it.
SPEAKER_02You literally can put on your phone the directions of where you want to go and just click the button for transit, and it will tell you how to get to the station. It'll tell you what stop to get off on.
SPEAKER_04I rode the red line for years here on the city.
SPEAKER_02Not the same.
SPEAKER_04A subway's a subway. If it happens, I'll roll with it. But he's like, no, I don't do subways. And I'm like, okay, dang.
SPEAKER_02No. There's a weird sound. Am I okay? Am I having a stroke? Something's in my ear.
SPEAKER_04I hear nothing. What does it sound like?
SPEAKER_02Like weird static.
SPEAKER_04Did you lose hearing?
SPEAKER_02No. It's kind of gone. But it felt like technology static, you know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04We are in a simulation. It could be your avatar is malfunctioning.
SPEAKER_02That was crazy. I feel weird. Okay. Anyway.
SPEAKER_04I hear nothing. Is it gone now? Are you just ignoring it? Dissociating.
SPEAKER_02No, it's gone, but I am a dissociating little. That was so weird. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I will when I go to New York with you. Well, here's what I was gonna say. Megan is most likely going to be a lead in a not a Broadway production, like a local production of Shrek.
SPEAKER_01Oh fun.
SPEAKER_04And the performance dates are in July, and she's like, it would be great if a group could come. That feels like the kind of situation where we would go do. Oh yeah. July is a rough month for you.
SPEAKER_02This year is actually I'm actually getting so anxious about like all the things I have to pay for and travel and something.
SPEAKER_04Okay, okay, just don't worry about this one. We'll see if it even comes to light. She doesn't know for sure yet, so we'll see.
SPEAKER_02No, I I mean obviously that would be great, but I would love it. I'm sure the things that Chad wants to show you would probably be different than some of the things that I love about New York, also. So it's always fun to do that. But I do think like uh the subway is I just love it.
SPEAKER_04I don't want to get assaulted.
SPEAKER_02You're not going to.
SPEAKER_04No, it's just ignorance.
Airplane Behavior That Makes Us Rage
Mormon Wives Drama And The Bachelorette
SPEAKER_02Um I mean, some people are crazy, but like you just you just like don't acknowledge, and then it's you just go about your time. Yeah. But anyway, I'm happy for you. I'm excited to hear all about it. Um so the Oscars happened, but I feel like that could maybe be our last thing we talk about. You feel? I have a couple things that I put on my list. One of them is I'm sure you're not up on it, but I just need to like talk a little bit about Taylor Frankie Paul, who is the secret life of the Mormon wife. Um creator. She's the like girl who started mom talk, if you will. She's the one that got blew up the we are swingers thing, and then now she's the The Bachelorette.
SPEAKER_04Oh.
SPEAKER_02Long brown hair.
SPEAKER_04Before you get into it, you just said Swingers Mormons, Utah, which made me think. I just was watching an episode of Salt Lake City Housewives where Whitney, one of the housewives, explains what she was like, Mormon 2.0 is their swingers, and she explained it like this. She was like, it isn't that people don't like the thing is like we're raised in such suppression that it isn't that we want to leave our husbands or wives. We actually love them, but we've never had experiences with anyone else. So this swingers thing is a thing we have we a group, a large number of people do as a way to like have experiences outside of the marriage while still being like, No, I don't want to leave you. Yeah, I just want to have other experiences, and it's a mutual understanding. And I was like, Oh, I never thought about it like that. It's like a way to I don't want to say cheat, it's not cheating, it's like a way to like not cheat, I guess, because you're both acknowledging.
SPEAKER_02But I will say the ones that were involved in it, like from the Secret Lives women, are not with those people anymore. Like there's a girl, Miranda, who she wasn't in the first season, but she came in in the second, I think. She was married to this guy named Chase, and they were a part of the swinging with Taylor and her guy, or whatever.
SPEAKER_04She's obviously single, right? Because she's the bachelorette. She has two kids.
SPEAKER_02Well, this is where we're there's a lot happening with her. This is why I just needed to like chat about it. But both of the people they are with, now they are no longer with.
SPEAKER_04Are any of the guys together?
