Fairy Bread

Episode 23 Sad Vacation, The Last Days of Sid and Nancy

This week we cover the Romeo and Juliet of the punk generation, Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen, both who met untimely deaths in their twenties, Sid 21 and Nancy 20.
This documentary has interviews from people who were there, friends, musicians and photographers.
Nancy had a rivalry with fellow groupie Sable Starr, who was dubbed the Queen of the Groupie Scene….interestingly enough, it was  Nancy who gained notoriety and fame after her death, well surpassing that of Sable….A great character study of two unforgettable and troubled characters.
