Liberating Motherhood
Challenging the culture around US maternal health and strengthening the family unit.
Whos's this for? Pregnant women, birthing people, birth workers, postpartum mothers and parents
Leah LaHue is a birth doula, speaker, educator and mom of 2. She is a life-long learner and actively challenges the status quo surrounding the "business" of maternal health care in the United States. The Liberating Motherhood podcast features raw, unfiltered personal stories of motherhood and childbirth as well as conversations with experts, wellness practitioners, and heart-to-hearts with women whose stories represent us all. She aims to help women cultivate true embodiment and peace in their birth and motherhood transition through critical thinking and asking questions. This podcast includes evidence based research and also thoughtful opinions. We will laugh, cry, but most importantly we will support each other through the most important journey in the evolution of mankind; birth and parenthood.

How to Approach the Solar Eclipse: Big Changes and Big Feelings
Eclipses are powerful transition periods during which doors close on what is familiar, and open to a new existence. Are you feeling the intensity of these "contractions" in your life as big changes arise? ME TOO. As with physiological birth, when birthing a new self, it is important to breathe, to relax, to pause, trust, and listen. Are you ready?
This can feel emotionally intense; as if your world is crumbling. You may be feeling grief, sadness, joy and gratitude all at once during this transition. This is an incredible opportunity to focus on new beginnings and to allow what isn't useful to shed away.
OUR FAMILY IS MOVING TO OREGON! Big feelings, changes and perspectives shared in this episode including a bonus tip from my 3-year old on how to pivot out of negative emotions.
