When the Unstoppable Stops
Unstoppable - When the Unstoppable Stops
Join us today as we kick off our easter series titled Unstoppable.
What we have to know first …. You have a purpose
Phillippians 2:13-“For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose.”
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.”
How do we walk in purpose?
John 5:19 “Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, the Son is not able to do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son likewise does these things. ”
1 Corinthians 11:1 paul says. “Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ. ”
What stops us from walking in purpose?
When we try to create purpose on our own, it stops us from walking in the purpose we were created for.
What does walking in Purpose look like?
Matthew 20:29-34 “As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. There were two blind men sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David! ” The crowd demanded that they keep quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David! ” Jesus stopped, called them, and said, “What do you want me to do for you? ” “Lord,” they said to him, “open our eyes.” Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes. Immediately they could see, and they followed him.”
Matthew 20:31-32 “The crowd demanded that they keep quiet, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David! ” Jesus stopped, called them, and said, “What do you want me to do for you? ””
