It urges listeners to stop shrinking or editing themselves to gain acceptance, reminding them with Psalm 139:14 that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” It explains that silence can come from unhealed wounds caused by being misunderstood, talked about, or overlooked, and emphasizes that God heals and restores, including restoring one’s voice. The message warns against being led by others’ opinions through people-pleasing and compromise, citing Galatians 1:10 to stress choosing God’s approval over man’s. It closes by encouraging continued faith and inspiration.

There was a version of you that started shrinking… and you didn’t even realize when it began.

You started editing yourself to fit people who were never assigned to understand you.

You started dimming what God placed in you just to stay accepted.

But the truth is…

Fearfully Made Identity

God never called you to become someone else.

Psalm 139:14.

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

If God calls you wonderful…

why are you apologizing for what He formed?

Silenced by Wounds

Some of you aren’t quiet… you’re wounded.

 You were misunderstood.

 Talked about.

 Overlooked.

And instead of healing… you went silent.

Unhealed wounds will always mute your voice.

And what hurt you will try to define you… if you let it.

God Restores Your Voice

But hear me clearly…

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Healing is not weakness. It’s restoration.

God doesn’t just save you… He restores your voice.

Breaking People Pleasing

Some of you aren’t being led by God… you’re being led by people’s opinions.

You say yes when you mean no.

You adjust your convictions to stay accepted.

You read the room before you obey God.

And little by little…

you trained yourself to follow people instead of the Spirit.

People-pleasing isn’t kindness. It’s fear in disguise.

 Fear of rejection.

 Fear of being misunderstood.

 Fear of standing alone.

But if approval is your goal… compromise will become your lifestyle.

Galatians 1:10.

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

You cannot fully follow God while being controlled by people.

Choose Who You Serve

At some point…

you have to decide who you’re living for.
