Inspiration doesn’t always show up when you want it to be there. There’s this cycle of needing to get things done, but not feeling inspired to start them. So we procrastinate until we don’t have a choice.
You can create inspiration by simply starting - by doing it even when you don’t feel like you can. And slowly your brain will go from not wanting to do it to not being able to stop.
Distractions are one of the biggest inspiration killers. Once you have momentum, it takes your brain 20 minutes to get back into the groove of things. This is often where great ideas get muddy.
Honestly, I struggle with creativity sometimes (especially when I have a tight deadline). I perform my best work when I don’t have time to overthink it because it HAS to get done – but I’ve also realized I can have this same result without the clock ticking in my ear.
This week, I want you to take your #powerback by doing one thing this week you don’t feel inspired to do, but need to. You can create your own inspiration simply by doing it.
