Welcome to your first Intergalactic Instruction.

The world is burning. As a crumbling empire uses violence, domination, fear, and extraction to maintain its grip on our imaginations, we dream of new worlds and we become new things.

In this first transmission, we dig into the rules that will guide us towards new ways of being and new worlds.

These rules are not about obedience. They are instructions for becoming.

For those willing to question the worlds we have inherited, dismantle what no longer serves us, and imagine what could exist beyond them.

Most of us have arrived at a point where we still believe and insist among an act on the principle which is no longer valid. That this is such and such an optimum choice is the lesson of two evils. And that is no longer true.

These are the rules of the revolution. These are the rules and the guides that are helping me enter the new worlds that I'm asking you to believe in.

Fear is a friend, not an enemy.

We are taught that fear is something to overcome. We are taught that we should be afraid. So often we externalize our fear and believe that the world is the frightening thing. But we are afraid of ourselves because we are the world. What we are witnessing is ourselves. To befriend fear is to befriend the parts of ourselves that we were taught to deny. The parts of ourselves that we run from. To befriend fear is to allow yourself to know that your fear does not need to stop you. Actually, it can help you if you're willing to listen to the shadows and the parts of yourself that are trying to come through. Every part of you deserves to be loved. Every part of you deserves to be loved. And if you don't love every part of yourself, why is it a part of you? Love is what they do not understand. Love is what they are afraid of. To love is to embrace complexity, to be truly seen is to be truly loved. Living into our complexity is our freedom. It is also our birthright. And we deserve and we need love to guide us. Because that will be how we thrive, and how we reconfigure and restructure our lives. Because fear is guiding so many of us. But love will prevail. And love is the light, the change, the force, the becoming, the answer. You can't perform the change you need to choose. So many of us want to become and be finished masterpieces. We want certainty when in truth we are still unfolding, still becoming. We cannot be decolonized in a world that asks us to remain embedded within coloniality in order to survive. We must choose freedom with our whole selves. Liberation is not a part-time job. We must become deliberate. We need to decide who we want to be. Not for your followers or for your friends, but for your heart, for your spirit, for us all. Our liberation and our freedom will not be a performance. It will be a celebration. It will be a protest. It will be a riot. Education is electricity. We must relearn what it means to be alive and what it means to be human. Education is the current that illuminates our path towards new worlds. Pick up a book, listen to a podcast, go to a talk, listen, dance to new music, watch a film in a different language. Challenge yourself and challenge your beliefs.

Music is the sound of the future. It is the weapon of the future. The world is full of so much noise. When we claim our freedom, we'll make music not only in the streets but within ourselves. When I first began this journey, my inclination and my message was to understand what it means to use and to understand your own sound. And the further I have gone on this journey, the more I realize that so many people are afraid of listening to themselves, afraid to find the harmonies because they feel full of noise. But as soon as we allow ourselves to touch in, to embrace the fullness of our own spirits, music will be made and you will be dancing. What we see is a fraction of what we can witness. Our eyes alone will not set us free. Vision is not our only way of knowing. When we open ourselves to new ways of making knowledge and we push past the hierarchies, the colonial senses through which we understand the world, we will begin to understand and step into new realities. The unknown is always speaking. There is so much around us that we are not privy to. But if we allow ourselves to enter possibilities of knowledge, of knowing that challenges the empirical world we live in, we will be closer to the truth of ourselves and the truth of the world that are being born. Your heart is a dimension of possibility. Your heart holds worlds you cannot yet imagine. The first step is believing that they are possible. Forever is a passage inside of your heart, and when you allow yourself to enter it, everything you want and everything you need will start to make sense and start to breathe.

Change. Change is the pathway to new worlds. It may look like destruction, but it's rebirth. Change is the only way forward. If you are afraid to change, if you are afraid of the changes that require your heart, but rather want to fall into this white imagination that tells you change will be forced upon you, and that change is destruction and violence, then you have already lost the fight and the battle within yourself. To choose your change is to choose your path, and we all deserve that. Because our lives belong to us. The world is still being made if you are willing. If you are ready to try and make it. Place your hands within it. Carve, sculpt, mould a destiny, a path that allows you to be. That I can get down with.