SPEAKER_02No. Damn. No, it's it's such an interesting thing because this group of girls, like their whole thing was, you know, it's this new era of being a Mormon wife, and we're taking back a lot of the uh things that growing up we were suppressed, like you said, or you know, we it was a stigma to talk about sex, and we didn't learn about it. And so, like, we're taking back that type of thing, and like we are we are the breadwinners of our family now, and so and that's such a different thing against the men. Common tradition, yeah. Like men, the man runs the household, the women do all the you know domestic things, and they have a million babies, and it's just like that thing. But all these ladies are the moneymakers, and their men are the stay-at-home dads now. But there's like one couple, Jen Affleck and Zach, her husband. Jin was the other one that was on Dancing with the Stars. She had just had a baby like a couple months before, and then Dancing with the Stars happened. And so this last episode I watched of this current season is when they're she's in Dancing with the Stars, and the husband is like kind of talking about how he just feels like she's like not fulfilling her mom and the wife duties, and he's just like left being like, I don't know what to do with myself because I just feel like it's all about you, and she's like, Yeah, and I spent years of it just being about you, like before mom talk happened, which for by the way, hate the word mom talk. And the husbands now have started dad talk, and they're trying to like be relevant with that, hate that even more. Can't stand.
SPEAKER_04I don't know what they would call themselves, but plus they're making them famous, though, by the way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and they are very interesting, and I really like enjoy watching it. Like, I'm not mad that I'm watching, I just hate the term mom talk and dad talk. Yeah, but and she's just like he was in medical school for like a a lot of years, and she was like, I literally did nothing, like while you were in medical school, and I did everything for you, and it was all about you. So we are taking turns, and like that's fine. And he did acknowledge, he was like, I do feel like it is like this thing in my head of you know how I grew up and the traditional thing, and it is hard for me to separate that, but it's just like so crazy that I don't know, there are still people who really just feel like the women, the women. Woman is uh no new place babies, and you're you're in the kitchen and like you're cleaning like those things. But Taylor is um the Bachelorette that premiered the other night. I have not watched it yet. Okay, but this whole season that is out right now is basically where they've announced she's gonna be The Bachelorette and her ex-boyfriend, who she has this on and off thing, like they're not together. She hates him so much because he lied to her their whole beginning of their relationship because they weren't officially together, and so he was kind of like sleeping with other women, but he was lying to her about it, and so she's like mad about that, and then he they broke up one time and then he went and slept with one of her like mom's best friend, like basically like a family member to her, yeah, and he just like keeps cheating on her, and so they're like she doesn't want to be with him, but she also kind of does because they have a kid together, and so it's like I I look at my son and I'm like, Wow, you're so like your dad, and like I wish we just like had a you know complete family and those things, and then so she goes back and she gets back with him, they like sleep together, and then the next day everyone yells at her and they're mad at her, and they're like, Why are you doing this? blah blah blah. So in this season, they've announced she's a bachelorette, and then she immediately like relapses and sleeps with him, and they're all like, What are you doing? Like, you're about to be going on the bachelorette, like trying to actually find like a good guy, and here you are two weeks before sleeping with your ex. Like, what are all these men gonna think? Yeah, yeah. For one, and two, like, are you even gonna be able to put your like whole like self into it? Yeah, and then The Bachelorette premiered, and then it went public that they've stopped filming, they're already filming for the next season. They film very close together.
SPEAKER_03What stopped filming?
SPEAKER_02The new Secret Lives.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's stopped filming.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they stopped filming because they got police involved on some domestic violence thing against her ex and her.
SPEAKER_03Oh no.
SPEAKER_02So now everyone's basically like, well, clearly she's not with someone from The Bachelorette, and she's already back with Dakota, her ex. And now you guys are fighting like physically, and it's wait, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So, like, why watch The Bachelorette then? If you know it's I'm like, never I guess to pick a guy you like who could be the bachelor next.
SPEAKER_02Sure, but it's like, yeah, why did they do that? Why would they air all of that stuff about it?
SPEAKER_04Burying the lead of now we know she's not with someone unless she is, and it's a domestic violence thing where he got involved with her new man.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, or just like there is like some maybe he was mad because she is with someone, and then that caused a thing. Yeah, but it it just feels like not good, not good at all. Does it feel like I'm gonna watch and be like, oh, so cute, I'm so happy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02So I don't know. I don't know my thoughts.
SPEAKER_04The drama, the mom talk drum, the mom talk drum.
