My Experiences with Past Life Hypnotherapy

Jack Berding

Ever since studying and living in Asia for 6 months in 2022, I have been fascinated with the idea of how widely accepted the notion of reincarnation is in some cultures. This curiosity led me to more heavily research the topic, discovering that many children (typically between the ages of 2-5) all around the world report having memories of previous lifetimes. This is so frequent in fact, that the University of Virginia opened up its own research institute to study the phenomena.

This research of mine broadened with the discovery that there is a certain sect of psychotherapy called Past Life Hypnotherapy. As several American psychiatric practitioners in the late 20th century began revisiting the use of hypnosis as a means to heal their patients, some of the patients under hypnosis began discussing traumatic memories from what appeared to be different lifetimes.

This is the story of how I got interested in the field and my own individual experiences with Past Life Hypnotherapy--including a snippet from myself being hypnotised.

I hope you enjoy ◡̈
