Welcome to another episode of the Heart Place Hospital Podcast! Today, we’re excited to welcome Martin Gebhardt, founder of Foundation You. Martin is a trailblazer in integrative health, specializing in holistic approaches to chronic pain, injury prevention, and overall well-being. With over 12 years of experience, he is one of New Zealand’s highest-qualified C.H.E.K. (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology Institute) Practitioners and a Level 3 Holistic Lifestyle Coach, helping clients achieve lasting transformation by addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health.
In this episode, we hope to cover Martin’s journey and expertise on the importance of posture, breathing, and lifestyle in the healing process. We’ll explore his approach to creating systems that promote health naturally, focusing on root causes rather than palliative care. Additionally, we aim to discuss how empathy, listening, and compassionate leadership are essential in transforming healthcare experiences.
When not working with clients, Martin enjoys the natural beauty of Mangawhai, New Zealand, where his clinic is based. He spends time with his family and continues to refine his craft through education and research.
We can’t wait to learn from Martin’s experience and wisdom as he guides us through the science and art of achieving optimal health, well-being, and performance.