SPEAKER_02But I am really enjoying the season, okay, good. Even though they're crazy, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, the Mormons.
The Body’s Weirdest Thought Experiment
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I also saw this TikTok where this girl is like, the headline says, or the text on screen says, I will never understand that if my arm falls off, I can't make a new arm, but I can create babies' arms. And like, yeah. Isn't that crazy? How does our body just know to grow a brain?
SPEAKER_04That is a thinker. Hurts, actually, to think about it.
SPEAKER_00Right?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like a female's body can fully grow a human.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But if are we cut off our finger, we can't grow a finger back.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, why haven't we figured out a way to like, oh, I've lost my arm, and then you can grow your arm in your uterus, birth it, and then have it put on?
SPEAKER_02Do put some st st some stem cells, what, inside of your uterus. Inside of your uterus, grow in a finger, plop it back on.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, like nine months later, bada bing, bada boom.
SPEAKER_02Isn't that like a crazy thing? Yeah. I was like, you know what? I've never thought about that.
SPEAKER_04I haven't even got a lot of things.
SPEAKER_02How does our body just know how to do that? All the things. A brain, a nose, a another like whole reproductive system, intestines.
SPEAKER_04It really just adds to the argument that none of it's real and we're all just simulators, simulations.
SPEAKER_00It actually hurts my brain.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like, how does that happen?
SPEAKER_04It's like thinking about eternity.
SPEAKER_00I guess like higher powers.
SPEAKER_04But still. Yeah, still. That's a lot. It's a lot to compute. A lot to compute.
SPEAKER_02I feel really existential, actually.
SPEAKER_04Back to Earth.
SPEAKER_02On top of me already being dissociative now.
SPEAKER_04Fucking what's that movie? Hearing the Matrix in your ear.
SPEAKER_02I've actually never seen The Matrix, and I would like to.
Movies We Loved And Side Eyed
SPEAKER_04Okay. Okay. You should.
SPEAKER_02Oh, we watched The Housemaid this weekend. Pretty bad.
SPEAKER_03Who's that?
SPEAKER_02Uh Amanda Seyfried and your girl. City Sweetie. And the guy from Glenn Powell. Nope.
SPEAKER_04I did watch that.
SPEAKER_02The guy that our friend Angela knows. That was in the Blake Liley movie. It ends with us. Are you okay?
SPEAKER_04Oh, there I got it. I know you're Atlas. He plays Atlas.
SPEAKER_02He plays Atlas, yes. I don't remember his like actual name. He's the lead guy. Amanda Seyfried is the lead girl, and then Amanda. Yep. Then Sydney Sweeney is the housemaid. Lots of twists and turns. I will say, thinking back, if I was reading this as a book, I think it would have been better for me. But as a movie, it was a lot.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I just, okay, you guys, I'm really sorry. Sydney Sweeney's pretty bad. She's not good. I know it hurts you, and I mean no disrespect.
SPEAKER_00Sure, sure. Sid.
SPEAKER_04Well is she's great in euphoria.
SPEAKER_02She's great in yeah, but in euphoria, it's all I feel like euphoria probably feels like her real self. Is that bad to say?
SPEAKER_04Kind of. She's an awful character.
SPEAKER_02She is. I don't remember it. Honestly, it's been seven years. I have no idea.
SPEAKER_04We already know in the next season she's an OF model.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_04Which is not bad.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_04Do your thing, girls and boys.
SPEAKER_02No, I I don't know. I feel like I've done enough market research with Sydney Sweeney. And I do feel like my conclusion is I don't think she's a good actress.
SPEAKER_04That's okay. Opinions are allowed. Let me tell you about Edge.
SPEAKER_02And I don't have a lot of hard opinions, so it's tough for me to say be so vulnerable, if you will. But she's just not for me.
SPEAKER_04I hope she doesn't ever want to collab with the fitness marshal because you might be singing a different tune.
SPEAKER_02She doesn't.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. She's not gonna be knocking on your guys' door.
SPEAKER_02I don't think that like we're the same vibes, if you will.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I I did like the guy.
SPEAKER_03Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And like Amanda Seyfried, by the end, it all made sense. I think you should watch it, I guess, just like for the culture.
SPEAKER_04So I'll check it out.
SPEAKER_02It's an easy watch.
