Humanistic Gospel!

Ronald Myers jr

The Ministering Angel Podcast encourages listeners to deepen their connection with Jesus Christ by rejecting the 'humanistic gospel' and returning to the true gospel. The humanistic gospel centers on human desires and emotions, lacking true transformative power. Ronald and various hosts emphasize the importance of repentance, surrender, and holiness, highlighting biblical scriptures to argue that the true gospel demands personal change and spiritual growth. The podcast urges a return to the authentic teachings of Christ, focusing on discipleship, obedience, and genuine spiritual renewal.

There is a message rising in this generation that sounds spiritual but has no power. It looks like the gospel, but it is missing the very parts that make the gospel what it is. I call it the humanistic gospel. A message that puts man at the center instead of Christ. A message that feeds emotions but never transforms the heart. A message that tells you you can walk with God and remain exactly the same.

The Humanistic Gospel vs. The True Gospel

The true gospel never leaves you the same.

Second Corinthians 5:17 says that if anyone is in Christ, they become a new creation and old things pass away. This means the real gospel confronts what is old in you and demands that it dies so something new can live.

Humanistic gospel avoids that. It does not ask you to surrender. It does not ask you to repent. It does not ask you to carry a cross.

The Call to Repentance and Transformation

Yet Luke 9:23 says that anyone who wants to follow Jesus must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him. The true gospel calls for death to the flesh. The humanistic gospel comforts it.

This false message keeps telling you that God exists to support your dreams, validate your desires, and make your life easier. But the Word teaches the opposite. Matthew 6:33 commands us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. That means His will comes before your wants. His truth comes before your preferences. His purpose comes before your plans.

The Misleading Comfort of the Humanistic Gospel

The humanistic gospel teaches that God’s love means God approves everything you do. Yet the Bible says in Hebrews 12:6 that the Lord disciplines those He loves. Love corrects. Love convicts. Love calls you higher. A gospel that refuses correction is not the gospel of Christ.

Many people are being drawn to churches that preach comfort but never confrontation. They like messages that encourage but never convict. They want inspiration but not transformation. They want promises but not repentance. But the gospel Jesus preached was not motivational speaking. It was a call to turn from sin and enter the kingdom of God. Mark 1:15 shows Jesus Himself saying, repent and believe the gospel. Repentance is not optional. It is the doorway into real freedom.

The humanistic gospel builds your self-confidence but weakens your spirit. It tells you what you want to hear, not what you need to hear. It avoids hard truth so your feelings stay intact. It avoids holiness so nobody feels offended.

The Necessity of Holiness and Truth

But Leviticus 20:26 says God calls His people to be holy because He is holy. Holiness is not a suggestion. It is a requirement.

The humanistic gospel convinces you that you can serve God while keeping your idols. It convinces you that you can live in sin and still walk in power. It convinces you that heaven is automatic, no matter how you live. But Scripture does not agree. First Corinthians 6:9 to 10 makes it clear that those who live in unrepentant sin will not inherit the kingdom of God. This truth might feel heavy, but it is a truth that saves your soul.

The True Gospel: A Call to Surrender

The true gospel does not pamper your flesh. It kills it. Galatians 5:24 says that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Crucified. Not entertained. Not excused. Not justified. Crucified.

The humanistic gospel tells you that your feelings are your guide. But Jeremiah 17:9 says the heart is deceitful. Feelings cannot be your foundation. Truth must be. Feelings change. Truth remains.

The Power of Conviction and Real Freedom

The true gospel cuts, but it only cuts so it can heal. Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is a sword that pierces and divides. It exposes what is wrong so God can make it right. Conviction is not an attack. Conviction is mercy.

This generation does not need another humanistic message. It needs the fire of God. It needs the real gospel that brings repentance. The real gospel that breaks chains. The real gospel that transforms darkness into light. The real gospel that produces holiness, obedience, and power.

The humanistic gospel builds crowds.

 The true gospel builds disciples.

The humanistic gospel entertains people.

 The true gospel equips people.

The humanistic gospel makes you comfortable.

The true gospel makes you surrendered.

I am not here to preach a message that leaves your bondage untouched. I am here to declare the truth that sets you free. John 8:32 says you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Truth delivers. Truth transforms. Truth confronts what is destroying you so God can rebuild you.

Conclusion: Return to the True Gospel

Reject the humanistic gospel.

 Return to the true one.

 The gospel of Christ.

 The gospel of power.

The gospel of repentance and restoration.

The gospel that saves your soul.
