Check out the recipe!
- 500 g flour or GF flour (Caputo is preferred)
- 360 ml of water
- 1- 1/2 packet of yeast
- 1 Tablespoon of sugar (optional)
- 13 g of salt
- Dissolve yeast, sugar and salt in the water. Adjust to taste
- Combine with flour and mix with a fork*
- Allow dough to sit in a closed container for 18-24 hours or 6 hours on the counter and the remaining time in the fridge
- Remove from fridge and let sit for an hour or until room temperature
- Sprinkle flour over the dough and onto the counter and gently fold into a ball
- Put a dutch oven in an oven and bring to 475 F
- Gently place dough in dutch oven and cover. Bake for 30 minutes
- Uncover for 15 more minutes until golden brown. Bread should have a hollow sound when you tap it when done!