SPEAKER_04It's just like I mean, I can pretty much figure it out. It's a thriller. Like, oh yeah. She tries to steal her man.
SPEAKER_02Kinda.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02I can't tell you. Yeah, don't. Because it's the it's got some twists and turns that would be Ready or Not Two's coming out.
SPEAKER_04So excited. So excited. Got a hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It is out.
SPEAKER_02It did? Yeah. Nice.
SPEAKER_04100% on Ron Tomatoes.
SPEAKER_02I want to say I saw a graphic of Oliwood. I forgot that he was in it. Wow, you're a man. I'm a man. I saw a graphic of Samara weaving. Margot Robbie. And two other girls that look exactly like them that are actresses. You could it gunned in my head and wouldn't be able to tell them all apart.
SPEAKER_04Okay. I also saw a graphic and it was a joke, they were all Margot Robbie.
SPEAKER_02No, no.
SPEAKER_04So it's possible you were looking at that one.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04Because I did, it was on Facebook, and it was like all four of them, and it was like, you're telling me that these are four different people. And it wasn't. It was all Margot Robbie.
SPEAKER_02No, no, no, no. Margot Robbie, Samara Weaving, Jamie Presley, and Emma Mackey.
SPEAKER_04Well, you that is not the one I saw.
SPEAKER_01This is the one I saw.
SPEAKER_04You know who else should be in that? Kennedy.
SPEAKER_02Kennedy.
SPEAKER_04Jamie Kennedy. No.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Jamie Kennedy.
SPEAKER_02Wait, is Jamie Kennedy a guy?
SPEAKER_04Hold on, who's in the city?
SPEAKER_02Jamie Presley.
SPEAKER_04Jamie Presley.
SPEAKER_02She's in it.
SPEAKER_04Jamie Presley. No, who's in the show? My name is Earl.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Let me look.
SPEAKER_04She also looks just like those girls.
SPEAKER_02That's Jamie Presley.
SPEAKER_04No.
SPEAKER_02I'm looking at the cast right now. Now I will say looking at them, Samara's nose is more pointing up than Margot's.
SPEAKER_04Jamie Presley?
SPEAKER_02Yes. Who said it three times?
SPEAKER_04I'm losing my mind. Hold on.
SPEAKER_02This was this one has Jillian Jacobs and Lauren German.
SPEAKER_04Jamie Presley, Jamie King.
SPEAKER_02Show me Jamie King.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02But yes, I saw that and I was like, gone to my head, could not pick those people out.
SPEAKER_04No, okay, sure.
SPEAKER_02I am excited for ready or not to.
SPEAKER_04100% on Rotten Tomatoes, Elijah Wood, and apparently a crazy outfit. And they were like, you're not ready. I'm ready.
SPEAKER_02Nice.
SPEAKER_04Here I come.
SPEAKER_02Uh speaking of Elijah Wood and then Lord of the Rings. Uh, when I was watching the interview on Call Her Daddy with the author of A Court of Thorns and Roses, she Stephanie J. Mass. Sarah J. Mass. She could not stop talking. She could not stop talking about how obsessed she is with Legolas. She was from a small child, she's like Legolas. That is her man.
SPEAKER_04And like not Orlando Bloom, Legolas.
SPEAKER_02Legolas.
SPEAKER_04That was her fantasy moment.
SPEAKER_02That's how she really like it was born that she loved fantasy, and then that's why she started writing romanticy. But like I think she still put Orlando Bloom with some pointy ears in front of her. Like, I don't think she'd be okay. I was like, could not stop talking about it.
SPEAKER_03Really?
SPEAKER_02I was like, wow. That's funny. You and you guys should really talk.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Once he's not. No, never mind. That's Katie Perry. She's with the prime minister, not him.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they've not been together for a while, I feel.
SPEAKER_04Correct, yeah. Since she got back from space.
Oscars Recap And Streaming Mess
SPEAKER_02Should shall we talk about the Oscars now? We should come into that. Well, the big winner of the night, I would say Best Picture, um, was one battle after another. Don't agree. We never saw it. You never saw the movie.
SPEAKER_04I listened to a lot of commentary at BuzzFeed about it. Seems like a shouldn't have won. A lot of misogynistic, racist undertones they claim to be a movie that like really showed put shed light on like deportation, but it actually doesn't. If my people of color and Mexican friends at work are being like, it was good, but like it did not do what they are saying that it did.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I would love to hear those people's thoughts.
SPEAKER_04Also, like I guess I have to I agree because like if you guys are saying and it affects you, but Sinners, like Sinners should have won is like kind of what everyone's saying.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I loved Sinners, but again, I didn't see all these movies.
SPEAKER_04I only saw Michael B. Jordan won. That's great.
SPEAKER_02Michael B. So yes. Um, one battle after another won best picture. Uh Michael B. Jordan won best actor. And wow.
SPEAKER_04Do you think have did you know that you could tie it the Oscars?
SPEAKER_02No, but I wrote that down because I was like I thought it was a joke. Here's my thing. Tried to watch, but I don't have Hulu Live and YouTube TV, and I don't have anything live, and it would not let me watch.
SPEAKER_04Don't worry, because I stopped watching because the Hulu Live transmission was so bad, it was unwatchable.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_04And I thought, what's wrong with my my connection? Nope. Worldwide, everyone was like, what is going on with Hulu? The sound was bad, it kept like cutting out.
SPEAKER_02Just Hulu, though, not YouTube, yeah.
SPEAKER_04And then like they weren't catching curse words.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Like they would say it and then make them go silent.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_04It was like everything about the stream was bad.
SPEAKER_02Hulu was on a delay already.
SPEAKER_04So right. And then Conan's like sometimes he'd be talking in his mic, and then like the feed into the camera would go away, and it would just be like we would hear him talking like ambiance.
SPEAKER_00Weird.
SPEAKER_04And then so many times, twice, because I stopped watching, so maybe that was it. People wanted to keep talking after the close music started and the cameras move over to Conan, but they're still talking. So, like in this one time, Conan's just like looking at them. The camera's still on Conan. He's looking at them, looking at them. Then they finally cut back to the people and let him talk, turn his mic back up. But it was just like, you know, the worst part of award shows is the acceptance speeches. They're so cringy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I was like looking up dr drama that happened or whatever, and it was the short film category. There was the first ever tie, which I'm not mad about. It gives two.
SPEAKER_04There have been six ties at the Oscars.
SPEAKER_02Okay, that headline lied to me.
SPEAKER_04That's what I in maybe in that category, but I thought it was the first time, and then I was schooled at work. They were like, no, this is the sixth time it's happened. It's just so rare.
SPEAKER_02I'm not mad about it. Like it gives two people an award. So nice. Um, and then the other thing was so because Adam Brody, not Adam Brody, the other one.
SPEAKER_04Adrian.
SPEAKER_02Adrian took so long last year, they were really cracking down on not letting people talk that much, but so much so that they were cutting people off. Right. And the K-pop demon hunters were like got no time, and then the crowd was booing. And obviously it feels like Adrian Rhodey come out right after that. Yeah, because he was giving the um award for best actor, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Um funny. We had the first female cinematographer ever to win a mask. Love that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. For Sinners, right?
SPEAKER_04For Sinners, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Um, oh, Michael B. Jordan went to In N Out after, and so many people got to see him with his brought a whole photo shoot crew.
SPEAKER_04Did you see that?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but like if you have, I guess it's probably a thing, people might go to that in and out. Oh is it's Hollywood, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I imagine, yeah.
SPEAKER_02I feel like you could just go camp out there, you know, and just wait to see if someone comes over. It's honestly like a cool picture to have your Oscar and then have it and out, which a double double, yeah. Yum. Best actress went to Jesse Buckley from with uh she was in Hamnet. Wow, I can't speak again. Best supporting actor was Sean Penn.
SPEAKER_04Who did not come?
SPEAKER_02He did not come, and I guess like I don't know anything about him. I guess like people don't like him, huh? Well, that's he has like a bat like a rep of being like a not a nice guy.
SPEAKER_04I don't know about that. I know that I saw a thing online and someone's like, you can't be like people are mad that we're hosting shows for like actors to be given awards, but then when they don't show up because they agree with that, which I guess might be his take. He's just like it's a stupid award, who cares? Then you're mad at him for not showing up. It's like, what's it gonna be?
SPEAKER_02I don't I don't know what my thought is for that. I don't either.
SPEAKER_04But Leo looked good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, people are like, wow, Leo's something's gonna be taking something. Probably Ozympic, right? I don't know.
SPEAKER_04He what?
SPEAKER_02Probably Ozimpic.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I was gonna say he's probably blood sacrificing, but yeah, it could be Ozempic.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actress for Weapons.
SPEAKER_04That was a cringy speech to listen to as well, but also cute.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_04She was so nervous, like her her whole entire body was shaking. But she has she's an agoraphobic person.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_04Because when we tried to work with her, she was like, nah. They were her rep her representative was like, no, she's she doesn't leave the house.
SPEAKER_02Fair. She'd been like, We'll come to you.
SPEAKER_04But she thanked her her husband Ed Harris so cute.
SPEAKER_02That is cute.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Best original screenplay went to Ryan Kugler for Sinners. And I liked that Michael B. Jordan did like make a point in his speech to be like, this is an actually original story and a unique, like not AI thing, not an adapted book and actually an original thought in a script, which is, I feel like most of the movies that are out, which I'm not mad about because there are books that I love that I'm so excited for the adaptations of. Um, Verity being one, I'm so excited for that. And whenever The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo comes out, I'm gonna be really excited about that. But it is nice sometimes for like someone to have a original thought. And best animated feature went to K-Pop Demon Hunter.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, so excited about that.
SPEAKER_02I do want to go back and watch the performance of Golden, which I heard was really short.
SPEAKER_04It was really short, yeah, but it was good.
SPEAKER_02But I do want to watch.
SPEAKER_04Um The cast of Bridesmaids reconnect re- What's the word?
SPEAKER_01Connected?
SPEAKER_04No, they what is it? There was a bridesmaids cast reunion.
SPEAKER_02Oh, reunion, yeah, yeah. Best casting went to one battle after another. And I feel like that's a new award.
SPEAKER_04This was the first year.
SPEAKER_02I feel like Sinners should have won that, in my opinion. Seeing those are the only two movies I saw, so between the two, I would have made it Sinners, but whatever.
SPEAKER_04The only reason I I listened to everyone, like one actor from each of those movies presented the nominee from their movie, and the girl, the young girl from One Battle After Another was explaining how this particular casting director, the one that won, does such a good job in film where she she is able to bring brand new talent, like this girl who's new and she was it was her like first thing.
SPEAKER_00Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04She's really good about like blending huge movie actors and movies with new talent that ends up becoming like big. So that is kind of a skill, I guess, to be able as a casting director, like be able to be like, no, this person, you got it.
SPEAKER_02I did really like the um girl who played Leo's daughter.
SPEAKER_04That's who was. That's who I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_02She was also in it. Wait, what?
SPEAKER_04Huh? The girl who played Leo's daughter was the one talking about the casting director.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah. I enjoyed her. Yeah. Because she is a new face. And obviously, it had big people in it. Like, she was the other like main person amongst three other huge names, Leo, Tiana Taylor, and Sean Penn. So, like, I hope she does more things because she was good. I liked her. Best original score went to Sinners, which, if you guys haven't seen Sinners, you need to, if nothing more. If wait, if for nothing more than the scene where they're like dancing in the That number you should watch from the Oscars.
SPEAKER_04It was so good. Oh, they did something cool.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. I would love to. Best original song, I'm glad went to Golden.
SPEAKER_04Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_02And then they did the in memoriam, and people were upset that um James and Eric were not included. But here's my thing. I don't, I asked there has to be some sort of cutoff, right?
SPEAKER_04Is the cutoff year or time, you mean?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, is the cutoff the day that the Oscars happen? Or is it obviously they have to have time to edit the things? So will they be included next year?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but didn't Catherine O'Hara die like one week before James Vanderbeek?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_04And there was a whole memorial, memorium to Catherine O'Hara and the SAG Actors Award or uh the Oscars. Rachel McAdams did the whole thing.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah. Yeah, I don't know then. I guess some people were like, well, they're they were only they weren't only TV. They were not. Eric was in Valentine's Day.
SPEAKER_04Gay King. He was in more than that, obviously. That's the first one I can.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I guess if Catherine is gonna be you you have to pretty be hardcore on a date. You have to be like, okay, the footage has to be in by this date for editing. Anyone that dies after that.
SPEAKER_04So sorry.
SPEAKER_02Or, you know, within a week before that, they will all be included in the next year. Yeah. Because someone's gonna be upset then. Right. And they're big enough actors that they'll do something. Obviously, they're not as big as Catherine O'Hara, but Eric Dane was the other one.
SPEAKER_04Diane Keaton. There was a big one.
SPEAKER_02But she that was way earlier in the year. So that was. Yeah. Because they were in Morning Glory together and something else.
SPEAKER_04The F Family Stone? Yes. Yeah. Which I just saw from it.
SPEAKER_02Always a good day when you see Rachel McAdams.
SPEAKER_04Always a good day. I think that's all the you know Well, speaking of Rachel McAdams, I would love to see her movie Send Help. It looks good.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, I would like to see it.
SPEAKER_04Scary but good.
SPEAKER_02Love is scary. I haven't seen Scream yet, and I need two because you guys know how much I love Scream.
SPEAKER_04You should watch Wicked for Good on your own because you'll be like, Oh, I'm glad I didn't see that in theaters.
SPEAKER_02Did you already watch it?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and it wasn't it? I was like, Whoa.
SPEAKER_02Upsetting. That's why they should have just uh done it all in one.
SPEAKER_04No, truly, my my thought in watching it was like the very last 20 minutes was good. They they should have just condensed it into one movie with the last 20 minutes because the last it was like no, even the two added songs that I was so excited to hear, I was like, yeah, no, this was just wasted time, it did not add to the story.
SPEAKER_02I stand by my thoughts then. I guess I need to watch it, but I do stand by I should have just but they got like no noms. Yeah, because we all know what they did.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And it was wrong.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Were Ariana and Cynthia even there?
SPEAKER_02I did I didn't see or hear about them.
SPEAKER_04I didn't see or hear about them neither. I know Cynthia's currently in a show in London or New York. She's in a show somewhere where it's a one-woman like Dracula or something.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard that. I don't know where it is either. It might be London.
SPEAKER_04Could be London.
SPEAKER_02London.
SPEAKER_04Who knows?
A-List Of The Week Picks
SPEAKER_02Okay, well, do you think it's time for A list of week? Oh, Stanley liked that.
SPEAKER_04He did.
SPEAKER_02Do you have one?
SPEAKER_04Drizzelius. Guys, mine's a food recommendation. I was, I mean, I've- I feel like you've definitely done Dr. No, never, I've never done Drizzelicious. Drizelicious is a delicious rice cake snack that I've been on for a while, but they just released individual like packs, which I love an individual pack because I never know when to stop in a bag of chips or cookies or anything. And I was influenced on the TikTok shop, and I did, in fact, buy the French toast flavor, and it is incredible. You absolutely must try it. I made people try little pieces of it today at work, and it was like if you venture with me to our youth and the cereal French Toast Crunch.
SPEAKER_01Yum.
SPEAKER_04It tastes just like that. I don't know why I'm telling you, you've had it, you know. Anyway, Drizzelicious. I feel like Illust of the Week should technically be something pop culture related, but today it's Drisilicious.
SPEAKER_02No, I think it's good to be whatever is like you feel passionate about.
SPEAKER_04Who who makes the rules?
SPEAKER_02We do.
SPEAKER_04Right.
SPEAKER_02Hmm. Oh. This is good. This is not pop culture either. But for my birthday gift from Sephora, yeah, I chose the um Glossier.
SPEAKER_04So did I.
SPEAKER_02You did?
SPEAKER_04You got the little samples of the perfumes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, which I've never used before. I know you've had Glossier U, but the Glossier Dew.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So great. Is it?
SPEAKER_04I have opened the package.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, I'm obsessed. It's really good. So I feel like I need it. I also like the floral one. There's three. It comes with the original Glossier U, it comes with Glossier Dew, and then Glossier Fleur. Fleur. Fleur, yeah. And I think I like those both better than the original.
SPEAKER_04Well, how?
SPEAKER_02So I recommend. Okay. And if Glossier is listening, would love to be on the PR list.
SPEAKER_04You heard it here.
SPEAKER_02They're not. Okay. Uh birthdays. It's we have a lot happening, actually. Okay. Victoria Padretti. She is in the show You on Netflix. She plays his like crazy wife for like the last like three seasons or something.
SPEAKER_04Haunting of Hill House.
SPEAKER_02She is in the Haunting of Hill House, and all of them, actually. She's in, yeah. She's 31.
SPEAKER_03Child.
SPEAKER_02She's young, yeah. Randall Park. He plays opposite of Ali Wong in that one rom com where they're like best friends when they're younger. It's on neck on Netflix.
SPEAKER_04Yes, yes, I know what you're talking about. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02He's 52. Perez Hilton is 48.
SPEAKER_04Is he from Fresh Off the Boat?
SPEAKER_02Randall?
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02I really know him. He's in a lot of things, but I know him. I feel like my introduction to him was in that rom-com with Ali Wong. Okay. Aisha Curry is 37. Carrie Russell is 50. Kylie Kelsey is 34. Michelle Moynihan. Now I forget what she's in. Do you know her?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Michelle, but I always pronounce it Monahan.
SPEAKER_02Okay, well, sure. But what is she in?
SPEAKER_04I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Hold on.
SPEAKER_04Michelle Moynihan.
SPEAKER_02Oops. I'm afraid to make my computer. What is Michelle Moynihan in? Moynihan sounds better. Okay. I'll tell you, this phone.
SPEAKER_04What is it doing?
SPEAKER_02The answer I found is New York City. She's in New York City. Thank you. What?
SPEAKER_04Also, what is that voice you've chosen for your surreet?
SPEAKER_02I just like serene.
SPEAKER_04Um sounds like a lesbian.
SPEAKER_02Sure. I just wanted her to have like a little bit of something. You know what I mean? She for sure does.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I have a gorgeous gay Australian man for mine.
SPEAKER_02I've had him before. Michelle is in Mission Impossible 3. True Detective. Season one, what a good season. Did you ever watch that? Oh my gosh, highly recommend. I haven't watched the other ones, but the first season, wow, so good.
SPEAKER_04Matthew Roderick. Matthew Perry. Matthew.
SPEAKER_02She was in the movie Due Date with Robert Downey Jr. I don't know, but I know her face for sure.
SPEAKER_04Do I? Can you turn your computer?
SPEAKER_02I feel like she's just like a she's just there. She's like around.
SPEAKER_04Series with Mark Wahlberg? The Family Plan?
SPEAKER_02Let me look. The Family Plan. She is. Maid of Honor with Patrick Dempsey.
SPEAKER_04With Dempsey, yes.
SPEAKER_02The White Lotus.
SPEAKER_04The White Lotus, of course. She's the celebrity.
SPEAKER_02In which season?
SPEAKER_04The latest one. It's her.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah. Okay. That is where her. Oh yeah. She honestly that picture they use on Famous Birthdays. Madame is giving her nothing. Yeah. That's Of course.
SPEAKER_04Of course. So sorry. Sorry to that woman.
SPEAKER_02I knew her face was very familiar. Okay, and then in pop culture and entertainment, the Hunger Games, released in 2012. Why did I say it like that? Pretty woman released in 1990. And Clarissa Explains It All came out in 1991 on this day.
SPEAKER_04We were but one year old.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I didn't really watch it till later.
SPEAKER_04I didn't either. And when we were watching it later, it felt like it was being on right then. But it definitely wasn't.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_04Melissa Joan Hart.
SPEAKER_02We love you. Do we? Is she is she bad? Okay. Not bad. Just different.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, we I love Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I watch it every night.
SPEAKER_02What? I feel like you watch a lot of things every night. What else are you watching every night?
SPEAKER_04Modern Family. No, no, it's like I'll start with Sabrina and switch to Modern Family. Or Sabrina to Parks and Rat.
SPEAKER_02Right. I did get that um speaker that goes under your pillow.
SPEAKER_04Because I doesn't work.
SPEAKER_02It's great. I am in an era of listening to a book to fall asleep rather than watching something. Oh. Because Josh doesn't really watch TV for bed. And I'm trying not to. I know weird and crazy. And I'm trying not to, just to not be annoying. So I started listening to a book, but I was just putting my phone under my pillow, and I feel like that's not good for brainwaves, probably.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_02Um, and so they make this little speaker that's flat and it goes under your pillow and it connects Bluetooth, and the other person cannot hear it. It's crazy. No, it works. So that's my A-list of the week. Dang.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_02$8.99 on Amazon. Get you on.
